東營市利津縣第二中學始建于1952年10月,是黃河三角洲地區建校較早的中學之一,始名為山東省墾利中學(1951年陳(chen)(chen)家莊是中(zhong)共墾(ken)利縣(xian)委、縣(xian)政府駐地(di))。1956年5月墾(ken)利縣(xian)建制撤銷,原轄(xia)區劃屬利津(jin)縣(xian),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)暫定(ding)名“陳(chen)(chen)莊中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1956年7月20日(ri),定(ding)名為“山東(dong)省利津(jin)縣(xian)第(di)二(er)(er)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1958年11月沾(化(hua))利(津(jin))合并(bing)為沾化(hua)縣(xian),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)遂更(geng)名為“沾化(hua)縣(xian)第(di)三中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1961年9月,沾利分縣(xian),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)恢復(fu)“利津(jin)縣(xian)第(di)二(er)(er)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”校(xiao)名。1969年4月學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)下放(fang)陳(chen)(chen)莊人民公社(she)管理,校(xiao)名改為“陳(chen)(chen)莊中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1969年12月學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)復(fu)名“利津(jin)縣(xian)第(di)二(er)(er)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1976年9月,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)再度下放(fang)到公社(she)管理。1978年8月再次復(fu)名“利津(jin)縣(xian)第(di)二(er)(er)中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”并(bing)沿用(yong)至今。
學(xue)校(xiao)現有(you)58個高中教學(xue)班,3200余名(ming)在校(xiao)生(sheng)。專任教師256人(ren)(ren),研(yan)究(jiu)生(sheng)學(xue)歷12人(ren)(ren),本科244人(ren)(ren)。其(qi)中,特級教師1人(ren)(ren),高級教師61人(ren)(ren),一級教師84人(ren)(ren),二級教師110人(ren)(ren)。
六十(shi)(shi)年(nian)滄桑砥礪,六十(shi)(shi)年(nian)春華秋實(shi),學(xue)(xue)校秉(bing)承“讓每一個學(xue)(xue)生都成功”的辦學(xue)(xue)理(li)念,鑄成“立德樹人、自強不息”的校訓,“團結、勤奮、求實(shi)、創新(xin)”的校風,“嚴謹治學(xue)(xue)、精誠(cheng)育人”的教風和“篤實(shi)勤勉、敏(min)行日(ri)新(xin)”的學(xue)(xue)風,為社會培(pei)養了三萬多(duo)名優秀人才(cai),培(pei)養出了建(jian)(jian)國以(yi)來(lai)利(li)津縣較早(zao)的北京大學(xue)(xue)生、東營市(shi)建(jian)(jian)市(shi)以(yi)來(lai)的清華大學(xue)(xue)生。
學(xue)校(xiao)地(di)處黃河勝利(li)大橋北端(duan)的省級中心鎮——陳(chen)莊鎮,坐落于陳(chen)莊鎮濱港路5號。學(xue)校(xiao)分南北兩院,占地(di)150畝,總建筑面積達7萬平(ping)方米。教室(shi)(shi)和功(gong)能室(shi)(shi)都(dou)配備了多媒體,實驗室(shi)(shi)均按國家標(biao)(biao)準(zhun)設計配備,通用(yong)技術實驗室(shi)(shi)被教育部教學(xue)儀器研究所授予“高(gao)(gao)中通用(yong)技術標(biao)(biao)準(zhun)實驗室(shi)(shi)”,音樂(le)室(shi)(shi)、美術室(shi)(shi)、舞蹈室(shi)(shi)、歷史室(shi)(shi)、地(di)理室(shi)(shi)、圖書(shu)館、閱覽室(shi)(shi)等全部高(gao)(gao)標(biao)(biao)準(zhun)配備到(dao)位。
