蕹菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai),俗稱空(kong)心(xin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、通(tong)心(xin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、無心(xin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、空(kong)筒(tong)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、竹(zhu)葉菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、通(tong)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、筒(tong)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、應菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、管菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、藤菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、藤藤菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、蓊菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)、通(tong)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)蓊、抽筋(jin)菜(cai)(cai)(cai)(cai)等。
據《云霄廳志》記載“蕹菜”條釋:“莖空而性寒。《遯齋(zhai)間覽》:本生東(dong)夷古倫國(guo),番(fan)舶(bo)以(yi)甕(weng)盛之(zhi)載其(qi)種歸(gui),故(gu)名(ming)‘甕(weng)菜’;浦人(云霄人)或編葦為筏,作小孔,浮水面,插菜其(qi)上,莖葉敷(fu)榮,食之(zhi)能解眾毒。”
《閩(min)南民間草藥》記載(zai):
(1)治淋濁(zhuo),小便(bian)血,大(da)便(bian)血:鮮蕹(weng)菜洗凈,搗爛取汁,和(he)蜂蜜酌量(liang)服(fu)之(zhi)
(2)治(zhi)皮膚(fu)濕癢:鮮(xian)蕹菜,水煎數沸,候(hou)微溫洗患處,日洗一次。
(3)治蛇咬(yao)傷:蕹(weng)菜(cai)洗(xi)凈搗爛,取(qu)汁約半碗和酒服之,渣涂患處。
(4)治(zhi)蜈(wu)蚣咬傷:鮮蕹菜,食鹽少(shao)許,共搓爛,擦患(huan)處。
蕹菜,番薯屬一年生或多年生草本,以綠葉和嫩莖供食用。云霄是最早種植的地區之一,是我國引種后原產地之一,歷史悠久。云霄民(min)歌民(min)謠(yao)中有一(yi)首:“蕹(weng)(weng)菜(cai)開(kai)花(hua)芋啊范(fan),嫁給老翁勿情愿,嘴秋長長好扮蚊,一(yi)瞑無困氣死人”。云霄民(min)俗“普渡(du)節(做中元)”中,蕹(weng)(weng)菜(cai)是供(gong)品必備的一(yi)色(se)。云霄美食中,最(zui)有特色(se)的一(yi)味“蕹(weng)(weng)菜(cai)炒(chao)鱔魚”,不(bu)但營養(yang)豐富,而且還可治療“流鼻血(xue)”。
