建筑結構
該寺(si)座北面(mian)南,兩進(jin)院,創(chuang)建(jian)于(yu)北宋開寶四(si)年(971),歷代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)屢有(you)修葺。現(xian)存(cun)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)有(you)山門(men)、中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)、后殿(dian)(dian)、鐘鼓樓及東(dong)西配殿(dian)(dian)、兩廡(wu)等(deng)(deng)。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)殿(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)宋代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)早期建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu),后殿(dian)(dian)為(wei)(wei)明代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu),其余(yu)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)為(wei)(wei)清代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)遺(yi)物。中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian),居院內(nei)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)央,雄健(jian)古(gu)樸,穩重壯(zhuang)觀。據寺(si)內(nei)現(xian)存(cun)宋淳化二年(991)碑文記(ji)載(zai),創(chuang)建(jian)于(yu)宋《營(ying)造法式(shi)(shi)》頒(ban)行之(zhi)前的(de)北宋開寶年間(jian)(jian)(jian)。殿(dian)(dian)身面(mian)闊三(san)(san)間(jian)(jian)(jian),進(jin)深(shen)六椽,單(dan)檐(yan)九脊頂,筒板布瓦蓋頂,上(shang)(shang)(shang)施琉璃(li)吻獸。該殿(dian)(dian)在(zai)許多(duo)地方(fang)沿襲唐制,柱(zhu)頭無普柏杭。斗(dou)拱(gong)(gong)七鋪(pu)(pu)作(zuo),雙(shuang)抄雙(shuang)下昂,昂為(wei)(wei)批竹式(shi)(shi),昂尾(wei)壓在(zai)四(si)椽袱下皮。補間(jian)(jian)(jian)斗(dou)拱(gong)(gong)五(wu)(wu)鋪(pu)(pu)作(zuo),雙(shuang)抄偷心造,下部無櫨斗(dou)和直(zhi)斗(dou)與唐代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)五(wu)(wu)臺山佛(fo)光(guang)寺(si)東(dong)大殿(dian)(dian)一致。殿(dian)(dian)內(nei)梁(liang)(liang)(liang)架徹上(shang)(shang)(shang)露明造,使用(yong)(yong)的(de)一對“斷梁(liang)(liang)(liang)”,結構(gou)奇(qi)(qi)特(te)(te),是民間(jian)(jian)(jian)匠師獨特(te)(te)的(de)創(chuang)造,這在(zai)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)史(shi)上(shang)(shang)(shang)具有(you)較高(gao)(gao)的(de)實踐(jian)意(yi)義。斷梁(liang)(liang)(liang)是利用(yong)(yong)兩根直(zhi)徑、長短(duan)(duan)相等(deng)(deng)的(de)短(duan)(duan)梁(liang)(liang)(liang)對接成,“斷梁(liang)(liang)(liang)”正中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)縫下,用(yong)(yong)順袱來(lai)承托,兩端架于(yu)前后檐(yan)柱(zhu)斗(dou)拱(gong)(gong)后尾(wei)上(shang)(shang)(shang),并(bing)將尾(wei)蓋重力平衡到前后檐(yan)柱(zhu)之(zhi)上(shang)(shang)(shang),這一建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)特(te)(te)點(dian)是古(gu)代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)匠師因材設計:小村大用(yong)(yong)的(de)獨特(te)(te)創(chuang)舉。三(san)(san)間(jian)(jian)(jian)殿(dian)(dian)宇,七鋪(pu)(pu)作(zuo)斗(dou)拱(gong)(gong),出檐(yan)之(zhi)深(shen)遠,又(you)超(chao)過了五(wu)(wu)代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)時期的(de)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)平遙鎮國(guo)寺(si)萬佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian),其建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)風(feng)(feng)格當屬古(gu)制。崇明寺(si)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)在(zai)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)風(feng)(feng)格上(shang)(shang)(shang)沿襲唐風(feng)(feng),并(bing)且結構(gou)獨特(te)(te),可謂(wei)我國(guo)古(gu)代(dai)(dai)(dai)(dai)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)一枝(zhi)獨放(fang)的(de)奇(qi)(qi)花,具有(you)很高(gao)(gao)的(de)建(jian)筑(zhu)(zhu)藝術(shu)價值(zhi)。

道光(guang)《修武縣志(zhi)·金石志(zhi)》記載有(you)兩通關于崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)石的(de)古(gu)碑(bei)(bei),一(yi)通為至(zhi)正十(shi)年(nian)(1350年(nian))元代禮部(bu)郎(lang)中張(zhang)琬(wan)撰的(de)《五里源崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei)》(以下(xia)簡稱(cheng)張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)(bei)),一(yi)通為嘉靖十(shi)三年(nian)(1534年(nian))明(ming)(ming)代禮部(bu)侍郎(lang)何(he)瑭撰的(de)《重修五里源崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei)》(以下(xia)簡稱(cheng)何(he)瑭碑(bei)(bei)),張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)(bei)云“茲寺(si)(si)(si),大禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師稠(chou)公(gong)之所(suo)(suo)創”,何(he)瑭碑(bei)(bei)云“屯西南有(you)崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si),蓋(gai)禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師稠(chou)公(gong)之所(suo)(suo)建(jian)也”,兩碑(bei)(bei)都認為此寺(si)(si)(si)的(de)創建(jian)者為稠(chou)禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師。稠(chou)禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師,稠(chou)禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師(510~585),名慧,北朝魏齊(qi)間(jian)(jian)鄴(今河北臨漳縣西)人。他是(shi)我國(guo)歷(li)史(shi)上(shang)最早有(you)文獻記載的(de)佛(fo)門著名武僧和少林寺(si)(si)(si)二(er)祖(zu)。北齊(qi)天寶七年(nian)(557年(nian)),稠(chou)禪(chan)(chan)(chan)師奉(feng)文宣帝(di)旨(zhi)意,在太行(xing)山(shan)一(yi)帶(dai)沿山(shan)建(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)二(er)十(shi)多(duo)所(suo)(suo),在天門山(shan)腰首建(jian)大護國(guo)仁王寺(si)(si)(si),即今天的(de)百(bai)家巖寺(si)(si)(si)。又據(ju)(ju)張(zhang)琬(wan)碑(bei)(bei),其(qi)篆(zhuan)額有(you)“百(bai)巖崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)碑(bei)(bei),大護國(guo)仁王寺(si)(si)(si)下(xia)院(yuan)”,則知五里源崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)為百(bai)家巖寺(si)(si)(si)的(de)下(xia)院(yuan),其(qi)建(jian)寺(si)(si)(si)年(nian)代也當(dang)在北齊(qi)天寶年(nian)間(jian)(jian)。據(ju)(ju)此推算(suan),崇(chong)(chong)明(ming)(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)已有(you)1450多(duo)年(nian)的(de)歷(li)史(shi)。
崇明(ming)寺建成后(hou),因其(qi)位于(yu)縣(xian)城和百(bai)家巖(yan)正中(zhong),且是縣(xian)城去百(bai)家巖(yan)的必經之處,因此無(wu)論善男信女(nv)還是文人(ren)騷(sao)客,慕名(ming)(ming)前往(wang)百(bai)家巖(yan)的,無(wu)不(bu)先到崇明(ming)寺或先禮佛,或作小憩,又因這里風景絕佳,由(you)此崇明(ming)寺之名(ming)(ming)大(da)噪,遂(sui)成一處名(ming)(ming)剎兼名(ming)(ming)勝(sheng)。張琬碑稱其(qi)“負太(tai)(tai)行而揖嵩少(shao),東(dong)連乎蘇(su)門、百(bai)泉之幽(you)勝(sheng),西接乎濟水、盤谷之清雅,風氣淳(chun)淑(shu),民物繁伙,加以水竹之明(ming)秀,村落之旁午(wu),稻塍(cheng)蔬圃,雞犬相聞(wen),故高人(ren)勝(sheng)士聯鏕并駕,游詠不(bu)乏,盛境振名(ming)(ming)于(yu)懷衛”,贊(zan)其(qi)為“實中(zhong)土之杰區,空門之福地”,而何(he)瑭碑則記其(qi)“北負太(tai)(tai)行,東(dong)連百(bai)泉,西去海(hai)蟾宮里許,宮之前有(you)泉涌(yong)出,下流寺側,蓋寧城之勝(sheng)地也(ye)”。
崇明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)代有(you)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)葺,有(you)明(ming)確記(ji)(ji)(ji)載的有(you):至正(zheng)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian),住(zhu)持(chi)僧(seng)(seng)因(yin)資(zi)(zi)、因(yin)全(quan)重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)。因(yin)資(zi)(zi)俗姓(xing)霍氏(shi),河內(nei)人(ren),出家于(yu)(yu)河內(nei)天圣院;因(yin)全(quan),俗姓(xing)師(shi)氏(shi),清華人(ren),為因(yin)資(zi)(zi)師(shi)弟,因(yin)資(zi)(zi)圓寂后繼任本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)。此次重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)時(shi)的翰林(lin)文字(zi)同知兼國(guo)史院編修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)官(guan)奉議大夫禮部郎中張琬為之(zhi)作(zuo)記(ji)(ji)(ji)。明(ming)代成化年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian),僧(seng)(seng)官(guan)祥俊及(ji)其(qi)弟子妙淳、妙慶重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)時(shi)的河南(nan)按察使楊徽(hui)為之(zhi)作(zuo)記(ji)(ji)(ji);嘉靖(jing)二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)(1523年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)地耆(qi)老(lao)杭鑒及(ji)其(qi)子杭彪州捐銀一(yi)(yi)百(bai)兩(liang)及(ji)當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)地信士(shi)共同資(zi)(zi)助,本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)廣(guang)堅、清應(ying)等主持(chi)重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),歷時(shi)兩(liang)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)半,于(yu)(yu)嘉靖(jing)四年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)十(shi)月(yue)完工,重(zhong)建(jian)雷音殿(dian)(dian)(dian)五(wu)(wu)間(jian)、伽(jia)藍殿(dian)(dian)(dian)三(san)間(jian)、東西(xi)(xi)方(fang)丈六(liu)間(jian)。此次重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),由(you)當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)時(shi)的禮部右侍郎何瑭為之(zhi)作(zuo)記(ji)(ji)(ji)。另(ling)據道光《修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)武縣志·寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)觀(guan)附》記(ji)(ji)(ji)載,百(bai)家巖寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)曾一(yi)(yi)度傾廢(fei),其(qi)僧(seng)(seng)眾皆居于(yu)(yu)五(wu)(wu)里源(yuan)之(zhi)崇明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si),由(you)此可見當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)時(shi)崇明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)規模之(zhi)盛(sheng)。但至道光年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)間(jian),雖然該寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)頗具“花木竹柏之(zhi)勝”,但已墻(qiang)垣頹敗,寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)僧(seng)(seng)寥落無(wu)存。其(qi)后有(you)無(wu)重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu)(xiu)(xiu),不得而知。2001年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian),五(wu)(wu)里源(yuan)村有(you)心(xin)之(zhi)士(shi)根據當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)地老(lao)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)人(ren)的回憶,繪制(zhi)了民(min)國(guo)時(shi)期的崇明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)示意(yi)圖,閱圖可知,當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)的崇明(ming)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)有(you)山門一(yi)(yi)間(jian),東西(xi)(xi)廊廡各(ge)五(wu)(wu)間(jian),中佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)三(san)間(jian),大佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)五(wu)(wu)間(jian),中佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)東南(nan)有(you)鐘樓一(yi)(yi)座,大佛(fo)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)東側有(you)觀(guan)音殿(dian)(dian)(dian)一(yi)(yi)間(jian),觀(guan)音殿(dian)(dian)(dian)還有(you)地下(xia)室,另(ling)有(you)東西(xi)(xi)配殿(dian)(dian)(dian)各(ge)五(wu)(wu)間(jian),最后為僧(seng)(seng)房十(shi)一(yi)(yi)間(jian)。當(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)(dang)地百(bai)姓(xing)傳(chuan)說,廟中大殿(dian)(dian)(dian)梁(liang)上雖然長年(nian)(nian)(nian)(nian)無(wu)人(ren)打掃,卻從(cong)無(wu)積塵(chen),也無(wu)本(ben)寺(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)(si)一(yi)(yi)奇。
據現在主持募修的(de)(de)五里源信徒郝小具說,此寺(si)(si)在日偽(wei)時期被(bei)徹底拆除(chu),用(yong)于(yu)修建本村炮樓(lou)和碉堡(bao)。上(shang)世紀六十年代(dai)初,國家加強基層(ceng)醫療衛(wei)生機構建設,五里源公社在原崇(chong)明寺(si)(si)的(de)(de)廢址上(shang)興建了公社衛(wei)生院(yuan),原來寺(si)(si)院(yuan)的(de)(de)碑(bei)刻也散落各處(chu)。十一屆三中全會后,宗(zong)教政策得到落實,當地善(shan)男信女開(kai)始籌劃(hua)重建崇(chong)明寺(si)(si)。九十年代(dai)后期,信眾集資購買了鄉衛(wei)生院(yuan)后院(yuan)作為安神之所(suo),原碑(bei)刻文物也逐漸被(bei)找回,其中就(jiu)有著名的(de)(de)唐(tang)代(dai)佛頂尊勝陀羅(luo)尼經幢和北宋魯遷之詩碣。
