建筑結構
該寺座北面南,兩(liang)進(jin)院,創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)于(yu)(yu)北宋開(kai)寶四年(nian)(nian)(nian)(971),歷代(dai)屢有(you)修(xiu)葺。現存建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)有(you)山(shan)門、中(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、鐘鼓樓及東西配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)、兩(liang)廡等(deng)。中(zhong)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)宋代(dai)早期建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu),后(hou)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)明代(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu),其余建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)為(wei)(wei)清代(dai)遺(yi)物。中(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),居院內(nei)中(zhong)央(yang),雄健(jian)古樸,穩重壯觀。據寺內(nei)現存宋淳化二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(991)碑文(wen)記(ji)載,創(chuang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)于(yu)(yu)宋《營造法式》頒行之前(qian)(qian)的北宋開(kai)寶年(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)身(shen)面闊三間(jian),進(jin)深六椽(chuan),單(dan)檐九脊(ji)頂,筒板布瓦蓋頂,上(shang)施琉璃吻獸。該殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在許多地方沿襲唐制(zhi),柱頭無普柏杭。斗(dou)拱七鋪作(zuo),雙(shuang)抄(chao)雙(shuang)下(xia)(xia)昂(ang),昂(ang)為(wei)(wei)批竹式,昂(ang)尾(wei)壓(ya)在四椽(chuan)袱下(xia)(xia)皮(pi)。補間(jian)斗(dou)拱五(wu)(wu)鋪作(zuo),雙(shuang)抄(chao)偷(tou)心(xin)造,下(xia)(xia)部無櫨(lu)斗(dou)和(he)直斗(dou)與唐代(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)五(wu)(wu)臺山(shan)佛(fo)光寺東大殿(dian)(dian)(dian)一(yi)致。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)梁架(jia)徹上(shang)露明造,使用(yong)的一(yi)對“斷梁”,結(jie)(jie)構奇特,是(shi)(shi)民間(jian)匠師獨(du)特的創(chuang)造,這(zhe)在建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)史(shi)上(shang)具(ju)有(you)較高(gao)的實踐意義。斷梁是(shi)(shi)利用(yong)兩(liang)根直徑、長短(duan)相(xiang)等(deng)的短(duan)梁對接成,“斷梁”正中(zhong)縫下(xia)(xia),用(yong)順(shun)袱來承托,兩(liang)端架(jia)于(yu)(yu)前(qian)(qian)后(hou)檐柱斗(dou)拱后(hou)尾(wei)上(shang),并將尾(wei)蓋重力(li)平衡(heng)到前(qian)(qian)后(hou)檐柱之上(shang),這(zhe)一(yi)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)特點是(shi)(shi)古代(dai)匠師因(yin)材(cai)設計(ji):小村大用(yong)的獨(du)特創(chuang)舉。三間(jian)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)宇,七鋪作(zuo)斗(dou)拱,出檐之深遠,又超(chao)過了五(wu)(wu)代(dai)時期的建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)平遙鎮國(guo)寺萬佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian),其建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)風(feng)格當屬古制(zhi)。崇明寺中(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)在建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)風(feng)格上(shang)沿襲唐風(feng),并且結(jie)(jie)構獨(du)特,可謂(wei)我(wo)國(guo)古代(dai)建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)中(zhong)一(yi)枝(zhi)獨(du)放的奇花,具(ju)有(you)很高(gao)的建(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)筑(zhu)藝術價(jia)值。

道光《修武縣志·金石(shi)志》記載(zai)有(you)兩通(tong)關于崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)石(shi)的(de)古碑(bei)(bei)(bei),一通(tong)為(wei)至正(zheng)十年(nian)(1350年(nian))元代(dai)(dai)禮(li)部郎(lang)中張(zhang)(zhang)琬撰的(de)《五(wu)里(li)(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei)(bei)》(以下簡(jian)稱張(zhang)(zhang)琬碑(bei)(bei)(bei)),一通(tong)為(wei)嘉靖十三年(nian)(1534年(nian))明(ming)(ming)代(dai)(dai)禮(li)部侍郎(lang)何(he)瑭(tang)(tang)撰的(de)《重修五(wu)里(li)(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei)(bei)》(以下簡(jian)稱何(he)瑭(tang)(tang)碑(bei)(bei)(bei)),張(zhang)(zhang)琬碑(bei)(bei)(bei)云“茲(zi)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),大禪(chan)(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)稠(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)公之所(suo)(suo)創(chuang)(chuang)”,何(he)瑭(tang)(tang)碑(bei)(bei)(bei)云“屯西(xi)南有(you)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),蓋禪(chan)(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)稠(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)公之所(suo)(suo)建(jian)(jian)(jian)也(ye)”,兩碑(bei)(bei)(bei)都認為(wei)此(ci)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)創(chuang)(chuang)建(jian)(jian)(jian)者為(wei)稠(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)禪(chan)(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)。稠(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)禪(chan)(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi),稠(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)禪(chan)(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)(510~585),名慧,北朝魏齊(qi)(qi)間(jian)鄴(今河北臨漳縣西(xi))人。他是我國(guo)(guo)歷(li)史上最早有(you)文獻記載(zai)的(de)佛門(men)著名武僧和少林(lin)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)二(er)祖(zu)。北齊(qi)(qi)天(tian)寶七年(nian)(557年(nian)),稠(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)(chou)禪(chan)(chan)師(shi)(shi)(shi)奉文宣帝旨意,在太行山一帶沿山建(jian)(jian)(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)二(er)十多(duo)所(suo)(suo),在天(tian)門(men)山腰首建(jian)(jian)(jian)大護(hu)國(guo)(guo)仁(ren)(ren)王寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),即今天(tian)的(de)百家(jia)巖(yan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)。又據張(zhang)(zhang)琬碑(bei)(bei)(bei),其篆(zhuan)額(e)有(you)“百巖(yan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei)(bei),大護(hu)國(guo)(guo)仁(ren)(ren)王寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)下院”,則知五(wu)里(li)(li)源(yuan)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)為(wei)百家(jia)巖(yan)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)的(de)下院,其建(jian)(jian)(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)年(nian)代(dai)(dai)也(ye)當在北齊(qi)(qi)天(tian)寶年(nian)間(jian)。據此(ci)推算(suan),崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)已有(you)1450多(duo)年(nian)的(de)歷(li)史。
崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺建(jian)成(cheng)后,因(yin)其(qi)位于(yu)縣城(cheng)(cheng)和百(bai)(bai)家(jia)巖(yan)正中,且是縣城(cheng)(cheng)去百(bai)(bai)家(jia)巖(yan)的必經之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)處,因(yin)此(ci)無論善男信女還是文(wen)人騷(sao)客,慕名(ming)前(qian)往百(bai)(bai)家(jia)巖(yan)的,無不(bu)先到(dao)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺或先禮佛,或作小憩,又因(yin)這里(li)風景絕佳,由此(ci)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)寺之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)名(ming)大噪,遂成(cheng)一處名(ming)剎兼名(ming)勝。張琬碑稱其(qi)“負(fu)(fu)太行而揖(yi)嵩少,東(dong)連(lian)乎(hu)蘇門(men)、百(bai)(bai)泉之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)幽(you)勝,西接乎(hu)濟水(shui)、盤谷之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)清雅,風氣淳淑,民物(wu)繁伙,加以水(shui)竹之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)明(ming)秀,村落(luo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)旁午,稻(dao)塍蔬圃(pu),雞犬相聞,故高人勝士聯(lian)鏕并(bing)駕,游詠不(bu)乏,盛境(jing)振名(ming)于(yu)懷(huai)衛”,贊(zan)其(qi)為“實(shi)中土之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)杰區,空門(men)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)福地”,而何(he)瑭碑則記其(qi)“北負(fu)(fu)太行,東(dong)連(lian)百(bai)(bai)泉,西去海蟾宮里(li)許,宮之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)前(qian)有泉涌(yong)出,下流寺側,蓋寧城(cheng)(cheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)勝地也”。
崇(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)代(dai)有(you)(you)修葺,有(you)(you)明(ming)確(que)記載的(de)(de)有(you)(you):至正年(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),住(zhu)(zhu)持僧(seng)因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)、因(yin)全(quan)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修。因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)俗姓霍氏(shi),河(he)內人(ren),出家(jia)于(yu)河(he)內天圣(sheng)院(yuan);因(yin)全(quan),俗姓師氏(shi),清華人(ren),為(wei)因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)師弟,因(yin)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)圓寂(ji)后(hou)繼(ji)任本寺(si)(si)(si)(si)住(zhu)(zhu)持。此次重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修,由當時(shi)(shi)的(de)(de)翰(han)林文字同(tong)(tong)知兼(jian)國史院(yuan)編修官奉(feng)議大夫禮部郎中(zhong)(zhong)張琬為(wei)之作記。明(ming)代(dai)成化年(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),僧(seng)官祥(xiang)俊及其(qi)弟子妙(miao)淳、妙(miao)慶重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修,由當時(shi)(shi)的(de)(de)河(he)南按察(cha)使楊徽為(wei)之作記;嘉靖二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1523年(nian)(nian)(nian)),由當地(di)(di)耆老杭鑒及其(qi)子杭彪州(zhou)捐銀一(yi)百(bai)(bai)(bai)兩(liang)及當地(di)(di)信士共同(tong)(tong)資(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)助,本寺(si)(si)(si)(si)住(zhu)(zhu)持廣(guang)堅、清應等主(zhu)持重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修,歷時(shi)(shi)兩(liang)年(nian)(nian)(nian)半,于(yu)嘉靖四年(nian)(nian)(nian)十月完(wan)工,重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)建雷音殿(dian)五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)、伽藍殿(dian)三(san)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)、東(dong)西方(fang)丈六間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。此次重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修,由當時(shi)(shi)的(de)(de)禮部右侍郎何(he)瑭(tang)為(wei)之作記。另據道光《修武(wu)縣志·寺(si)(si)(si)(si)觀(guan)附》記載,百(bai)(bai)(bai)家(jia)巖寺(si)(si)(si)(si)曾一(yi)度傾廢,其(qi)僧(seng)眾皆居于(yu)五(wu)(wu)里源之崇(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si),由此可(ke)(ke)見當時(shi)(shi)崇(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)規模之盛。但(dan)(dan)至道光年(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),雖然該寺(si)(si)(si)(si)頗具“花木竹柏之勝”,但(dan)(dan)已墻(qiang)垣(yuan)頹敗,寺(si)(si)(si)(si)僧(seng)寥(liao)落(luo)無(wu)(wu)(wu)存。其(qi)后(hou)有(you)(you)無(wu)(wu)(wu)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)修,不(bu)得而知。2001年(nian)(nian)(nian),五(wu)(wu)里源村有(you)(you)心之士根(gen)據當地(di)(di)老年(nian)(nian)(nian)人(ren)的(de)(de)回(hui)憶(yi),繪制(zhi)了民國時(shi)(shi)期(qi)的(de)(de)崇(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)示意(yi)圖,閱圖可(ke)(ke)知,當年(nian)(nian)(nian)的(de)(de)崇(chong)明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)有(you)(you)山(shan)門(men)一(yi)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),東(dong)西廊(lang)廡(wu)各五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),中(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)三(san)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),大佛(fo)殿(dian)五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),中(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)東(dong)南有(you)(you)鐘(zhong)樓一(yi)座(zuo),大佛(fo)殿(dian)東(dong)側(ce)有(you)(you)觀(guan)音殿(dian)一(yi)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),觀(guan)音殿(dian)還(huan)有(you)(you)地(di)(di)下室,另有(you)(you)東(dong)西配殿(dian)各五(wu)(wu)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian),最(zui)后(hou)為(wei)僧(seng)房十一(yi)間(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)。當地(di)(di)百(bai)(bai)(bai)姓傳說,廟中(zhong)(zhong)大殿(dian)梁(liang)上雖然長年(nian)(nian)(nian)無(wu)(wu)(wu)人(ren)打掃,卻(que)從無(wu)(wu)(wu)積塵,也無(wu)(wu)(wu)本寺(si)(si)(si)(si)一(yi)奇(qi)。
據現在主持募修的(de)(de)五里源信(xin)徒郝(hao)小具說,此(ci)寺(si)在日偽時期被徹底拆除,用于修建(jian)(jian)本(ben)村炮樓和(he)碉堡(bao)。上世紀六(liu)十(shi)年(nian)代(dai)(dai)初,國家(jia)加(jia)強基(ji)層醫(yi)療衛生機構建(jian)(jian)設,五里源公社(she)在原崇(chong)明寺(si)的(de)(de)廢址上興(xing)建(jian)(jian)了公社(she)衛生院,原來寺(si)院的(de)(de)碑(bei)刻也散落各處。十(shi)一(yi)屆三中全會(hui)后(hou),宗教(jiao)政策得到落實,當地善男信(xin)女開始(shi)籌(chou)劃重建(jian)(jian)崇(chong)明寺(si)。九十(shi)年(nian)代(dai)(dai)后(hou)期,信(xin)眾(zhong)集資購(gou)買了鄉(xiang)衛生院后(hou)院作(zuo)為安神之所,原碑(bei)刻文物也逐漸被找回,其中就有著名的(de)(de)唐代(dai)(dai)佛頂尊勝陀(tuo)羅尼經幢和(he)北宋魯(lu)遷之詩碣。
