蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)區第(di)九(jiu)高(gao)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的前身是蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)縣義盛(sheng)初級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue),始建于1958年(nian)9月。1972年(nian),學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)按照(zhao)政府部門(men)辦學(xue)(xue)要求改名為蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)縣義盛(sheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)),1988年(nian),蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)撤縣設市,學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)改名為蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)市義盛(sheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong))。1995年(nian),學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)被(bei)上級政府部門(men)命(ming)名為蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)市第(di)九(jiu)高(gao)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue),之(zhi)后學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)一直探(tan)(tan)索綜(zong)合教育(yu)實踐探(tan)(tan)究。1998年(nian)3月,學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)被(bei)浙(zhe)江省(sheng)教育(yu)廳(ting)認(ren)定命(ming)名為浙(zhe)江省(sheng)省(sheng)級綜(zong)合高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。1999年(nian)6月,學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)與原蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)市南陽(yang)職(zhi)業高(gao)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)合并,校(xiao)名仍為蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)市第(di)九(jiu)高(gao)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)。2001年(nian),蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)撤市設區,學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)改名為蕭(xiao)山(shan)(shan)區第(di)九(jiu)高(gao)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)。2002年(nian)學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)被(bei)浙(zhe)江省(sheng)教育(yu)廳(ting)認(ren)定命(ming)名為浙(zhe)江省(sheng)二級重點高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。2016年(nian),學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)被(bei)評為省(sheng)二級特(te)色示(shi)范普通(tong)高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。

截(jie)止于(yu)2014年(nian)(nian),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)現有班級36個,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)1518人(ren)(ren),在編教(jiao)職(zhi)工165人(ren)(ren)。2014年(nian)(nian)8月(yue)因杭州(zhou)(zhou)市大江(jiang)(jiang)東產(chan)業集(ji)(ji)聚區(qu)(qu)的(de)成(cheng)立,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)脫離蕭(xiao)山(shan)區(qu)(qu),正式歸(gui)杭州(zhou)(zhou)主城區(qu)(qu);2019年(nian)(nian)大江(jiang)(jiang)東產(chan)業集(ji)(ji)聚區(qu)(qu)和杭州(zhou)(zhou)經濟(ji)開發區(qu)(qu)合并(bing)成(cheng)立錢(qian)塘新(xin)(xin)區(qu)(qu),蕭(xiao)山(shan)九中被正式命(ming)名為杭州(zhou)(zhou)第(di)四中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)教(jiao)育集(ji)(ji)團錢(qian)塘學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)新(xin)(xin)址位于(yu)新(xin)(xin)區(qu)(qu)大江(jiang)(jiang)東片區(qu)(qu)中心,義蓬街(jie)道辦事(shi)處西邊(bian),占地(di)約140畝,總投資達1.43億(yi)。
