建筑結構
該寺座(zuo)北面南(nan),兩進(jin)院,創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)于北宋(song)(song)開寶四年(971),歷代(dai)(dai)屢(lv)有修葺。現存(cun)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)有山(shan)門、中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)佛殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、后殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、鐘(zhong)鼓樓(lou)及東西配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、兩廡等。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為宋(song)(song)代(dai)(dai)早期建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu),后殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為明(ming)代(dai)(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu),其余建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)為清代(dai)(dai)遺物。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)佛殿(dian)(dian)(dian),居院內(nei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)央,雄健古樸,穩重(zhong)壯觀。據寺內(nei)現存(cun)宋(song)(song)淳化(hua)二年(991)碑文記(ji)載,創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)于宋(song)(song)《營造法式》頒行之前的北宋(song)(song)開寶年間(jian)。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)身面闊三間(jian),進(jin)深六椽,單檐(yan)九脊頂,筒板布瓦(wa)蓋頂,上(shang)(shang)(shang)施琉璃吻獸。該殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在許多(duo)地方沿襲唐制(zhi),柱頭無普(pu)柏杭。斗(dou)(dou)拱七(qi)鋪作(zuo),雙(shuang)抄雙(shuang)下(xia)昂(ang)(ang),昂(ang)(ang)為批(pi)竹(zhu)式,昂(ang)(ang)尾(wei)壓在四椽袱下(xia)皮。補間(jian)斗(dou)(dou)拱五(wu)鋪作(zuo),雙(shuang)抄偷心造,下(xia)部(bu)無櫨斗(dou)(dou)和直斗(dou)(dou)與唐代(dai)(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)五(wu)臺山(shan)佛光寺東大殿(dian)(dian)(dian)一致。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)梁(liang)架(jia)徹(che)上(shang)(shang)(shang)露明(ming)造,使用(yong)(yong)(yong)的一對(dui)(dui)“斷梁(liang)”,結(jie)構奇特(te),是(shi)(shi)民間(jian)匠師獨(du)特(te)的創(chuang)造,這在建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)史上(shang)(shang)(shang)具有較(jiao)高的實(shi)踐意義。斷梁(liang)是(shi)(shi)利用(yong)(yong)(yong)兩根直徑、長短相等的短梁(liang)對(dui)(dui)接成,“斷梁(liang)”正(zheng)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)縫下(xia),用(yong)(yong)(yong)順(shun)袱來承托,兩端架(jia)于前后檐(yan)柱斗(dou)(dou)拱后尾(wei)上(shang)(shang)(shang),并(bing)將尾(wei)蓋重(zhong)力平(ping)衡到前后檐(yan)柱之上(shang)(shang)(shang),這一建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)特(te)點是(shi)(shi)古代(dai)(dai)匠師因材設計:小村(cun)大用(yong)(yong)(yong)的獨(du)特(te)創(chuang)舉。三間(jian)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)宇,七(qi)鋪作(zuo)斗(dou)(dou)拱,出檐(yan)之深遠,又超過了五(wu)代(dai)(dai)時期的建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)平(ping)遙鎮國(guo)寺萬(wan)佛殿(dian)(dian)(dian),其建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)風格當屬古制(zhi)。崇明(ming)寺中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)佛殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)風格上(shang)(shang)(shang)沿襲唐風,并(bing)且結(jie)構獨(du)特(te),可謂我國(guo)古代(dai)(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)一枝獨(du)放的奇花,具有很(hen)高的建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)藝術價值。

道光《修武縣志·金石志》記載有兩通(tong)關(guan)于崇(chong)明石的(de)(de)古碑(bei)(bei),一(yi)通(tong)為(wei)至正(zheng)十(shi)年(nian)(1350年(nian))元(yuan)代禮(li)部郎(lang)(lang)中張(zhang)琬(wan)撰的(de)(de)《五里(li)(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)明寺(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei)》(以下(xia)(xia)(xia)簡稱張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)(bei)),一(yi)通(tong)為(wei)嘉靖十(shi)三年(nian)(1534年(nian))明代禮(li)部侍郎(lang)(lang)何瑭(tang)撰的(de)(de)《重(zhong)修五里(li)(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)明寺(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei)》(以下(xia)(xia)(xia)簡稱何瑭(tang)碑(bei)(bei)),張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)(bei)云“茲寺(si)(si),大禪(chan)師(shi)稠(chou)(chou)公之(zhi)所創”,何瑭(tang)碑(bei)(bei)云“屯西(xi)南有崇(chong)明寺(si)(si),蓋禪(chan)師(shi)稠(chou)(chou)公之(zhi)所建(jian)也(ye)”,兩碑(bei)(bei)都認(ren)為(wei)此寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)創建(jian)者為(wei)稠(chou)(chou)禪(chan)師(shi)。稠(chou)(chou)禪(chan)師(shi),稠(chou)(chou)禪(chan)師(shi)(510~585),名慧,北朝(chao)魏齊(qi)間鄴(今(jin)河北臨漳縣西(xi))人。他是(shi)我國歷史上(shang)最早(zao)有文獻記載的(de)(de)佛(fo)門著名武僧和少林寺(si)(si)二祖。北齊(qi)天寶(bao)七年(nian)(557年(nian)),稠(chou)(chou)禪(chan)師(shi)奉文宣帝旨意,在(zai)太行(xing)山(shan)一(yi)帶(dai)沿山(shan)建(jian)寺(si)(si)二十(shi)多所,在(zai)天門山(shan)腰首建(jian)大護(hu)國仁王寺(si)(si),即今(jin)天的(de)(de)百家巖(yan)寺(si)(si)。又據張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)(bei),其(qi)篆額有“百巖(yan)崇(chong)明寺(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei),大護(hu)國仁王寺(si)(si)下(xia)(xia)(xia)院(yuan)”,則知五里(li)(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)明寺(si)(si)為(wei)百家巖(yan)寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)下(xia)(xia)(xia)院(yuan),其(qi)建(jian)寺(si)(si)年(nian)代也(ye)當在(zai)北齊(qi)天寶(bao)年(nian)間。據此推算,崇(chong)明寺(si)(si)已(yi)有1450多年(nian)的(de)(de)歷史。
崇(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)建成(cheng)(cheng)后,因其(qi)位于縣(xian)(xian)城(cheng)和百(bai)(bai)家巖(yan)正(zheng)中(zhong),且是縣(xian)(xian)城(cheng)去百(bai)(bai)家巖(yan)的必經(jing)之處(chu),因此無論善男(nan)信女(nv)還是文人騷客,慕名(ming)(ming)前(qian)往百(bai)(bai)家巖(yan)的,無不先(xian)到崇(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)或先(xian)禮佛,或作小憩,又因這里(li)風(feng)景絕(jue)佳,由此崇(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)之名(ming)(ming)大噪(zao),遂成(cheng)(cheng)一處(chu)名(ming)(ming)剎兼名(ming)(ming)勝(sheng)。張(zhang)琬(wan)碑稱其(qi)“負(fu)太(tai)行而揖嵩少,東(dong)(dong)連(lian)乎蘇門、百(bai)(bai)泉(quan)(quan)之幽勝(sheng),西(xi)接(jie)乎濟水、盤谷之清雅(ya),風(feng)氣(qi)淳淑,民(min)物(wu)繁伙,加以水竹(zhu)之明(ming)(ming)秀,村落之旁午,稻塍蔬圃,雞(ji)犬(quan)相聞,故高人勝(sheng)士(shi)聯鏕并駕,游詠不乏,盛境振名(ming)(ming)于懷衛(wei)”,贊(zan)其(qi)為“實(shi)中(zhong)土之杰區,空門之福地”,而何瑭碑則(ze)記其(qi)“北負(fu)太(tai)行,東(dong)(dong)連(lian)百(bai)(bai)泉(quan)(quan),西(xi)去海(hai)蟾宮(gong)里(li)許,宮(gong)之前(qian)有泉(quan)(quan)涌出,下流寺(si)側(ce),蓋寧城(cheng)之勝(sheng)地也(ye)”。
崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)代(dai)有(you)(you)(you)(you)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)葺,有(you)(you)(you)(you)明(ming)(ming)確(que)記(ji)(ji)載的(de)有(you)(you)(you)(you):至(zhi)正年(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),住持僧(seng)(seng)因(yin)資(zi)(zi)、因(yin)全(quan)重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)。因(yin)資(zi)(zi)俗(su)姓(xing)霍氏(shi),河內(nei)人,出家(jia)(jia)于(yu)河內(nei)天圣院(yuan);因(yin)全(quan),俗(su)姓(xing)師(shi)氏(shi),清(qing)華人,為(wei)(wei)因(yin)資(zi)(zi)師(shi)弟,因(yin)資(zi)(zi)圓(yuan)寂后(hou)繼(ji)任本(ben)寺(si)(si)住持。此(ci)次重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)時(shi)(shi)的(de)翰林文字(zi)同知兼國史(shi)院(yuan)編(bian)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)官(guan)奉議(yi)大(da)(da)夫禮(li)部(bu)郎(lang)中(zhong)張琬為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)作記(ji)(ji)。明(ming)(ming)代(dai)成化年(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),僧(seng)(seng)官(guan)祥(xiang)俊及(ji)其弟子(zi)妙淳、妙慶重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)時(shi)(shi)的(de)河南(nan)按察使楊(yang)徽為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)作記(ji)(ji);嘉靖二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1523年(nian)(nian)(nian)),由(you)當(dang)(dang)地(di)(di)耆老(lao)杭鑒及(ji)其子(zi)杭彪州(zhou)捐銀一(yi)(yi)百(bai)兩(liang)及(ji)當(dang)(dang)地(di)(di)信士共(gong)同資(zi)(zi)助,本(ben)寺(si)(si)住持廣堅、清(qing)應等(deng)主持重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),歷時(shi)(shi)兩(liang)年(nian)(nian)(nian)半(ban),于(yu)嘉靖四年(nian)(nian)(nian)十月完工,重(zhong)(zhong)建雷(lei)音殿(dian)五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)、伽藍殿(dian)三間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)、東西方丈六間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。此(ci)次重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)時(shi)(shi)的(de)禮(li)部(bu)右侍郎(lang)何瑭為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)作記(ji)(ji)。另據道光(guang)(guang)《修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)武(wu)縣志·寺(si)(si)觀附》記(ji)(ji)載,百(bai)家(jia)(jia)巖(yan)寺(si)(si)曾(ceng)一(yi)(yi)度傾廢,其僧(seng)(seng)眾皆(jie)居(ju)于(yu)五(wu)(wu)里源之(zhi)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si),由(you)此(ci)可見(jian)當(dang)(dang)時(shi)(shi)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)規模之(zhi)盛。但(dan)至(zhi)道光(guang)(guang)年(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),雖然該寺(si)(si)頗具(ju)“花(hua)木竹(zhu)柏(bo)之(zhi)勝”,但(dan)已墻(qiang)垣頹敗,寺(si)(si)僧(seng)(seng)寥落無存。其后(hou)有(you)(you)(you)(you)無重(zhong)(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),不(bu)得而知。2001年(nian)(nian)(nian),五(wu)(wu)里源村有(you)(you)(you)(you)心(xin)之(zhi)士根(gen)據當(dang)(dang)地(di)(di)老(lao)年(nian)(nian)(nian)人的(de)回憶(yi),繪制了民國時(shi)(shi)期的(de)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)示意圖,閱圖可知,當(dang)(dang)年(nian)(nian)(nian)的(de)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)有(you)(you)(you)(you)山門一(yi)(yi)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),東西廊廡各(ge)五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),中(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)三間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),大(da)(da)佛(fo)殿(dian)五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),中(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)東南(nan)有(you)(you)(you)(you)鐘樓一(yi)(yi)座,大(da)(da)佛(fo)殿(dian)東側有(you)(you)(you)(you)觀音殿(dian)一(yi)(yi)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),觀音殿(dian)還有(you)(you)(you)(you)地(di)(di)下室,另有(you)(you)(you)(you)東西配殿(dian)各(ge)五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),最后(hou)為(wei)(wei)僧(seng)(seng)房十一(yi)(yi)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。當(dang)(dang)地(di)(di)百(bai)姓(xing)傳說,廟中(zhong)大(da)(da)殿(dian)梁(liang)上雖然長年(nian)(nian)(nian)無人打掃,卻從無積塵,也無本(ben)寺(si)(si)一(yi)(yi)奇。
據現在(zai)主持(chi)募修的五(wu)里源(yuan)信徒郝(hao)小具說,此寺(si)在(zai)日偽時期(qi)被徹底(di)拆除(chu),用于修建(jian)本村炮樓(lou)和碉堡。上世(shi)紀六十(shi)年代(dai)初(chu),國家加強(qiang)基(ji)層醫療衛(wei)生機構建(jian)設,五(wu)里源(yuan)公社在(zai)原(yuan)崇明寺(si)的廢址上興建(jian)了公社衛(wei)生院,原(yuan)來寺(si)院的碑刻也散落(luo)各處。十(shi)一(yi)屆三(san)中(zhong)全會(hui)后,宗教政策得(de)到落(luo)實,當地善(shan)男信女開始籌劃重(zhong)建(jian)崇明寺(si)。九十(shi)年代(dai)后期(qi),信眾集資購買(mai)了鄉衛(wei)生院后院作為安神之所,原(yuan)碑刻文物也逐漸被找回,其(qi)中(zhong)就有著(zhu)名的唐代(dai)佛頂尊勝(sheng)陀羅尼經幢和北宋魯(lu)遷之詩碣(jie)。
