竹溪寺塬名小西天寺,建于明永歷年間,為最早創建的寺院。因臨竹溪而改名為竹溪寺,,庇鄰體育公園與忠烈祠。竹溪寺歷經多次整修,現貌為中西合璧,與塬貌大不相同;屋頂采宮殿式,大門則為西式的落地窗,造型特殊,寺貌宏偉不凡。正殿是大雄寶殿,供奉釋迦牟尼佛;后殿為觀音殿,左右羅列十八羅漢,旁祀媽祖、關帝神像。

基本介紹

佛(fo)教(jiao)寺院竹溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺曾為清代臺灣佛(fo)教(jiao)三(san)大(da)(da)名(ming)剎(cha)之一。清初(chu)至民國初(chu)年(nian),該寺為臺灣佛(fo)教(jiao)徒崇仰的中心,有重要(yao)影響。竹溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺前臨(lin)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)流,沿畔幽篁成蔭。三(san)川門、拜殿(dian)、主殿(dian)與后殿(dian)均為三(san)層樓(lou),屋頂采(cai)(cai)歇(xie)山重詹(zhan)的宮殿(dian)布局,飾有斗栱、彩繪、雀替、重詹(zhan)等華麗(li)雕琢,兩側(ce)還有鐘鼓樓(lou)及禪(chan)房(fang),內部采(cai)(cai)西(xi)(xi)式(shi)結構(gou)(gou),大(da)(da)門則為落地(di)窗(chuang),外觀(guan)(guan)呈(cheng)中西(xi)(xi)合璧,白墻(qiang)綠瓦(wa)佇立于溪(xi)(xi)(xi)谷(gu)低(di)地(di),形勢壯(zhuang)闊雄(xiong)偉,僅存(cun)山門為昔日舊構(gou)(gou),燕脊重詹(zhan),紅磚黑(hei)瓦(wa)、鏤空雕花,上書“竹溪(xi)(xi)(xi)古(gu)寺”,顯得格外古(gu)樸。正殿(dian)是大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian),供奉釋迦(jia)牟尼(ni)佛(fo);后殿(dian)為觀(guan)(guan)音殿(dian),左右(you)羅(luo)列十八羅(luo)漢,旁祀(si)媽祖、關帝神像(xiang);兩尊白象雄(xiong)踞(ju)拜殿(dian)前左右(you)兩側(ce),益增禪(chan)林氣息(xi)。竹溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺歷史(shi)悠久(jiu),寺內題詩、聯句和匾額(e)相當多,大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶(bao)殿(dian)內所懸“了然(ran)世界”,名(ming)列府(fu)城三(san)大(da)(da)名(ming)匾,頗富(fu)禪(chan)意。

臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)省古老的(de)(de)(de)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。位(wei)于臺(tai)(tai)南市區。創(chuang)建(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)眾(zhong)說(shuo)(shuo)紛(fen)紜(yun),一(yi)(yi)說(shuo)(shuo)建(jian)于明·永歷(li)(li)十(shi)(shi)(shi)五年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1661),或說(shuo)(shuo)十(shi)(shi)(shi)八(ba)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)末(mo)、十(shi)(shi)(shi)九年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)初;一(yi)(yi)說(shuo)(shuo)清(qing)(qing)(qing)·康熙(xi)二(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1683所(suo)建(jian),或說(shuo)(shuo)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)。初名小(xiao)西(xi)天寺(si)(si)(si),以寺(si)(si)(si)旁綠竹(zhu)(zhu)茂密,林(lin)中溪(xi)(xi)(xi)流激湍,故又名竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)。后遭風雨侵蝕,堂宇陳腐不堪,經清(qing)(qing)(qing)·乾隆、嘉慶、光緒年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)三(san)(san)度維修(xiu),寺(si)(si)(si)貌煥然一(yi)(yi)新;復經民(min)初以來歷(li)(li)代(dai)住持的(de)(de)(de)增建(jian),遂具今日規模。本寺(si)(si)(si)與(yu)開元、法華二(er)(er)寺(si)(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)清(qing)(qing)(qing)末(mo)至民(min)初,全臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)佛(fo)教的(de)(de)(de)大本營(ying)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)原名小(xiao)西(xi)天寺(si)(si)(si),因臨竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)而改名為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si),位(wei)在(zai)巿區南側,建(jian)于明永歷(li)(li)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)歷(li)(li)經多次整(zheng)修(xiu),現貌為(wei)(wei)中西(xi)合璧,與(yu)原貌大不相(xiang)同;屋頂采宮殿(dian)(dian)式(shi),大門為(wei)(wei)西(xi)式(shi)落地窗,造型特(te)別。正殿(dian)(dian)大雄寶(bao)殿(dian)(dian),供奉釋迦牟尼(ni)佛(fo);后殿(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)觀(guan)音,羅列十(shi)(shi)(shi)八(ba)羅漢,旁祀(si)媽祖(zu)、關帝神像(xiang)。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)歷(li)(li)史悠久(jiu)。值得前往(wang)觀(guan)覽。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)依山(shan)傍水,竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)潺(chan)潺(chan)流過(guo),上(shang)有吊橋連對岸(an),溪(xi)(xi)(xi)畔繁花茂盛,竹(zhu)(zhu)林(lin)蒼翠,頗(po)為(wei)(wei)清(qing)(qing)(qing)幽。臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)較(jiao)早的(de)(de)(de)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。永歷(li)(li)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)七年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)即清(qing)(qing)(qing)·康熙(xi)二(er)(er)十(shi)(shi)(shi) 二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1683)鄭成功(gong)裔孫(sun)鄭克(ke)塽降清(qing)(qing)(qing),經設一(yi)(yi)府(fu)三(san)(san)縣,府(fu)名臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu),縣為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)、鳳山(shan)及諸(zhu)羅等三(san)(san)縣。康熙(xi)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu)第(di)二(er)(er)任知(zhi)府(fu)吳國柱倡議于寺(si)(si)(si)旁建(jian)書院(yuan),士庶輦石輸材,諭禁不能(neng)止,稱為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)書院(yuan),經塑肖像(xiang)祀(si)焉。此據清(qing)(qing)(qing)領后十(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),即康熙(xi)三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)三(san)(san)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)較(jiao)早纂(zuan)修(xiu)《臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu)志》有所(suo)記(ji)載。該志對清(qing)(qing)(qing)領后創(chuang)建(jian)之各寺(si)(si)(si)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)均(jun)有記(ji)述,竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)則(ze)未記(ji),似非在(zai)清(qing)(qing)(qing)領十(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)內新建(jian),因年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)已久(jiu),修(xiu)志時(shi)已無法查考,或未便明記(ji)所(suo)致,其創(chuang)建(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)即可證實系建(jian)自(zi)明鄭時(shi)期。又據三(san)(san)十(shi)(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)第(di)二(er)(er)任臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu)同知(zhi)齊體物所(suo)詠竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)詩,有梵宮偏得占(zhan)名山(shan),屼(wu)作蠻州第(di)一(yi)(yi)觀(guan)之句,其含義為(wei)(wei)此寺(si)(si)(si)占(zhan)得名山(shan)且為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)島之第(di)一(yi)(yi)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。

建筑設計

全臺灣看起(qi)來,要以(yi)(yi)竹溪寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)(da)殿(dian)為(wei)(wei)較(jiao)最大(da)(da)(da),寺(si)(si)內(nei)(nei)(nei)主(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)為(wei)(wei)觀音菩(pu)薩,寺(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)(de)布局(ju)大(da)(da)(da)多(duo)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)正面中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路為(wei)(wei)山門(men)(men),山門(men)(men)內(nei)(nei)(nei)左(zuo)(zuo)右分(fen)(fen)別為(wei)(wei)鐘(zhong)樓(lou)(lou)、鼓樓(lou)(lou),正面是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)天(tian)(tian)王殿(dian),殿(dian)內(nei)(nei)(nei)有(you)(you)(you)四(si)大(da)(da)(da)金剛塑像,后(hou)(hou)面依次(ci)為(wei)(wei)大(da)(da)(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)和藏(zang)經樓(lou)(lou),僧房、齋堂則分(fen)(fen)列正中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路左(zuo)(zuo)右兩(liang)側(ce)。大(da)(da)(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)重要、龐大(da)(da)(da)的(de)(de)(de)建(jian)筑(zhu),大(da)(da)(da)雄即為(wei)(wei)佛(fo)(fo)祖(zu)釋加牟尼。隋唐以(yi)(yi)前(qian)(qian)的(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si),一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)般在(zai)寺(si)(si)前(qian)(qian)或宅院中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心造塔,隋唐以(yi)(yi)后(hou)(hou),佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)普(pu)遍代替了(le)(le)佛(fo)(fo)塔,寺(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)內(nei)(nei)(nei)大(da)(da)(da)都另辟塔院。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)不論規(gui)(gui)模(mo)(mo)地點,其建(jian)筑(zhu)布局(ju)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)有(you)(you)(you)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)定規(gui)(gui)律的(de)(de)(de):平面方(fang)(fang)形(xing),以(yi)(yi)山門(men)(men)殿(dian)——天(tian)(tian)王殿(dian)——大(da)(da)(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)——本(ben)寺(si)(si)主(zhu)供(gong)菩(pu)薩殿(dian)——法(fa)堂——藏(zang)經樓(lou)(lou)這條(tiao)(tiao)南北縱深(shen)軸(zhou)線(xian)來組織(zhi)空間,對(dui)(dui)稱(cheng)穩重且(qie)整(zheng)飭嚴謹。沿著這條(tiao)(tiao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)軸(zhou)線(xian),前(qian)(qian)后(hou)(hou)建(jian)筑(zhu)起(qi)承轉合,宛若一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)曲前(qian)(qian)呼后(hou)(hou)應(ying)(ying)、氣(qi)韻生(sheng)動的(de)(de)(de)樂章。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)(de)建(jian)筑(zhu)之美(mei)就響應(ying)(ying)在(zai)群山、松柏、流(liu)水、殿(dian)落與(yu)亭(ting)廊的(de)(de)(de)相互呼應(ying)(ying)之間,含蓄溫蘊,展示出(chu)組合變幻所賦予的(de)(de)(de)和諧、寧(ning)靜及韻味。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)古人(ren)在(zai)建(jian)筑(zhu)格局(ju)上(shang)有(you)(you)(you)很(hen)深(shen)的(de)(de)(de)陰陽宇宙觀和崇(chong)尚(shang)對(dui)(dui)稱(cheng)、秩序、穩定的(de)(de)(de)審美(mei)心理。因此中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)融合了(le)(le)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)特有(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)祭祀祖(zu)宗、天(tian)(tian)地的(de)(de)(de)功能。此外(wai)(wai),園林式建(jian)筑(zhu)格局(ju)的(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)在(zai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)也較(jiao)普(pu)遍。這兩(liang)種藝術格局(ju)使中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)院既有(you)(you)(you)典雅莊重的(de)(de)(de)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)堂氣(qi)氛,又極富(fu)自然情趣,且(qie)意境深(shen)遠。寺(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)(miao)建(jian)筑(zhu)全國(guo)(guo)(guo)各(ge)地比(bi)比(bi)皆(jie)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),不論是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)建(jian)筑(zhu)規(gui)(gui)模(mo)(mo),還是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)建(jian)筑(zhu)藝術都是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)被中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)外(wai)(wai)旅(lv)游者所稱(cheng)絕(jue)的(de)(de)(de)。天(tian)(tian)王殿(dian)兩(liang)側(ce)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)四(si)大(da)(da)(da)天(tian)(tian)王彩塑像,高各(ge)八米(mi)(mi),個個身披重甲(jia)。其中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)個形(xing)態(tai)威武,兩(liang)個神色和善,俗稱(cheng)四(si)大(da)(da)(da)金剛。看這座門(men)(men)樓(lou)(lou),它高達20米(mi)(mi),寬4.5米(mi)(mi),全系青、白崗(gang)石(shi)(shi)(shi)砌疊而成的(de)(de)(de),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)個三層(ceng)穹形(xing)頂(ding)的(de)(de)(de)尖拱(gong)門(men)(men),分(fen)(fen)外(wai)(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)、內(nei)(nei)(nei)三層(ceng),在(zai)外(wai)(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)層(ceng)的(de)(de)(de)上(shang)部都有(you)(you)(you)青石(shi)(shi)(shi)作(zuo)(zuo)圓形(xing)穹頂(ding),有(you)(you)(you)著和我國(guo)(guo)(guo)古建(jian)筑(zhu)的(de)(de)(de)“藻井”相類似的(de)(de)(de)石(shi)(shi)(shi)構圖(tu)案(an),頂(ding)蓋采用(yong)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)傳統的(de)(de)(de)蓮花圖(tu)案(an),門(men)(men)樓(lou)(lou)正額(e)橫嵌阿(a)拉伯文浮(fu)雕石(shi)(shi)(shi)刻,寫道:“真主(zhu)秉公作(zuo)(zuo)證,除他外(wai)(wai),絕(jue)無應(ying)(ying)受崇(chong)拜的(de)(de)(de);眾(zhong)天(tian)(tian)神和一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)般學(xue)者,也這樣(yang)作(zuo)(zuo)證,除他外(wai)(wai),絕(jue)無應(ying)(ying)受崇(chong)拜的(de)(de)(de),他是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)萬能的(de)(de)(de),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)至睿的(de)(de)(de)所喜悅的(de)(de)(de)宗教,石(shi)(shi)(shi)刻,上(shang)面記載著竹溪寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)創建(jian)年(nian)代重修時間以(yi)(yi)及較(jiao)早(zao)的(de)(de)(de)名(ming)稱(cheng),門(men)(men)樓(lou)(lou)頂(ding)層(ceng)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)望(wang)月臺,決(jue)定起(qi)齋日期的(de)(de)(de)地方(fang)(fang),臺的(de)(de)(de)周(zhou)圍三面建(jian)筑(zhu)回字形(xing)的(de)(de)(de)垛子,像城堞一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)樣(yang),別有(you)(you)(you)風致,平臺上(shang)原來還有(you)(you)(you)望(wang)月樓(lou)(lou)和尖塔,清(qing)朝初年(nian)倒坍了(le)(le)。

竹溪寺(si)(si)依山(shan)(shan)傍(bang)水,松柏(bo)長青,花草遍地(di),山(shan)(shan)後水庫(ku)截河十(shi)幾里(li),碧(bi)波粼粼,涵照萬(wan)象。進了山(shan)(shan)門,拾(shi)級(ji)而升,各殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)門前的(de)(de)(de)(de)漢白玉石(shi)獅威(wei)猛無比,正殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)供(gong)奉威(wei)儀莊(zhuang)嚴(yan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)貼金諸佛菩(pu)薩尊(zun)者像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),端莊(zhuang)肅(su)穆。偏殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)供(gong)藥(yao)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)佛、地(di)藏(zang)菩(pu)請看(kan)這(zhe)(zhe)里(li)是(shi)寺(si)(si)內(nei)的(de)(de)(de)(de)宣(xuan)禮(li)塔的(de)(de)(de)(de)塔址,當年,宣(xuan)禮(li)塔塔形(xing)如(ru)柱,高(gao)(gao)(gao)聳奇偉(wei),殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)正中(zhong),佛祖釋(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)(gao)(gao)踞(ju)蓮花座(zuo)(zuo)之(zhi)上(shang),妙相莊(zhuang)嚴(yan),頷首俯視,令人(ren)敬畏。這(zhe)(zhe)是(shi)中(zhong)國較高(gao)(gao)(gao)大的(de)(de)(de)(de)木(mu)雕坐式(shi)佛像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)之(zhi)一(yi)。釋(shi)祖像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)后壁(bi)為(wei)(wei)《五十(shi)三(san)參(can)》彩繪群(qun)塑(su),共(gong)有(you)姿態(tai)各異的(de)(de)(de)(de)大小佛教塑(su)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)一(yi)百(bai)五十(shi)尊(zun),表(biao)現的(de)(de)(de)(de)是(shi)佛經中(zhong)財童子歷經磨難(nan)參(can)拜(bai)五十(shi)三(san)位《善知識》名師(shi),終于得證佛果 的(de)(de)(de)(de)故事。這(zhe)(zhe)座(zuo)(zuo)內(nei)容豐富形(xing)象生(sheng)動(dong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)壁(bi)塑(su)的(de)(de)(de)(de)主像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)足踏(ta)鰲(ao)背,手執凈瓶的(de)(de)(de)(de)觀世音菩(pu)薩,她意態(tai)瀟(xiao)灑,祥和(he)地(di)接受著(zhu)善財童子的(de)(de)(de)(de)參(can)拜(bai)。釋(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)靈隱寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)原釋(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)佛像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),這(zhe)(zhe)座(zuo)(zuo)佛像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)在(zai)重(zhong)修寺(si)(si)宇時,由(you)浙江美術學院(yuan)(yuan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)雕塑(su)家和(he)民間藝人(ren)們采用唐代禪(chan)宗佛像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)為(wei)(wei)藍本共(gong)同精(jing)心(xin)設計(ji)的(de)(de)(de)(de)。佛像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)(gao)(gao)十(shi)九點(dian)六(liu)米(mi),比原先的(de)(de)(de)(de)釋(shi)迦(jia)造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)(gao)(gao)一(yi)倍多,用近百(bai)塊香樟木(mu)雕成。佛像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)造(zao)型端莊(zhuang)凝重(zhong),低眉細目,氣(qi)韶生(sheng)動(dong),極度(du)具風采。藥(yao)師(shi)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)重(zhong)建,殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)中(zhong)供(gong)奉藥(yao)師(shi)佛像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)及(ji)日(ri)天、月天。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)左,有(you)重(zhong)建的(de)(de)(de)(de)羅漢堂,陳列(lie)五百(bai)羅漢像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)線刻石(shi)。寺(si)(si)院(yuan)(yuan)內(nei)還(huan)有(you)配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)四座(zuo)(zuo)立于院(yuan)(yuan)落兩側,布局嚴(yan)謹(jin),排列(lie)有(you)序,形(xing)成一(yi)組完整的(de)(de)(de)(de)寺(si)(si)院(yuan)(yuan)建筑群(qun)。第三(san)進院(yuan)(yuan)為(wei)(wei)藏(zang)經樓(lou),該樓(lou)當時收(shou)藏(zang)明、清版本經卷(juan)720余(yu)部(bu),以及(ji)大量珍貴文物。竹溪寺(si)(si)自建成、開(kai)光以來(lai),寺(si)(si)內(nei)香火不斷,每逢農歷四月初八廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui)之(zhi)日(ri),寺(si)(si)內(nei)大開(kai)道(dao)場,寺(si)(si)外搭臺唱戲,焚香進供(gong)者絡繹不絕,前來(lai)逛廟(miao)(miao)者人(ren)山(shan)(shan)人(ren)海(hai),三(san)天的(de)(de)(de)(de)廟(miao)(miao)會(hui)(hui),熱(re)鬧非常。每逢農歷,還(huan)舉行盂(yu)蘭盆會(hui)(hui)儀式(shi),備百(bai)味飲食,供(gong)養十(shi)方僧眾,放焰口,廟(miao)(miao)里(li)廟(miao)(miao)外,非常隆重(zhong)。

建設沿革

寺(si)(si)(si)內歷史永歷五(wu)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1651沈光(guang)文遇颶(ju)風漂流至(zhi)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣,初播中國文化。十五(wu)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)延王(wang)鄭成功率軍渡臺(tai)(tai)(tai)驅逐紅毛為(wei)(wei)復(fu)明(ming)(ming)基地(di),經(jing)(jing)(jing)置東(dong)都,設承天(tian)府并天(tian)興、萬(wan)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)兩縣治理。十八(ba)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)嗣王(wang)鄭經(jing)(jing)(jing) 放棄金、廈回臺(tai)(tai)(tai),改東(dong)都為(wei)(wei)東(dong)寧,升(sheng)天(tian)興、萬(wan)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)二(er)(er)縣為(wei)(wei)二(er)(er)州(zhou),裁承天(tian)府。是(shi)時(shi)(shi)經(jing)(jing)(jing)州(zhou)守(shou)(shou)倡建梵宮于(yu)南(nan)(nan)郊南(nan)(nan)溪(xi)之(zhi)(zhi)旁,顏曰小西天(tian)。此(ci)時(shi)(shi)有沈光(guang)文所(suo)詠詩(shi)題︰州(zhou)守(shou)(shou)新(xin)構僧舍于(yu)南(nan)(nan)溪(xi),人(ren)多往游,余(yu)未及也。可以證明(ming)(ming)。沈氏窗蝴詩(shi)不久因寓(yu)諷(feng)鄭經(jing)(jing)(jing)之(zhi)(zhi)賦(fu)被才(cai),幾(ji)罹不測,經(jing)(jing)(jing)變服入山為(wei)(wei)僧,故小西天(tian)寺(si)(si)(si)系在二(er)(er)縣升(sheng)州(zhou)之(zhi)(zhi)后,沈氏逃禪之(zhi)(zhi)前,亦即在十八(ba)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)末,或(huo)十九年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)初所(suo)建,乃臺(tai)(tai)(tai)島較早興建之(zhi)(zhi)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。嗣因南(nan)(nan)溪(xi)沿畔綠竹(zhu)(zhu)成蔭,風景宜人(ren),另(ling)名竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi),因是(shi)寺(si)(si)(si)名亦隨之(zhi)(zhi)稱(cheng)為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)。臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣史學家盧嘉(jia)興考證,竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣第一座(zuo)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。據其考正結(jie)果,臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣建于(yu)明(ming)(ming)朝(chao)時(shi)(shi)期的三座(zuo)佛寺(si)(si)(si)中,較早的為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si),次(ci)為(wei)(wei)彌陀寺(si)(si)(si),再(zai)(zai)次(ci)為(wei)(wei)龍湖巖。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)因年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代久遠,于(yu)乾隆(long)五(wu)十四年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1789經(jing)(jing)(jing)里人(ren)蔡和生(sheng)倡修(xiu)(xiu),嘉(jia)慶(qing)元年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1796黃(huang)鐘岳等(deng)再(zai)(zai)募捐重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu),嘉(jia)慶(qing)二(er)(er)十三年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)董事劉延貴(gui)復(fu)修(xiu)(xiu),光(guang)緒十二(er)(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1886候通判鮑(bao)復(fu)康再(zai)(zai)重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)一次(ci)。日(ri)據時(shi)(shi)代上官玄、林(lin)神(shen)等(deng)人(ren)見寺(si)(si)(si)宇(yu)破損,殿閣(ge)荒無,決(jue)心聘一住持整頓。日(ri)據時(shi)(shi)代上官玄、林(lin)神(shen)等(deng)人(ren)見寺(si)(si)(si)宇(yu)破損,殿閣(ge)荒蕪,決(jue)心聘一住持整頓。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)民間相傳,人(ren)死(si)后魂魄要先(xian)到(dao)寺(si)(si)(si)廟報到(dao),接受初審,根(gen)據其生(sheng)前善惡功過,決(jue)定上天(tian)堂或(huo)下地(di)獄,因此(ci)對寺(si)(si)(si)廟里的祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)甚為(wei)(wei)敬畏;由于(yu)祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)對于(yu)轄區(qu)百(bai)姓(xing)行(xing)止瞭若指掌,遇有親人(ren)行(xing)蹤不明(ming)(ming),每每到(dao)此(ci)求簽問(wen)卜。每年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)農歷3月(yue)3日(ri)祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)誕辰,祖(zu)(zu)師爺(ye)按例于(yu)誕辰前夜行(xing)轄境,探(tan)訪民情。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)廟成為(wei)(wei)每年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)度熱鬧的就是(shi)廟會。

每當到了竹(zhu)溪(xi)寺(si)院,感(gan)(gan)(gan)受到一(yi)份超塵的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清凈(jing)與安祥(xiang),生(sheng)起(qi)了一(yi)份莊(zhuang)嚴與寧(ning)靜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin),令(ling)人(ren)(ren)自(zi)(zi)然而然的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)想(xiang)進(jin)入(ru)大(da)(da)殿(dian),禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)三拜(bai)(bai),表達對(dui)諸佛(fo)(fo)菩薩的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)禮(li)(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)、感(gan)(gan)(gan)恩,而從柔(rou)軟、徐緩而安詳的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)彎腰禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)動作里,感(gan)(gan)(gan)受到禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)者的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)安定(ding)與謙卑。不解(jie)佛(fo)(fo)教(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren),認為(wei)(wei)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)就是(shi)迷信、崇(chong)拜(bai)(bai)偶像。事實(shi)上,佛(fo)(fo)教(jiao)是(shi)透過(guo)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動作,禮(li)(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)佛(fo)(fo)菩薩,表達對(dui)佛(fo)(fo)、法(fa)、僧三寶的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)尊(zun)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)與感(gan)(gan)(gan)恩;同時(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)也(ye)可同時(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)懺悔自(zi)(zi)己所造的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡業。所以(yi),拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)是(shi)每一(yi)位佛(fo)(fo)教(jiao)徒首先(xian)要(yao)(yao)學習的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宗教(jiao)儀(yi)式(shi)。拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動作,是(shi)心(xin)誠(cheng)意(yi)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)將雙手合掌,低頭彎腰,五體(ti)投地(di)(di)(di)-兩(liang)肘(zhou)兩(liang)膝以(yi)及額頭著地(di)(di)(di),完(wan)成頭面接觸佛(fo)(fo)足的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)較高敬(jing)(jing)(jing)禮(li)(li)(li)(li),故又(you)稱為(wei)(wei)頂禮(li)(li)(li)(li)。彎腰低頭表示謙虛,承認自(zi)(zi)己的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)福德(de)智(zhi)慧不足,而當五體(ti)投地(di)(di)(di),接觸到大(da)(da)地(di)(di)(di)時(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),則令(ling)人(ren)(ren)感(gan)(gan)(gan)動于(yu)大(da)(da)地(di)(di)(di)孕育(yu)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng),負載眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng),涵容一(yi)切的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)精神,所以(yi),能(neng)懷(huai)著感(gan)(gan)(gan)恩心(xin),以(yi)飲水(shui)思源的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin),感(gan)(gan)(gan)謝(xie)大(da)(da)地(di)(di)(di),感(gan)(gan)(gan)謝(xie)一(yi)切眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)。而從拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動作,讓(rang)人(ren)(ren)連想(xiang)到,當人(ren)(ren)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)內心(xin)充滿(man)(man)了禮(li)(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)、感(gan)(gan)(gan)恩與懺悔時(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),也(ye)有如(ru)(ru)稻穗一(yi)樣的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),因成熟而下垂;而拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)意(yi)義(yi),也(ye)就是(shi)如(ru)(ru)此了。信佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)越(yue)來越(yue)多(duo),每年春節(jie)及農歷初一(yi)、十(shi)(shi)五等日期,廣大(da)(da)民眾(zhong)(zhong)有到竹(zhu)溪(xi)燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)、祈(qi)(qi)(qi)福求安的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)習慣(guan)。旅游途中(zhong)參觀(guan)名(ming)寺(si)大(da)(da)剎,燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo)也(ye)是(shi)很正(zheng)常的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),但是(shi),很多(duo)人(ren)(ren)并不知道(dao)(dao)(dao)如(ru)(ru)何燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)拜(bai)(bai)佛(fo)(fo),為(wei)(wei)使(shi)十(shi)(shi)方善信種植福田、廣獲法(fa)益(yi)、正(zheng)善正(zheng)行,以(yi)滿(man)(man)所愿,以(yi)祈(qi)(qi)(qi)共沾法(fa)益(yi)。寺(si)廟建(jian)筑都(dou)有許(xu)多(duo)道(dao)(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men),從哪一(yi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men)進(jin)入(ru)都(dou)有講究(jiu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。據說只(zhi)有開了光的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)寺(si)廟才有資格(ge)修十(shi)(shi)三道(dao)(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men)。正(zheng)中(zhong)間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)三道(dao)(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men),才是(shi)供人(ren)(ren)出(chu)(chu)入(ru)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。普(pu)通游客(ke)(ke)(ke),進(jin)門(men)(men)(men)只(zhi)能(neng)走右邊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)那道(dao)(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men),中(zhong)間那道(dao)(dao)(dao)門(men)(men)(men)叫空門(men)(men)(men),只(zhi)有出(chu)(chu)家(jia)人(ren)(ren)才可以(yi)出(chu)(chu)入(ru)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。進(jin)門(men)(men)(men)時(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),男客(ke)(ke)(ke)先(xian)邁(mai)左腳,女客(ke)(ke)(ke)先(xian)邁(mai)右腳,而且(qie)這步子,需邁(mai)得越(yue)大(da)(da)越(yue)好(hao)。同時(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)進(jin)廟內殿(dian)宇時(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)應遵(zun)循左門(men)(men)(men)進(jin)右門(men)(men)(men)出(chu)(chu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)原則。注意(yi):一(yi)定(ding)不能(neng)踩踏在門(men)(men)(men)檻(據說門(men)(men)(men)檻代表佛(fo)(fo)祖的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)肩(jian)膀,當然不能(neng)踩踏)之上。而登(deng)臨第(di)1和第(di)6個臺階(jie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)行禮(li)(li)(li)(li)意(yi)味(wei)著一(yi)心(xin)一(yi)意(yi)和六六大(da)(da)順(shun)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)含義(yi)。禮(li)(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)(fo)前,先(xian)要(yao)(yao)凈(jing)(洗)手。香(xiang)(xiang)不能(neng)叫買而應該叫請。普(pu)通人(ren)(ren)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)香(xiang)(xiang)要(yao)(yao)用(yong)左手持(chi)(據說右手不凈(jing),普(pu)通人(ren)(ren)殺生(sheng)大(da)(da)多(duo)用(yong)右手,三炷為(wei)(wei)自(zi)(zi)己祈(qi)(qi)(qi)福,六炷為(wei)(wei)兩(liang)輩人(ren)(ren)祈(qi)(qi)(qi)福,九炷為(wei)(wei)三代人(ren)(ren)祈(qi)(qi)(qi)福。而十(shi)(shi)三是(shi)一(yi)個極(ji)致,十(shi)(shi)三炷香(xiang)(xiang)就是(shi)功德(de)圓滿(man)(man)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)高香(xiang)(xiang)。先(xian)燒(shao)香(xiang)(xiang)再(zai)叩頭。
