永(yong)和中學(xue)地(di)處于(yu)素有“中國石材(cai)之(zhi)鄉(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)” 的晉(jin)江(jiang)市(shi)永(yong)和鎮區,創辦(ban)于(yu)1956年(nian)。1995年(nian)夏(xia)遷進現址。1999年(nian)復辦(ban)高中。校園占地(di)130畝(mu),建(jian)筑面積(ji)27258.8㎡,生(sheng)均11.3㎡,綠化面積(ji)9111㎡,生(sheng)均3.76㎡。整體規劃科學(xue),布局合理,環境整潔優美,硬件設施(shi)配(pei)套齊全。永(yong)和鎮地(di)處晉(jin)江(jiang)市(shi)中南部,東鄰著名僑(qiao)鄉(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)石獅(shi)市(shi)8公(gong)里,南近深滬、金井對臺貿(mao)易萬噸級碼(ma)頭15公(gong)里,北(bei)臨晉(jin)江(jiang)機場(chang)16公(gong)里,西接福泉(quan)廈高速(su)公(gong)路入口(kou)處15公(gong)里;全鎮土地(di)面積(ji)50平(ping)方(fang)公(gong)里,其中耕地(di)2.8萬畝(mu),紅(hong)壤埔地(di)1.2萬畝(mu)。永(yong)和鎮以(yi)盛產(chan)石材(cai)聞名,優質花崗巖資(zi)源儲(chu)量1.5億立方(fang)米以(yi)上,2003年(nian)5月被中國石材(cai)工業協(xie)會(hui)授予“石材(cai)之(zhi)鄉(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)”榮譽稱號。

2002- 2004 年我(wo)校(xiao)先后被評為(wei)泉州市(shi)(shi)先進(jin)教工之家(jia)、晉(jin)江市(shi)(shi)先進(jin)基(ji)層黨組(zu)織、晉(jin)江市(shi)(shi)校(xiao)務公(gong)開先進(jin)單位。

學(xue)(xue)(xue)校現(xian)有(you)實驗(yan)樓(lou)、圖(tu)書樓(lou)、食(shi)堂各1幢(chuang),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)樓(lou)、學(xue)(xue)(xue)生宿(su)舍樓(lou)各2幢(chuang),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)工宿(su)舍樓(lou)3幢(chuang)。同(tong)時(shi),學(xue)(xue)(xue)校還(huan)多(duo)方籌資,加速現(xian)代教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)設(she)(she)備配(pei)套(tao)建設(she)(she),建成了“8室(shi)(shi)1網(wang)”(電(dian)腦(nao)室(shi)(shi)2室(shi)(shi)、語音(yin)室(shi)(shi)2室(shi)(shi)、多(duo)媒體電(dian)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)室(shi)(shi)2室(shi)(shi)、多(duo)功能(neng)梯形(xing)電(dian)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)室(shi)(shi)1室(shi)(shi)、教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)電(dian)子備課室(shi)(shi)1室(shi)(shi)、校園網(wang))。按Ⅰ類(lei)標準(zhun)配(pei)備了實驗(yan)室(shi)(shi)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)儀器(qi)設(she)(she)備。圖(tu)書館藏書7.7萬(wan)冊(ce)(近三年,每年生均(jun)增書達7冊(ce))。另外,學(xue)(xue)(xue)校有(you)標準(zhun)田徑運(yun)動場1個,籃球場5個,音(yin)、體、美、勞技(ji)等(deng)器(qi)材均(jun)按三級達標要求配(pei)置(zhi)。
