簡介
妙果寺(si)位于浙江省溫州市松(song)臺(tai)山(shan)南麓。系東(dong)甌著(zhu)名(ming)古剎,始創于唐神龍年間(705年),為一(yi)代宗(zong)師(shi)宿覺大師(shi)所(suo)建。盛(sheng)于宋,高僧(seng)繼忠大師(shi)曾卓(zhuo)錫方(fang)丈(zhang),大振宗(zong)風(feng),一(yi)度成為東(dong)南沿海(hai)朝圣之名(ming)剎。
妙果寺(si)于(yu)清順治十四年曾毀于(yu)一(yi)場(chang)大火,雖于(yu)康(kang)熙十四年重修,但規模(mo)已(yi)非昔日(ri)可比。后開(kai)拓公路時妙果寺(si)被拆(chai)除,其間文(wen)(wen)物、大師舍利、宋(song)鎏金銅佛及大師生平(ping)小石碑(bei)現藏(zang)華(hua)東文(wen)(wen)物館。妙果寺(si)作為(wei)浙江省(sheng)政府批準重點對(dui)外開(kai)放(fang)寺(si)院。
建筑
1983年修(xiu)復重建,重建前后長達(da)十余年之(zhi)久,現在天(tian)王殿(dian)、大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)(bao)殿(dian)、觀音閣及兩樓(lou)房,雕(diao)梁(liang)畫棟,金碧(bi)輝(hui)煌;飛(fei)檐斗拱,氣勢雄(xiong)(xiong)渾,全國政協副主席趙樸初親書(shu)“大雄(xiong)(xiong)寶(bao)(bao)殿(dian)”,書(shu)壇巨匠沙孟海(hai)額(e)書(shu)“妙果寺(si)”,96年佛學大師南懷(huai)瑾行(xing)生書(shu)“宿覺名山”匾,端莊矯健,金光閃(shan)閃(shan),書(shu)壇諸子(zi)紛(fen)紛(fen)撰書(shu)匾額(e)楹(ying)聯(lian)為妙果寺(si)增(zeng)輝(hui)添彩。
大殿正柱有原(yuan)住持雪生老和尚生前撰聯(lian):“凈光(guang)塔(ta)院,普(pu)覺鐘聲(sheng),追思(si)唐代宗風永嘉獨著;甌浦云峰,霞潭月色,想(xiang)見宋僧道積(ji)妙果同(tong)懷。”后殿有現(xian)住持達崇法師聯(lian):“七寶莊嚴,一角小山藏世界;三乘庇蔭,十方大地涌潮音。”
住持
妙(miao)果(guo)寺(si)(si)現任(ren)住持達照法師(shi)(shi),(達照法師(shi)(shi),俗姓(xing)林(lin),筆名天臺子(zi),1972年(nian)出(chu)生于浙江省(sheng)(sheng)文(wen)成縣(xian)(xian),1989年(nian)于七甲(jia)寺(si)(si)依了識(shi)長(chang)老(lao)出(chu)家(jia),屬(shu)于嫡傳天臺教觀第46代。現任(ren)普陀山(shan)佛(fo)(fo)學(xue)院(yuan)研究生導師(shi)(shi)、蘇州(zhou)戒幢佛(fo)(fo)學(xue)研究所研究員(yuan)、湖南省(sheng)(sheng)常(chang)(chang)德市禪學(xue)會(hui)(hui)名譽會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、溫(wen)州(zhou)市佛(fo)(fo)教協會(hui)(hui)副會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、溫(wen)州(zhou)佛(fo)(fo)教永嘉(jia)禪學(xue)會(hui)(hui)會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、溫(wen)州(zhou)市妙(miao)果(guo)寺(si)(si)住持、第七屆文(wen)成縣(xian)(xian)政(zheng)協常(chang)(chang)委、文(wen)成縣(xian)(xian)佛(fo)(fo)教協會(hui)(hui)會(hui)(hui)長(chang)、文(wen)成縣(xian)(xian)七甲(jia)寺(si)(si)住持、安福寺(si)(si)修建委員(yuan)會(hui)(hui)主任(ren)。)
豬頭鐘
相傳宋(song)(song)神宗(zong)元豐年間(1078-1085),在繼忠大師主持(chi)妙果(guo)(guo)寺(si)時(shi),有一客(ke)僧來寺(si)掛(gua)單修身,其(qi)(qi)貌若(ruo)愚,然出語(yu)必合(he)宗(zong)乘。日(ri)(ri)間入(ru)市丐化,布施所得(de),悉購豬(zhu)頭(tou)歸寺(si)酣酌(zhuo),繼忠大師觀(guan)之(zhi)若(ruo)無(wu)其(qi)(qi)事,任其(qi)(qi)息跡(ji)(ji)去(qu)(qu)留。一日(ri)(ri)負(fu)鋤至寺(si)旁山麓掘一土(tu)井(jing),將所剩豬(zhu)頭(tou)骨悉藏井(jing)內(nei),壓一大石,并以土(tu)泥涂封,對人(ren)說(shuo):“吾歷年所募鑄一鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),今(jin)七(qi)七(qi)日(ri)(ri)后于此(ci)成(cheng)就”。此(ci)后就不見客(ke)僧蹤(zong)跡(ji)(ji)。時(shi)逾(yu)月(yue)余,寺(si)僧掘土(tu)果(guo)(guo)見一鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),猛(meng)熱(re)熾然,高約三(san)尺,非(fei)銅非(fei)鐵,酷似青石,音響鏗明,頂上二豬(zhu)首拼作鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu),迥異尋(xun)常(chang)捕(bu)牢獅龍之(zhi)慣例(li)。故人(ren)皆以“豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”名之(zhi)。傳說(shuo)因(yin)其(qi)(qi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)未到49日(ri)(ri),火未退(tui)完(wan),敲擊(ji)時(shi)城內(nei)外常(chang)有火災出現(xian)。民(min)(min)國(guo)八年(1919),國(guo)威不振,本地任某請來上海技師將鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)截(jie)斷,竊去(qu)(qu)國(guo)外。自此(ci),神鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就不復懸掛(gua),于是建(jian)“古鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭”藏之(zhi)。因(yin)該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)活像兩(liang)個豬(zhu)頭(tou),故人(ren)稱“豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。也有人(ren)說(shuo)該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)原名“濟陀(tuo)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,人(ren)們諧(xie)稱“豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。我們對這傳說(shuo)無(wu)須認真(zhen)去(qu)(qu)尋(xun)根究底,"假(jia)作真(zhen)時(shi)真(zhen)亦假(jia),無(wu)為有處有還(huan)無(wu)",長留在人(ren)們的(de)想像中豈不更好。1987年重建(jian)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭,亭聯:“稽于史實,松臺(tai)山上仙人(ren)井(jing);留得(de)民(min)(min)謠,妙果(guo)(guo)寺(si)中豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。”亭內(nei)的(de)無(wu)紐“濟陀(tuo)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,為宋(song)(song)時(shi)物(wu),高1.3米(mi),直徑為0.8米(mi)。豬(zhu)頭(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)現(xian)已由市文物(wu)館追(zhui)還(huan)。
