民(min)國(guo)二(er)(er)(er)(er)十(shi)七年(nian)(nian)(nian),中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共地(di)下(xia)黨員潘(pan)振(zhen)武(wu)在講(jiang)習所校(xiao)(xiao)址(zhi)創(chuang)(chuang)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)宣平(ping)(ping)私(si)立戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue),民(min)國(guo)二(er)(er)(er)(er)十(shi)八年(nian)(nian)(nian),縣政(zheng)府創(chuang)(chuang)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)宣平(ping)(ping)縣立戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)初(chu)(chu)(chu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)初(chu)(chu)(chu)習學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao),同(tong)年(nian)(nian)(nian)兩(liang)校(xiao)(xiao)合并(bing)為宣平(ping)(ping)縣立戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)初(chu)(chu)(chu)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)。民(min)國(guo)二(er)(er)(er)(er)十(shi)九(jiu)年(nian)(nian)(nian),戰(zhan)(zhan)時(shi)(shi)初(chu)(chu)(chu)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)在日寇(kou)入侵的(de)(de)戰(zhan)(zhan)亂中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)遷址(zhi)城北臺山(shan)寺和靜妙寺,民(min)國(guo)三(san)十(shi)年(nian)(nian)(nian),本(ben)(ben)址(zhi)又創(chuang)(chuang)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)宣平(ping)(ping)簡(jian)易師(shi)范,潘(pan)振(zhen)武(wu)主持校(xiao)(xiao)務。民(min)國(guo)三(san)十(shi)一年(nian)(nian)(nian),日軍掃蕩浙(zhe)江腹(fu)地(di),省(sheng)(sheng)部分(fen)(fen)機關學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)南(nan)遷宣平(ping)(ping),僅學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)就有(you)杭州清華中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)、紹興稽山(shan)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)、金華師(shi)范等,為安置全省(sheng)(sheng)各地(di)淪陷(xian)區逃亡(wang)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng),省(sheng)(sheng)教育廳在宣平(ping)(ping)創(chuang)(chuang)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)浙(zhe)東第(di)二(er)(er)(er)(er)臨(lin)時(shi)(shi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue),同(tong)年(nian)(nian)(nian)9月本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)并(bing)入浙(zhe)東第(di)二(er)(er)(er)(er)臨(lin)時(shi)(shi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue),戰(zhan)(zhan)亂中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)宣平(ping)(ping)教育一時(shi)(shi)興盛。1949年(nian)(nian)(nian)5月,宣平(ping)(ping)解放,1946年(nian)(nian)(nian)創(chuang)(chuang)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)的(de)(de)宣平(ping)(ping)私(si)立普(pu)育初(chu)(chu)(chu)級中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)并(bing)入本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)。1958年(nian)(nian)(nian)2月宣平(ping)(ping)撤縣,本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)改稱(cheng)武(wu)義第(di)二(er)(er)(er)(er)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue),同(tong)年(nian)(nian)(nian)首次(ci)招(zhao)收高中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)新生(sheng),本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)成為完全中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)。1961年(nian)(nian)(nian),武(wu)義從(cong)永康分(fen)(fen)出恢復(fu)縣制,本(ben)(ben)校(xiao)(xiao)定(ding)名為“浙(zhe)江省(sheng)(sheng)武(wu)義縣第(di)二(er)(er)(er)(er)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)。”
本(ben)(ben)校所(suo)在(zai)的(de)柳城畬(yu)族(zu)(zu)鎮,從明(ming)朝景(jing)泰三(san)年(nian)(nian)(1452)至1958年(nian)(nian)為宣平縣(xian)(xian)縣(xian)(xian)治所(suo)在(zai)地(di)(di),校址身處革命(ming)老(lao)區(qu)(qu)、少數民族(zu)(zu)地(di)(di)區(qu)(qu)和(he)貧困山(shan)區(qu)(qu),師生(sheng)“苦教”、“苦學(xue)(xue)(xue)”之風長(chang)期名聲(sheng)在(zai)外。學(xue)(xue)(xue)校首批學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)就培養出潘漠華、吳謙(qian)等(deng)“五(wu)·四”新文(wen)化運動先(xian)驅和(he)革命(ming)烈(lie)士,在(zai)整個民國(guo)(guo)和(he)抗戰時期,本(ben)(ben)校貫徹“教育(yu)救(jiu)國(guo)(guo)”方針(zhen),一(yi)直是(shi)愛國(guo)(guo)青年(nian)(nian)、進步(bu)人(ren)士和(he)地(di)(di)下黨(dang)員活動成長(chang)的(de)搖籃,毫(hao)無(wu)疑問,武義二中為原宣平縣(xian)(xian)的(de)文(wen)明(ming)進步(bu)和(he)解放事業做出了突出貢獻。1958年(nian)(nian)至今,本(ben)(ben)校生(sheng)源除原宣平縣(xian)(xian)柳城、上坦、桃溪3區(qu)(qu)各(ge)鄉鎮9萬(wan)多(duo)畬(yu)漢子(zi)女外,還覆蓋武義、麗水、遂(sui)昌(chang)、松陽、永康、溫州等(deng)地(di)(di),1961年(nian)(nian),二中首批高中畢業生(sheng)參加高考(kao),成績名列(lie)浙江全省(sheng)第9名。1977年(nian)(nian)恢復高考(kao)后(hou)也(ye)一(yi)度輝煌,特別(bie)是(shi)人(ren)文(wen)教育(yu)曾(ceng)享譽全縣(xian)(xian)和(he)周邊縣(xian)(xian)市,辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)90年(nian)(nian)來(lai)已培養出2萬(wan)多(duo)名合格和(he)優秀畢業生(sheng),其中恢復高考(kao)后(hou)輸送(song)的(de)畢業生(sheng)成為副教授(shou)以(yi)上的(de)科(ke)學(xue)(xue)(xue)家、學(xue)(xue)(xue)者就有100多(duo)人(ren)。社會廣泛稱
