建筑結構
該寺(si)(si)座北面南(nan),兩(liang)(liang)(liang)進(jin)院(yuan)(yuan),創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)于(yu)北宋(song)開寶四(si)年(971),歷代(dai)(dai)屢有(you)修(xiu)葺。現存建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)有(you)山(shan)門、中(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、鐘鼓樓及東(dong)西配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、兩(liang)(liang)(liang)廡等。中(zhong)(zhong)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)宋(song)代(dai)(dai)早(zao)期(qi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu),后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)(wei)明(ming)代(dai)(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu),其(qi)余建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)為(wei)(wei)(wei)清代(dai)(dai)遺物。中(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),居(ju)院(yuan)(yuan)內(nei)中(zhong)(zhong)央,雄健古樸(pu),穩重壯(zhuang)觀(guan)。據寺(si)(si)內(nei)現存宋(song)淳化二年(991)碑(bei)文記載,創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)于(yu)宋(song)《營造法式》頒行之前的(de)北宋(song)開寶年間(jian)(jian)。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)身(shen)面闊三(san)間(jian)(jian),進(jin)深六椽,單檐九脊(ji)頂(ding),筒板(ban)布瓦(wa)蓋頂(ding),上施琉(liu)璃吻獸。該殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在(zai)(zai)許多地(di)方沿襲唐(tang)制,柱頭無普柏杭。斗(dou)拱七鋪(pu)作,雙抄雙下(xia)昂(ang)(ang),昂(ang)(ang)為(wei)(wei)(wei)批竹式,昂(ang)(ang)尾(wei)壓在(zai)(zai)四(si)椽袱下(xia)皮。補間(jian)(jian)斗(dou)拱五(wu)鋪(pu)作,雙抄偷心造,下(xia)部無櫨(lu)斗(dou)和直斗(dou)與唐(tang)代(dai)(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)五(wu)臺山(shan)佛(fo)(fo)光寺(si)(si)東(dong)大(da)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)一致(zhi)。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)梁架徹(che)上露明(ming)造,使用(yong)(yong)的(de)一對(dui)“斷梁”,結構奇(qi)特(te)(te),是民間(jian)(jian)匠師(shi)獨特(te)(te)的(de)創(chuang)造,這在(zai)(zai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)史上具有(you)較高(gao)的(de)實踐(jian)意義。斷梁是利用(yong)(yong)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)根直徑(jing)、長短相(xiang)等的(de)短梁對(dui)接成,“斷梁”正中(zhong)(zhong)縫(feng)下(xia),用(yong)(yong)順袱來承托,兩(liang)(liang)(liang)端架于(yu)前后(hou)檐柱斗(dou)拱后(hou)尾(wei)上,并(bing)將尾(wei)蓋重力(li)平衡到前后(hou)檐柱之上,這一建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)特(te)(te)點是古代(dai)(dai)匠師(shi)因材(cai)設計:小村大(da)用(yong)(yong)的(de)獨特(te)(te)創(chuang)舉(ju)。三(san)間(jian)(jian)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)宇,七鋪(pu)作斗(dou)拱,出檐之深遠,又超過了五(wu)代(dai)(dai)時期(qi)的(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)平遙(yao)鎮國寺(si)(si)萬佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),其(qi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)風(feng)(feng)格當屬古制。崇明(ming)寺(si)(si)中(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在(zai)(zai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)風(feng)(feng)格上沿襲唐(tang)風(feng)(feng),并(bing)且結構獨特(te)(te),可謂我國古代(dai)(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)中(zhong)(zhong)一枝獨放的(de)奇(qi)花,具有(you)很高(gao)的(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)藝術價值。

道(dao)光《修武(wu)縣志·金石志》記(ji)載(zai)有(you)(you)兩通關于崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)石的(de)古碑(bei),一通為至正十(shi)年(nian)(1350年(nian))元代(dai)禮(li)部(bu)郎中(zhong)張(zhang)琬(wan)撰的(de)《五里(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)》(以下(xia)簡稱張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)),一通為嘉靖十(shi)三年(nian)(1534年(nian))明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)代(dai)禮(li)部(bu)侍郎何(he)瑭(tang)撰的(de)《重修五里(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)》(以下(xia)簡稱何(he)瑭(tang)碑(bei)),張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)云“茲寺(si)(si)(si),大禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師(shi)稠公之所創(chuang)”,何(he)瑭(tang)碑(bei)云“屯西(xi)南有(you)(you)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si),蓋(gai)禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師(shi)稠公之所建(jian)也(ye)”,兩碑(bei)都認為此寺(si)(si)(si)的(de)創(chuang)建(jian)者為稠禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師(shi)。稠禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師(shi),稠禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師(shi)(510~585),名慧,北朝(chao)魏齊間鄴(今河北臨漳縣西(xi))人。他(ta)是我國(guo)(guo)歷(li)史(shi)上最早有(you)(you)文獻記(ji)載(zai)的(de)佛門著(zhu)名武(wu)僧和少林(lin)寺(si)(si)(si)二(er)祖。北齊天寶七年(nian)(557年(nian)),稠禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師(shi)奉文宣帝(di)旨意,在(zai)太(tai)行(xing)山一帶沿山建(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)二(er)十(shi)多所,在(zai)天門山腰首(shou)建(jian)大護國(guo)(guo)仁王寺(si)(si)(si),即(ji)今天的(de)百(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖(yan)寺(si)(si)(si)。又(you)據(ju)(ju)張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei),其篆額(e)有(you)(you)“百(bai)巖(yan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)碑(bei),大護國(guo)(guo)仁王寺(si)(si)(si)下(xia)院(yuan)”,則知五里(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)為百(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖(yan)寺(si)(si)(si)的(de)下(xia)院(yuan),其建(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)年(nian)代(dai)也(ye)當在(zai)北齊天寶年(nian)間。據(ju)(ju)此推算,崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)已有(you)(you)1450多年(nian)的(de)歷(li)史(shi)。
崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺建成(cheng)后,因(yin)其(qi)(qi)位(wei)于縣城(cheng)和百(bai)(bai)家(jia)巖(yan)正中,且(qie)是(shi)(shi)縣城(cheng)去百(bai)(bai)家(jia)巖(yan)的必(bi)經之處,因(yin)此無(wu)論善男信女(nv)還(huan)是(shi)(shi)文人騷客,慕名(ming)前(qian)往百(bai)(bai)家(jia)巖(yan)的,無(wu)不先(xian)到崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺或先(xian)禮佛,或作(zuo)小憩,又因(yin)這里(li)風景(jing)絕(jue)佳,由此崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺之名(ming)大噪,遂成(cheng)一處名(ming)剎兼(jian)名(ming)勝。張琬碑稱其(qi)(qi)“負太行而(er)揖嵩少,東(dong)(dong)連乎蘇門、百(bai)(bai)泉(quan)之幽勝,西(xi)接(jie)乎濟水(shui)、盤(pan)谷之清(qing)雅,風氣(qi)淳淑,民(min)物繁伙,加以(yi)水(shui)竹(zhu)之明(ming)秀,村落之旁午,稻塍(cheng)蔬(shu)圃,雞犬相聞,故(gu)高人勝士聯(lian)鏕并(bing)駕,游(you)詠不乏,盛境(jing)振(zhen)名(ming)于懷衛”,贊其(qi)(qi)為(wei)“實中土之杰區,空(kong)門之福地”,而(er)何瑭碑則記其(qi)(qi)“北負太行,東(dong)(dong)連百(bai)(bai)泉(quan),西(xi)去海蟾(chan)宮里(li)許,宮之前(qian)有泉(quan)涌出(chu),下流(liu)寺側(ce),蓋寧城(cheng)之勝地也”。
崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)代有(you)(you)修(xiu)葺,有(you)(you)明(ming)確記(ji)(ji)載(zai)的有(you)(you):至正年(nian)(nian)(nian)間,住(zhu)持(chi)(chi)僧(seng)因(yin)資(zi)、因(yin)全(quan)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)。因(yin)資(zi)俗(su)姓(xing)霍氏(shi),河(he)內(nei)(nei)人(ren),出家于(yu)河(he)內(nei)(nei)天圣(sheng)院;因(yin)全(quan),俗(su)姓(xing)師氏(shi),清華(hua)人(ren),為(wei)(wei)因(yin)資(zi)師弟(di),因(yin)資(zi)圓寂后(hou)繼任本寺(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)(chi)。此次重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)時(shi)的翰(han)林文字同知(zhi)兼國(guo)史(shi)院編修(xiu)官(guan)奉議大(da)夫禮部郎中(zhong)張琬(wan)為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)作記(ji)(ji)。明(ming)代成化年(nian)(nian)(nian)間,僧(seng)官(guan)祥俊(jun)及(ji)(ji)其弟(di)子妙(miao)淳、妙(miao)慶重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)時(shi)的河(he)南按察使楊徽為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)作記(ji)(ji);嘉靖(jing)二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1523年(nian)(nian)(nian)),由(you)當(dang)(dang)地(di)耆老(lao)(lao)杭鑒及(ji)(ji)其子杭彪州捐銀(yin)一(yi)百(bai)兩及(ji)(ji)當(dang)(dang)地(di)信(xin)士共同資(zi)助,本寺(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)(chi)廣堅、清應等主持(chi)(chi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu),歷(li)時(shi)兩年(nian)(nian)(nian)半,于(yu)嘉靖(jing)四年(nian)(nian)(nian)十(shi)月完工,重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)建(jian)雷音殿五(wu)間、伽藍殿三間、東(dong)西(xi)方丈六(liu)間。此次重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)時(shi)的禮部右侍郎何瑭為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)作記(ji)(ji)。另(ling)據道光《修(xiu)武(wu)縣志(zhi)·寺(si)(si)觀(guan)附(fu)》記(ji)(ji)載(zai),百(bai)家巖(yan)寺(si)(si)曾一(yi)度傾廢,其僧(seng)眾皆居于(yu)五(wu)里(li)源(yuan)之(zhi)(zhi)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si),由(you)此可見當(dang)(dang)時(shi)崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)規(gui)模之(zhi)(zhi)盛。但(dan)至道光年(nian)(nian)(nian)間,雖然該(gai)寺(si)(si)頗具“花木竹(zhu)柏(bo)之(zhi)(zhi)勝”,但(dan)已(yi)墻(qiang)垣頹敗,寺(si)(si)僧(seng)寥(liao)落無存。其后(hou)有(you)(you)無重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu),不得而知(zhi)。2001年(nian)(nian)(nian),五(wu)里(li)源(yuan)村有(you)(you)心之(zhi)(zhi)士根據當(dang)(dang)地(di)老(lao)(lao)年(nian)(nian)(nian)人(ren)的回憶,繪(hui)制了民國(guo)時(shi)期(qi)的崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)示意圖,閱圖可知(zhi),當(dang)(dang)年(nian)(nian)(nian)的崇(chong)(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)有(you)(you)山門一(yi)間,東(dong)西(xi)廊廡各五(wu)間,中(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿三間,大(da)佛(fo)(fo)殿五(wu)間,中(zhong)佛(fo)(fo)殿東(dong)南有(you)(you)鐘(zhong)樓一(yi)座,大(da)佛(fo)(fo)殿東(dong)側有(you)(you)觀(guan)音殿一(yi)間,觀(guan)音殿還有(you)(you)地(di)下室,另(ling)有(you)(you)東(dong)西(xi)配殿各五(wu)間,最后(hou)為(wei)(wei)僧(seng)房十(shi)一(yi)間。當(dang)(dang)地(di)百(bai)姓(xing)傳(chuan)說,廟中(zhong)大(da)殿梁上(shang)雖然長年(nian)(nian)(nian)無人(ren)打掃,卻從無積塵,也無本寺(si)(si)一(yi)奇。
據現在(zai)主持募修的(de)(de)五里源信(xin)徒郝(hao)小具說,此(ci)寺(si)(si)在(zai)日偽時期被(bei)徹底拆除,用于修建本村炮樓(lou)和碉堡。上(shang)世紀六十(shi)年代初,國(guo)家加強基層醫(yi)療衛生機(ji)構建設,五里源公(gong)社(she)在(zai)原(yuan)崇明寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)廢址上(shang)興建了公(gong)社(she)衛生院,原(yuan)來寺(si)(si)院的(de)(de)碑(bei)刻也(ye)散落各(ge)處。十(shi)一屆三中全會后,宗教政策(ce)得到落實,當地善男(nan)信(xin)女開始(shi)籌(chou)劃重建崇明寺(si)(si)。九十(shi)年代后期,信(xin)眾(zhong)集資購買了鄉衛生院后院作為安(an)神(shen)之所,原(yuan)碑(bei)刻文物也(ye)逐漸被(bei)找回,其中就有著名的(de)(de)唐代佛(fo)頂(ding)尊勝(sheng)陀羅尼經幢和北宋魯遷(qian)之詩碣。
