崇唐(tang)觀(guan)(guan)造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)位(wei)于(yu)登(deng)封市北部嵩(song)山(shan)街道(dao)中岳(yue)嵩(song)山(shan)太(tai)室山(shan)南麓逍(xiao)遙谷崇唐(tang)觀(guan)(guan)老君(jun)(jun)(jun)殿內,崇唐(tang)觀(guan)(guan)原名“隆(long)唐(tang)觀(guan)(guan)”,唐(tang)調露元(yuan)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(679年(nian)(nian)(nian)),高宗與武(wu)則天(tian)(tian)游嵩(song)山(shan)到逍(xiao)遙谷訪名道(dao)潘師正(zheng),賜建“隆(long)唐(tang)觀(guan)(guan)”。后曾多次修建,現(xian)(xian)存(cun)清(qing)代老君(jun)(jun)(jun)殿一(yi)座(zuo),山(shan)門一(yi)座(zuo),元(yuan)始(shi)天(tian)(tian)尊(zun)(zun)石造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)一(yi)尊(zun)(zun),唐(tang)碑(bei)(bei)二(er)塊,清(qing)碑(bei)(bei)一(yi)塊。元(yuan)始(shi)天(tian)(tian)尊(zun)(zun)像(xiang)(xiang)雕造(zao)于(yu)長壽二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(693年(nian)(nian)(nian)),通高2.8米(mi),坐高1.58米(mi)。天(tian)(tian)尊(zun)(zun)頭飾發髻,身(shen)披道(dao)袍,身(shen)前置三(san)足(zu)憑幾,坐于(yu)束腰(yao)(yao)蓮花(hua)須彌座(zuo)。束腰(yao)(yao)處雕刻伎樂,正(zheng)面伎樂之上刻有“大周(zhou)隆(long)唐(tang)觀(guan)(guan)敬造(zao)元(yuan)始(shi)天(tian)(tian)尊(zun)(zun)像(xiang)(xiang)并(bing)左(zuo)右二(er)真人(ren),長壽二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)十月十五日畢功謹記”。該造(zao)像(xiang)(xiang)是我國現(xian)(xian)存(cun)最(zui)早,保存(cun)最(zui)完整的元(yuan)始(shi)天(tian)(tian)尊(zun)(zun)神(shen)像(xiang)(xiang)。唐(tang)碑(bei)(bei)分別為唐(tang)垂拱二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(686年(nian)(nian)(nian))中岳(yue)隱居太(tai)和先(xian)生瑯耶刻立的“唐(tang)王徵君(jun)(jun)(jun)之碣(jie)”碑(bei)(bei),和唐(tang)圣歷二(er)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(699年(nian)(nian)(nian))王適撰文(wen)(wen)、司馬(ma)承(cheng)禎(zhen)書《唐(tang)墨(mo)山(shan)中岳(yue)體元(yuan)先(xian)生大中大夫潘師正(zheng)碣(jie)文(wen)(wen)并(bing)序(xu)》碑(bei)(bei);清(qing)碑(bei)(bei)為“重(zhong)修老君(jun)(jun)(jun)殿金裝神(shen)像(xiang)(xiang)碑(bei)(bei)”。
崇唐觀(guan)是我國古代道教活動場(chang)所(suo),觀(guan)內石(shi)造(zao)像及碑刻具有重要的(de)歷(li)史、書法和藝(yi)(yi)術價(jia)值,是研究我國古代雕刻和書法藝(yi)(yi)術的(de)珍貴實(shi)物資料。
