北京市(shi)第七中學(xue)(xue)(xue)位于(yu)西城區德勝門外安德路,是一(yi)所有(you)(you)著悠久歷史和(he)優良傳統辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)質量較高的普(pu)通完全中學(xue)(xue)(xue)。其前身是始(shi)(shi)建于(yu)一(yi)九三一(yi)年秋的北平(ping)市(shi)私立(li)鏡(jing)湖(hu)中學(xue)(xue)(xue)。一(yi)九四(si)一(yi)年改為北京市(shi)公立(li)第七中學(xue)(xue)(xue)。解(jie)放后,改稱為現(xian)校(xiao)名。幾經(jing)變遷(qian)(qian),于(yu)一(yi)九五(wu)四(si)年秋遷(qian)(qian)到安德路69號。學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)把沒有(you)(you)愛就(jiu)沒有(you)(you)教(jiao)育,沒有(you)(you)興趣就(jiu)沒有(you)(you)教(jiao)育,沒有(you)(you)嚴(yan)格就(jiu)沒有(you)(you)教(jiao)育,沒有(you)(you)贊揚就(jiu)沒有(you)(you)教(jiao)育作為辦學(xue)(xue)(xue)、實施(shi)教(jiao)育教(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)的指導思想。近年來學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)始(shi)(shi)終把基礎管理、科學(xue)(xue)(xue)規范(fan)、創造和(he)諧校(xiao)園、和(he)諧師(shi)生關系放在首位,把傳統教(jiao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)與現(xian)代信息技術有(you)(you)機結(jie)合(he),堅(jian)(jian)持創新(xin),堅(jian)(jian)持嚴(yan)、細、實的原則,使學(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)面貌(mao)煥然一(yi)新(xin),呈現(xian)出(chu)一(yi)派勃(bo)勃(bo)生機。

學校是北(bei)京(jing)市(shi)衛生紅旗單位、文明(ming)校園、西城區(qu)科技示范校、北(bei)京(jing)教育學院(yuan)實驗基地、北(bei)京(jing)市(shi)足球傳(chuan)統項目(mu)重(zhong)點(dian)校、區(qu)綜合管理優類校和區(qu)教學管理達標校。
