從化(hua)區第二(er)(er)中(zhong)學(xue)創辦于1984年(nian)(nian)(nian),原名為從化(hua)縣街(jie)口二(er)(er)中(zhong),現(xian)為廣(guang)(guang)東(dong)省一(yi)級學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao),是從化(hua)區教(jiao)育局(ju)直屬中(zhong)學(xue)。從化(hua)區第二(er)(er)中(zhong)學(xue),繼2006年(nian)(nian)(nian)3月被評(ping)為廣(guang)(guang)州市一(yi)級學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao),又于2007年(nian)(nian)(nian)5月被評(ping)為廣(guang)(guang)東(dong)省一(yi)級學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao),并于2010年(nian)(nian)(nian)4月順利通過廣(guang)(guang)東(dong)省普通高中(zhong)教(jiao)學(xue)水平評(ping)估,實現(xian)了一(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)一(yi)個(ge)新臺階的(de)跨越式(shi)發展。學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)現(xian)占地面積42993平方米,建筑(zhu)面積22977平方米。現(xian)有教(jiao)學(xue)班50個(ge),其(qi)中(zhong)初(chu)中(zhong)20個(ge)班,高中(zhong)30個(ge)班,在(zai)校(xiao)(xiao)生2500多人。
學(xue)校截止2020年有(you)教(jiao)職員(yuan)工179人(ren)(ren),其中專任(ren)教(jiao)師(shi)159人(ren)(ren),中學(xue)高級(ji)教(jiao)師(shi)32人(ren)(ren),中學(xue)一級(ji)教(jiao)師(shi)69人(ren)(ren),從化市學(xue)科帶頭人(ren)(ren)5人(ren)(ren),教(jiao)師(shi)學(xue)歷達(da)標率100%。
