博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)空心(xin)(xin)(xin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai))歷史(shi)悠久(jiu),品(pin)種優良,尤其以(yi)(yi)博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)縣(xian)(xian)城郊(jiao)南門(men)塘的(de)(de)最(zui)有名。古(gu)時(shi)的(de)(de)廣西玉(yu)林曾有過(guo)這樣的(de)(de)說法(fa):“陸川(chuan)豬,北流魚,博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)靚蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)”。可(ke)見(jian)博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)空心(xin)(xin)(xin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai))確實早已(yi)(yi)譽滿神州,名揚(yang)海外(wai)。博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)縣(xian)(xian)第(di)二(er)(er)本縣(xian)(xian)志(zhi)(zhi),為(wei)清道光十二(er)(er)年(nian)(1832年(nian))重鑄的(de)(de)乾(qian)隆(long)時(shi)期的(de)(de)《博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)縣(xian)(xian)志(zhi)(zhi)》(第(di)一(yi)(yi)(yi)本縣(xian)(xian)志(zhi)(zhi)是乾(qian)隆(long)時(shi)期的(de)(de)手(shou)抄本,已(yi)(yi)失傳(chuan)),在該縣(xian)(xian)志(zhi)(zhi)第(di)三冊,十二(er)(er)卷物(wu)產綱,蔬屬篇中,就有“蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)”的(de)(de)記(ji)載(zai),據《博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)縣(xian)(xian)志(zhi)(zhi)》(1988建國后(hou)第(di)一(yi)(yi)(yi)冊)卷九第(di)一(yi)(yi)(yi)章第(di)一(yi)(yi)(yi)目記(ji)載(zai):“博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai),又叫(jiao)空心(xin)(xin)(xin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai),或通心(xin)(xin)(xin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai),是一(yi)(yi)(yi)年(nian)生(sheng)草(cao)本植物(wu),莖空心(xin)(xin)(xin),蔓生(sheng),是博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)縣(xian)(xian)的(de)(de)特(te)產鮮(xian)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)。它栽植于水田,特(te)點是莖長葉疏(shu)、葉尾(wei)尖細(xi)、鮮(xian)綠(lv)脆(cui)嫩;把莖蔓折斷成(cheng)段,其斷口(kou)即(ji)裂開卷縮,狀似喇叭;煮熟后(hou),次日仍保(bao)(bao)持(chi)原(yuan)來的(de)(de)青綠(lv)色澤(ze)。博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)湯清淡可(ke)口(kou)被譽為(wei)“青龍過(guo)海”,是人(ren)們喜愛的(de)(de)素(su)食(shi)湯菜(cai)(cai)(cai)之一(yi)(yi)(yi)。博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)具有清暑解毒、消食(shi)去(qu)膩、生(sheng)津(jin)、消炎之功能。便秘者(zhe),吃上能使(shi)大便暢(chang)通;對高血壓(ya)病(bing)人(ren)亦(yi)有療(liao)養(yang)。博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)歷史(shi)悠久(jiu),200多年(nian)前,已(yi)(yi)名揚(yang)海外(wai)。博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)以(yi)(yi)鮮(xian)美脆(cui)嫩著稱,遠銷區內(nei)外(wai)。一(yi)(yi)(yi)位詩人(ren)品(pin)嘗(chang)博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)后(hou),曾留下“席間一(yi)(yi)(yi)試(shi)青龍味,半夜醒來嘴猶香(xiang)”的(de)(de)詩句(ju)。游(you)子歸(gui)來以(yi)(yi)吃上博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)最(zui)為(wei)稱心(xin)(xin)(xin),外(wai)來旅人(ren)也以(yi)(yi)品(pin)嘗(chang)博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)為(wei)快。博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)田,泥肉較深(shen),土質肥(fei)沃(wo),灌(guan)溉方(fang)便,經常(chang)保(bao)(bao)持(chi)4到5寸水層;肥(fei)料全部施用(yong)腐熟的(de)(de)農(nong)家(jia)水肥(fei),不施化肥(fei)。但在異國他鄉用(yong)博(bo)(bo)白(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)(bai)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)的(de)(de)種子培植的(de)(de)蕹(weng)(weng)(weng)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)味道卻大為(wei)遜色。”
