永(yong)和中(zhong)學地(di)處于素有“中(zhong)國石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)材(cai)之(zhi)(zhi)鄉(xiang)” 的晉江(jiang)市永(yong)和鎮區,創辦(ban)于1956年。1995年夏遷進現址。1999年復辦(ban)高中(zhong)。校園(yuan)占地(di)130畝,建筑(zhu)面積(ji)27258.8㎡,生均(jun)11.3㎡,綠化(hua)面積(ji)9111㎡,生均(jun)3.76㎡。整體規劃科學,布局合理,環境整潔優美(mei),硬件設施配套齊全。永(yong)和鎮地(di)處晉江(jiang)市中(zhong)南部,東鄰(lin)著名(ming)僑鄉(xiang)石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)獅(shi)市8公(gong)里(li),南近深滬(hu)、金(jin)井對臺貿易萬噸級(ji)碼頭(tou)15公(gong)里(li),北臨晉江(jiang)機場16公(gong)里(li),西接福泉(quan)廈高速公(gong)路(lu)入口處15公(gong)里(li);全鎮土地(di)面積(ji)50平方(fang)(fang)公(gong)里(li),其中(zhong)耕(geng)地(di)2.8萬畝,紅壤埔(pu)地(di)1.2萬畝。永(yong)和鎮以(yi)(yi)盛產石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)材(cai)聞名(ming),優質花崗巖資源儲量1.5億立方(fang)(fang)米以(yi)(yi)上,2003年5月被中(zhong)國石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)材(cai)工業協會(hui)授予“石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)材(cai)之(zhi)(zhi)鄉(xiang)”榮(rong)譽稱(cheng)號。

2002- 2004 年(nian)我校先(xian)后被評為泉州(zhou)市(shi)先(xian)進教工之家(jia)、晉(jin)(jin)江市(shi)先(xian)進基(ji)層(ceng)黨組織(zhi)、晉(jin)(jin)江市(shi)校務(wu)公開先(xian)進單位。
從1999年復(fu)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)高中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)以(yi)來,學(xue)校(xiao)抓住(zhu)這一歷史機遇,堅持(chi) “三個面向(xiang)”辦(ban)(ban)(ban)學(xue)方向(xiang),全面貫徹落實黨(dang)和(he)(he)國家(jia)的(de)(de)教育(yu)方針,確(que)立了(le)(le)“自主、和(he)(he)諧、競爭、超越(yue)”的(de)(de)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)學(xue)理念和(he)(he)“培養可持(chi)續(xu)發(fa)展的(de)(de)人(ren)——十年后(hou)(hou)看(kan)我永(yong)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)師(shi)生”的(de)(de)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)學(xue)目標。在各(ge)級(ji)黨(dang)委政府、主管(guan)部門(men)和(he)(he)社會各(ge)界(jie)的(de)(de)關心支持(chi)下,本著“夯實初(chu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)基礎,做大(da)(da)做強(qiang)高中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”的(de)(de)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)學(xue)思路,全體(ti)師(shi)生奮發(fa)有為,開拓進(jin)(jin)取(qu),辦(ban)(ban)(ban)學(xue)水(shui)平連上(shang)新(xin)臺階。復(fu)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)高中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)以(yi)來,學(xue)校(xiao)先(xian)(xian)(xian)后(hou)(hou)獲得(de)了(le)(le)晉(jin)江(jiang)市(shi)綠色學(xue)校(xiao)、晉(jin)江(jiang)市(shi)科技示范校(xiao)、晉(jin)江(jiang)市(shi)先(xian)(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)基層(ceng)黨(dang)組織、泉(quan)州(zhou)市(shi)先(xian)(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)教工(gong)之(zhi)家(jia)、 泉(quan)州(zhou)市(shi)素質教育(yu)工(gong)作(zuo)先(xian)(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)校(xiao)、泉(quan)州(zhou)市(shi)課改工(gong)作(zuo)先(xian)(xian)(xian)進(jin)(jin)校(xiao)等30余項(xiang)集體(ti)榮譽(yu)。晉(jin)江(jiang)電視(shi)臺、晉(jin)江(jiang)教育(yu)信(xin)息網(wang)、泉(quan)州(zhou)電視(shi)臺、《泉(quan)州(zhou)晚報(bao)》、《泉(quan)州(zhou)教育(yu)周刊》、《福建教育(yu)》、《福建論(lun)壇》等新(xin)聞媒體(ti)先(xian)(xian)(xian)后(hou)(hou)多次(ci)報(bao)道我校(xiao)的(de)(de)辦(ban)(ban)(ban)學(xue)經驗。永(yong)和(he)(he)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)正以(yi)其(qi)嶄新(xin)的(de)(de)面貌和(he)(he)強(qiang)大(da)(da)的(de)(de)發(fa)展后(hou)(hou)勁展現在晉(jin)江(jiang)人(ren)民面前。
學(xue)校(xiao)現有實(shi)驗樓、圖(tu)(tu)書樓、食堂各(ge)1幢(chuang),教(jiao)學(xue)樓、學(xue)生宿舍(she)(she)樓各(ge)2幢(chuang),教(jiao)工宿舍(she)(she)樓3幢(chuang)。同(tong)時(shi),學(xue)校(xiao)還多(duo)方籌資,加速現代教(jiao)育設備配(pei)套(tao)建設,建成了“8室(shi)(shi)(shi)1網(wang)”(電(dian)(dian)(dian)腦室(shi)(shi)(shi)2室(shi)(shi)(shi)、語音室(shi)(shi)(shi)2室(shi)(shi)(shi)、多(duo)媒體(ti)電(dian)(dian)(dian)教(jiao)室(shi)(shi)(shi)2室(shi)(shi)(shi)、多(duo)功能梯(ti)形電(dian)(dian)(dian)教(jiao)室(shi)(shi)(shi)1室(shi)(shi)(shi)、教(jiao)師電(dian)(dian)(dian)子(zi)備課室(shi)(shi)(shi)1室(shi)(shi)(shi)、校(xiao)園網(wang))。按(an)Ⅰ類標(biao)(biao)準配(pei)備了實(shi)驗室(shi)(shi)(shi)教(jiao)學(xue)儀器設備。圖(tu)(tu)書館(guan)藏書7.7萬(wan)冊(近三年,每年生均增(zeng)書達7冊)。另外,學(xue)校(xiao)有標(biao)(biao)準田徑運(yun)動場1個,籃球場5個,音、體(ti)、美、勞技等(deng)器材(cai)均按(an)三級達標(biao)(biao)要求配(pei)置(zhi)。
