簡介
妙果寺位于(yu)浙江省溫州市松(song)臺山南(nan)麓。系東(dong)甌著名古剎,始創于(yu)唐神龍年間(705年),為一代宗師(shi)宿覺大師(shi)所建。盛于(yu)宋(song),高僧繼忠大師(shi)曾卓(zhuo)錫方丈,大振宗風,一度成為東(dong)南(nan)沿海朝圣之(zhi)名剎。
妙(miao)(miao)果寺(si)于(yu)清(qing)順治(zhi)十四(si)年曾毀于(yu)一場大(da)(da)火(huo),雖于(yu)康熙十四(si)年重修,但規(gui)模已非(fei)昔日(ri)可比(bi)。后(hou)開(kai)拓公路時妙(miao)(miao)果寺(si)被拆除,其間文(wen)(wen)物、大(da)(da)師(shi)舍利、宋(song)鎏(liu)金銅佛及大(da)(da)師(shi)生平小石(shi)碑現藏華東文(wen)(wen)物館。妙(miao)(miao)果寺(si)作(zuo)為(wei)浙(zhe)江(jiang)省政府批(pi)準重點對外開(kai)放寺(si)院。
建筑
1983年修復重(zhong)建,重(zhong)建前(qian)后長達十余(yu)年之久,現在天王殿、大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿、觀音(yin)閣(ge)及兩樓房,雕梁畫棟,金碧輝(hui)煌;飛檐(yan)斗拱,氣勢雄(xiong)渾(hun),全國政協副主席趙(zhao)樸初(chu)親書(shu)(shu)“大(da)(da)雄(xiong)寶殿”,書(shu)(shu)壇(tan)巨匠沙孟海(hai)額(e)(e)書(shu)(shu)“妙果(guo)寺”,96年佛學(xue)大(da)(da)師南(nan)懷瑾行生書(shu)(shu)“宿(su)覺(jue)名山”匾,端莊矯健,金光閃閃,書(shu)(shu)壇(tan)諸(zhu)子紛(fen)(fen)紛(fen)(fen)撰(zhuan)書(shu)(shu)匾額(e)(e)楹聯為(wei)妙果(guo)寺增(zeng)輝(hui)添彩(cai)。
大殿正柱(zhu)有原住(zhu)持雪(xue)生老(lao)和尚生前撰聯:“凈光(guang)塔院,普(pu)覺鐘(zhong)聲,追思唐代宗風永嘉獨著;甌浦云峰,霞潭月色,想見宋僧道積(ji)妙果同懷。”后殿有現住(zhu)持達崇法師聯:“七(qi)寶莊嚴(yan),一角小(xiao)山(shan)藏世界;三乘庇蔭(yin),十方大地涌(yong)潮音。”
住持
妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)現(xian)任住(zhu)持(chi)達照(zhao)(zhao)法師(shi),(達照(zhao)(zhao)法師(shi),俗姓林,筆名天(tian)臺(tai)子,1972年出生于(yu)浙(zhe)江省文成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)縣(xian),1989年于(yu)七甲寺(si)(si)依了識長(chang)老出家,屬于(yu)嫡傳天(tian)臺(tai)教(jiao)觀第(di)46代。現(xian)任普陀山(shan)佛學(xue)(xue)院研(yan)(yan)究(jiu)(jiu)生導師(shi)、蘇州戒幢佛學(xue)(xue)研(yan)(yan)究(jiu)(jiu)所研(yan)(yan)究(jiu)(jiu)員、湖南(nan)省常德市(shi)禪學(xue)(xue)會(hui)名譽會(hui)長(chang)、溫州市(shi)佛教(jiao)協會(hui)副(fu)會(hui)長(chang)、溫州佛教(jiao)永嘉(jia)禪學(xue)(xue)會(hui)會(hui)長(chang)、溫州市(shi)妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)、第(di)七屆(jie)文成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)縣(xian)政協常委、文成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)縣(xian)佛教(jiao)協會(hui)會(hui)長(chang)、文成(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)(cheng)縣(xian)七甲寺(si)(si)住(zhu)持(chi)、安(an)福(fu)寺(si)(si)修建委員會(hui)主任。)
豬頭鐘
相傳宋(song)神(shen)宗(zong)元豐年間(jian)(1078-1085),在(zai)繼忠大師(shi)主持妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)時(shi)(shi)(shi),有(you)(you)一(yi)客(ke)僧(seng)來(lai)寺(si)(si)掛單(dan)修身,其(qi)貌若(ruo)愚,然(ran)出語(yu)必合宗(zong)乘。日間(jian)入市丐化,布施所得,悉(xi)購豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou)歸寺(si)(si)酣(han)酌,繼忠大師(shi)觀之(zhi)若(ruo)無(wu)其(qi)事,任其(qi)息跡去留。一(yi)日負鋤至(zhi)寺(si)(si)旁山(shan)(shan)麓(lu)掘一(yi)土井,將所剩豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou)骨悉(xi)藏井內(nei),壓(ya)一(yi)大石,并以(yi)(yi)土泥涂封,對(dui)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)說(shuo):“吾歷年所募(mu)鑄一(yi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),今七七日后于此成(cheng)就”。此后就不(bu)見客(ke)僧(seng)蹤跡。時(shi)(shi)(shi)逾月余(yu),寺(si)(si)僧(seng)掘土果見一(yi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),猛熱熾然(ran),高約三尺,非(fei)銅非(fei)鐵,酷似青石,音響鏗明(ming),頂上二豬(zhu)首拼作鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu),迥(jiong)異尋常捕牢獅龍之(zhi)慣(guan)例(li)。故(gu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)皆以(yi)(yi)“豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”名之(zhi)。傳說(shuo)因其(qi)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)未(wei)到49日,火未(wei)退完,敲擊時(shi)(shi)(shi)城內(nei)外常有(you)(you)火災出現。民國八年(1919),國威不(bu)振(zhen),本地任某請來(lai)上海技師(shi)將鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)截斷,竊去國外。自(zi)此,神(shen)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)就不(bu)復(fu)懸(xuan)掛,于是建“古鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭”藏之(zhi)。因該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)鈕(niu)活(huo)像(xiang)兩個豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou),故(gu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)稱(cheng)“豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。也有(you)(you)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)說(shuo)該鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)原(yuan)名“濟(ji)陀(tuo)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)們(men)諧稱(cheng)“豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”。我們(men)對(dui)這(zhe)傳說(shuo)無(wu)須認真(zhen)去尋根究(jiu)底,"假作真(zhen)時(shi)(shi)(shi)真(zhen)亦(yi)假,無(wu)為(wei)有(you)(you)處(chu)有(you)(you)還無(wu)",長(chang)留在(zai)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)們(men)的想(xiang)像(xiang)中豈(qi)不(bu)更(geng)好。1987年重(zhong)建鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)亭,亭聯(lian):“稽于史實,松(song)臺山(shan)(shan)上仙人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)井;留得民謠,妙(miao)果寺(si)(si)中豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。”亭內(nei)的無(wu)紐“濟(ji)陀(tuo)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)”,為(wei)宋(song)時(shi)(shi)(shi)物(wu),高1.3米,直(zhi)徑為(wei)0.8米。豬(zhu)頭(tou)(tou)鐘(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)現已由市文物(wu)館追還。
