天(tian)師(shi)(shi)張道(dao)(dao)陵,于(yu)東漢中期(qi)“自天(tian)目山游南(nan)岳,謁青玉(yu)、光天(tian)二(er)(er)壇,禮祝融君(jun)祠(ci)”,東漢末至魏晉(jin)之交,先后(hou)又有張正禮、冶明期(qi)和(he)陳(chen)興明等名(ming)道(dao)(dao)在南(nan)岳棲止修真(zhen),上清派第一(yi)(yi)代宗師(shi)(shi)魏華(hua)存,于(yu)東晉(jin)初入南(nan)岳,開壇布道(dao)(dao)。從東漢至晚(wan)清,在湖南(nan)境內(nei)從事修真(zhen)、傳道(dao)(dao)的著名(ming)高(gao)道(dao)(dao),達數百(bai)人之多(duo),其中南(nan)岳高(gao)道(dao)(dao)一(yi)(yi)百(bai)一(yi)(yi)十(shi)余人。在“三(san)十(shi)六洞(dong)天(tian)”、“七十(shi)二(er)(er)福地”中,湖南(nan)分別占有六“洞(dong)天(tian)”和(he)十(shi)二(er)(er)“福地”。
湖(hu)南道教宮(gong)(gong)(gong)觀(guan)的興建,始于魏晉,盛于唐(tang)宋,全(quan)盛時達數百所。目前,全(quan)省正式(shi)對外開放的著名宮(gong)(gong)(gong)觀(guan)除南岳廟東八觀(guan)以及黃庭、玄(xuan)都(dou)、紫竹林、祖師(shi)殿、朱陵宮(gong)(gong)(gong)等(deng)宮(gong)(gong)(gong)觀(guan)外,尚有長(chang)沙(sha)云麓(lu)宮(gong)(gong)(gong)、河圖觀(guan)、陶公廟,桃源九(jiu)龍山(shan)、株(zhu)州(zhou)仙岳山(shan)、茶陵云陽仙、郴州(zhou)蘇仙觀(guan),永順祖師(shi)殿等(deng)宮(gong)(gong)(gong)觀(guan)50余座。
道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)是中國土(tu)生土(tu)長的(de)宗教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)。湖南(nan)(nan)(nan)是道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)傳(chuan)播(bo)(bo)和活(huo)動的(de)重要地區(qu)。據傳(chuan)說,早在(zai)(zai)道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)創(chuang)始期(qi),東漢末年創(chuang)建五斗米道(dao)的(de)張道(dao)陵,“嘗自天目山游南(nan)(nan)(nan)岳(yue)(yue),謁表(biao)玉、光(guang)天二(er)壇,禮(li)祝融君祠”。道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)在(zai)(zai)湖南(nan)(nan)(nan)的(de)正式傳(chuan)播(bo)(bo),當(dang)始于東晉時期(qi)的(de)著名女道(dao)姑魏華存,在(zai)(zai)南(nan)(nan)(nan)岳(yue)(yue)潛心修道(dao)16年,傳(chuan)播(bo)(bo)上(shang)清經錄(lu),為道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)上(shang)清派(pai)的(de)創(chuang)始人(ren),在(zai)(zai)湖南(nan)(nan)(nan)最早播(bo)(bo)下了道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)的(de)種子。被(bei)封為南(nan)(nan)(nan)岳(yue)(yue)夫人(ren),人(ren)稱(cheng)魏夫人(ren)。唐代(dai)道(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)鼎盛,湖南(nan)(nan)(nan)亦獲得長足(zu)發(fa)展。
當(dang)時全國道教(jiao)活動(dong)地(di)址(zhi),逐步有三(san)山(shan)(shan)(shan)五(wu)岳、三(san)十六洞天、七十二福地(di)之稱。而在三(san)山(shan)(shan)(shan)五(wu)岳中(zhong),湖南占其(qi)一,即(ji)南岳衡山(shan)(shan)(shan);三(san)十六洞天中(zhong),湖南占其(qi)六;七十二福地(di)中(zhong),湖南有其(qi)十三(san)。明(ming)代,湖南道教(jiao)多(duo)為武當(dang)道的繼承和傳(chuan)播者,各地(di)多(duo)建(jian)有供(gong)奉(feng)真(zhen)武大帝(di)神(shen)像(xiang)的“祖師殿(dian)”。著名的有長沙(sha)岳麓(lu)山(shan)(shan)(shan)云麓(lu)宮(gong)、慈利五(wu)雷山(shan)(shan)(shan)、岳陽(yang)大云山(shan)(shan)(shan)、張家界(jie)朝天觀(guan)等。近代時期,湖南道教(jiao)在總的趨(qu)向衰落(luo)過程中(zhong),仍有所建(jian)樹,主要是新建(jian)和重建(jian)了一些宮(gong)觀(guan),如:長沙(sha)河圖觀(guan)、斗姥閣,南岳祖師殿(dian),及瀏陽(yang)青陽(yang)山(shan)(shan)(shan)道院等。
湖南(nan)(nan)道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)不僅由(you)來已久,而(er)且歷代(dai)高道(dao)(dao)輩出。僅清《南(nan)(nan)岳志》記載,從東漢(han)至明(ming)清時代(dai),在南(nan)(nan)岳隱居和(he)授業的(de)名羽高道(dao)(dao)就有(you)109人,或(huo)(huo)結廬修道(dao)(dao),或(huo)(huo)參(can)訪云游,或(huo)(huo)談(tan)玄講道(dao)(dao),或(huo)(huo)立說著書。近代(dai)湖南(nan)(nan)道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)人士還適應時代(dai)潮(chao)流,組織過一(yi)些道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)社團(tuan)和(he)機構,如1912年成(cheng)立的(de)中國(guo)道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)(jiao)會(hui)湘支部。
特別有影響(xiang)的是1939年在南岳成(cheng)立的“南岳佛道(dao)(dao)救難協會”。這是周恩來(lai)、葉劍英同志(zhi)親(qin)自動員支持并(bing)(bing)建議定名(ming)的抗日(ri)救亡組織(zhi),葉劍英應邀參(can)加了成(cheng)立會,并(bing)(bing)發表講演,號召愛國(guo)(guo)宗教(jiao)徒走出(chu)禪房道(dao)(dao)觀(guan),積極投入抗日(ri)救亡運動,在全國(guo)(guo)產(chan)生了良(liang)好的影響(xiang)在中(zhong)國(guo)(guo)的許多(duo)旅(lv)游(you)勝地(di),常常見(jian)到洞(dong)天(tian)、福(fu)地(di)之名(ming),所謂(wei)“洞(dong)天(tian)福(fu)地(di)”,是道(dao)(dao)教(jiao)選定的仙(xian)(xian)境:“洞(dong)天(tian)”,指有山巒合抱中(zhong)虛,兼采陰(yin)陽二(er)氣的“洞(dong)室”通達上天(tian),神仙(xian)(xian)主(zhu)治,眾仙(xian)(xian)所居,凡夫道(dao)(dao)士居此(ci)修煉,即(ji)(ji)可登仙(xian)(xian);“福(fu)地(di)”即(ji)(ji)謂(wei)“得福(fu)之地(di)”,多(duo)為地(di)仙(xian)(xian)、真人主(zhu)宰,居此(ci)即(ji)(ji)可受福(fu)度世成(cheng)仙(xian)(xian)。
洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)福(fu)地觀念形成(cheng)于東晉以(yi)前,早期道經《道跡經》、《真誥》均已(yi)提(ti)到“十(shi)大洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)”、“福(fu)地志(zhi)”。南北(bei)朝道書(shu)《敷(fu)齋威儀經》將天(tian)(tian)下分(fen)為“二十(shi)四(si)治(zhi)、三十(shi)六靖廬(lu),七十(shi)二福(fu)地,三百六十(shi)五名山(shan)……”,洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)福(fu)地具體名目(mu)則首先(xian)載于唐道士(shi)司馬(ma)承禎(647——735)所(suo)編(bian)《天(tian)(tian)地宮府圖(tu)》,以(yi)及后(hou)來唐道士(shi)杜(du)光庭(850——933)《洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)福(fu)地岳瀆名山(shan)記》和北(bei)宋道士(shi)李思(si)聰(cong)《洞(dong)淵集》等書(shu)中。
湖南(nan)地處華中(zhong),道教(jiao)文化淵源流長。全(quan)國“36小洞天(tian)(tian)(tian)”,湖南(nan)境(jing)(jing)內(nei)就有6處:即(ji)南(nan)岳衡山(shan)(shan)洞天(tian)(tian)(tian)、醴陵(ling)(ling)小溈(gui)山(shan)(shan)洞天(tian)(tian)(tian)、醴陵(ling)(ling)瓷業(ye)源頭(tou)——溈(gui)山(shan)(shan)古(gu)洞天(tian)(tian)(tian);東堡溈(gui)山(shan)(shan),眾山(shan)(shan)環(huan)繞,綿(mian)亙數十里,泉清林茂,風景秀麗(li),當(dang)地稱(cheng)“古(gu)洞天(tian)(tian)(tian)”。所謂“洞天(tian)(tian)(tian)福地”,是道教(jiao)選定(ding)的仙(xian)境(jing)(jing)。“洞天(tian)(tian)(tian)”,指有山(shan)(shan)巒合抱,中(zhong)虛而兼采陰陽二氣的“洞室”,可直達上(shang)天(tian)(tian)(tian),為神仙(xian)所居(ju)洞府,凡夫、道士居(ju)此修(xiu)煉,即(ji)可登(deng)仙(xian)。
雖是(shi)(shi)道家之說,但這些(xie)地方確實(shi)是(shi)(shi)神奇清幽,山(shan)靈(ling)水秀,有(you)其(qi)獨特魅力。溈山(shan)洞(dong)(dong)天(tian)(tian),峽谷幽深,溪流(liu)潺(chan)潺(chan),清澈見底。沖口截流(liu)筑壩(ba),建望(wang)仙橋(qiao)水庫。日益成為令人向(xiang)往(wang)自(zi)然的旅游佳境。相對于(yu)十大(da)洞(dong)(dong)天(tian)(tian),唐(tang)代(dai)道教(jiao)名人司馬承(cheng)楨《天(tian)(tian)宮地府圖》,列全(quan)國道教(jiao)36小洞(dong)(dong)天(tian)(tian),72福(fu)地中,湖南(nan)有(you)洞(dong)(dong)天(tian)(tian)6處,福(fu)地12處。
醴陵(ling)溈山(shan)(shan)是第十三小洞天(tian):小溈山(shan)(shan)好生玄上(shang)洞天(tian),相(xiang)傳為仙(xian)人花(hua)邱林和傅天(tian)師(shi)修煉之仙(xian)居。唐代(dai),大(da)緣(yuan)禪師(shi)在(zai)溈山(shan)(shan)建寺,宋殿元(yuan)易祓書匾(bian):小溈山(shan)(shan)寺,又名大(da)通(tong)寺。清雍(yong)正(zheng)七(qi)年(1729),自(zi)廣(guang)東(dong)興(xing)寧移居醴陵(ling)的廖仲威,在(zai)溈山(shan)(shan)及附近廣(guang)大(da)地區發現瓷泥,即向小溈山(shan)(shan)寺住持智慧賃山(shan)(shan)采(cai)泥,并邀約同鄉(xiang)技(ji)工20余(yu)人,在(zai)當地招工,傳授技(ji)藝,創辦(ban)瓷廠,生產釉下青花(hua)瓷,是醴陵(ling)瓷業(ye)發源(yuan)地。后(hou)逐(zhu)漸向赤(chi)竹(zhu)嶺、老鴉(ya)山(shan)(shan)、王(wang)仙(xian)、大(da)林、漆家坳、五石(shi)窯前等地擴(kuo)展。
興旺時、溈(gui)山有瓷廠百(bai)余家,成為醴陵的(de)瓷業生產經(jing)(jing)營中心,成為造福溈(gui)山及其周邊地區的(de)新興產業基地,成為推動醴陵經(jing)(jing)濟社會進步的(de)新“洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)”,曾有“小南京”之(zhi)美稱。廖仲威等在小溈(gui)山寺后(hou)為先師樊(fan)進德(明朝人)建(jian)樊(fan)公廟。每年(nian)農(nong)歷五(wu)月十六日(ri)(ri)為樊(fan)公生日(ri)(ri),大開(kai)廟門,各(ge)廠業主(zhu)、技師、徒工齊來拜祭。平時各(ge)廠開(kai)窯(yao)必祭祀(si)小溈(gui)山寺于1990年(nian)前后(hou)修復,1996年(nian)再建(jian)山門。樊(fan)公廟于1958年(nian)被拆毀(hui)。寧遠九嶷山洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)、望城洞(dong)陽(yang)山洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)、辰溪大酉山洞(dong)天(tian)(tian)、桃源(yuan)桃源(yuan)山洞(dong)天(tian)(tian),第二十五(wu),幕阜山洞(dong),名“玄真太元天(tian)(tian)”。
