圖繪(hui)大(da)士(shi)(shi)坐在山石(shi)(shi)間(jian),身(shen)(shen)(shen)穿寬服(fu),左腿(tui)彎(wan)曲(qu),長發披(pi)肩(jian),大(da)耳下(xia)垂,月芽(ya)眉毛,雙日凝視,鼻梁略(lve)高。右(you)手持(chi)有(you)(you)(you)瓷瓶,左手托(tuo)住半傾斜的(de)瓷瓶,正(zheng)在向山石(shi)(shi)間(jian)的(de)花草(cao)澆水:整個(ge)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)除畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)有(you)(you)(you)大(da)士(shi)(shi)像(xiang)(xiang)外(wai),其背景(jing)僅畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)山石(shi)(shi)和花草(cao)相(xiang)襯托(tuo)。此畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)乍看隨意畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)成,但其人(ren)物形象的(de)刻(ke)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)高度精練,全(quan)用(yong)濃墨隨意勾(gou)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua),大(da)有(you)(you)(you)一氣(qi)呵成的(de)氣(qi)派(pai);布局(ju)也較奇特,大(da)士(shi)(shi)像(xiang)(xiang)集中(zhong)(zhong)于(yu)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)幅上部,上身(shen)(shen)(shen)清晰(xi)明朗,下(xia)身(shen)(shen)(shen)只(zhi)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)其右(you)側(ce),左側(ce)為(wei)山石(shi)(shi)所掩蓋,線條流動自(zi)然,有(you)(you)(you)粗有(you)(you)(you)細(xi),有(you)(you)(you)疏有(you)(you)(you)密,有(you)(you)(you)輕有(you)(you)(you)重,在看似不(bu)經意的(de)下(xia)筆(bi)(bi)中(zhong)(zhong)自(zi)有(you)(you)(you)經意的(de)安排、大(da)士(shi)(shi)像(xiang)(xiang)面部,只(zhi)是(shi)(shi)(shi)揮筆(bi)(bi)幾下(xia)便勾(gou)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)出來,衣服(fu)更為(wei)簡練。以淡墨渲(xuan)(xuan)染衣服(fu),加深(shen)廠受光面的(de)立體感i簡樸精練的(de)筆(bi)(bi)墨,將大(da)士(shi)(shi)的(de)形象刻(ke)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)人(ren)微(wei),給(gei)人(ren)留(liu)下(xia)了深(shen)刻(ke)的(de)印象?這(zhe)由(you)于(yu)作者極注意于(yu)日常對周圍人(ren)物的(de)觀察,也善于(yu)從(cong)生活中(zhong)(zhong)捕捉入(ru)畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)的(de)形象,此畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)的(de)成功是(shi)(shi)(shi)一個(ge)有(you)(you)(you)力的(de)佐證。至(zhi)于(yu)背景(jing),為(wei)大(da)片山石(shi)(shi),山石(shi)(shi)純用(yong)粗線勾(gou)廓,渾(hun)重圓拙;加以濃墨點苔,灰墨和殘赭間(jian)開(kai)渲(xuan)(xuan)染,氣(qi)勢(shi)宏(hong)偉,顯(xian)示出強烈的(de)個(ge)性和品(pin)格?山石(shi)(shi)間(jian)花草(cao),都能(neng)意筆(bi)(bi)草(cao)草(cao),生動逼真。賈師古(gu)傳世作品(pin)甚少,此《大(da)士(shi)(shi)像(xiang)(xiang)》是(shi)(shi)(shi)他人(ren)物畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)佳作,此畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)曾著錄于(yu)《故宮書畫(hua)(hua)(hua)(hua)集》,款署“師古(gu)”。收傳印記有(you)(you)(you):清宮鑒藏印,乾隆八璽全(quan),嘉(jia)慶一璽,宣統三璽。
該畫線條非常簡練,然而人物形象卻很明(ming)朗。以白(bai)描(miao)的手法(fa)畫成觀音,衣褶如行書草(cao)筆(bi),簡約俊(jun)逸,用極工細(xi)的筆(bi)觸描(miao)繪觀音的發(fa)髻和面容,柔美秀(xiu)潤,氣韻(yun)頓生,優雅(ya)不凡。
賈師(shi)古,南(nan)宋畫(hua)家。汴(今河南(nan)開封)人(ren)。擅道釋(shi)人(ren)物,師(shi)法李公(gong)麟(lin)。高(gao)宗紹興時(shi)為(wei)畫(hua)院祗(zhi)候。白(bai)描人(ren)物,變(bian)精細(xi)為(wei)粗放(fang),頗得閑逸自在之狀。梁楷為(wei)其高(gao)足,進而演為(wei)潑墨、減筆。傳世作(zuo)品有《白(bai)描大士像(xiang)》、《巖關古寺圖》。
