泉(quan)(quan)州(zhou)(zhou)市晉(jin)(jin)光小學(xue)(xue)(xue)南俊校(xiao)區(qu)坐落在(zai)(zai)素有“海濱(bin)鄒魯”之(zhi)稱的歷史文化名(ming)城——泉(quan)(quan)州(zhou)(zhou)市中(zhong)心(xin),校(xiao)址原為(wei)清(qing)初(chu)靖海侯施瑯將(jiang)軍的花園。1750年(nian)建為(wei)清(qing)源書院(yuan),分設“澄(cheng)圃”、“涵碧”書軒。第一(yi)次國(guo)內革(ge)命(ming)(ming)戰(zhan)(zhan)爭失敗后,許(xu)多(duo)進(jin)步(bu)青年(nian)尋(xun)求“教育救國(guo)”之(zhi)路(lu),集(ji)美學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)教育推廣部在(zai)(zai)僑領陳嘉庚先(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)和校(xiao)長(chang)葉采真先(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)的關懷下,支持并資(zi)助泉(quan)(quan)州(zhou)(zhou)籍(ji)集(ji)美校(xiao)友(you)黃楷南、黃炯(jiong)森、莊垂綸、宋曉春、吳躍南等先(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)旅(lv)菲募捐,籌措資(zi)金,于(yu)1928年(nian)在(zai)(zai)原清(qing)源書院(yuan)舊址創辦(ban)(ban)晉(jin)(jin)江公(gong)(gong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)。解放戰(zhan)(zhan)爭時期,國(guo)立海疆大學(xue)(xue)(xue)不少(shao)進(jin)步(bu)學(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)在(zai)(zai)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)組(zu)織文工團、歌(ge)詠隊、詩社,從事革(ge)命(ming)(ming)活(huo)動;解放前(qian)夕(xi),地下黨員(yuan)洪尚亮先(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)、中(zhong)國(guo)民主同盟地下組(zu)織廖博厚等先(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)以教師職(zhi)業為(wei)掩護開展革(ge)命(ming)(ming)活(huo)動,為(wei)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)的歷史寫下了(le)光輝(hui)的一(yi)頁。學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)創辦(ban)(ban)以來,先(xian)后易名(ming)為(wei)晉(jin)(jin)江公(gong)(gong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)、晉(jin)(jin)光中(zhong)心(xin)學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)、晉(jin)(jin)光小學(xue)(xue)(xue)、東(dong)門小學(xue)(xue)(xue),與溫陵小學(xue)(xue)(xue)合并后又被稱為(wei)第一(yi)中(zhong)心(xin)小學(xue)(xue)(xue)、紅旗小學(xue)(xue)(xue),1983年(nian)恢復原校(xiao)名(ming)晉(jin)(jin)光小學(xue)(xue)(xue)。
