因山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)形似一(yi)頭俯臥(wo)的(de)(de)(de)獅(shi)(shi)子而得名。山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)體南(nan)北(bei)(bei)走向,與烏蒙山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)遙(yao)遙(yao)相望。山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)頂(ding)平闊,由(you)南(nan)向北(bei)(bei)緩緩下斜,山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)頂(ding)四周是(shi)百(bai)余米(mi)(mi)(mi)高(gao)的(de)(de)(de)陡峭懸(xuan)崖(ya)(ya),懸(xuan)崖(ya)(ya)之下,是(shi)一(yi)片緩沖(chong)坡地。獅(shi)(shi)子山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)頂(ding)海拔2419.8米(mi)(mi)(mi),山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)腳的(de)(de)(de)武定縣城(cheng)海拔1740米(mi)(mi)(mi),高(gao)差679.8米(mi)(mi)(mi)。風景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu)總面(mian)積13.6平方(fang)(fang)(fang)千米(mi)(mi)(mi),整個風景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu)由(you)古(gu)(gu)(gu)剎(cha)景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu),懸(xuan)巖景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu)、林(lin)海景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu)組成(cheng),共(gong)(gong)36個景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu)。獅(shi)(shi)子山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)風景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu)的(de)(de)(de)入口處為(wei)古(gu)(gu)(gu)剎(cha)景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu),以(yi)(yi)正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)為(wei)中心(xin),周圍元、明、清各(ge)時期的(de)(de)(de)古(gu)(gu)(gu)跡甚(shen)多(duo)(duo),森林(lin)茂密(mi),古(gu)(gu)(gu)木參天。古(gu)(gu)(gu)剎(cha)景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu)共(gong)(gong)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)景(jing)點11個,其中以(yi)(yi)正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)寺(si)(si)(si)為(wei)勝景(jing)。正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)寺(si)(si)(si)已有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)670多(duo)(duo)年的(de)(de)(de)歷(li)史,經過(guo)歷(li)代修(xiu)復(fu)擴建(jian),現占地17萬平方(fang)(fang)(fang)米(mi)(mi)(mi),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)殿宇(yu)亭閣110多(duo)(duo)間。建(jian)筑依山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)就勢(shi),布(bu)(bu)局嚴謹。大(da)雄寶殿是(shi)禪(chan)寺(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)主體建(jian)筑,為(wei)五檐歇山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)頂(ding)式(shi)土木結構,建(jian)筑面(mian)積454平方(fang)(fang)(fang)米(mi)(mi)(mi),大(da)殿南(nan)北(bei)(bei)各(ge)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)3間樓房陪(pei)殿。北(bei)(bei)側(ce)的(de)(de)(de)方(fang)(fang)(fang)丈室(shi),獨(du)立成(cheng)院,古(gu)(gu)(gu)雅清幽,春季牡丹(dan)盛(sheng)開,金秋丹(dan)桂(gui)飄香。正(zheng)(zheng)續(xu)禪(chan)寺(si)(si)(si)后面(mian)的(de)(de)(de)懸(xuan)巖景(jing)區(qu)(qu)(qu),是(shi)一(yi)條(tiao)南(nan)北(bei)(bei)走向長3千米(mi)(mi)(mi)、高(gao)100多(duo)(duo)米(mi)(mi)(mi)的(de)(de)(de)石(shi)壁(bi),形成(cheng)一(yi)道巨大(da)的(de)(de)(de)臺階(jie),地勢(shi)十分(fen)險峻,只有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)幾處攀(pan)援(yuan)登上(shang)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)頂(ding)。在這條(tiao)石(shi)壁(bi)上(shang),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)上(shang)倚絕壁(bi)下臨(lin)深谷的(de)(de)(de)僅容1人通過(guo)的(de)(de)(de)鳥道天梯、有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)抬頭只見一(yi)線天的(de)(de)(de)深淵、有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)奇(qi)形怪狀似人似獸的(de)(de)(de)奇(qi)巖怪石(shi)、有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)依巖就勢(shi)修(xiu)建(jian)的(de)(de)(de)飛閣懸(xuan)亭、云橋棧(zhan)道,還有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)巖洞石(shi)室(shi)、飛泉瀑布(bu)(bu)、老樹(shu)古(gu)(gu)(gu)藤,自然景(jing)觀十分(fen)豐富。詩(shi)人王心(xin)鑒(jian)游覽后有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)詩(shi)贊曰:竹林(lin)古(gu)(gu)(gu)寺(si)(si)(si)竹聲(sheng)喧(xuan),翠云掩映(ying)獅(shi)(shi)子山(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。千頃福田結如意,萬竿修(xiu)筠(yun)報(bao)平安(an)。云卷云舒(shu)慈悲國,人往人來菩提園(yuan)。無(wu)上(shang)清涼悟大(da)道,種竹原(yuan)本是(shi)參禪(chan)。
傳說
據傳(chuan)獅子(zi)(zi)山(shan)(shan)最(zui)早(zao)不(bu)像一只獅子(zi)(zi),也不(bu)叫(jiao)獅子(zi)(zi)山(shan)(shan),而叫(jiao)"通(tong)天山(shan)(shan)"。通(tong)天山(shan)(shan),高(gao)聳人(ren)云,直(zhi)達天庭(ting),世人(ren)得知此山(shan)(shan)能通(tong)天庭(ting),于是(shi),有些想到天堂過神仙日子(zi)(zi)的(de)人(ren),便沿(yan)著這座山(shan)(shan)涌(yong)向(xiang)天庭(ting)。玉皇大帝(di)得知凡人(ren)來到天上,便命(ming)太白金星(xing)前(qian)去追查這些人(ren)究(jiu)竟從何(he)路而來?當得知通(tong)天山(shan)(shan)這條直(zhi)通(tong)天庭(ting)的(de)道(dao)路時,玉皇大帝(di)即(ji)命(ming)雷(lei)公速將通(tong)天山(shan)(shan)劈斷(duan)。
雷公得令,立(li)刻來到通天(tian)(tian)山(shan)的上(shang)(shang)空(kong),揮動錘楔,用力一(yi)擊(ji),只聽一(yi)聲(sheng)霹靂(li),通天(tian)(tian)山(shan)被(bei)攔(lan)腰砍斷(duan),山(shan)頂形成一(yi)個大平臺,平臺邊緣形成了(le)百丈懸崖。從此(ci),通天(tian)(tian)山(shan),再(zai)也通不了(le)天(tian)(tian),人也不能上(shang)(shang)天(tian)(tian)了(le)。但人們都不知道(dao)是(shi)誰將(jiang)山(shan)劈(pi)斷(duan),于(yu)是(shi)便把通天(tian)(tian)山(shan)改稱為"誰劈(pi)峰"。
又不知過了多少年(nian),有九十(shi)九條白(bai)(bai)龍(long)云游到(dao)"誰(shui)劈(pi)(pi)峰",看(kan)見這些山(shan)(shan)清水(shui)秀,奇(qi)峰異境,留戀不愿(yuan)離去,便在(zai)山(shan)(shan)下住了下來。從此"誰(shui)劈(pi)(pi)峰"的四(si)周流出九十(shi)九股泉水(shui),滋潤著(zhu)武定壩子,造福于(yu)人(ren)類。人(ren)們為感謝白(bai)(bai)龍(long),就(jiu)在(zai)山(shan)(shan)上建了一座(zuo)白(bai)(bai)龍(long)庵,終年(nian)祭(ji)祀(si)。于(yu)是又將(jiang)誰(shui)劈(pi)(pi)峰改名為白(bai)(bai)龍(long)山(shan)(shan)。
又不知(zhi)過了多少年(nian),有(you)一(yi)頭雄(xiong)獅來到白龍(long)(long)(long)山(shan)(shan)(shan),見到山(shan)(shan)(shan)勢雄(xiong)偉(wei),水豐林(lin)茂(mao),也想在此定居,便與白龍(long)(long)(long)爭奪此山(shan)(shan)(shan)。雙方(fang)展開了一(yi)場生死搏斗,獅吼龍(long)(long)(long)嘯,飛(fei)沙(sha)走石,狂風暴雨(yu),地(di)動山(shan)(shan)(shan)搖,難(nan)分難(nan)解(jie)。經過九(jiu)九(jiu)八十一(yi)個晝夜的激戰(zhan),白龍(long)(long)(long)戰(zhan)敗而逃。有(you)兩條逃往祿(lu)勸(quan)(quan)方(fang)向住下(xia),據(ju)說(shuo)就(jiu)是祿(lu)勸(quan)(quan)境內的二龍(long)(long)(long)山(shan)(shan)(shan)。有(you)二龍(long)(long)(long)因負重傷,不能同其他白龍(long)(long)(long)一(yi)齊逃走,便落在山(shan)(shan)(shan)腳下(xia),據(ju)稱是現在的白龍(long)(long)(long)箐(qing),其余白龍(long)(long)(long)逃到對面的東山(shan)(shan)(shan)潛伏下(xia)來。
潛伏在東(dong)山(shan)的白(bai)(bai)(bai)龍(long)(long),不甘(gan)心失(shi)敗,千(qian)方百計總想(xiang)尋機報(bao)仇(chou),收復被(bei)獅子(zi)搶占的領土。但他(ta)們知(zhi)道憑武力斗不過獅子(zi),于是便(bian)(bian)把東(dong)山(shan)慢慢地向上(shang)拱(gong)起,想(xiang)堵住武定壩子(zi)的出(chu)水(shui),用積水(shui)淹沒獅子(zi)。武定人民看到東(dong)山(shan)慢慢長(chang)高,再往上(shang)長(chang)便(bian)(bian)會(hui)堵住武定壩子(zi)的出(chu)水(shui)口,只(zhi)好在東(dong)山(shan)頂上(shang)建了(le)(le)一座白(bai)(bai)(bai)塔,鎮(zhen)住東(dong)山(shan)再長(chang),這白(bai)(bai)(bai)塔現在還在巍然屹(yi)立東(dong)山(shan)之巔。而獅子(zi)也時(shi)刻防備(bei)(bei)白(bai)(bai)(bai)龍(long)(long)反撲(pu)報(bao)仇(chou),便(bian)(bian)伸出(chu)前(qian)爪,昂(ang)頭(tou)弓(gong)背(bei)伏臥(wo)在東(dong)山(shan)對面,準(zhun)備(bei)(bei)隨時(shi)出(chu)擊白(bai)(bai)(bai)龍(long)(long)的反撲(pu),就(jiu)成(cheng)了(le)(le)現在的臥(wo)獅。這神(shen)奇的說(shuo),更使獅子(zi)山(shan)充滿誘(you)人的色彩……在許許多多的傳(chuan)說(shuo)故事中(zhong),有(you)關明(ming)朝(chao)建文帝削發為僧,來獅子(zi)山(shan)當和尚(shang)的神(shen)奇故事,在武定壩子(zi)里更是家喻戶曉,婦孺(ru)皆知(zhi),情節生(sheng)動(dong)感(gan)人,"鉤擔戳(chuo)出(chu)月牙潭",便(bian)(bian)是眾多傳(chuan)說(shuo)之一。
歷史
跨進(jin)獅(shi)山(shan)(shan)之間,在茂密的常綠闊(kuo)葉林中,迎面便(bian)是一(yi)座森(sen)嚴而壯觀的佛寺,現名(ming)(ming)正續(xu)禪寺。正續(xu)禪寺建(jian)于元代至(zhi)大(da)四年(nian)(公(gong)元1331年(nian))是為(wei)正寺;后經(jing)印度名(ming)(ming)僧指空擴建(jian),是為(wei)續(xu)寺。 寺內大(da)雄(xiong)寶殿雄(xiong)偉,周圍的庭院以及樓(lou)臺亭(ting)閣(ge)布局巧妙,工藝精湛,遍布于其間的各種碑刻、楹(ying)聯(lian)出自歷(li)代名(ming)(ming)家之手,有(you)(you)著(zhu)豐富的文(wen)化內涵。在大(da)雄(xiong)寶殿前(qian),生長著(zhu)數(shu)株古(gu)(gu)松柏(bo),據說也(ye)有(you)(you)上千(qian)年(nian)的歷(li)史(shi),為(wei)這座古(gu)(gu)剎增添了神秘的色彩。正續(xu)禪寺后面的藏經(jing)樓(lou),依(yi)山(shan)(shan)而起(qi),幾(ji)乎與獅(shi)山(shan)(shan)主峰融(rong)為(wei)一(yi)體。樓(lou)下(xia)的祠閣(ge)所供的是建(jian)文(wen)皇帝座前(qian)的木柱繪有(you)(you)金燦燦的天龍這一(yi)作為(wei)寺院組成部(bu)分(fen)的皇帝祠閣(ge),喚(huan)起(qi)人(ren)們對歷(li)史(shi)的記憶。
寺內(nei)大雄寶殿的柱子(zi)上,則有這樣一副楹聯:“僧(seng)(seng)為帝(di),帝(di)亦為僧(seng)(seng),數十載衣缽相傳,正(zheng)覺依(yi)然皇覺舊;叔負(fu)侄,侄不負(fu)叔,八千(qian)里芒(mang)鞋(xie)徒步(bu),獅山(shan)(shan)更(geng)比燕(yan)山(shan)(shan)高。”聯內(nei)所(suo)說的皇覺寺,指(zhi)朱元璋(zhang)早年為僧(seng)(seng)之所(suo);“叔負(fu)侄”指(zhi)朱棣篡奪了侄兒朱允炆的帝(di)位。顯然,作此聯的古人堅信朱允炆曾在此為僧(seng)(seng),并寄以同情。聯中“衣缽相傳”語,概括了祖父朱元璋(zhang)由(you)(you)僧(seng)(seng)為帝(di),孫子(zi)朱允炆由(you)(you)帝(di)為僧(seng)(seng)的滄桑巨變(bian),構思精奇,說盡了這段(duan)千(qian)古巧合(he)的無情史實!
