《圣(sheng)善夜（O Holy Night）》是(shi)一(yi)首(shou)著名的圣(sheng)誕頌歌，被(bei)認(ren)為(wei)是(shi)歷史上第(di)一(yi)首(shou)被(bei)廣播播放的音樂作(zuo)品，由阿道(dao)夫·亞當于1847年(nian)為(wei)法(fa)文詩歌《Minuit, chrétiens（午夜，基督徒）》譜曲創作(zuo)。
該(gai)詩歌的作(zuo)者(zhe)普(pu)拉西德·卡波（Placide Cappeau）（1880-1887）是個(ge)葡(pu)萄酒商，同(tong)時也是個(ge)詩人。他在一(yi)位教(jiao)區神父(fu)的請求(qiu)下寫了這首詩歌。
一神論牧師約(yue)翰·沙利文·德懷特(te)，《德懷特(te)音樂報》的創立(li)者，在1955年將其(qi)翻譯(yi)為英文。
