漫(man)河(he)(he)西瓜(gua)(gua)是衡(heng)水阜城縣漫(man)河(he)(he)鄉(xiang)傳統種植作(zuo)物，據記載，清(qing)朝(chao)乾隆年間就有種植，距今已有幾百年歷史。漫(man)河(he)(he)的(de)沙質(zhi)土壤使西瓜(gua)(gua)種植具備得天獨厚的(de)優(you)勢(shi)，漫(man)河(he)(he)西瓜(gua)(gua)沙瓤(rang)、薄皮、甜度高(gao)，口(kou)味獨特。漫(man)河(he)(he)鄉(xiang)1998年注冊了(le)“漫(man)河(he)(he)牌(pai)”西瓜(gua)(gua)商標；2002年漫(man)河(he)(he)鄉(xiang)被省(sheng)農(nong)業(ye)廳認定為“河(he)(he)北西瓜(gua)(gua)之鄉(xiang)”。連(lian)續六年被評(ping)為河(he)(he)北省(sheng)名優(you)農(nong)產(chan)品。
一、種植模式
漫(man)河西(xi)瓜有春秋棚(peng)、小拱(gong)棚(peng)、露地種植(zhi)(zhi)三種種植(zhi)(zhi)模(mo)式，上市時間由(you)5月上旬一直到9月份。全鄉西(xi)瓜種植(zhi)(zhi)面積(ji)(ji)3萬畝，占全鄉土地面積(ji)(ji)的(de)60%，產量(liang)達到2.5億(yi)公斤，農民實現(xian)收入1億(yi)元。在漫(man)河的(de)輻射帶動下，周邊鄉鎮(zhen)和縣市的(de)西(xi)瓜種植(zhi)(zhi)面積(ji)(ji)也在不斷發(fa)展擴(kuo)大。
2005年，漫河(he)鄉建立(li)了300畝的育苗基地，2006年又建成(cheng)(cheng)了衡德(de)瓜(gua)(gua)菜批(pi)發(fa)(fa)市場，還牽(qian)頭成(cheng)(cheng)立(li)了漫河(he)瓜(gua)(gua)菜服務(wu)中心、漫河(he)鄉西(xi)瓜(gua)(gua)協會和衡德(de)瓜(gua)(gua)菜批(pi)發(fa)(fa)市場管委(wei)會等組織，2007年建成(cheng)(cheng)了10公里的瓜(gua)(gua)菜環線，并成(cheng)(cheng)功舉(ju)辦了第一屆(jie)(jie)漫河(he)西(xi)瓜(gua)(gua)節。至今已舉(ju)辦六屆(jie)(jie)西(xi)瓜(gua)(gua)節。
二、漫河西瓜節
漫河西瓜節自2007年(nian)至2012年(nian)已(yi)舉辦六屆西瓜節。
