學(xue)校的(de)前身(shen)是1949年(nian)創建的(de)福(fu)建省模范育幼院,1951年(nian)由福(fu)建省人民(min)政府更名(ming)為福(fu)建省烈軍(jun)屬子弟(di)學(xue)校,專門招收(shou)在(zai)解放戰爭(zheng)和(he)抗美援(yuan)朝戰爭(zheng)年(nian)代獻身(shen)革命(ming)事業的(de)烈士(shi)子女和(he)軍(jun)人子弟(di)。1956年(nian)烈軍(jun)屬子弟(di)學(xue)校送走最后一(yi)批學(xue)生后宣(xuan)布撤銷,原校址改為福(fu)州(zhou)慶城小學(xue),同年(nian),在(zai)小學(xue)基礎(chu)上(shang)(shang)附設初中部,首次招收(shou)初中生。1957年(nian)夏經上(shang)(shang)級(ji)部門批準,正式改名(ming)為福(fu)州(zhou)第十九中學(xue)。
文化大(da)革(ge)命后(hou)期,福州第(di)十九(jiu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學成為(wei)一(yi)所完(wan)全中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學。1981年(nian)(nian)學校高(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)部兼辦(ban)了(le)職(zhi)業(ye)(ye)(ye)高(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),招收服裝、美術、英語專業(ye)(ye)(ye)的(de)學生(sheng)。同(tong)年(nian)(nian),學校又創辦(ban)了(le)附設成人中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)學。1982年(nian)(nian),為(wei)集中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)精力辦(ban)好職(zhi)業(ye)(ye)(ye)高(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),學校高(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)部全部改為(wei)職(zhi)業(ye)(ye)(ye)高(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),辦(ban)學工作得到了(le)原(yuan)省委書記項南同(tong)志(zhi)等(deng)省、市領導的(de)重視和支持。從1981年(nian)(nian)到2004年(nian)(nian),學校同(tong)時(shi)承(cheng)擔初中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)和美術職(zhi)業(ye)(ye)(ye)高(gao)(gao)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)辦(ban)學任務(wu),不僅培養(yang)了(le)一(yi)批(pi)(pi)批(pi)(pi)合格的(de)初中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)畢業(ye)(ye)(ye)生(sheng),還為(wei)社(she)會輸送了(le)一(yi)大(da)批(pi)(pi)優秀(xiu)的(de)美術、服裝專業(ye)(ye)(ye)人才。
1998年9月福(fu)州市(shi)(shi)實施(shi)初招(zhao)改革后,學(xue)校初中辦(ban)(ban)學(xue)規模逐步擴大(da),從原先(xian)的20個(ge)教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)班(ban)增至現(xian)有的58個(ge)教(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)班(ban),在校學(xue)生3000余人。2004年6月,學(xue)校停辦(ban)(ban)職業高中,只承擔初中辦(ban)(ban)學(xue)任務,為福(fu)州市(shi)(shi)教(jiao)(jiao)育局直屬中學(xue)。2005年4月,學(xue)校以(yi)高分通過評(ping)估驗收,并經福(fu)建省教(jiao)(jiao)育廳確認(ren)(ren),定級為“福(fu)建省普通初中示范(fan)學(xue)校”。2012年3月又被(bei)福(fu)州市(shi)(shi)教(jiao)(jiao)育局確認(ren)(ren)為“福(fu)州市(shi)(shi)義務教(jiao)(jiao)育標準化學(xue)校”。
自1998年實施初招改革以來,學(xue)校教學(xue)質量穩步提高,此外(wai),學(xue)校培養的(de)畢業生在高中階段也顯示(shi)出了(le)良好(hao)的(de)發(fa)展(zhan)能力,有不(bu)少(shao)學(xue)子(zi)取得(de)了(le)優異的(de)成績,考入國內外(wai)一流大學(xue)學(xue)府,為母校贏(ying)得(de)了(le)榮譽(yu)。
學校(xiao)(xiao)現有(you)教(jiao)(jiao)職工181人,其中(zhong)專任(ren)教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)160人,碩(shuo)士研(yan)究生學歷20人,本科(ke)(ke)以上學歷教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)占(zhan)95%,中(zhong)、高級教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)占(zhan)60%,另有(you)1位(wei)(wei)省(sheng)(sheng)級學科(ke)(ke)帶頭(tou)人,4位(wei)(wei)省(sheng)(sheng)級骨干(gan)教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi),3位(wei)(wei)市(shi)(shi)級骨干(gan)教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)培訓班(ban)導師(shi)(shi)(shi),3位(wei)(wei)市(shi)(shi)級教(jiao)(jiao)研(yan)員(yuan)(yuan),1位(wei)(wei)市(shi)(shi)級學科(ke)(ke)帶頭(tou)人,19位(wei)(wei)市(shi)(shi)級骨干(gan)教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)。學校(xiao)(xiao)還(huan)擁有(you)獲得全(quan)國模范教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi),全(quan)國、福(fu)建(jian)省(sheng)(sheng)優(you)秀科(ke)(ke)技輔導員(yuan)(yuan),福(fu)建(jian)省(sheng)(sheng)先(xian)(xian)進教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)工作者(zhe),福(fu)建(jian)省(sheng)(sheng)五一勞(lao)動獎章,福(fu)建(jian)省(sheng)(sheng)師(shi)(shi)(shi)德標兵,福(fu)建(jian)省(sheng)(sheng)先(xian)(xian)進德育(yu)工 作者(zhe),福(fu)建(jian)省(sheng)(sheng)優(you)秀班(ban)主任(ren),福(fu)建(jian)省(sheng)(sheng)優(you)秀共青團干(gan)部(bu),福(fu)州(zhou)市(shi)(shi)十(shi)佳(jia)班(ban)主任(ren),福(fu)州(zhou)市(shi)(shi)先(xian)(xian)進教(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)工作者(zhe)等(deng)榮譽稱號的一大(da)批優(you)秀教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)。近年來,學校(xiao)(xiao)還(huan)有(you)十(shi)多位(wei)(wei)教(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)(shi)直(zhi)接參與了福(fu)州(zhou)市(shi)(shi)中(zhong)考命題(ti)工作。
學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)占(zhan)地面積20畝(mu),現(xian)有(you)2座教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)樓(lou)、1座食堂(tang)。校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園內部(bu)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)設施(shi)齊全,擁(yong)有(you)按標準(zhun)化(hua)配備的理、化(hua)、生實驗室,多媒(mei)體(ti)電化(hua)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)室、計算機網(wang)絡教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)室等。每(mei)間教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)室均配有(you)多媒(mei)體(ti)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)設備。學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)建有(you)局域網(wang),并光纖接入(ru)互聯網(wang),教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育手(shou)段(duan)實現(xian)現(xian)代化(hua),并擁(yong)有(you)省級(ji)中學(xue)(xue)(xue)示(shi)范圖書館,現(xian)有(you)藏(zang)書10萬多冊(ce),期刊120種(zhong)。此外(wai),學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)還將新(xin)(xin)建一座14000多平方(fang)米的新(xin)(xin)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)樓(lou)和一個帶塑膠環形跑道的標準(zhun)化(hua)操場。屆時校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)園將呈(cheng)現(xian)出一派嶄新(xin)(xin)的面貌。
學校在(zai)(zai)長期的辦學過程中(zhong)漸次形成了兩大特色:一是(shi)科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu),二是(shi)藝術教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)。學校從(cong)1986年(nian)開(kai)(kai)始開(kai)(kai)展科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)活動,開(kai)(kai)設有(you)“科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)創新”校本課程,是(shi)福建省(sheng)青(qing)少年(nian)科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)重點示范(fan)點,并首批(pi)被福州市(shi)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)局(ju)、福州市(shi)科(ke)(ke)(ke)協命(ming)名為“福州市(shi)科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)示范(fan)學校”。在(zai)(zai)歷(li)屆國(guo)家(jia)級(ji)科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)創新大賽中(zhong),我校學生累計獲得6枚(mei)(mei)金(jin)(jin)牌(pai)、8枚(mei)(mei)銀(yin)牌(pai)、7枚(mei)(mei)銅(tong)牌(pai),并囊括了“宋慶(qing)齡基(ji)(ji)金(jin)(jin)獎(jiang)”“王丹萍(ping)基(ji)(ji)金(jin)(jin)獎(jiang)”“左藤明雄獎(jiang)學金(jin)(jin)”“光(guang)華科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)基(ji)(ji)金(jin)(jin)獎(jiang)”和“中(zhong)信青(qing)少年(nian)發明獎(jiang)”等多項(xiang)專(zhuan)項(xiang)獎(jiang)。另有(you)獲得省(sheng)、市(shi)級(ji)獎(jiang)次共(gong)計200多項(xiang),獲獎(jiang)名次和數量在(zai)(zai)全省(sheng)中(zhong)學名列前茅。中(zhong)央(yang)電視臺及省(sheng)市(shi)電視臺、《福建日報》《福州日報》等多家(jia)新聞媒體曾多次報道了學校開(kai)(kai)展科(ke)(ke)(ke)技(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)(yu)活動的情況
此外,學(xue)(xue)校(xiao)還于2002年(nian)開(kai)辦(ban)了美(mei)術(shu)(shu)特長班,每年(nian)招收50名(ming) 學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),以(yi)點帶面,在校(xiao)內大(da)力開(kai)展藝(yi)(yi)術(shu)(shu)教(jiao)育活動。自創(chuang)辦(ban)以(yi)來(lai),一(yi)大(da)批美(mei)術(shu)(shu)特長生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)在中(zhong)日(ri)藝(yi)(yi)術(shu)(shu)交流、國內各級(ji)各類藝(yi)(yi)術(shu)(shu)比賽及學(xue)(xue)科競賽中(zhong)嶄露(lu)頭角,屢獲(huo)殊(shu)榮。與(yu)此同時,他們在文化(hua)課的(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)習上也(ye)表現優異。在已畢業(ye)的(de)(de)美(mei)術(shu)(shu)特長生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)中(zhong),有(you)四分之三(san)的(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)被(bei)福州一(yi)中(zhong)、三(san)中(zhong)、師大(da)附中(zhong)等八(ba)所(suo)省(sheng)一(yi)級(ji)達(da)標校(xiao)錄取。此外,布滿(man)美(mei)術(shu)(shu)特長生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)書畫作品的(de)(de)藝(yi)(yi)術(shu)(shu)長廊是校(xiao)園(yuan)里的(de)(de)一(yi)道亮麗的(de)(de)文化(hua)風景線,在教(jiao)室、樓道、辦(ban)公室等場所(suo)隨處(chu)可見他們創(chuang)作的(de)(de)書畫作品,從中(zhong)受到感染、啟(qi)發(fa)和激勵。

近年(nian)(nian)(nian)來(lai)(lai)(lai),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)還(huan)積極探索(suo)國(guo)(guo)際化(hua)教(jiao)(jiao)育之(zhi)(zhi)路。自(zi)2013年(nian)(nian)(nian)以來(lai)(lai)(lai),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)先后與來(lai)(lai)(lai)自(zi)日(ri)(ri)本、英國(guo)(guo)、新加(jia)坡(po)等國(guo)(guo)外學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)開(kai)(kai)展一(yi)系列教(jiao)(jiao)育文(wen)化(hua)交(jiao)(jiao)流活動,并(bing)簽署(shu)了校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)際友(you)好(hao)合(he)(he)作(zuo)協議,以有效促(cu)進中(zhong)西方文(wen)化(hua)交(jiao)(jiao)流,增進年(nian)(nian)(nian)輕人之(zhi)(zhi)間的理解和信賴(lai),培養他們(men)成(cheng)為(wei)積極向上的世(shi)界公民。2013年(nian)(nian)(nian)9月(yue)(yue)23日(ri)(ri)—27日(ri)(ri),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)組(zu)織(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)行(xing)(xing)6人隨(sui)“福(fu)州市(shi)(shi)(shi)那霸(ba)市(shi)(shi)(shi)少(shao)兒友(you)好(hao)交(jiao)(jiao)流團(tuan)(tuan)”啟程赴日(ri)(ri)本那霸(ba)市(shi)(shi)(shi)開(kai)(kai)展文(wen)化(hua)交(jiao)(jiao)流活動。2013年(nian)(nian)(nian)10月(yue)(yue)31日(ri)(ri)至(zhi)11月(yue)(yue)1日(ri)(ri),英國(guo)(guo)卡(ka)爾山學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長(chang)帕(pa)特里克·恩蕭(xiao)先生(sheng)(sheng)來(lai)(lai)(lai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)訪(fang)問(wen),并(bing)與學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)簽署(shu)了《校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)際友(you)好(hao)合(he)(he)作(zuo)備忘錄》。2014年(nian)(nian)(nian)4月(yue)(yue)24日(ri)(ri),英國(guo)(guo)蘭開(kai)(kai)夏大學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)孔子學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)院兩位留學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)來(lai)(lai)(lai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)參觀(guan)訪(fang)問(wen)。2014年(nian)(nian)(nian)5月(yue)(yue)13日(ri)(ri),日(ri)(ri)本那霸(ba)市(shi)(shi)(shi)城北中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)少(shao)兒交(jiao)(jiao)流團(tuan)(tuan)一(yi)行(xing)(xing)7人來(lai)(lai)(lai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)參觀(guan)訪(fang)問(wen)。2014年(nian)(nian)(nian)6月(yue)(yue)29日(ri)(ri)—7月(yue)(yue)12日(ri)(ri),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)組(zu)織(zhi)(zhi)師生(sheng)(sheng)一(yi)行(xing)(xing)20人赴英國(guo)(guo)友(you)好(hao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)開(kai)(kai)展課(ke)程體驗夏令營(ying)活動。2014年(nian)(nian)(nian)10月(yue)(yue)30日(ri)(ri),英國(guo)(guo)蘭開(kai)(kai)夏郡中(zhong)央大學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)孔子學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)院中(zhong)小學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長(chang)考察團(tuan)(tuan)一(yi)行(xing)(xing)8人來(lai)(lai)(lai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)參觀(guan)訪(fang)問(wen)。2014年(nian)(nian)(nian)11月(yue)(yue)1日(ri)(ri)—11月(yue)(yue)7日(ri)(ri),英國(guo)(guo)蘭開(kai)(kai)夏郡Park High School文(wen)化(hua)交(jiao)(jiao)流團(tuan)(tuan)來(lai)(lai)(lai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)參觀(guan)訪(fang)問(wen)。2015年(nian)(nian)(nian)4月(yue)(yue)27日(ri)(ri),新加(jia)坡(po)南僑(qiao)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)陳毅(yi)剛校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)長(chang)一(yi)行(xing)(xing)3人來(lai)(lai)(lai)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)訪(fang)問(wen)交(jiao)(jiao)流。兩校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)圍繞“合(he)(he)作(zuo)開(kai)(kai)展推薦中(zhong)國(guo)(guo)初(chu)三(san)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)赴新加(jia)坡(po)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習項目”進行(xing)(xing)了研討(tao),并(bing)達成(cheng)合(he)(he)作(zuo)意向。學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)成(cheng)為(wei)福(fu)建省教(jiao)(jiao)育廳指定的福(fu)州地區唯一(yi)一(yi)所與新加(jia)坡(po)南僑(qiao)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)進行(xing)(xing)這一(yi)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)習項目合(he)(he)作(zuo)的市(shi)(shi)(shi)屬初(chu)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)(xiao)。
2012年(nian)起(qi),學(xue)校(xiao)還與(yu)(yu)福建省(sheng)示范(fan)性(xing)高中(zhong)(zhong)福州(zhou)三(san)中(zhong)(zhong)攜手合(he)作,積極探索聯合(he)辦(ban)學(xue)之路,并(bing)取(qu)得實質(zhi)性(xing)的進(jin)(jin)展,在師(shi)資、教(jiao)研(yan)、資源共享(xiang)等方面簽訂(ding)相關協議,并(bing)有60位學(xue)生(sheng)通過自主招(zhao)生(sheng)方式被福州(zhou)三(san)中(zhong)(zhong)錄取(qu),贏得了(le)良好的社會(hui)反響,為推(tui)動兩校(xiao)的深入合(he)作奠定(ding)了(le)堅實的基礎。2016年(nian)9月,學(xue)校(xiao)將與(yu)(yu)福州(zhou)三(san)中(zhong)(zhong)正式合(he)并(bing)辦(ban)學(xue),成為福州(zhou)三(san)中(zhong)(zhong)初中(zhong)(zhong)部(慶城校(xiao)區)。我們的奮斗(dou)目標是建設一所(suo)“設備現代化(hua),隊伍高水(shui)平,質(zhi)量上一流,特(te)色更(geng)鮮明的省(sheng)級初中(zhong)(zhong)示范(fan)校(xiao)”,為社會(hui)的進(jin)(jin)步培育更(geng)多的人才,為文化(hua)的傳承(cheng)貢獻(xian)更(geng)大(da)的力(li)量。(2015年(nian)10月修訂(ding))
