根據龍川(chuan)縣志記載,早在清朝年間,陳(chen)順(shun)(shun)升(興寧南門人)來到龍川(chuan)老(lao)(lao)隆老(lao)(lao)街經商,開了一間食品店,取名(ming)就叫陳(chen)順(shun)(shun)升店。當時(shi),陳(chen)老(lao)(lao)人用糯米粉加各種原料做成(cheng)糕點(dian),因(yin)為出(chu)鍋的糕點(dian)又(you)黃又(you)韌,很像牛筋,于是取名(ming)叫牛筋糕。

“老隆牛筋糕”是廣東(dong)(dong)(dong)省龍(long)川縣餅食(shi)糖(tang)果廠商(shang)標注冊的拳頭(tou)產品(pin)。產品(pin)馳(chi)名(ming)中外,遠銷東(dong)(dong)(dong)南亞一帶(dai),授有“東(dong)(dong)(dong)江特產”之美譽(yu),曾多次榮(rong)獲廣東(dong)(dong)(dong)省優質產品(pin)稱號。
