據考證,長白山五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi)開發利用已有百余年(nian)歷史。《長白山匯征錄》(宣(xuan)統元年(nian))卷(juan)六藥(yao)(yao)品篇詳細記(ji)述五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi)的性味(wei)(wei)、功效、采收時間及加(jia)工方法,并記(ji)載了(le)當(dang)時“行(xing)銷(xiao)(xiao)內地(di),每歲所得價(jia)值次于人(ren)參”的暢銷(xiao)(xiao)景象。《臨江縣志》(1902~1934)記(ji)載,“五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi):其形如珠,其色最紅,善備五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei),故有五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi)之稱(cheng),能止(zhi)痰(tan)補腎,亦為(wei)出口藥(yao)(yao)材之大宗。”當(dang)時全市(shi)有十(shi)家山貨(huo)莊經(jing)營長白山五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi)。《撫(fu)松(song)(song)縣人(ren)參志》記(ji)載,撫(fu)松(song)(song)縣制(zhi)藥(yao)(yao)廠和原撫(fu)松(song)(song)國營第(di)二參場1985年(nian)研制(zhi)五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi)沖劑、五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi)濃(nong)縮汁、五(wu)(wu)(wu)味(wei)(wei)子(zi)(zi)香檳原漿等(deng)精深加(jia)工制(zhi)品,早在(zai)30多年(nian)前就已經(jing)行(xing)銷(xiao)(xiao)各地(di)。

感官特征
長(chang)白山五味(wei)子呈(cheng)球狀顆粒(li),直徑(jing)5~8mm,表(biao)面紫紅色或(huo)暗紅色,皺縮,顯油性。果(guo)肉柔軟(ruan),肉厚。內(nei)含(han)種(zhong)(zhong)子2粒(li)。種(zhong)(zhong)子腎形,長(chang)4~5mm,寬3~4mm,表(biao)面棕(zong)黃(huang)(huang)色,有光澤(ze),種(zhong)(zhong)皮脆(cui)硬,種(zhong)(zhong)仁(ren)黃(huang)(huang)白色,富油性。果(guo)肉氣(qi)微,味(wei)酸甘;種(zhong)(zhong)子破碎后(hou)有清香(xiang)氣(qi),味(wei)辛、微苦。
