廣寧中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)創建(jian)(jian)于(yu)1930年8月。學(xue)(xue)校占地(di)面(mian)積84324平方米(mi)(mi),校舍建(jian)(jian)筑面(mian)積39561平方米(mi)(mi),現(xian)有(you)教(jiao)學(xue)(xue)大(da)樓(lou)(lou)、科(ke)學(xue)(xue)樓(lou)(lou)、辦(ban)公樓(lou)(lou)、學(xue)(xue)生宿舍大(da)樓(lou)(lou)、教(jiao)師宿舍樓(lou)(lou)共12幢;有(you)地(di)理園和生物園各1個;有(you)400、200米(mi)(mi)跑道運動場(chang)(chang)(chang)各1個、水泥籃球場(chang)(chang)(chang)3個、羽毛(mao)球場(chang)(chang)(chang)2個、室(shi)內體育(yu)運動場(chang)(chang)(chang)1個。科(ke)學(xue)(xue)樓(lou)(lou)內現(xian)有(you)各學(xue)(xue)科(ke)實驗(yan)室(shi)、語音實驗(yan)室(shi)、多媒(mei)體電(dian)教(jiao)室(shi)、電(dian)子閱覽室(shi)、軟(ruan)件制作(zuo)室(shi)、視控(kong)中(zhong)心、多媒(mei)體電(dian)腦室(shi)、勞技室(shi)、校史展覽室(shi)、美(mei)術室(shi)、音樂室(shi)、閱覽室(shi)、藏書(shu)室(shi)共30間,有(you)藏書(shu)96880冊,并(bing)建(jian)(jian)立(li)了校園信息網絡,建(jian)(jian)成了廣寧中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)網站(zhan),配(pei)置了7個電(dian)教(jiao)平臺。
馮肇(zhao)光(1899一1951 ),別名隱韜,今東鄉鎮黃坪里仁村(cun)人。
民國(guo)3年(1914)畢業于(yu)縣城文治學(xue)堂。秋(qiu),考入省立第(di)四(si)中學(xue)(今肇慶中學(xue))就讀。
畢業后(hou),于民國(guo)7年遠渡重洋留(liu)學法(fa)國(guo)巴(ba)黎政(zheng)治大學經(jing)濟系(xi),獲碩士學位。
民國(guo)(guo)17年回(hui)國(guo)(guo),先后任廣(guang)州中山大學(xue)法科講(jiang)師、國(guo)(guo)立廣(guang)東法學(xue)院(yuan)教授兼黃埔軍校政治教官、廣(guang)州市參議等職(zhi)。
民國19年(nian)春(chun),任省教育廳(ting)秘書、第四(si)科科長(chang)。秋,為(wei)了發展家(jia)鄉教育事(shi)業(ye),造福(fu)桑(sang)樣,毅然回到(dao)廣(guang)寧(ning)。 在籌建(jian)廣(guang)寧(ning)初級中(zhong)學(xue)時,說服(fu)鄉村父老,把(ba)潭布嚴桐的祖嘗田(tian)產(年(nian)收(shou)租谷2000石)賣掉(diao),將款捐獻給寧(ning)中(zhong)建(jian)校。
學(xue)校(xiao)建成后,出任廣寧中學(xue)校(xiao)長。任職期間,處處以身作則,與(yu)教(jiao)師(shi)同甘共(gong)苦,對學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)嚴(yan)格要求,循(xun)循(xun)善誘,深得師(shi)生(sheng)(sheng)們的愛戴。
抗日(ri)戰爭爆(bao)發,他經(jing)常組織(zhi)學生利用(yong)課余時(shi)間,深入圩鎮(zhen)、鄉村(cun),宣傳抗日(ri)救國(guo)的(de)道(dao)理,培養(yang)出不少的(de)進步同學。
民國30年調(diao)廣雅(ya)中學(廣州淪陷(xian)后遷(qian)信宜)任校長。
民國34年(nian)任(ren)省教育廳督學(xue)。次年(nian)任(ren)省銳志中學(xue)校長。
民(min)國36年(nian),競選國大代表失(shi)敗。
民國37年1—8月,任(ren)廣寧縣縣長。
次年任西江中(zhong)學校長。
廣寧中學堅持“一(yi)切(qie)為(wei)了(le)師(shi)生(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)發展(zhan)”的(de)(de)(de)(de)辦(ban)學理念,遵從(cong)“正德(de)明理,求(qiu)真(zhen)至善”的(de)(de)(de)(de)校(xiao)(xiao)訓,遵從(cong)“正德(de)明理,求(qiu)真(zhen)至善”的(de)(de)(de)(de)校(xiao)(xiao)訓,實(shi)施(shi)“依法治(zhi)校(xiao)(xiao)、以(yi)質(zhi)立校(xiao)(xiao)、創(chuang)新強(qiang)校(xiao)(xiao)、發展(zhan)興校(xiao)(xiao)”的(de)(de)(de)(de)治(zhi)校(xiao)(xiao)方(fang)略(lve),發揚“團(tuan)結進(jin)取、務實(shi)創(chuang)新、敬業奉獻”的(de)(de)(de)(de)寧中精(jing)神,以(yi)堅持社會主義(yi)辦(ban)學方(fang)向,全(quan)面(mian)推行素(su)質(zhi)教(jiao)育,培養高(gao)素(su)質(zhi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)現代人作為(wei)辦(ban)學思(si)想。按照“堅持德(de)育,加(jia)強(qiang)校(xiao)(xiao)風建設;強(qiang)化(hua)教(jiao)學管理,提(ti)高(gao)教(jiao)學質(zhi)量;多方(fang)籌措資金,改善辦(ban)學條件”的(de)(de)(de)(de)治(zhi)校(xiao)(xiao)思(si)路,全(quan)面(mian)推進(jin)學校(xiao)(xiao)各(ge)項工作。該校(xiao)(xiao)已形成了(le)文明、勤奮(fen)(fen)、務實(shi)、創(chuang)新的(de)(de)(de)(de)校(xiao)(xiao)風,敬業、善導、嚴謹、求(qiu)精(jing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)教(jiao)風和尊(zun)師(shi)、守紀、勤奮(fen)(fen)、進(jin)取的(de)(de)(de)(de)學風,成為(wei)本縣一(yi)所省(sheng)一(yi)級學校(xiao)(xiao)。
辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)八十年(nian)(nian)(nian)來,廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧(ning)(ning)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)的(de)發展日新(xin)月異,教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)質量穩步提高(gao),歷年(nian)(nian)(nian)高(gao)考(kao)均取(qu)得(de)可(ke)喜(xi)的(de)成(cheng)績(ji)。2001年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)(bei)省教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)廳評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)(dong)省一級學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”。1997年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)(bei)縣(xian)總工(gong)會(hui)(hui)評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“職業(ye)道德(de)建(jian)設十佳(jia)先(xian)進(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)集(ji)(ji)體(ti)”,1998年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)(bei)省體(ti)委(wei)評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“群眾體(ti)育(yu)(yu)先(xian)進(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)單(dan)位(wei)”,被(bei)(bei)市(shi)(shi)體(ti)委(wei)評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“貫徹(che)執行(xing)(xing)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)體(ti)育(yu)(yu)衛(wei)生工(gong)作兩(liang)個《條例》先(xian)進(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”,1999年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)(bei)肇慶(qing)市(shi)(shi)委(wei)市(shi)(shi)政府(fu)評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“依法治校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)先(xian)進(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)單(dan)位(wei)”;被(bei)(bei)縣(xian)委(wei)縣(xian)政府(fu)評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“文(wen)(wen)(wen)明(ming)(ming)單(dan)位(wei)”;2000年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)(bei)肇慶(qing)市(shi)(shi)委(wei)市(shi)(shi)政府(fu)評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“文(wen)(wen)(wen)明(ming)(ming)單(dan)位(wei)”和(he)“創建(jian)美麗(li)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園活動先(xian)進(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)單(dan)位(wei)”。同時被(bei)(bei)評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)縣(xian)“十佳(jia)職業(ye)道德(de)單(dan)位(wei)”和(he)“文(wen)(wen)(wen)明(ming)(ming)窗口(kou)(kou)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”、“花園式(shi)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”。學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)黨(dang)總支部(bu)、團委(wei)、工(gong)會(hui)(hui)、婦委(wei)獲市(shi)(shi)縣(xian)多次獎勵;從1993年(nian)(nian)(nian)開始,年(nian)(nian)(nian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)獲市(shi)(shi)“高(gao)考(kao)成(cheng)績(ji)優秀獎”。1998年(nian)(nian)(nian)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)節前夕,在縣(xian)人民政府(fu)召開的(de)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)座(zuo)談會(hui)(hui)上,原縣(xian)委(wei)書記彭錦泉(quan)同志向教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)局領導提議(yi),號召全縣(xian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)小學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)向廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧(ning)(ning)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)。之后,廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧(ning)(ning)縣(xian)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)局作出(chu)《關于開展向廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧(ning)(ning)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)活動的(de)決定(ding)》。在這《決定(ding)》中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),特別指出(chu):“近(jin)幾年(nian)(nian)(nian)來,廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧(ning)(ning)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)全面貫徹(che)黨(dang)的(de)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)方針,堅持社會(hui)(hui)主(zhu)義辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)方向,積極推行(xing)(xing)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)改革,重(zhong)視領導班子(zi)建(jian)設,抓好(hao)師(shi)德(de)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu),嚴格學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)管理(li),優化(hua)育(yu)(yu)人環境,實施素質教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)各項工(gong)作都取(qu)得(de)了輝煌的(de)成(cheng)績(ji)”。2002年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)(bei)廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)(dong)省考(kao)試中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心定(ding)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)(dong)省全國教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)統一考(kao)試定(ding)點考(kao)場”。2003年(nian)(nian)(nian)成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)會(hui)(hui)“十五(wu)”課題《優質教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)研(yan)究》實驗基地和(he)“廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)(dong)省現(xian)代教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)技(ji)術實驗學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)”。2006年(nian)(nian)(nian)成(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)部(bu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)央電(dian)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)館“十一五(wu)”重(zhong)點研(yan)究課題《利用現(xian)代信息技(ji)術加強學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)、家庭和(he)社區(qu)協同教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)研(yan)究》實驗學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)和(he)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國基礎教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)網絡實驗學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。2009年(nian)(nian)(nian)被(bei)(bei)廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)(dong)省教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)廳評(ping)(ping)(ping)為(wei)(wei)(wei)廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)(dong)省中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)小學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)本(ben)培訓示范(fan)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)、《師(shi)資(zi)建(jian)設》教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)發展學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。此(ci)外,廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧(ning)(ning)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)還(huan)先(xian)后榮(rong)獲廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)東(dong)(dong)省“群眾體(ti)育(yu)(yu)先(xian)進(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)單(dan)位(wei)”、肇慶(qing)市(shi)(shi)“教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)書育(yu)(yu)人先(xian)進(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)集(ji)(ji)體(ti)”、肇慶(qing)市(shi)(shi)“文(wen)(wen)(wen)明(ming)(ming)單(dan)位(wei)”、“花園式(shi)單(dan)位(wei)”、廣(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)(guang)寧(ning)(ning)縣(xian)“文(wen)(wen)(wen)明(ming)(ming)窗口(kou)(kou)單(dan)位(wei)”、“政風行(xing)(xing)風建(jian)設滿(man)意單(dan)位(wei)”等(deng)光(guang)榮(rong)稱(cheng)號。
廣(guang)寧中(zhong)學(xue)創(chuang)建于1930年,初時校名(ming)為廣(guang)寧縣立中(zhong)學(xue)。
1956年學(xue)校更名為廣寧第(di)一(yi)中學(xue);1958年廣寧、四會合縣(xian),學(xue)校更名為廣四縣(xian)南街中學(xue)。
1960年學校改名為廣寧縣廣寧中(zhong)學。
1969年學(xue)(xue)校改名(ming)為五(wu)七(qi)中學(xue)(xue)。
1977年初校名恢復為廣(guang)寧中學(xue),并確(que)定為縣重點(dian)中學(xue)。
1999年被定為市(shi)重(zhong)點中學。
2001年(nian)(nian)7月(yue)寧(ning)城中(zhong)學撤(che)并至廣(guang)寧(ning)中(zhong)學,成為(wei)學校(xiao)初(chu)中(zhong)部(bu),2007年(nian)(nian)2月(yue)初(chu)中(zhong)部(bu)分(fen)離(li);2003年(nian)(nian)廣(guang)寧(ning)縣實驗中(zhong)學撤(che)并至廣(guang)寧(ning)中(zhong)學,成為(wei)學校(xiao)東(dong)校(xiao)區(qu),2007年(nian)(nian)7月(yue)東(dong)校(xiao)區(qu)分(fen)離(li)。
