竹溪寺塬名小西天寺,建于明永歷年間,為最早創建的寺院。因臨竹溪而改名為竹溪寺,,庇鄰體育公園與忠烈祠。竹溪寺歷經多次整修,現貌為中西合璧,與塬貌大不相同;屋頂采宮殿式,大門則為西式的落地窗,造型特殊,寺貌宏偉不凡。正殿是大雄寶殿,供奉釋迦牟尼佛;后殿為觀音殿,左右羅列十八羅漢,旁祀媽祖、關帝神像。

基本介紹

佛(fo)教寺(si)(si)院竹(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)曾為(wei)清代臺灣佛(fo)教三(san)大名剎(cha)之(zhi)一。清初(chu)至民(min)國初(chu)年,該寺(si)(si)為(wei)臺灣佛(fo)教徒崇仰的中心,有(you)重(zhong)要影響。竹(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)前臨溪(xi)(xi)流,沿畔幽(you)篁成蔭。三(san)川門、拜殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)、主殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)與(yu)后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)均為(wei)三(san)層樓(lou),屋頂采歇山重(zhong)詹(zhan)的宮殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)布局,飾有(you)斗(dou)栱、彩繪、雀替(ti)、重(zhong)詹(zhan)等華麗雕琢,兩(liang)側(ce)還有(you)鐘鼓樓(lou)及(ji)禪(chan)房,內(nei)部采西式結(jie)構(gou),大門則為(wei)落地窗,外觀(guan)呈中西合璧(bi),白(bai)(bai)墻綠瓦佇立于溪(xi)(xi)谷低地,形勢(shi)壯闊雄(xiong)(xiong)偉,僅存山門為(wei)昔(xi)日(ri)舊構(gou),燕脊重(zhong)詹(zhan),紅磚黑瓦、鏤(lou)空雕花,上書“竹(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)古寺(si)(si)”,顯得(de)格外古樸(pu)。正殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)是大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian),供奉(feng)釋(shi)迦牟尼佛(fo);后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)觀(guan)音殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian),左右羅列(lie)十(shi)八羅漢,旁祀媽祖(zu)、關帝神像;兩(liang)尊白(bai)(bai)象(xiang)雄(xiong)(xiong)踞拜殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)前左右兩(liang)側(ce),益增禪(chan)林氣息。竹(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)歷史悠久,寺(si)(si)內(nei)題詩、聯句和匾(bian)額相當多,大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)所懸(xuan)“了(le)然世界”,名列(lie)府城三(san)大名匾(bian),頗富禪(chan)意。

臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)省古老(lao)的(de)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。位于臺(tai)(tai)(tai)南市區(qu)(qu)。創建(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)眾說紛紜,一(yi)說建(jian)于明·永歷(li)十(shi)(shi)五(wu)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1661),或(huo)說十(shi)(shi)八年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)末、十(shi)(shi)九年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)初;一(yi)說清(qing)·康(kang)(kang)熙二十(shi)(shi)二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)1683所建(jian),或(huo)說三十(shi)(shi)二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)。初名(ming)(ming)小(xiao)西天寺(si)(si)(si),以寺(si)(si)(si)旁(pang)綠竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)茂密,林中溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)流激湍,故又名(ming)(ming)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)。后(hou)遭風雨侵蝕,堂宇陳腐不(bu)堪(kan),經(jing)(jing)清(qing)·乾隆、嘉慶、光緒年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)的(de)三度維(wei)修,寺(si)(si)(si)貌(mao)煥然一(yi)新;復經(jing)(jing)民初以來歷(li)代(dai)住(zhu)持的(de)增建(jian),遂具今日(ri)規(gui)模。本寺(si)(si)(si)與開元、法華二寺(si)(si)(si)為(wei)清(qing)末至民初,全(quan)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)佛(fo)教的(de)大(da)本營(ying)。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)原(yuan)名(ming)(ming)小(xiao)西天寺(si)(si)(si),因臨(lin)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)而(er)改名(ming)(ming)為(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si),位在(zai)巿區(qu)(qu)南側,建(jian)于明永歷(li)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)歷(li)經(jing)(jing)多(duo)次(ci)整(zheng)修,現貌(mao)為(wei)中西合璧,與原(yuan)貌(mao)大(da)不(bu)相同(tong);屋(wu)頂采宮殿(dian)(dian)式,大(da)門(men)為(wei)西式落地(di)窗,造型特別。正(zheng)殿(dian)(dian)大(da)雄寶殿(dian)(dian),供奉釋迦牟尼(ni)佛(fo);后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)為(wei)觀(guan)音(yin),羅(luo)列十(shi)(shi)八羅(luo)漢(han),旁(pang)祀媽祖、關帝神(shen)像。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)歷(li)史悠久(jiu)。值(zhi)得(de)前往(wang)觀(guan)覽。竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)依山(shan)傍水,竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)潺潺流過,上(shang)有(you)吊橋連(lian)對岸,溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)畔繁花茂盛,竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)林蒼翠,頗為(wei)清(qing)幽。臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)較(jiao)早的(de)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。永歷(li)三十(shi)(shi)七年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)即清(qing)·康(kang)(kang)熙二十(shi)(shi) 二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1683)鄭(zheng)成功裔孫鄭(zheng)克塽降清(qing),經(jing)(jing)設一(yi)府(fu)(fu)(fu)三縣(xian),府(fu)(fu)(fu)名(ming)(ming)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu)(fu)(fu),縣(xian)為(wei)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)、鳳(feng)山(shan)及諸(zhu)羅(luo)等三縣(xian)。康(kang)(kang)熙三十(shi)(shi)二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu)(fu)(fu)第(di)(di)二任知(zhi)(zhi)府(fu)(fu)(fu)吳國柱倡(chang)議于寺(si)(si)(si)旁(pang)建(jian)書院(yuan),士庶輦石輸材,諭禁不(bu)能止,稱為(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)書院(yuan),經(jing)(jing)塑肖(xiao)像祀焉。此據清(qing)領(ling)后(hou)十(shi)(shi)一(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),即康(kang)(kang)熙三十(shi)(shi)三年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)較(jiao)早纂修《臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu)(fu)(fu)志》有(you)所記載。該(gai)志對清(qing)領(ling)后(hou)創建(jian)之各(ge)寺(si)(si)(si)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)均有(you)記述,竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)則(ze)未記,似(si)非在(zai)清(qing)領(ling)十(shi)(shi)一(yi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)內新建(jian),因年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)已久(jiu),修志時(shi)已無法查考,或(huo)未便明記所致,其創建(jian)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)代(dai)即可證實系建(jian)自明鄭(zheng)時(shi)期。又據三十(shi)(shi)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)第(di)(di)二任臺(tai)(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)府(fu)(fu)(fu)同(tong)知(zhi)(zhi)齊體物所詠竹(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)(si)詩,有(you)梵宮偏得(de)占名(ming)(ming)山(shan),屼作(zuo)蠻州第(di)(di)一(yi)觀(guan)之句,其含義(yi)為(wei)此寺(si)(si)(si)占得(de)名(ming)(ming)山(shan)且為(wei)臺(tai)(tai)(tai)島之第(di)(di)一(yi)寺(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)。

建筑設計

全臺灣看(kan)起(qi)來(lai)(lai),要以竹溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)殿(dian)為(wei)較最大(da)(da),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)內(nei)主佛(fo)(fo)為(wei)觀(guan)音菩薩(sa),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)布局(ju)(ju)(ju)大(da)(da)多是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)正(zheng)(zheng)面(mian)(mian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路為(wei)山門,山門內(nei)左右分別為(wei)鐘樓(lou)、鼓樓(lou),正(zheng)(zheng)面(mian)(mian)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)天(tian)(tian)王(wang)殿(dian),殿(dian)內(nei)有(you)(you)四大(da)(da)金剛塑像(xiang),后(hou)面(mian)(mian)依次為(wei)大(da)(da)雄(xiong)(xiong)寶殿(dian)和(he)(he)藏(zang)經(jing)樓(lou),僧房、齋堂(tang)(tang)則(ze)分列正(zheng)(zheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)路左右兩(liang)(liang)(liang)側。大(da)(da)雄(xiong)(xiong)寶殿(dian)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)重要、龐大(da)(da)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu),大(da)(da)雄(xiong)(xiong)即為(wei)佛(fo)(fo)祖釋加(jia)牟尼。隋唐以前(qian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si),一(yi)(yi)般在(zai)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)前(qian)或宅院(yuan)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)心造塔(ta)(ta),隋唐以后(hou),佛(fo)(fo)殿(dian)普(pu)遍(bian)代(dai)(dai)替了佛(fo)(fo)塔(ta)(ta),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)內(nei)大(da)(da)都(dou)另辟塔(ta)(ta)院(yuan)。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)不(bu)論規(gui)模地點,其建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)布局(ju)(ju)(ju)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)有(you)(you)一(yi)(yi)定規(gui)律(lv)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de):平面(mian)(mian)方形,以山門殿(dian)——天(tian)(tian)王(wang)殿(dian)——大(da)(da)雄(xiong)(xiong)寶殿(dian)——本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)主供菩薩(sa)殿(dian)——法堂(tang)(tang)——藏(zang)經(jing)樓(lou)這(zhe)條南北縱深軸線來(lai)(lai)組(zu)織空間,對(dui)(dui)稱(cheng)(cheng)穩(wen)重且(qie)整飭嚴謹。沿(yan)著這(zhe)條中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)軸線,前(qian)后(hou)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)起(qi)承(cheng)轉合,宛若一(yi)(yi)曲前(qian)呼后(hou)應(ying)、氣(qi)韻生動的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)樂章。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)之(zhi)美就(jiu)響(xiang)應(ying)在(zai)群山、松柏、流水、殿(dian)落(luo)與亭廊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)相(xiang)互呼應(ying)之(zhi)間,含蓄溫(wen)蘊,展(zhan)示出組(zu)合變幻所賦予的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)和(he)(he)諧、寧靜及韻味。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)古人在(zai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)格局(ju)(ju)(ju)上(shang)(shang)有(you)(you)很(hen)深的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)陰陽(yang)宇宙觀(guan)和(he)(he)崇(chong)(chong)尚對(dui)(dui)稱(cheng)(cheng)、秩(zhi)序、穩(wen)定的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)審美心理。因此(ci)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)融(rong)合了中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)特有(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)祭祀祖宗、天(tian)(tian)地的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)功能(neng)。此(ci)外(wai)(wai),園林式建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)格局(ju)(ju)(ju)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)(fo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)在(zai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)也(ye)較普(pu)遍(bian)。這(zhe)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)種(zhong)藝術格局(ju)(ju)(ju)使中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)既(ji)有(you)(you)典雅莊重的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)廟(miao)(miao)堂(tang)(tang)氣(qi)氛,又極富自然情(qing)趣,且(qie)意境深遠。寺(si)(si)(si)(si)廟(miao)(miao)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)全國(guo)(guo)(guo)各地比比皆是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),不(bu)論是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)規(gui)模,還(huan)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)藝術都(dou)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)被中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)外(wai)(wai)旅游者所稱(cheng)(cheng)絕的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。天(tian)(tian)王(wang)殿(dian)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)側是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)四大(da)(da)天(tian)(tian)王(wang)彩塑像(xiang),高(gao)各八米(mi)(mi),個(ge)個(ge)身披重甲(jia)。其中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)個(ge)形態威武(wu),兩(liang)(liang)(liang)個(ge)神色和(he)(he)善,俗稱(cheng)(cheng)四大(da)(da)金剛。看(kan)這(zhe)座門樓(lou),它高(gao)達20米(mi)(mi),寬(kuan)4.5米(mi)(mi),全系青、白(bai)崗石砌疊而成的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)一(yi)(yi)個(ge)三(san)層(ceng)(ceng)穹形頂(ding)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)尖拱門,分外(wai)(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)、內(nei)三(san)層(ceng)(ceng),在(zai)外(wai)(wai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)層(ceng)(ceng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)上(shang)(shang)部都(dou)有(you)(you)青石作(zuo)圓形穹頂(ding),有(you)(you)著和(he)(he)我國(guo)(guo)(guo)古建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)“藻井”相(xiang)類似的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)石構圖案,頂(ding)蓋(gai)采用中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)傳(chuan)統的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)蓮花圖案,門樓(lou)正(zheng)(zheng)額橫嵌阿拉伯文浮雕石刻,寫道:“真主秉公作(zuo)證,除他外(wai)(wai),絕無應(ying)受崇(chong)(chong)拜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de);眾天(tian)(tian)神和(he)(he)一(yi)(yi)般學者,也(ye)這(zhe)樣作(zuo)證,除他外(wai)(wai),絕無應(ying)受崇(chong)(chong)拜的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),他是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)萬能(neng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)至睿的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)所喜悅的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宗教,石刻,上(shang)(shang)面(mian)(mian)記(ji)載(zai)著竹溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)創建(jian)(jian)(jian)年代(dai)(dai)重修時間以及較早的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)名稱(cheng)(cheng),門樓(lou)頂(ding)層(ceng)(ceng)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)望(wang)月(yue)臺,決定起(qi)齋日期的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)地方,臺的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)周(zhou)圍三(san)面(mian)(mian)建(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)回字形的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)垛子,像(xiang)城堞一(yi)(yi)樣,別有(you)(you)風致,平臺上(shang)(shang)原來(lai)(lai)還(huan)有(you)(you)望(wang)月(yue)樓(lou)和(he)(he)尖塔(ta)(ta),清朝初年倒(dao)坍了。

竹(zhu)溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)依山(shan)傍水,松柏長(chang)青(qing),花(hua)草遍(bian)地,山(shan)後(hou)水庫截(jie)河十(shi)幾里,碧波(bo)粼粼,涵照萬象。進了山(shan)門,拾級而升(sheng),各(ge)(ge)殿門前(qian)的(de)(de)(de)漢(han)(han)(han)白(bai)玉石獅(shi)威猛無比,正殿內供(gong)奉威儀莊(zhuang)嚴的(de)(de)(de)貼金諸佛(fo)(fo)菩薩尊者像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),端(duan)(duan)莊(zhuang)肅穆。偏殿供(gong)藥(yao)(yao)殿佛(fo)(fo)、地藏(zang)菩請看這(zhe)里是(shi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)內的(de)(de)(de)宣禮塔的(de)(de)(de)塔址,當年(nian),宣禮塔塔形如柱,高(gao)聳奇偉(wei),殿正中(zhong),佛(fo)(fo)祖(zu)釋(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)(ni)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)踞(ju)蓮花(hua)座(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)之上,妙相莊(zhuang)嚴,頷首俯視,令(ling)人(ren)(ren)敬畏。這(zhe)是(shi)中(zhong)國較高(gao)大的(de)(de)(de)木雕坐式(shi)佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)之一(yi)(yi)。釋(shi)祖(zu)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)后壁(bi)為《五(wu)(wu)十(shi)三參(can)》彩繪群(qun)塑,共(gong)有(you)(you)姿(zi)態(tai)各(ge)(ge)異的(de)(de)(de)大小佛(fo)(fo)教塑像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)一(yi)(yi)百五(wu)(wu)十(shi)尊,表現的(de)(de)(de)是(shi)佛(fo)(fo)經(jing)(jing)中(zhong)財童子(zi)歷(li)經(jing)(jing)磨難參(can)拜五(wu)(wu)十(shi)三位《善知識》名(ming)師,終于(yu)得(de)證佛(fo)(fo)果(guo) 的(de)(de)(de)故事(shi)。這(zhe)座(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)內容豐富形象生動的(de)(de)(de)壁(bi)塑的(de)(de)(de)主像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)足踏鰲背,手執凈瓶的(de)(de)(de)觀世(shi)音菩薩,她意態(tai)瀟灑,祥和地接受著善財童子(zi)的(de)(de)(de)參(can)拜。釋(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)(ni)造(zao)(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)靈隱寺(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)(de)(de)原(yuan)釋(shi)迦(jia)牟尼(ni)(ni)佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang),這(zhe)座(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)是(shi)在重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修寺(si)(si)(si)(si)宇時,由浙江美(mei)術學院(yuan)(yuan)的(de)(de)(de)雕塑家(jia)和民(min)間藝(yi)人(ren)(ren)們(men)采(cai)(cai)用(yong)唐代禪宗佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)為藍本共(gong)同精心(xin)設(she)計的(de)(de)(de)。佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)十(shi)九(jiu)點六米,比原(yuan)先的(de)(de)(de)釋(shi)迦(jia)造(zao)(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)高(gao)一(yi)(yi)倍多,用(yong)近(jin)百塊(kuai)香樟木雕成(cheng)。佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)造(zao)(zao)型端(duan)(duan)莊(zhuang)凝重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),低(di)眉細目,氣韶生動,極(ji)度具風采(cai)(cai)。藥(yao)(yao)師殿為重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)建(jian),殿中(zhong)供(gong)奉藥(yao)(yao)師佛(fo)(fo)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)及日天(tian)(tian)、月(yue)天(tian)(tian)。殿左,有(you)(you)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)建(jian)的(de)(de)(de)羅漢(han)(han)(han)堂,陳列(lie)五(wu)(wu)百羅漢(han)(han)(han)像(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)線(xian)刻石。寺(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)(yuan)內還(huan)有(you)(you)配殿四座(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)立(li)于(yu)院(yuan)(yuan)落兩側,布局嚴謹,排列(lie)有(you)(you)序,形成(cheng)一(yi)(yi)組(zu)完整的(de)(de)(de)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)院(yuan)(yuan)建(jian)筑群(qun)。第三進院(yuan)(yuan)為藏(zang)經(jing)(jing)樓,該(gai)樓當時收藏(zang)明、清版(ban)本經(jing)(jing)卷720余部,以(yi)及大量珍貴文物。竹(zhu)溪寺(si)(si)(si)(si)自建(jian)成(cheng)、開(kai)光(guang)以(yi)來(lai)(lai),寺(si)(si)(si)(si)內香火不斷,每逢農歷(li)四月(yue)初八(ba)廟(miao)會(hui)之日,寺(si)(si)(si)(si)內大開(kai)道場,寺(si)(si)(si)(si)外搭臺唱戲(xi),焚香進供(gong)者絡繹不絕,前(qian)來(lai)(lai)逛廟(miao)者人(ren)(ren)山(shan)人(ren)(ren)海,三天(tian)(tian)的(de)(de)(de)廟(miao)會(hui),熱鬧(nao)非(fei)常。每逢農歷(li),還(huan)舉行盂(yu)蘭盆會(hui)儀式(shi),備百味飲食(shi),供(gong)養十(shi)方僧眾,放焰(yan)口,廟(miao)里廟(miao)外,非(fei)常隆重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。

建設沿革

寺(si)(si)內歷史(shi)永(yong)歷五年(nian)(nian)1651沈光(guang)文遇颶風漂(piao)流至臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan),初(chu)播中國文化。十(shi)五年(nian)(nian)延(yan)王鄭成功(gong)率軍渡臺(tai)(tai)驅(qu)逐紅(hong)毛為(wei)(wei)復明(ming)(ming)基地(di),經(jing)置(zhi)東(dong)都,設承(cheng)天府并天興(xing)、萬(wan)年(nian)(nian)兩縣治理(li)。十(shi)八年(nian)(nian)嗣(si)王鄭經(jing) 放棄金、廈(sha)回臺(tai)(tai),改(gai)東(dong)都為(wei)(wei)東(dong)寧,升天興(xing)、萬(wan)年(nian)(nian)二(er)縣為(wei)(wei)二(er)州,裁承(cheng)天府。是(shi)時(shi)(shi)經(jing)州守倡(chang)建梵宮于南郊南溪(xi)(xi)之旁(pang),顏曰小西天。此時(shi)(shi)有沈光(guang)文所(suo)詠詩題(ti)︰州守新構僧(seng)舍于南溪(xi)(xi),人(ren)多往游(you),余(yu)未及也(ye)。可以證明(ming)(ming)。沈氏(shi)窗蝴詩不久(jiu)因(yin)寓諷鄭經(jing)之賦被才,幾罹(li)不測,經(jing)變服入山為(wei)(wei)僧(seng),故小西天寺(si)(si)系在(zai)二(er)縣升州之后,沈氏(shi)逃(tao)禪之前(qian)(qian),亦(yi)即在(zai)十(shi)八年(nian)(nian)末,或十(shi)九年(nian)(nian)初(chu)所(suo)建,乃臺(tai)(tai)島較(jiao)早興(xing)建之寺(si)(si)院。嗣(si)因(yin)南溪(xi)(xi)沿畔(pan)綠竹(zhu)(zhu)成蔭,風景宜人(ren),另名竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi),因(yin)是(shi)寺(si)(si)名亦(yi)隨(sui)之稱為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)。臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)史(shi)學家盧嘉(jia)興(xing)考證,竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)第(di)一(yi)座寺(si)(si)院。據其(qi)(qi)考正結果,臺(tai)(tai)灣(wan)(wan)建于明(ming)(ming)朝時(shi)(shi)期的三座佛(fo)寺(si)(si)中,較(jiao)早的為(wei)(wei)竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si),次(ci)為(wei)(wei)彌陀寺(si)(si),再次(ci)為(wei)(wei)龍湖(hu)巖。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)因(yin)年(nian)(nian)代久(jiu)遠,于乾(qian)隆五十(shi)四年(nian)(nian)1789經(jing)里(li)人(ren)蔡和生(sheng)(sheng)倡(chang)修(xiu),嘉(jia)慶元(yuan)年(nian)(nian)1796黃鐘(zhong)岳等(deng)再募捐重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu),嘉(jia)慶二(er)十(shi)三年(nian)(nian)董事劉延(yan)貴復修(xiu),光(guang)緒(xu)十(shi)二(er)年(nian)(nian)1886候通判鮑復康再重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)一(yi)次(ci)。日據時(shi)(shi)代上(shang)官(guan)玄(xuan)(xuan)、林(lin)神等(deng)人(ren)見(jian)寺(si)(si)宇破(po)損(sun),殿閣荒無,決心聘一(yi)住(zhu)(zhu)持整(zheng)頓。日據時(shi)(shi)代上(shang)官(guan)玄(xuan)(xuan)、林(lin)神等(deng)人(ren)見(jian)寺(si)(si)宇破(po)損(sun),殿閣荒蕪,決心聘一(yi)住(zhu)(zhu)持整(zheng)頓。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)民間相傳,人(ren)死(si)后魂(hun)魄(po)要先到寺(si)(si)廟(miao)報(bao)到,接受初(chu)審,根(gen)據其(qi)(qi)生(sheng)(sheng)前(qian)(qian)善惡功(gong)過,決定(ding)上(shang)天堂(tang)或下地(di)獄,因(yin)此對寺(si)(si)廟(miao)里(li)的祖(zu)(zu)師(shi)(shi)(shi)爺甚為(wei)(wei)敬畏;由于祖(zu)(zu)師(shi)(shi)(shi)爺對于轄(xia)區百(bai)姓行(xing)止瞭若指掌,遇有親人(ren)行(xing)蹤(zong)不明(ming)(ming),每(mei)每(mei)到此求簽問(wen)卜。每(mei)年(nian)(nian)農歷3月3日祖(zu)(zu)師(shi)(shi)(shi)爺誕(dan)辰,祖(zu)(zu)師(shi)(shi)(shi)爺按例于誕(dan)辰前(qian)(qian)夜行(xing)轄(xia)境,探訪民情。竹(zhu)(zhu)溪(xi)(xi)寺(si)(si)廟(miao)成為(wei)(wei)每(mei)年(nian)(nian)度(du)熱鬧的就(jiu)是(shi)廟(miao)會(hui)。

每(mei)當(dang)到(dao)了(le)(le)竹溪(xi)寺(si)院,感受(shou)到(dao)一份超塵的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)清凈與安祥,生(sheng)起了(le)(le)一份莊嚴與寧靜(jing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心,令人(ren)(ren)(ren)自然而(er)(er)(er)然的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)想(xiang)進(jin)入大(da)殿,禮(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)三(san)(san)拜(bai),表達對(dui)諸(zhu)佛(fo)菩(pu)薩的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)禮(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)、感恩,而(er)(er)(er)從(cong)柔軟(ruan)、徐緩而(er)(er)(er)安詳的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)彎腰(yao)禮(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)動作(zuo)里,感受(shou)到(dao)禮(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)者的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)安定(ding)與謙(qian)卑。不(bu)(bu)(bu)解佛(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren),認為拜(bai)佛(fo)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)迷信、崇(chong)拜(bai)偶像(xiang)。事實上,佛(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)透過拜(bai)佛(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動作(zuo),禮(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)佛(fo)菩(pu)薩,表達對(dui)佛(fo)、法、僧三(san)(san)寶的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)尊敬(jing)(jing)(jing)與感恩;同(tong)(tong)時(shi)(shi),拜(bai)佛(fo)也可同(tong)(tong)時(shi)(shi)懺悔(hui)自己(ji)所造的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡業。所以(yi)(yi),拜(bai)佛(fo)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)每(mei)一位(wei)佛(fo)教(jiao)(jiao)徒首先(xian)要學習的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)宗教(jiao)(jiao)儀式。拜(bai)佛(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動作(zuo),是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)心誠意(yi)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)將雙手合掌,低頭彎腰(yao),五體投(tou)地(di)-兩(liang)肘兩(liang)膝以(yi)(yi)及額頭著(zhu)地(di),完成(cheng)(cheng)頭面接觸佛(fo)足(zu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)較高敬(jing)(jing)(jing)禮(li)(li)(li),故(gu)又稱(cheng)為頂禮(li)(li)(li)。彎腰(yao)低頭表示謙(qian)虛,承認自己(ji)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)福(fu)(fu)(fu)德智(zhi)慧不(bu)(bu)(bu)足(zu),而(er)(er)(er)當(dang)五體投(tou)地(di),接觸到(dao)大(da)地(di)時(shi)(shi),則(ze)令人(ren)(ren)(ren)感動于大(da)地(di)孕育眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng),負載眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng),涵(han)容一切(qie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)精神,所以(yi)(yi),能(neng)(neng)懷著(zhu)感恩心,以(yi)(yi)飲水思源的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)心,感謝大(da)地(di),感謝一切(qie)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)。而(er)(er)(er)從(cong)拜(bai)佛(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)動作(zuo),讓人(ren)(ren)(ren)連想(xiang)到(dao),當(dang)人(ren)(ren)(ren)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)內心充滿(man)了(le)(le)禮(li)(li)(li)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)、感恩與懺悔(hui)時(shi)(shi),也有(you)如(ru)稻穗一樣的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),因(yin)成(cheng)(cheng)熟而(er)(er)(er)下垂;而(er)(er)(er)拜(bai)佛(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)意(yi)義,也就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)如(ru)此了(le)(le)。信佛(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren)越(yue)來越(yue)多(duo),每(mei)年春(chun)節及農(nong)歷初一、十(shi)五等日期,廣(guang)大(da)民眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)有(you)到(dao)竹溪(xi)燒香(xiang)(xiang)禮(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)、祈(qi)福(fu)(fu)(fu)求安的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)習慣(guan)。旅游途中參(can)觀名寺(si)大(da)剎,燒香(xiang)(xiang)拜(bai)佛(fo)也是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)很正常(chang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),但(dan)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),很多(duo)人(ren)(ren)(ren)并不(bu)(bu)(bu)知道如(ru)何(he)燒香(xiang)(xiang)拜(bai)佛(fo),為使十(shi)方(fang)善(shan)信種植福(fu)(fu)(fu)田(tian)、廣(guang)獲法益、正善(shan)正行(xing),以(yi)(yi)滿(man)所愿,以(yi)(yi)祈(qi)共沾法益。寺(si)廟(miao)(miao)建筑都(dou)(dou)有(you)許(xu)多(duo)道門(men),從(cong)哪一道門(men)進(jin)入都(dou)(dou)有(you)講究的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。據(ju)說只(zhi)(zhi)有(you)開了(le)(le)光的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)寺(si)廟(miao)(miao)才有(you)資(zi)格修十(shi)三(san)(san)道門(men)。正中間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)三(san)(san)道門(men),才是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)供(gong)人(ren)(ren)(ren)出(chu)入的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。普通(tong)游客,進(jin)門(men)只(zhi)(zhi)能(neng)(neng)走右邊的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)那(nei)(nei)道門(men),中間那(nei)(nei)道門(men)叫(jiao)空門(men),只(zhi)(zhi)有(you)出(chu)家人(ren)(ren)(ren)才可以(yi)(yi)出(chu)入的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。進(jin)門(men)時(shi)(shi),男(nan)客先(xian)邁(mai)左(zuo)腳,女客先(xian)邁(mai)右腳,而(er)(er)(er)且(qie)這步子,需邁(mai)得越(yue)大(da)越(yue)好。同(tong)(tong)時(shi)(shi)進(jin)廟(miao)(miao)內殿宇時(shi)(shi)應遵循左(zuo)門(men)進(jin)右門(men)出(chu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)原則(ze)。注意(yi):一定(ding)不(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)踩(cai)踏(ta)在門(men)檻(jian)(據(ju)說門(men)檻(jian)代表佛(fo)祖的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)肩膀,當(dang)然不(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)踩(cai)踏(ta))之上。而(er)(er)(er)登臨第1和(he)第6個(ge)臺階的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)行(xing)禮(li)(li)(li)意(yi)味著(zhu)一心一意(yi)和(he)六六大(da)順的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)含義。禮(li)(li)(li)佛(fo)前(qian),先(xian)要凈(洗)手。香(xiang)(xiang)不(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)叫(jiao)買而(er)(er)(er)應該叫(jiao)請。普通(tong)人(ren)(ren)(ren)敬(jing)(jing)(jing)香(xiang)(xiang)要用左(zuo)手持(據(ju)說右手不(bu)(bu)(bu)凈,普通(tong)人(ren)(ren)(ren)殺生(sheng)大(da)多(duo)用右手,三(san)(san)炷為自己(ji)祈(qi)福(fu)(fu)(fu),六炷為兩(liang)輩(bei)人(ren)(ren)(ren)祈(qi)福(fu)(fu)(fu),九炷為三(san)(san)代人(ren)(ren)(ren)祈(qi)福(fu)(fu)(fu)。而(er)(er)(er)十(shi)三(san)(san)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)一個(ge)極致,十(shi)三(san)(san)炷香(xiang)(xiang)就(jiu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)功德圓(yuan)滿(man)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)高香(xiang)(xiang)。先(xian)燒香(xiang)(xiang)再叩頭。
