郁孤臺下清(qing)江水,中(zhong)間多少行(xing)人淚。西北望長安,可憐無數(shu)山。
青(qing)山遮不住,畢竟東流去。江晚(wan)正(zheng)愁余,山深(shen)聞鷓鴣。
菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)蠻(man):本(ben)唐教坊曲(qu),后用(yong)為詞牌(pai)(pai),也用(yong)作曲(qu)牌(pai)(pai)。亦作《菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)鬘》,又名《子夜歌》、《重疊金》、《花(hua)溪碧(bi)》、《晚(wan)云(yun)烘(hong)日》等。另(ling)有(you)《菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)蠻(man)引》、《菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)蠻(man)慢》。《菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)蠻(man)》也是曲(qu)牌(pai)(pai)名,屬(shu)北(bei)曲(qu)正宮,字(zi)句格律與詞牌(pai)(pai)前半闋同(tong),用(yong)在套曲(qu)中。
造口(kou):一名皂口(kou),在(zai)江西萬安縣南六十里(li)。
郁(yu)孤臺(tai):今江西省贛州市城區西北部(bu)賀蘭山頂,又稱望(wang)闕臺(tai),因“隆阜郁(yu)然,孤起平地數(shu)丈”得名。清江:贛江與袁江合流處舊(jiu)稱清江。
長安:今陜西(xi)省(sheng)西(xi)安市,為漢(han)唐故(gu)都。此處(chu)代指宋都汴京。宋劉攽《九日》:“可憐西(xi)北望,白日遠長安。”
愁(chou)余:使我發愁(chou)。《楚辭·九歌·湘夫人》:“帝子降兮北(bei)渚,目眇眇兮愁(chou)予(yu)。”
無(wu)數山:很多座山。
鷓鴣:鳥(niao)名。傳說其叫聲如(ru)云“行不得(de)也哥哥”,啼聲凄苦。
郁孤臺(tai)下這贛江的(de)水(shui),水(shui)中有多少行人的(de)眼(yan)淚。我舉頭眺望(wang)西北(bei)的(de)長安(an),可惜只看到(dao)無數(shu)青山。
但青(qing)山(shan)怎能把江(jiang)水(shui)擋住?江(jiang)水(shui)畢(bi)竟還會(hui)向東流去。夕(xi)陽西下我正滿(man)懷(huai)愁(chou)緒,聽到深山(shan)里傳來鷓鴣的鳴(ming)叫聲。
這首詞為(wei)(wei)公元(yuan)1176年(nian)(nian)(宋(song)(song)(song)(song)孝(xiao)宗(zong)(zong)淳(chun)熙三(san)(san)(san)(san)年(nian)(nian))作(zuo)者任江(jiang)西提點刑(xing)獄,駐節贛(gan)州(zhou)(zhou)、途經造(zao)(zao)(zao)口(kou)時所(suo)作(zuo)。關(guan)于此詞之(zhi)發端,羅大(da)經在(zai)《鶴(he)林(lin)玉(yu)露》中(zhong)有(you)幾(ji)句(ju)話非常(chang)重要。《鶴(he)林(lin)玉(yu)露·辛幼(you)安(an)(an)(an)詞》條云:“蓋南渡之(zhi)初,虜(lu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)追(zhui)隆(long)(long)祐太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)御舟(zhou)(zhou)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)造(zao)(zao)(zao)口(kou),不(bu)(bu)及(ji)而還(huan)。幼(you)安(an)(an)(an)自此起興(xing)。”《宋(song)(song)(song)(song)史(shi)(shi)》高宗(zong)(zong)紀及(ji)后(hou)(hou)妃傳(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)載:1129年(nian)(nian)(建(jian)炎(yan)(yan)三(san)(san)(san)(san)年(nian)(nian))八(ba)月(yue),“會防秋迫(po),命(ming)劉(liu)寧止(zhi)制置(zhi)江(jiang)浙,衛(wei)太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)往(wang)洪(hong)州(zhou)(zhou),騰康(kang)、劉(liu)玨權知三(san)(san)(san)(san)省樞密院事(shi)從行。閏八(ba)月(yue),高宗(zong)(zong)亦(yi)(yi)離建(jian)康(kang)(今南京市)赴浙西。時金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)分兩路大(da)舉(ju)南侵,十(shi)(shi)月(yue),西路金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)自黃(huang)州(zhou)(zhou)(今湖北(bei)黃(huang)岡)渡江(jiang),直奔洪(hong)州(zhou)(zhou)追(zhui)隆(long)(long)祐太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)。“康(kang)、玨奉(feng)太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)行次吉州(zhou)(zhou),金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)人(ren)(ren)(ren)追(zhui)急,太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)乘(cheng)舟(zhou)(zhou)夜行。”《三(san)(san)(san)(san)朝(chao)北(bei)盟會編》(建(jian)炎(yan)(yan)三(san)(san)(san)(san)年(nian)(nian)十(shi)(shi)一(yi)月(yue)二(er)十(shi)(shi)三(san)(san)(san)(san)日)載:“質明,至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)和縣(xian)(xian)(去吉州(zhou)(zhou)八(ba)十(shi)(shi)里(li)。《太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)和縣(xian)(xian)志(zhi)》),又(you)進(jin)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)萬(wan)安(an)(an)(an)縣(xian)(xian)(去太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)和一(yi)百里(li)。《萬(wan)安(an)(an)(an)縣(xian)(xian)志(zhi)》),兵(bing)(bing)(bing)衛(wei)不(bu)(bu)滿百人(ren)(ren)(ren),滕康(kang)、劉(liu)玨皆竄山谷中(zhong)。金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)人(ren)(ren)(ren)追(zhui)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)和縣(xian)(xian),太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)乃自萬(wan)安(an)(an)(an)縣(xian)(xian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)皂口(kou),舍(she)舟(zhou)(zhou)而陸,遂幸(xing)虔州(zhou)(zhou)(去萬(wan)安(an)(an)(an)凡(fan)二(er)百四十(shi)(shi)里(li)。《贛(gan)州(zhou)(zhou)府志(zhi)》)。”《宋(song)(song)(song)(song)史(shi)(shi)·后(hou)(hou)妃傳(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)》:“太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)及(ji)潘(pan)妃以(yi)農(nong)夫(fu)肩輿而行。”《宋(song)(song)(song)(song)史(shi)(shi)·胡銓傳(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)》:“銓募鄉兵(bing)(bing)(bing)助(zhu)官(guan)軍捍御金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing),太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)得脫幸(xing)虔。”史(shi)(shi)書所(suo)記(ji)(ji)金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)追(zhui)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)和,與(yu)(yu)羅氏所(suo)記(ji)(ji)追(zhui)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)造(zao)(zao)(zao)口(kou)稍(shao)有(you)不(bu)(bu)合。但羅氏為(wei)(wei)南宋(song)(song)(song)(song)廬陵人(ren)(ren)(ren),又(you)曾任江(jiang)西撫州(zhou)(zhou)軍事(shi)推官(guan),其所(suo)記(ji)(ji)信實與(yu)(yu)否(fou),尚不(bu)(bu)妨存疑。況且金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)既至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)和,其前(qian)鋒追(zhui)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)南一(yi)百六十(shi)(shi)里(li)之(zhi)造(zao)(zao)(zao)口(kou),也未始無(wu)(wu)此可能。無(wu)(wu)論金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)是否(fou)追(zhui)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)造(zao)(zao)(zao)口(kou),隆(long)(long)祐太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)后(hou)(hou)被(bei)追(zhui)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)造(zao)(zao)(zao)口(kou)時情勢危急,以(yi)致舍(she)舟(zhou)(zhou)以(yi)農(nong)夫(fu)肩輿而行,此是鐵(tie)案,史(shi)(shi)無(wu)(wu)異辭。尤要者,應知隆(long)(long)祐其人(ren)(ren)(ren)并建(jian)炎(yan)(yan)年(nian)(nian)間形勢。當(dang)(dang)公元(yuan)1127年(nian)(nian)(北(bei)宋(song)(song)(song)(song)靖康(kang)二(er)年(nian)(nian))金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)入(ru)汴擄(lu)徽欽二(er)宗(zong)(zong)北(bei)去,北(bei)宋(song)(song)(song)(song)滅亡之(zhi)際,隆(long)(long)祐以(yi)廢后(hou)(hou)幸(xing)免,垂簾聽政,迎立康(kang)王,是為(wei)(wei)高宗(zong)(zong)。有(you)人(ren)(ren)(ren)請立皇(huang)太(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)子,隆(long)(long)祐拒(ju)之(zhi)。《宋(song)(song)(song)(song)史(shi)(shi)·后(hou)(hou)妃傳(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)》記(ji)(ji)其言曰(yue)(yue):“今強敵在(zai)外(wai),我(wo)以(yi)婦人(ren)(ren)(ren)抱三(san)(san)(san)(san)歲小兒聽政,將何以(yi)令天(tian)下(xia)?”其告天(tian)下(xia)手詔曰(yue)(yue):“雖舉(ju)族有(you)北(bei)轅之(zhi)恤,而敷天(tian)同左(zuo)袒之(zhi)心。”又(you)曰(yue)(yue):“漢家之(zhi)厄十(shi)(shi)世(shi),宜光武之(zhi)中(zhong)興(xing);獻(xian)公之(zhi)子九人(ren)(ren)(ren),唯重耳之(zhi)獨在(zai)。”《鶴(he)林(lin)玉(yu)露·建(jian)炎(yan)(yan)登(deng)極(ji)》條云:“事(shi)詞的切,讀之(zhi)感動,蓋中(zhong)興(xing)之(zhi)一(yi)助(zhu)也。”陳寅恪《論再生緣》亦(yi)(yi)謂(wei):“維系人(ren)(ren)(ren)心,抵御外(wai)侮”,“所(suo)以(yi)為(wei)(wei)當(dang)(dang)時及(ji)后(hou)(hou)世(shi)所(suo)傳(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)誦(song)。”故史(shi)(shi)稱(cheng)隆(long)(long)祐:“國有(you)事(shi)變,必(bi)此人(ren)(ren)(ren)當(dang)(dang)之(zhi)。”建(jian)炎(yan)(yan)三(san)(san)(san)(san)年(nian)(nian),西路金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)窮追(zhui)隆(long)(long)祐,東路金(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)(jin)兵(bing)(bing)(bing)則(ze)渡江(jiang)陷建(jian)康(kang)、臨(lin)安(an)(an)(an),高宗(zong)(zong)被(bei)迫(po)浮舟(zhou)(zhou)海上。此誠南宋(song)(song)(song)(song)政權出存亡危急之(zhi)秋。故當(dang)(dang)作(zuo)者身臨(lin)造(zao)(zao)(zao)口(kou),懷想隆(long)(long)祐被(bei)追(zhui)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)此,“因此感興(xing) ”,題(ti)詞于壁,實情理之(zhi)所(suo)必(bi)然。羅氏所(suo)記(ji)(ji)大(da)體可信,詞題(ti)六字即為(wei)(wei)本證。
公元1175至1176年(nian)(淳熙二、三年(nian))間,辛棄疾任江西(xi)提點刑獄,經常(chang)巡回往復于(yu)湖南、江西(xi)等地。來(lai)到造口,俯瞰(kan)不舍晝(zhou)夜流逝而(er)去的江水,詞人的思(si)緒(xu)也似這江水般波瀾起伏,綿延不絕,于(yu)是寫下了這首詞。
辛(xin)棄疾(1140-1207),南(nan)(nan)宋詞人(ren)。字幼安(an),號稼(jia)軒(xuan),歷城(今山東(dong)(dong)濟南(nan)(nan))人(ren)。二(er)十(shi)一歲(sui)(sui)參加抗(kang)金義軍,曾任耿京軍的掌書記,不久投歸南(nan)(nan)宋。歷任江(jiang)陰簽(qian)判,建康(kang)通判,江(jiang)西提點(dian)刑獄,湖南(nan)(nan)、湖北轉運使(shi),湖南(nan)(nan)、江(jiang)西安(an)撫(fu)使(shi)等職。四十(shi)二(er)歲(sui)(sui)遭讒落職,退居江(jiang)西信州,長達二(er)十(shi)年之久,其(qi)間一度起為福(fu)建提點(dian)刑獄、福(fu)建安(an)撫(fu)使(shi)。六十(shi)四歲(sui)(sui)再起為浙(zhe)東(dong)(dong)安(an)撫(fu)使(shi)、鎮江(jiang)知府,不久罷(ba)歸。一生力主抗(kang)金北伐,并(bing)提出(chu)有(you)關方(fang)略(lve),均未被采納。其(qi)詞熱情洋溢、慷慨激昂,富有(you)愛國感情。有(you)《稼(jia)軒(xuan)長短句(ju)》以(yi)及今人(ren)輯本《辛(xin)稼(jia)軒(xuan)詩文鈔存》。
辛(xin)棄疾此首《菩薩蠻》,用(yong)極(ji)高(gao)明(ming)之比興藝(yi)術,寫極(ji)深沉之愛國情思,無愧(kui)為詞(ci)中瑰寶。
詞題(ti)“書江(jiang)(jiang)西(xi)造口(kou)壁”,起(qi)寫(xie)郁孤(gu)臺(tai)與清江(jiang)(jiang)。造口(kou)一名皂(zao)口(kou),在江(jiang)(jiang)西(xi)萬安(an)縣西(xi)南六十里(《萬安(an)縣志(zhi)》)。詞中(zhong)的郁孤(gu)臺(tai)在贛(gan)(gan)(gan)州(zhou)(zhou)城西(xi)北角(jiao)(《嘉靖贛(gan)(gan)(gan)州(zhou)(zhou)府志(zhi)圖》),因“隆阜郁然(ran),孤(gu)起(qi)平(ping)地數丈”得(de)名。“唐李(li)勉為虔州(zhou)(zhou)(即(ji)贛(gan)(gan)(gan)州(zhou)(zhou))剌史時,登臨北望(wang),慨然(ran)曰:‘余雖(sui)不及子牟,而心(xin)在魏闕一也。’改郁孤(gu)為望(wang)闕。”(《方輿勝覽(lan)》)清江(jiang)(jiang)即(ji)贛(gan)(gan)(gan)江(jiang)(jiang)。章、貢二水抱贛(gan)(gan)(gan)州(zhou)(zhou)城而流,至郁孤(gu)臺(tai)下(xia)匯為贛(gan)(gan)(gan)江(jiang)(jiang)北流,經造口(kou)、萬安(an)、太和、吉(ji)州(zhou)(zhou)(治廬陵(ling),今吉(ji)安(an))、隆興府(即(ji)洪州(zhou)(zhou),今南昌(chang)市),入(ru)鄱陽(yang)湖(hu)注入(ru)長(chang)江(jiang)(jiang)。
“郁(yu)孤(gu)臺下(xia)清江(jiang)(jiang)水(shui)。”起筆橫絕。由(you)于漢字形、聲(sheng)、義具(ju)體可感(gan)(gan)(gan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)特質,尤(you)其郁(yu)有(you)(you)(you)郁(yu)勃、沉(chen)郁(yu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)意,孤(gu)有(you)(you)(you)巍(wei)巍(wei)獨(du)(du)(du)立之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)感(gan)(gan)(gan),郁(yu)孤(gu)臺三字劈面便(bian)凸(tu)起一(yi)座(zuo)郁(yu)然(ran)孤(gu)峙之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)高臺。詞(ci)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)調動此(ci)三字打頭陣,顯然(ran)有(you)(you)(you)滿腔磅礴之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)激(ji)憤,勢不能不用此(ci)突(tu)兀(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)筆也。進而(er)寫出(chu)臺下(xia)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)清江(jiang)(jiang)水(shui)。《萬(wan)安(an)縣志》云(yun):“贛水(shui)入萬(wan)安(an)境(jing),初落平廣,奔(ben)激(ji)響溜。”寫出(chu)此(ci)一(yi)江(jiang)(jiang)激(ji)流(liu),詞(ci)境(jing)遂從百余里(li)外之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)郁(yu)孤(gu)臺,順勢收至眼前之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)造(zao)(zao)口。造(zao)(zao)口,詞(ci)境(jing)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)核(he)心(xin)也。故又縱筆寫出(chu):“中(zhong)間多(duo)少行(xing)(xing)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)淚(lei)。”行(xing)(xing)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)淚(lei)三字,直(zhi)點造(zao)(zao)口當年事(shi)。詞(ci)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)身(shen)臨隆(long)祐太后被追之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)地,痛感(gan)(gan)(gan)建(jian)炎(yan)國(guo)脈如(ru)縷之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)危,憤金兵之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)猖(chang)狂,羞國(guo)恥(chi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)未雪,乃將滿懷之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)悲(bei)憤,化為此(ci)悲(bei)涼之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)句。在詞(ci)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)心(xin)魂中(zhong),此(ci)一(yi)江(jiang)(jiang)流(liu)水(shui),竟為行(xing)(xing)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)流(liu)不盡(jin)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)傷(shang)心(xin)淚(lei)。行(xing)(xing)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)淚(lei)意蘊深廣,不必專言隆(long)祐。在建(jian)炎(yan)年間四海南奔(ben)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)際,自中(zhong)原至江(jiang)(jiang)淮而(er)江(jiang)(jiang)南,不知(zhi)有(you)(you)(you)多(duo)少行(xing)(xing)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)流(liu)下(xia)無數(shu)傷(shang)心(xin)淚(lei)啊(a)。由(you)此(ci)想來(lai),便(bian)覺(jue)隆(long)祐被追至造(zao)(zao)口,又正是那一(yi)存(cun)亡危急之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)秋之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)象(xiang)征。無疑此(ci)一(yi)江(jiang)(jiang)行(xing)(xing)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)淚(lei)中(zhong),也有(you)(you)(you)詞(ci)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)悲(bei)淚(lei)啊(a)。“西(xi)北望(wang)長(chang)安(an),可憐無數(shu)山(shan)。”長(chang)安(an)指汴(bian)(bian)京(jing),西(xi)北望(wang)猶(you)言直(zhi)北望(wang)。詞(ci)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)因回想隆(long)祐被追而(er)念(nian)及神州(zhou)陸沉(chen),獨(du)(du)(du)立造(zao)(zao)口仰(yang)望(wang)汴(bian)(bian)京(jing)亦猶(you)杜(du)老之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)獨(du)(du)(du)立夔(kui)州(zhou)仰(yang)望(wang)長(chang)安(an)。抬望(wang)眼,遙望(wang)長(chang)安(an),境(jing)界頓時無限高遠(yuan)。然(ran)而(er),可惜(xi)有(you)(you)(you)無數(shu)青(qing)山(shan)重重遮攔(lan),望(wang)不見也,境(jing)界遂一(yi)變而(er)為具(ju)有(you)(you)(you)封閉(bi)式之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)意味(wei),頓挫極有(you)(you)(you)力(li)。歇拍雖暗用李勉登郁(yu)孤(gu)臺望(wang)闕(que)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)故事(shi),卻(que)寫出(chu)自己之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)滿懷忠憤。
“青山(shan)(shan)遮(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)住,畢竟東(dong)(dong)流(liu)(liu)去(qu)(qu)。”贛江北流(liu)(liu),此言(yan)(yan)東(dong)(dong)流(liu)(liu),詞(ci)(ci)人(ren)寫(xie)(xie)胸(xiong)懷,正不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)必(bi)拘泥。無(wu)(wu)數(shu)青山(shan)(shan)雖(sui)可(ke)遮(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)住長(chang)安,但終究遮(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)住一(yi)(yi)(yi)江之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)水(shui)(shui)向(xiang)東(dong)(dong)流(liu)(liu)。換(huan)頭(tou)是寫(xie)(xie)眼前景,若(ruo)言(yan)(yan)有(you)寄托(tuo)(tuo),則似難(nan)以(yi)指(zhi)實(shi)(shi)。若(ruo)言(yan)(yan)無(wu)(wu)寄托(tuo)(tuo),則遮(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)住與畢竟二語,又明顯帶有(you)感情(qing)色彩。周濟(ji)云(yun)(yun):“借水(shui)(shui)怨山(shan)(shan)。”可(ke)謂具眼。此詞(ci)(ci)句句不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)離山(shan)(shan)水(shui)(shui)。試體(ti)味(wei)“遮(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)住”三(san)字(zi)(zi),將(jiang)青山(shan)(shan)周匝圍(wei)堵(du)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)感一(yi)(yi)(yi)筆推去(qu)(qu),“畢竟”二字(zi)(zi)更見深(shen)沉有(you)力。返觀上闋,清(qing)江水(shui)(shui)既(ji)為(wei)行人(ren)淚之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)象(xiang)喻,則東(dong)(dong)流(liu)(liu)去(qu)(qu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)江水(shui)(shui)如(ru)有(you)所(suo)喻,當(dang)(dang)喻祖國(guo)一(yi)(yi)(yi)方。無(wu)(wu)數(shu)青山(shan)(shan),詞(ci)(ci)人(ren)既(ji)嘆其(qi)遮(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)住長(chang)安,更道(dao)出其(qi)遮(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)住東(dong)(dong)流(liu)(liu),則其(qi)所(suo)喻當(dang)(dang)指(zhi)敵人(ren)。在詞(ci)(ci)人(ren)潛(qian)意(yi)(yi)識(shi)中(zhong),當(dang)(dang)并(bing)(bing)指(zhi)投降派。“東(dong)(dong)流(liu)(liu)去(qu)(qu)”三(san)字(zi)(zi)尤可(ke)體(ti)味(wei)。《尚書·禹貢》云(yun)(yun):“江漢朝宗(zong)于海。”在中(zhong)國(guo)文化傳(chuan)統中(zhong),江河行地與日月經(jing)(jing)天(tian)同為(wei)“天(tian)行健”之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)體(ti)現,故“君子(zi)以(yi)自強不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)息(xi)”(《息(xi)·系辭》)。杜甫(fu)《長(chang)江二首》云(yun)(yun):“朝宗(zong)人(ren)共挹,盜賊爾誰尊?”“浩浩終不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)息(xi),乃知東(dong)(dong)極臨。眾流(liu)(liu)歸海意(yi)(yi),萬國(guo)奉君心。”故必(bi)言(yan)(yan)寄托(tuo)(tuo),則換(huan)頭(tou)托(tuo)(tuo)意(yi)(yi),當(dang)(dang)以(yi)江水(shui)(shui)東(dong)(dong)流(liu)(liu)喻正義所(suo)向(xiang)也。然而時(shi)局(ju)并(bing)(bing)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)樂觀,詞(ci)(ci)人(ren)心情(qing)并(bing)(bing)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)輕松。“江晚正愁(chou)余(yu)(yu),山(shan)(shan)深(shen)聞(wen)鷓(zhe)鴣。”詞(ci)(ci)情(qing)詞(ci)(ci)境又作一(yi)(yi)(yi)大頓挫(cuo)。江晚山(shan)(shan)深(shen),此一(yi)(yi)(yi)暮色蒼茫又具封閉式意(yi)(yi)味(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)境界(jie),無(wu)(wu)異(yi)為(wei)詞(ci)(ci)人(ren)沉郁苦悶(men)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)孤懷寫(xie)(xie)照,而暗應合上闋開頭(tou)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)郁孤臺意(yi)(yi)象(xiang)。“正愁(chou)余(yu)(yu)”,語本(ben)《楚(chu)辭·九(jiu)歌·湘(xiang)夫(fu)人(ren)》:“目眇(miao)眇(miao)兮(xi)愁(chou)予。”楚(chu)騷哀怨要眇(miao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)色調,愈(yu)添意(yi)(yi)境沉郁凄迷(mi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)氛圍(wei)。更哪堪聞(wen)亂山(shan)(shan)深(shen)處(chu)鷓(zhe)鴣聲聲:“行不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得也哥哥”。《禽經(jing)(jing)》張華注:“鷓(zhe)鴣飛必(bi)南(nan)(nan)向(xiang),其(qi)志懷南(nan)(nan),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)徂北也。”白居易(yi)《山(shan)(shan)鷓(zhe)鴣》:“啼(ti)到曉,唯能愁(chou)北人(ren),南(nan)(nan)人(ren)慣聞(wen)如(ru)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)聞(wen)。”鷓(zhe)鴣聲聲,是呼(hu)喚詞(ci)(ci)人(ren)莫忘南(nan)(nan)歸之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)懷抱,還是勾起(qi)其(qi)志業未就之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)忠憤,或如(ru)山(shan)(shan)那畔中(zhong)原父老同胞之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)哀告,實(shi)(shi)難(nan)作一(yi)(yi)(yi)指(zhi)實(shi)(shi)。但結(jie)筆寫(xie)(xie)出一(yi)(yi)(yi)懷愁(chou)苦則可(ke)斷(duan)言(yan)(yan)。而此一(yi)(yi)(yi)懷愁(chou)苦,實(shi)(shi)朝廷一(yi)(yi)(yi)味(wei)妥協,中(zhong)原久未光復有(you)以(yi)致(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),亦(yi)可(ke)斷(duan)言(yan)(yan)。
此詞(ci)抒發(fa)對建炎(yan)年間國(guo)事(shi)艱危之(zhi)(zhi)沉痛追(zhui)懷,對靖(jing)康(kang)以來失去國(guo)土之(zhi)(zhi)深情縈念,故此一(yi)(yi)(yi)習用已(yi)久隱寫兒(er)女(nv)柔情之(zhi)(zhi)小令(ling),竟為南宋愛(ai)國(guo)精神深沉凝聚之(zhi)(zhi)絕唱。詞(ci)中運用比興手法(fa),以眼前景道心上事(shi),達到比興傳(chuan)統意內言外之(zhi)(zhi)極高(gao)(gao)境(jing)界。其眼前景不過是清江(jiang)水、無數山,心上事(shi)則包舉家國(guo)之(zhi)(zhi)悲今昔之(zhi)(zhi)感種(zhong)種(zhong)意念,而(er)一(yi)(yi)(yi)并托諸眼前景寫出。顯(xian)有寄托,又(you)(you)難以一(yi)(yi)(yi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)指實。但其主要(yao)寓(yu)托則可(ke)體認(ren),其一(yi)(yi)(yi)懷襟抱亦可(ke)領會。此種(zhong)以全(quan)幅意境(jing)寓(yu)寫整個襟抱、運用比興寄托又(you)(you)未必一(yi)(yi)(yi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)指實之(zhi)(zhi)藝術(shu)造詣(yi),實為中國(guo)美(mei)學(xue)理(li)想(xiang)之(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)體現。全(quan)詞(ci)一(yi)(yi)(yi)片神行又(you)(you)潛氣內轉,兼有神理(li)高(gao)(gao)絕與沉郁頓挫之(zhi)(zhi)美(mei),在詞(ci)史上完全(quan)可(ke)與李太(tai)白同調詞(ci)相媲美(mei)。
卓人(ren)月評此(ci)詞云:“忠憤(fen)之氣,拂拂指端(duan)。”(《詞統》)
明(ming)沈(shen)際飛《草堂詩馀正(zheng)集(ji)》:“無(wu)數(shu)山水(shui),無(wu)數(shu)悲憤。伊文公云:若朝廷賞罰明(ming),此(ci)等人皆可用。”
清陳廷(ting)焯(zhuo)《云韶集》:“血淚淋漓,古今讓其(qi)獨步。結二語號呼痛(tong)哭,音(yin)節之悲(bei),至(zhi)今猶隱隱在(zai)耳。”
周(zhou)濟《宋四家詞選(xuan)》:“借水怨山(shan)。”
唐圭璋(zhang)《唐宋詞(ci)(ci)簡(jian)釋》:“此(ci)首《書江西造口壁》,不假雕(diao)繪(hui),自抒(shu)悲(bei)憤。小詞(ci)(ci)而蒼莽悲(bei)壯如此(ci),誠(cheng)不多見(jian)。蓋以真情郁勃,而又有(you)氣魄足以暢發其情。起從近處寫水,次從遠處寫山。下片,將山水打成一片,慨嘆(tan)不盡。末以愁聞(wen)鷓(zhe)鴣作結,尤覺無限悲(bei)憤。”
梁啟(qi)超評此(ci)詞云:“《菩薩蠻(man)》如此(ci)大聲鏜鞳,未曾有也。”(《藝(yi)蘅館詞選》)
