玉虛(xu)十二仙之中典型的外向型,每次(ci)會戰都是(shi)(shi)早早就(jiu)到,兩次(ci)周軍集體中毒他(ta)都來(lai)幫(bang)(bang)了(le)忙(mang)而(er)且(qie)最(zui)難得的是(shi)(shi)他(ta)每次(ci)都比玉鼎真人來(lai)得早,他(ta)可是(shi)(shi)愛(ai)出頭愛(ai)說(shuo)話(hua)的人。十絕陣被(bei)破(po),聞(wen)(wen)太(tai)(tai)師(shi)一發怒他(ta)就(jiu)跨鶴而(er)至立阻聞(wen)(wen)太(tai)(tai)師(shi)給一番勸告,只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)他(ta)的道行(xing)好(hao)(hao)像是(shi)(shi)差了(le)點,被(bei)人捉住吊了(le)一回,被(bei)馬遂金箍箍過一回,最(zui)離譜的是(shi)(shi)他(ta)被(bei)呂岳追著跑還(huan)是(shi)(shi)哪吒幫(bang)(bang)他(ta)解了(le)圍,在(zai)師(shi)侄(zhi)面前丟(diu)人這(zhe)臉(lian)可丟(diu)大了(le),他(ta)在(zai)封(feng)神演義里面沒(mei)有徒弟(di),估計以他(ta)這(zhe)本事也(ye)沒(mei)法(fa)收徒,黃龍(long)道兄(xiong)還(huan)是(shi)(shi)回洞府繼續苦苦修(xiu)煉(lian)的好(hao)(hao)!
號稱(cheng)是四無(wu)(wu)道人,無(wu)(wu)法力、無(wu)(wu)弟子、還毫無(wu)(wu)頭腦(nao),從無(wu)(wu)勝績,每戰必(bi)敗(bai)。

小說《三(san)戲(xi)(xi)白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)丹》中,黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)、呂(lv)洞(dong)賓(bin)均好女色(se),均善采(cai)(cai)補之(zhi)術。白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)丹聽了(le)呂(lv)洞(dong)賓(bin)的(de)(de)(de)調戲(xi)(xi)之(zhi)言(yan),馬上想到:“這(zhe)道(dao)(dao)士不(bu)是(shi)凡人(ren),我(wo)何不(bu)趁(chen)此盜竊他(ta)(ta)的(de)(de)(de)元(yuan)陽。”二戲(xi)(xi)白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)丹,她與(yu)呂(lv)洞(dong)賓(bin)“自(zi)夜達明(ming),兩(liang)相采(cai)(cai)戰(zhan)”,三(san)夜不(bu)能(neng)使呂(lv)洞(dong)賓(bin)走泄,于(yu)是(shi)視呂(lv)洞(dong)賓(bin)為(wei)異人(ren),“當盡己之(zhi)所(suo)(suo)長以(yi)導之(zhi),不(bu)怕(pa)他(ta)(ta)不(bu)降服(fu)(fu)”。“何仙(xian)姑暗點(dian)牡(mu)(mu)丹”:“實(shi)是(shi)奪生奇方(fang),汝得(de)之(zhi)可以(yi)駐(zhu)顏(yan)益壽,以(yi)后(hou)清心寡(gua)欲,不(bu)可貪(tan)戀紅塵(chen)。功(gong)行完滿,便(bian)可返(fan)本(ben)歸仙(xian)。”面對父親(qin)“玷污門風,有違師教”的(de)(de)(de)責難,白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)丹振(zhen)(zhen)振(zhen)(zhen)有辭:“遇見了(le)呂(lv)純陽,果是(shi)真仙(xian),與(yu)凡夫不(bu)同。臨走時賜(si)我(wo)金丹吞服(fu)(fu),以(yi)此謝絕(jue)飲食,苦(ku)志修行。以(yi)待功(gong)行完滿,他(ta)(ta)便(bian)前來度我(wo)脫離凡塵(chen)。”黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)真人(ren)“神通道(dao)(dao)業可算(suan)第(di)一(yi)(yi),屢受上帝敕封,也赴過蟠桃大會”,他(ta)(ta)與(yu)四海龍(long)(long)(long)(long)王是(shi)拜把子兄弟,“法力不(bu)小,曾(ceng)經玉帝封為(wei)真人(ren)”,出身(shen)也算(suan)顯赫。白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)丹在父親(qin)嚴(yan)命之(zhi)下不(bu)得(de)不(bu)拜黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)為(wei)師,又因不(bu)愿委身(shen)于(yu)“專一(yi)(yi)采(cai)(cai)陰(yin)補陽”的(de)(de)(de)黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)真人(ren)而縱(zong)身(shen)投入(ru)呂(lv)洞(dong)賓(bin)的(de)(de)(de)懷抱。面對同樣是(shi)采(cai)(cai)陰(yin)補陽的(de)(de)(de)黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)真人(ren),呂(lv)洞(dong)賓(bin)的(de)(de)(de)所(suo)(suo)作所(suo)(suo)為(wei)卻有點(dian)“只許(xu)州官(guan)放火,不(bu)許(xu)百(bai)姓(xing)點(dian)燈”的(de)(de)(de)味道(dao)(dao)。他(ta)(ta)一(yi)(yi)面指斥黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)真人(ren)“采(cai)(cai)陰(yin)補陽,修行非(fei)正”,并(bing)讓山雞(ji)幻(huan)化為(wei)白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)丹戲(xi)(xi)弄黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long),另(ling)一(yi)(yi)方(fang)面卻與(yu)白(bai)牡(mu)(mu)丹采(cai)(cai)戰(zhan)宴水(shui)閣;一(yi)(yi)方(fang)面因戲(xi)(xi)牡(mu)(mu)丹而失(shi)元(yuan)陽,另(ling)一(yi)(yi)方(fang)面卻用(yong)飛(fei)劍將興師問罪的(de)(de)(de)黃(huang)(huang)龍(long)(long)(long)(long)斬了(le)。
戲(xi)(xi)曲藝人(ren)把(ba)道(dao)教的(de)陰(yin)陽(yang)采補當成了(le)縱欲享樂(le)的(de)旗幟(zhi)。例如(ru),江蘇錫劇(ju)傳統劇(ju)目《三戲(xi)(xi)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)》敘蟠桃會(hui)上嫦(chang)娥(e)為(wei)八仙斟酒(jiu),呂(lv)(lv)純(chun)陽(yang)酒(jiu)酣失態。王(wang)母(mu)遷怒于嫦(chang)娥(e),謫往(wang)(wang)人(ren)間。嫦(chang)娥(e)降(jiang)生(sheng)于河南洛陽(yang)開藥(yao)鋪的(de)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)富貴家,取(qu)名(ming)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)。黃(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)人(ren),實(shi)為(wei)千年孽(nie)龍(long),借修行(xing)為(wei)名(ming),以房中術(shu)摧殘少女,以求登(deng)(deng)仙。白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)也被收做弟子,隨眾女進山(shan)采藥(yao)。呂(lv)(lv)洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)誓(shi)度牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)重(zhong)返仙境。他與柳(liu)樹精到(dao)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)藥(yao)店中買藥(yao),以謎(mi)語(yu)戲(xi)(xi)之(zhi)。白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)應對(dui)如(ru)流,心(xin)已愛戀,后(hou)與之(zhi)私通(tong)。何仙姑為(wei)助其早日登(deng)(deng)仙,授牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)素女術(shu)。黃(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)人(ren)欲對(dui)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)傳道(dao),呂(lv)(lv)洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)至(zhi)黃(huang)龍(long)洞(dong)(dong)中,以山(shan)雞化作(zuo)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)替身,將(jiang)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)攝至(zhi)龍(long)華(hua)山(shan)中,告(gao)以往(wang)(wang)事。黃(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)人(ren)聞(wen)知(zhi)后(hou)大(da)怒,邀(yao)了(le)四(si)海(hai)龍(long)王(wang)欲將(jiang)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)搶走。雙方斗(dou)法(fa)時(shi)(shi),呂(lv)(lv)純(chun)陽(yang)斬(zhan)斷藤(teng)橋,以阻來敵(di)。后(hou)黃(huang)龍(long)真(zhen)人(ren)現(xian)正身與呂(lv)(lv)相斗(dou),被呂(lv)(lv)斬(zhan)之(zhi)。牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)重(zhong)上天庭,復為(wei)嫦(chang)娥(e) 。又(you)如(ru)《戲(xi)(xi)考大(da)全》本(ben)《戲(xi)(xi)牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)》謂花牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)在(zai)天香洞(dong)(dong)師從(cong)黃(huang)龍(long)學(xue)藝,事事具備(bei),“但只是無純(chun)陽(yang),不能(neng)升天”。黃(huang)龍(long)赴龍(long)華(hua)大(da)會(hui)時(shi)(shi)曾向牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)預言“這日內定得純(chun)陽(yang)”,特意警(jing)示弟子會(hui)呂(lv)(lv)洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin);而呂(lv)(lv)純(chun)陽(yang)會(hui)見花牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)時(shi)(shi)曾自夸:“我(wo)就(jiu)是采花一散仙,今日若能(neng)夠成婚配(pei),好似那仙女會(hui)巫(wu)山(shan)。”為(wei)了(le)早得真(zhen)陽(yang)升天,牡(mu)(mu)(mu)丹(dan)(dan)縱身投入呂(lv)(lv)洞(dong)(dong)賓(bin)的(de)懷抱。從(cong)“生(sheng)比同睡式介”、“旦系裙介”等舞臺提示可知(zhi),演員甚(shen)至(zhi)在(zai)舞臺上表演巫(wu)山(shan)云雨(yu)動作(zuo)。
四川有個黃龍(long)寺,那里供奉(feng)的(de)神(shen)仙就(jiu)是黃龍(long)真(zhen)人。充滿神(shen)奇(qi)色彩(cai)的(de)黃龍(long)洞更為引人入勝,傳說此洞是黃龍(long)化身(shen)黃龍(long)真(zhen)人修煉成道之所。黃龍(long)寺記載(zai)是這樣記載(zai)他的(de)出(chu)身(shen)的(de):
“在(zai)(zai)(zai)古時洪(hong)水潮天,大(da)地(di)為一(yi)片江(jiang)洋(yang)。大(da)禹王(wang)為治(zhi)水沿(yan)岷(min)江(jiang)向(xiang)上,察視(shi)江(jiang)源,來在(zai)(zai)(zai)汶(wen)川(chuan)縣的漩口、映秀之間的江(jiang)岸,早有(you)九條(tiao)神龍(long)(long),合(he)計投奔大(da)禹王(wang);求(qiu)其封位,助禹治(zhi)水。這九龍(long)(long)見禹王(wang)察視(shi)江(jiang)源,正是好機會,就(jiu)約同去拜見他。在(zai)(zai)(zai)相遇的地(di)方(fang),九龍(long)(long)臥(wo)(wo)地(di)叩頭(tou)朝拜。大(da)禹王(wang)突然見九根大(da)蟲在(zai)(zai)(zai)前進道上攔阻,一(yi)時驚恐,喊出聲“蛇(she)!蛇(she)!蛇(she)!"為首一(yi)龍(long)(long)被謫稱為蟲類,一(yi)氣(qi)便臥(wo)(wo)地(di)而(er)死(si),調頭(tou)各(ge)奔而(er)去,黃龍(long)(long)當時就(jiu)在(zai)(zai)(zai)臥(wo)(wo)龍(long)(long)身后,它受驚回跑(pao),一(yi)直(zhi)沿(yan)岷(min)江(jiang)跑(pao)到源頭(tou),騰飛在(zai)(zai)(zai)雪(xue)寶鼎之上空,畜(chu)意(yi)發起怒火(huo),對大(da)禹進行報復。
大(da)禹(yu)王見九龍(long)死(si)逃而(er)去,繼(ji)續(xu)察(cha)(cha)視(shi)江(jiang)源,不一(yi)(yi)(yi)日來(lai)到了茂(mao)州(zhou)地方,江(jiang)面突(tu)然卷(juan)起黑浪惡風(feng)(feng),欲將大(da)禹(yu)所(suo)乘木(mu)舟掀翻(fan),正(zheng)在(zai)這(zhe)千鈞一(yi)(yi)(yi)發之(zhi)際,突(tu)然從江(jiang)面飛(fei)來(lai)金(jin)光(guang)四射(she)的黃龍(long),與黑風(feng)(feng)惡浪展開一(yi)(yi)(yi)場殊死(si)搏斗,黃龍(long)終(zhong)于獲勝,背負著大(da)禹(yu)所(suo)乘木(mu)舟,溯江(jiang)而(er)上,助禹(yu)王察(cha)(cha)得(de)了岷江(jiang)之(zhi)源。
原來是黃龍正要報(bao)(bao)復大禹(yu)(yu),忽見茂(mao)州地方江中黑(hei)風妖意害禹(yu)(yu)王,黃龍想(xiang)到大禹(yu)(yu)訝龍為(wei)蛇謫封了他們龍族,但他為(wei)民治(zhi)水(shui)不(bu)辭艱(jian)辛,認為(wei)功大于過,于是他變報(bao)(bao)仇為(wei)報(bao)(bao)恩(en),從而戰退黑(hei)風妖,助禹(yu)(yu)治(zhi)水(shui)。
后來,大禹治水(shui)(shui)成(cheng)功(gong),向天(tian)地禱告,贊黃(huang)龍助他(ta)(ta)治水(shui)(shui)有功(gong),求封為(wei)天(tian)龍。黃(huang)龍謝封,不愿升天(tian),他(ta)(ta)留戀這(zhe)岷(min)山源(yuan)頭,躲藏(zang)進(jin)原始森林中去了。后來人們(men)修廟紀(ji)念(nian),故(gu)得名(ming)黃(huang)龍寺。這(zhe)里人們(men)至今歌(ge)頌他(ta)(ta)不記私仇,顧大局,為(wei)民造福的美德(de)。”
