歷史由來
惠愛橋(qiao)始建于(yu)明代(dai)正德年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)(公(gong)元1506年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)以后(hou)(hou)),嗣后(hou)(hou)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)久橋(qiao)記,經崇楨8年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1635年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian))、清(qing)康熙(xi)18年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1679年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian))、乾隆(long)2年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1737年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian))多次重(zhong)修,光(guang)緒13年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1887年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian))毀于(yu)火。清(qing)宣(xuan)(xuan)統元年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1909年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian))廉(lian)州(zhou)紳商募款重(zhong)修,宣(xuan)(xuan)統 3年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1911年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian))落成現橋(qiao)。據(ju)說橋(qiao)為當地泥水(shui)工匠出身的蔣邑雍設計并承(cheng)包施(shi)工。
橋體結構
惠(hui)(hui)愛橋(qiao)為(wei)東西走向,為(wei)三鉸拱人字架結(jie)(jie)構,拱腳支(zhi)撐在兩岸石(shi)砌的欖核形橋(qiao)墩幄(wo)上(shang)(shang),橋(qiao)墩旁還設(she)有磚砌弧拱式泄(xie)水孔,橋(qiao)全部為(wei)木(mu)質(zhi)結(jie)(jie)構。木(mu)料是來自印尼(ni)產的坤甸木(mu),質(zhi)堅而耐(nai)腐(fu)。惠(hui)(hui)愛橋(qiao)在建造之(zhi)初,只有跨(kua)(kua)中的上(shang)(shang)下(xia)節點及拱腳節點設(she)角鋼夾(jia)板,其(qi)余(yu)部分均無(wu)任何(he)鐵器,民國年間才在其(qi)他受(shou)力(li)點加角鋼夾(jia)板。惠(hui)(hui)愛橋(qiao)跨(kua)(kua)度為(wei)26米,凈跨(kua)(kua)度為(wei)18.4米,橋(qiao)面(mian)寬2.75米,橋(qiao)掩體高(gao)5.64米,橋(qiao)頂覆蓋瓦面(mian),以防雨水從桿件的上(shang)(shang)端滲入。整座橋(qiao)的結(jie)(jie)構和設(she)計(ji)實在巧奪天工。
