東營市利津縣第二中學始建于1952年10月,是黃河三角洲地區建校較早的中學之一,始名為山東省墾利中學(1951年(nian)(nian)陳(chen)家莊是中共墾利(li)(li)縣(xian)委、縣(xian)政府(fu)駐地)。1956年(nian)(nian)5月墾利(li)(li)縣(xian)建制撤(che)銷(xiao),原轄區劃屬(shu)利(li)(li)津(jin)(jin)縣(xian),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)暫定名“陳(chen)莊中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1956年(nian)(nian)7月20日,定名為“山東省利(li)(li)津(jin)(jin)縣(xian)第二(er)(er)中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1958年(nian)(nian)11月沾(zhan)(化(hua))利(li)(li)(津(jin)(jin))合并為沾(zhan)化(hua)縣(xian),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)遂更(geng)名為“沾(zhan)化(hua)縣(xian)第三中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1961年(nian)(nian)9月,沾(zhan)利(li)(li)分(fen)縣(xian),學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)恢復(fu)“利(li)(li)津(jin)(jin)縣(xian)第二(er)(er)中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”校(xiao)名。1969年(nian)(nian)4月學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)下放(fang)陳(chen)莊人民(min)公(gong)社管理(li),校(xiao)名改為“陳(chen)莊中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1969年(nian)(nian)12月學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)復(fu)名“利(li)(li)津(jin)(jin)縣(xian)第二(er)(er)中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”。1976年(nian)(nian)9月,學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校(xiao)再度下放(fang)到公(gong)社管理(li)。1978年(nian)(nian)8月再次(ci)復(fu)名“利(li)(li)津(jin)(jin)縣(xian)第二(er)(er)中學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)”并沿用至今。
學校(xiao)現有58個高(gao)中教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)學班,3200余名在校(xiao)生。專任教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師256人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),研究生學歷12人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),本科244人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。其中,特級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師1人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),高(gao)級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師61人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),一級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師84人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),二(er)級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師110人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。
六(liu)十年滄(cang)桑砥(di)礪,六(liu)十年春華秋實(shi)(shi),學(xue)校(xiao)秉(bing)承“讓每一個學(xue)生都成功”的辦學(xue)理念,鑄成“立德(de)樹人、自強(qiang)不息”的校(xiao)訓(xun),“團結、勤奮、求(qiu)實(shi)(shi)、創新”的校(xiao)風,“嚴謹治學(xue)、精誠育人”的教風和“篤(du)實(shi)(shi)勤勉、敏行日(ri)新”的學(xue)風,為社(she)會培(pei)養了三萬多名(ming)優(you)秀人才,培(pei)養出了建(jian)國以來(lai)利津縣較早的北京大學(xue)生、東營市建(jian)市以來(lai)的清華大學(xue)生。
學校地處黃河(he)勝利(li)大(da)橋(qiao)北端的省級中(zhong)心鎮(zhen)——陳(chen)莊鎮(zhen),坐落于陳(chen)莊鎮(zhen)濱港(gang)路(lu)5號。學校分南北兩院,占地150畝,總建筑面積達(da)7萬平方米(mi)。教室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)和功能室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)都配備了多媒(mei)體,實驗(yan)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)均按國(guo)家(jia)標準設計配備,通用技術(shu)實驗(yan)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)被(bei)教育部(bu)教學儀器研究所授予“高中(zhong)通用技術(shu)標準實驗(yan)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)”,音樂(le)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、美術(shu)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、舞蹈室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、歷史室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、地理(li)室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)、圖書館、閱(yue)覽室(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)等全部(bu)高標準配備到位。

自2004年以(yi)(yi)來開展的以(yi)(yi)“收集廢紙(zhi)、凈化(hua)校(xiao)園、奉獻愛心”為(wei)主(zhu)題(ti)的“青春暖流”助(zhu)學(xue)工(gong)程,十年來堅持(chi)不輟,共收集廢紙(zhi)、廢瓶148噸,折合人(ren)民幣16萬元,救助(zhu)貧困生800余人(ren)。團(tuan)省委、市縣(xian)關工(gong)委和(he)(he)團(tuan)委多次(ci)到(dao)校(xiao)調研(yan)指導,中(zhong)國(guo)新聞網等多家(jia)媒體(ti)予以(yi)(yi)報道。學(xue)校(xiao)先后承辦了全(quan)市中(zhong)小學(xue)社(she)會主(zhu)義榮辱(ru)觀教(jiao)育現(xian)場(chang)會、全(quan)市高中(zhong)教(jiao)育教(jiao)學(xue)現(xian)場(chang)交流會、全(quan)市普法現(xian)場(chang)會和(he)(he)全(quan)縣(xian)班(ban)主(zhu)任經驗交流會,被確定為(wei)“東營市德育特色(se)重點(dian)培育學(xue)校(xiao)”。
