Hong 10這個(ge)名(ming)(ming)字(zi)(zi)(zi)源于韓(han)(han)語(yu)的(de)(de)同音異(yi)義字(zi)(zi)(zi)和英語(yu)的(de)(de)雙關語(yu)以(yi)及(ji)俏皮(pi)話。他(ta)名(ming)(ming)字(zi)(zi)(zi)的(de)(de)第三個(ge)字(zi)(zi)(zi)，Yeol，和韓(han)(han)語(yu)中數字(zi)(zi)(zi)10的(de)(de)發音一樣(yang)。所以(yi)，“Hong 10”在(zai)韓(han)(han)語(yu)中的(de)(de)發音和他(ta)真名(ming)(ming)的(de)(de)發音，Hong-Yeol，是(shi)一樣(yang)的(de)(de)。但(dan)是(shi)，這個(ge)綽號諢名(ming)(ming)在(zai)英語(yu)中也是(shi)這樣(yang)發音，所以(yi)他(ta)更趨向于用(yong)(yong)Hong-Ten而(er)不(bu)管語(yu)言名(ming)(ming)詞的(de)(de)用(yong)(yong)法——不(bu)管是(shi)韓(han)(han)語(yu)英語(yu)或(huo)者其他(ta)。
Hong 10曾是Expression Crew的成(cheng)員（他(ta)(ta)隨這個團體(ti)贏得了2002年Battle of the Year的團體(ti)冠(guan)軍(jun)）以(yi)及韓(han)國(guo)全明星(xing)團體(ti)Project Seoul（已經解散）的成(cheng)員，他(ta)(ta)現在已經退出Drifterz Crew，加(jia)入 Jinjo Crew，同時他(ta)(ta)仍(reng)然以(yi)單獨舞者(zhe)身份表演。
Hong 10被認(ren)為是(shi)一個(ge)一流(liu)而且全面的BBoy，他(ta)(ta)可以(yi)不(bu)斷(duan)變(bian)化著用Footwork，Freeze，Uprock/Toprock和Powermove動作壓節拍(pai)——別提在一場比賽中融合這(zhe)所(suo)有(you)是(shi)多么杰(jie)出(chu)的能力(li)了(le)。他(ta)(ta)的Breakaing街舞(wu)(wu)以(yi)連貫(guan)為特色——比如像Floorwork，sharp execution，以(yi)及標志性動作。這(zhe)所(suo)有(you)亮點不(bu)僅是(shi)他(ta)(ta)舞(wu)(wu)蹈(dao)的自(zi)然(ran)融合，也體現了(le)他(ta)(ta)的創造(zao)性。
作為BBoy，他(ta)(ta)第(di)一次聞(wen)名(ming)是在Battle of the Year和UK BBoy Championship這(zhe)兩個(ge)著(zhu)名(ming)的(de)賽事上(shang)代表(biao)韓國團體(ti)贏得了冠(guan)軍(jun)。但是，這(zhe)些名(ming)氣顯露在他(ta)(ta)的(de)個(ge)人街舞表(biao)演上(shang)，他(ta)(ta)在2002年Battle of the Year上(shang)第(di)一戰對(dui)陣(zhen)法國的(de)Vagabonds中(zhong)(zhong)創造了“Hong 10 Freeze”，這(zhe)可以(yi)輕易(yi)在YouTube上(shang)搜到。他(ta)(ta)在許多(duo)個(ge)人比(bi)賽中(zhong)(zhong)也有出色(se)表(biao)現，贏得了2006年Red Bull BC One個(ge)人冠(guan)軍(jun)，但他(ta)(ta)更被大家(jia)所熟知是在許多(duo)比(bi)賽中(zhong)(zhong)作為參加決賽的(de)人，包(bao)括三次UK BBoy Championship。
現在hong 10已經(jing)加入(ru)了Jinjo。雖(sui)然在UK Bboy Championships 2009 的比賽中(zhong)(zhong)，Hong 10 出現在Jinjo中(zhong)(zhong)，而且中(zhong)(zhong)國的有關新聞中(zhong)(zhong)也(ye)報(bao)道他是(shi)(shi)Jinjo的，但是(shi)(shi)在R16 China 2010 judges show 中(zhong)(zhong)，主持人卻介紹(shao)他是(shi)(shi)Drifterz 和Seven Commandoz，所以現在暫時(shi)不知(zhi)道他到底在哪個Crew。
Seven Commandoz是由Hong 10，Differ ，Skim，Wing，Ronnie組(zu)成的。Seven Commandoz的比賽可(ke)(ke)以(yi)在網上搜(sou)(sou)索到(dao)。當然有不同(tong)的版本你可(ke)(ke)以(yi)搜(sou)(sou)Seven Commandoz，Seven Commandos，Seven Commando都可(ke)(ke)以(yi)搜(sou)(sou)到(dao)視(shi)頻。
