中(zhong)(zhong)堂鎮(zhen)潢(huang)涌(yong)(yong)小學(xue)位(wei)于東(dong)莞(guan)四大名鄉之首的(de)潢(huang)涌(yong)(yong)村,辦學(xue)歷史(shi)悠久,前身為“西(xi)石書(shu)院”,迄今已有百余年(nian)歷史(shi)。早在(zai)南宋立村之初,潢(huang)涌(yong)(yong)村便(bian)十(shi)分重視對子弟的(de)教(jiao)育。自宋至(zhi)清末,潢(huang)涌(yong)(yong)共培養出(chu)8名進士(shi)、36名舉人(ren)、數十(shi)名貢(gong)生、80多名秀才,因此(ci)獲得“文武進士(shi)之鄉”的(de)美譽。潢(huang)涌(yong)(yong)小學(xue)的(de)百年(nian)發展便(bian)浸(jin)潤(run)在(zai)崇文重教(jiao)的(de)濃郁氛圍中(zhong)(zhong)。
學(xue)(xue)校占地(di)面(mian)(mian)積(ji)20153㎡,總建筑面(mian)(mian)積(ji)15657.52㎡,校內(nei)綠樹成蔭,環境幽雅,具有(you)深厚的文化底(di)蘊和鮮明的育(yu)(yu)人特色。學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)842人、19個教(jiao)學(xue)(xue)班。近年來,潢涌(yong)小學(xue)(xue)全(quan)面(mian)(mian)貫(guan)徹黨的教(jiao)育(yu)(yu)方針,緊(jin)抓素(su)質教(jiao)育(yu)(yu),以德育(yu)(yu)促(cu)智育(yu)(yu),同時兼(jian)顧體育(yu)(yu)和美育(yu)(yu),使(shi)學(xue)(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)在德、智、體、美諸方面(mian)(mian)得到(dao)全(quan)面(mian)(mian)發展,學(xue)(xue)校亦屢獲殊榮(rong)。

學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)校分為高(gao)年級(ji)區和低年級(ji)區,有(you)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)50人(ren),其(qi)中小學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)一級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)41人(ren),二級(ji)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)9人(ren)。教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)歷達標率100%,其(qi)中本(ben)科學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)歷41人(ren),大專(zhuan)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)歷9人(ren),大專(zhuan)以上(shang)學(xue)(xue)(xue)(xue)歷占教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)師(shi)(shi)總人(ren)數100%。
