民(min)(min)國(guo)二十(shi)七年(nian),中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共地下黨員(yuan)潘(pan)(pan)振(zhen)武(wu)在講習所校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)址(zhi)創(chuang)辦宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)私(si)立(li)戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),民(min)(min)國(guo)二十(shi)八(ba)年(nian),縣(xian)(xian)政府創(chuang)辦宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)(xian)立(li)戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)初(chu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)生(sheng)初(chu)習學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao),同(tong)年(nian)兩校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)合并為(wei)(wei)(wei)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)(xian)立(li)戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)初(chu)級(ji)(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)。民(min)(min)國(guo)二十(shi)九年(nian),戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)初(chu)級(ji)(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)在日(ri)寇入(ru)(ru)(ru)侵的戰(zhan)(zhan)亂中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)遷址(zhi)城北臺(tai)山寺(si)和靜(jing)妙寺(si),民(min)(min)國(guo)三十(shi)年(nian),本(ben)(ben)址(zhi)又創(chuang)辦宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)簡易師范,潘(pan)(pan)振(zhen)武(wu)主持校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)務。民(min)(min)國(guo)三十(shi)一年(nian),日(ri)軍掃蕩浙(zhe)江(jiang)腹地,省部分機關學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)南遷宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping),僅學(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)就有杭州清華中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)、紹興(xing)稽(ji)山中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)、金華師范等(deng),為(wei)(wei)(wei)安置全省各地淪陷區(qu)逃亡學(xue)生(sheng),省教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)廳在宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)創(chuang)辦浙(zhe)東(dong)(dong)第二臨(lin)時(shi)(shi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),同(tong)年(nian)9月(yue)本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)并入(ru)(ru)(ru)浙(zhe)東(dong)(dong)第二臨(lin)時(shi)(shi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)辦學(xue),戰(zhan)(zhan)亂中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)一時(shi)(shi)興(xing)盛。1949年(nian)5月(yue),宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)解放,1946年(nian)創(chuang)辦的宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)私(si)立(li)普育(yu)初(chu)級(ji)(ji)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)并入(ru)(ru)(ru)本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。1958年(nian)2月(yue)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)撤(che)縣(xian)(xian),本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)改稱武(wu)義第二中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue),同(tong)年(nian)首次招收(shou)高(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)新(xin)生(sheng),本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)成為(wei)(wei)(wei)完全中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)。1961年(nian),武(wu)義從永康分出(chu)恢(hui)復縣(xian)(xian)制,本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)定名為(wei)(wei)(wei)“浙(zhe)江(jiang)省武(wu)義縣(xian)(xian)第二中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)。”
本(ben)校(xiao)所在的(de)(de)(de)柳城畬族(zu)鎮(zhen),從明朝(chao)景(jing)泰三(san)年(nian)(1452)至1958年(nian)為(wei)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)治(zhi)所在地,校(xiao)址身處革(ge)命老(lao)區(qu)(qu)、少數民(min)族(zu)地區(qu)(qu)和貧(pin)困山區(qu)(qu),師(shi)生(sheng)“苦教”、“苦學”之風長期(qi)名聲在外(wai)。學校(xiao)首批(pi)學生(sheng)就(jiu)培(pei)(pei)養出(chu)潘漠華、吳謙等(deng)“五(wu)·四”新(xin)文化運動先(xian)驅和革(ge)命烈士,在整個民(min)國(guo)(guo)和抗戰時期(qi),本(ben)校(xiao)貫徹“教育(yu)救國(guo)(guo)”方針,一(yi)直是愛國(guo)(guo)青年(nian)、進步人士和地下黨員(yuan)活(huo)動成(cheng)長的(de)(de)(de)搖籃,毫(hao)無疑(yi)問(wen),武(wu)義二(er)中為(wei)原(yuan)(yuan)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)的(de)(de)(de)文明進步和解放事(shi)業(ye)(ye)做出(chu)了(le)突出(chu)貢獻。1958年(nian)至今(jin),本(ben)校(xiao)生(sheng)源除(chu)原(yuan)(yuan)宣(xuan)(xuan)平(ping)縣(xian)(xian)(xian)柳城、上坦(tan)、桃溪3區(qu)(qu)各鄉(xiang)鎮(zhen)9萬多畬漢子(zi)女外(wai),還覆蓋武(wu)義、麗水、遂昌、松陽、永康、溫州等(deng)地,1961年(nian),二(er)中首批(pi)高(gao)(gao)中畢業(ye)(ye)生(sheng)參(can)加(jia)高(gao)(gao)考(kao),成(cheng)績名列浙江全省第9名。1977年(nian)恢復高(gao)(gao)考(kao)后(hou)也一(yi)度輝(hui)煌,特(te)別是人文教育(yu)曾享譽全縣(xian)(xian)(xian)和周(zhou)邊縣(xian)(xian)(xian)市(shi),辦(ban)學90年(nian)來已培(pei)(pei)養出(chu)2萬多名合格和優秀畢業(ye)(ye)生(sheng),其中恢復高(gao)(gao)考(kao)后(hou)輸送的(de)(de)(de)畢業(ye)(ye)生(sheng)成(cheng)為(wei)副教授以(yi)上的(de)(de)(de)科(ke)學家(jia)、學者(zhe)就(jiu)有100多人。社會(hui)廣(guang)泛(fan)稱
