省(sheng)道(dao)雞圖(tu)(tu)公(gong)(gong)路是(shi)黑龍江省(sheng)東南部(bu)地區通(tong)(tong)(tong)往吉林交通(tong)(tong)(tong)要(yao)道(dao),也是(shi)黑龍江省(sheng)陸(lu)海(hai)聯運國際貿(mao)易(yi)運輸大通(tong)(tong)(tong)道(dao)的組成部(bu)分。雞圖(tu)(tu)公(gong)(gong)路43.5公(gong)(gong)里處,被司機稱作“死亡地帶”。
從40.5公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)里(li)(li)至43.5公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)里(li)(li)是(shi)連(lian)續下坡(po)(po),急彎、多(duo)彎、了望視線(xian)差,尤其是(shi)43.5公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)里(li)(li)路段(duan)的(de)回頭曲(qu)線(xian)向左(zuo)回彎達(da)(da)到(dao)90多(duo)度。夜間(jian)行至此(ci)段(duan)時,駛(shi)過一段(duan)急彎、陡坡(po)(po)后到(dao)達(da)(da)33公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)里(li)(li)處,眼(yan)前是(shi)一條(tiao)平緩筆直的(de)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)路,路上(shang)沒有(you)任何交(jiao)通(tong)標(biao)志,前方(fang)燈火通(tong)明(ming),會誤(wu)以為前方(fang)就是(shi)梨(li)樹區便加(jia)速行駛(shi),但到(dao)44.5公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)里(li)(li)處是(shi)一個急轉彎,此(ci)時剎車(che)(che)(che)(che)、轉向已(yi)來不及,隨(sui)之(zhi)造(zao)成翻車(che)(che)(che)(che)事故。據統計,凡是(shi)在這一路段(duan)發生(sheng)翻車(che)(che)(che)(che)事故的(de)車(che)(che)(che)(che)輛,100%是(shi)駕駛(shi)員第(di)一次來雞(ji)西(xi)的(de)外地車(che)(che)(che)(che)或(huo)超載車(che)(che)(che)(che)。此(ci)段(duan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)路設計的(de)線(xian)形當時只(zhi)適應(ying)小型(xing)(xing)車(che)(che)(che)(che)輛和中型(xing)(xing)載重車(che)(che)(che)(che)輛,達(da)(da)不到(dao)大(da)(da)型(xing)(xing)車(che)(che)(che)(che)輛安(an)全行車(che)(che)(che)(che)的(de)要(yao)求,隨(sui)著(zhu)大(da)(da)型(xing)(xing)加(jia)長載重車(che)(che)(che)(che)輛的(de)急劇增加(jia),這里(li)(li)就成了易發交(jiao)通(tong)事故路段(duan)。距離雞(ji)西(xi)市還(huan)有(you)57公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)里(li)(li)路標(biao)。
