蓋自洪武(wu)開元(yuan),至(zhi)(zhi)于永樂大帝,歷經數(shu)十載,四方得以(yi)平息。成祖遂遷(qian)都京師,威(wei)(wei)加海(hai)(hai)內,始創大明(ming)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)盛。而中華(hua)威(wei)(wei)名(ming)(ming)亦遠播四海(hai)(hai),但聞(wen)華(hua)夏之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)名(ming)(ming)者(zhe),莫不(bu)翹首稱贊(zan),四方朝拜(bai)。然論功行賞,三寶太監當為(wei)首功。念往昔(xi),鄭(zheng)和(he)七(qi)下西洋,浩浩蕩(dang)蕩(dang),艦隊之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)強大,當屬世界之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)首,沿路(lu)經過,大小(xiao)各國無不(bu)震(zhen)撼,皆(jie)以(yi)寶物互換(huan),其(qi)(qi)時(shi),中華(hua)以(yi)瓷器、茶葉、絲綢為(wei)主,外人當以(yi)本地至(zhi)(zhi)寶換(huan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。鄭(zheng)和(he)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后,海(hai)(hai)外乃通,西方行商者(zhe)皆(jie)魚貫(guan)而入,一時(shi)間,海(hai)(hai)上貿易(yi)頻繁,物流之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)盛更(geng)古(gu)未(wei)有,更(geng)有家具收藏(zang)愛好者(zhe),攜榆木家具至(zhi)(zhi)海(hai)(hai)外,西方人見之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),嘆(tan)為(wei)觀止,一嘆(tan)其(qi)(qi)工藝之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)絕倫(lun),二嘆(tan)其(qi)(qi)設計(ji)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)獨特,竟以(yi)重金買之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),收之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),藏(zang)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。
