無量壽經介紹 佛說無量壽經原文及譯文(四)

摘要:《無量壽經》全稱《佛說無量壽經》,亦稱《大阿彌陀經》(參閱漢譯版本),是凈土宗的基本經典之一,為“凈土五經一論”中的一經,凈土宗的大部分修行方法均可在該經中找到理論依據。經中介紹阿彌陀佛(無量壽佛)所發諸大愿(依版本不同而數量不一,最多為四十八愿),建立彌陀凈土接引十方世界眾生,以及彌陀凈土的大概樣貌,下面請看無量壽經第三十一至四十的原文及譯文。

真實功德第三十一

【原文】其智(zhi)宏深(shen),譬如(ru)巨(ju)海;菩(pu)提高廣,喻若須彌;自(zi)身威光,超于(yu)日(ri)月;其心潔白(bai),猶(you)如(ru)雪山;忍(ren)辱如(ru)地,一切(qie)平(ping)等;清(qing)凈(jing)如(ru)水,洗諸(zhu)塵(chen)垢;熾盛(sheng)如(ru)火(huo),燒(shao)煩(fan)惱薪;不(bu)著如(ru)風(feng),無(wu)諸(zhu)障礙。法音雷(lei)震,覺未覺故(gu)(gu);雨甘(gan)露法,潤眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)故(gu)(gu);曠若虛空,大(da)慈等故(gu)(gu);如(ru)凈(jing)蓮(lian)華,離染(ran)污故(gu)(gu);如(ru)尼拘樹,覆蔭(yin)大(da)故(gu)(gu);如(ru)金剛杵(chu),破邪執故(gu)(gu);如(ru)鐵(tie)圍山,眾(zhong)魔(mo)外道(dao)不(bu)能動故(gu)(gu)。其心正直,善巧決定(ding);論法無(wu)厭,求法不(bu)倦;戒若琉璃,內外明(ming)(ming)潔;其所言說,令眾(zhong)悅服(fu)。擊(ji)法鼓,建法幢,曜(yao)慧日(ri),破癡暗(an)。淳凈(jing)溫和,寂定(ding)明(ming)(ming)察(cha)。為大(da)導師(shi),調(diao)伏(fu)自(zi)他(ta)。引導群生(sheng)(sheng),舍諸(zhu)愛(ai)著。永(yong)離三(san)(san)垢,游(you)戲神通。因緣愿力,出生(sheng)(sheng)善根。摧伏(fu)一切(qie)魔(mo)軍(jun),尊重奉事(shi)諸(zhu)佛(fo)。為世明(ming)(ming)燈,最勝(sheng)福田(tian),殊勝(sheng)吉(ji)祥,堪受供養(yang)。赫奕(yi)歡喜,雄猛(meng)無(wu)畏。身色(se)相好,功(gong)德辯才,具足莊(zhuang)嚴,無(wu)與(yu)等者(zhe)(zhe)。常為諸(zhu)佛(fo)所共稱贊。究竟菩(pu)薩(sa)(sa)諸(zhu)波羅(luo)蜜,而常安住(zhu)不(bu)生(sheng)(sheng)不(bu)滅(mie)諸(zhu)三(san)(san)摩地。行遍道(dao)場,遠二乘境(jing)。阿難,我今略說彼極(ji)樂界(jie),所生(sheng)(sheng)菩(pu)薩(sa)(sa),真實功(gong)德,悉皆如(ru)是。若廣說者(zhe)(zhe),百千萬劫不(bu)能窮盡。

【譯文】極樂世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie)菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)智(zhi)慧(hui)宏大(da)(da)(da)深(shen)廣(guang)(guang),猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)大(da)(da)(da)海(hai);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)提(ti)覺悟(wu)的(de)(de)(de)高廣(guang)(guang)宏大(da)(da)(da),有如(ru)(ru)(ru)妙高山;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)自身顯(xian)發的(de)(de)(de)威嚴之(zhi)光,超過了太陽和月亮;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)心(xin)(xin)境(jing)的(de)(de)(de)潔凈(jing)無(wu)垢(gou),又(you)像(xiang)那潔白的(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)(da)雪山;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)忍受侮辱的(de)(de)(de)精(jing)神(shen),與那默(mo)(mo)默(mo)(mo)承負一(yi)切(qie)重荷的(de)(de)(de)大(da)(da)(da)地一(yi)樣:大(da)(da)(da)地載物不(bu)分輕重,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)度人也不(bu)分親疏;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)清凈(jing)境(jing)界(jie)(jie),可與除塵(chen)洗(xi)垢(gou)的(de)(de)(de)清水(shui)相比:清水(shui)溪流(liu)可洗(xi)世(shi)(shi)(shi)塵(chen),菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)清凈(jing)可洗(xi)心(xin)(xin)塵(chen);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)智(zhi)慧(hui)熾盛,如(ru)(ru)(ru)同火焰:智(zhi)慧(hui)之(zhi)火燒盡煩(fan)惱之(zhi)薪柴;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)不(bu)執著的(de)(de)(de)品(pin)(pin)性如(ru)(ru)(ru)同大(da)(da)(da)風:風拂世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie),無(wu)所(suo)(suo)不(bu)到,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)行遍世(shi)(shi)(shi)界(jie)(jie),自由自在而(er)無(wu)所(suo)(suo)障(zhang)礙;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)宣講傳布(bu)的(de)(de)(de)佛(fo)法(fa)大(da)(da)(da)音(yin),加同雷聲(sheng)遠(yuan)達,震醒了世(shi)(shi)(shi)間癡迷而(er)未覺悟(wu)之(zhi)人;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)教法(fa)猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)甘露:甘露滋(zi)(zi)潤(run)大(da)(da)(da)地萬物,佛(fo)法(fa)滋(zi)(zi)潤(run)眾(zhong)生心(xin)(xin)靈;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)平等慈悲猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)虛(xu)空(kong):虛(xu)空(kong)廣(guang)(guang)大(da)(da)(da)無(wu)邊(bian)無(wu)際,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)慈悲也無(wu)邊(bian)無(wu)際蔭(yin)庇(bi)眾(zhong)生;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)品(pin)(pin)格(ge)猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)白蓮:蓮花不(bu)離(li)污(wu)(wu)泥(ni)但又(you)出污(wu)(wu)泥(ni)而(er)不(bu)染(ran),菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)不(bu)舍眾(zhong)生,但身處濁世(shi)(shi)(shi)穢(hui)土而(er)仍(reng)然清凈(jing);菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)胸懷(huai)猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)尼枸(gou)(gou)樹(shu):尼枸(gou)(gou)樹(shu)寬闊(kuo)而(er)遮(zhe)陽蔽(bi)日,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)胸懷(huai)也能(neng)(neng)蔭(yin)庇(bi)眾(zhong)生;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)銳利猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)金剛杵(chu):金剛杵(chu)能(neng)(neng)摧(cui)毀一(yi)切(qie)鎧甲,菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)般(ban)若妙智(zhi)也能(neng)(neng)退;切(qie)煩(fan)惱魔軍;菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)們(men)(men)(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)堅(jian)強猶(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)(ru)鐵圍山:鐵圍山堅(jian)固不(bu)為一(yi)切(qie)所(suo)(suo)摧(cui),菩(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)(pu)薩(sa)(sa)(sa)的(de)(de)(de)堅(jian)強,也不(bu)為眾(zhong)魔外道所(suo)(suo)動搖(yao)。

極樂世界菩薩(sa)(sa)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)心(xin),方(fang)廣平正;順(shun)遂機宜,巧行權(quan)便(bian),講(jiang)論佛經(jing)從(cong)不生(sheng)厭,追求佛法(fa)不知疲倦;持戒凈潔(jie),譬(pi)如(ru)琉璃(li)清徹;心(xin)意(yi)行動,光明(ming)(ming)(ming)磊落(luo),明(ming)(ming)(ming)鑒表里;菩薩(sa)(sa)們(men)所(suo)說之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)法(fa),使大(da)家心(xin)悅誠(cheng)服;法(fa)音震(zhen)響,猶如(ru)擊鼓;威德摧邪,猶如(ru)建(jian)(jian)法(fa)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)幢;智慧照迷,猶如(ru)燦爛太(tai)陽。破除無明(ming)(ming)(ming)造成的癡惑(huo),建(jian)(jian)成無貪無求的淳靜心(xin)境;其禪定智慧溫和,纖毫明(ming)(ming)(ming)察(cha),能(neng)入實(shi)際之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)理體。作為大(da)導師,調伏抑制自己(ji)和他人的不安之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)心(xin)。引導群生(sheng),舍離拋(pao)棄(qi)諸多(duo)愛欲物著(zhu),永遠(yuan)離開貪、瞋、癡三種污垢,運任游戲于神通之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中。

極樂世界的(de)(de)菩薩們(men)因(yin)為過(guo)去所(suo)修之(zhi)善的(de)(de)因(yin)緣力,積累功德生(sheng)(sheng)出牢不(bu)可破(po)的(de)(de)堅固善心,摧毀和(he)(he)(he)降伏(fu)一(yi)(yi)切惡魔(mo)大軍(jun)。尊重待奉諸佛;成(cheng)(cheng)為照(zhao)耀(yao)世界的(de)(de)明(ming)燈;得世間眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)供(gong)養(yang),成(cheng)(cheng)為世間眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)最好的(de)(de)福田。菩薩們(men)具有(you)文殊大士那樣的(de)(de)智德,堪受(shou)一(yi)(yi)切有(you)情供(gong)養(yang)。他們(men)威光顯赫,神采奕奕,面貌和(he)(he)(he)悅,內心歡(huan)喜,雄(xiong)(xiong)健勇猛,無(wu)畏(wei)無(wu)懼(ju),其音容相(xiang)貌非(fei)同一(yi)(yi)般,又有(you)無(wu)量的(de)(de)功德和(he)(he)(he)無(wu)礙(ai)的(de)(de)雄(xiong)(xiong)辯才能莊嚴其身,如此(ci)種種,實在找(zhao)不(bu)到能與(yu)之(zhi)媲美的(de)(de)了。

“西方極(ji)樂世界的(de)菩(pu)薩(sa)們(men)(men)時(shi)時(shi)得到諸佛的(de)共同(tong)稱贊,他們(men)(men)探(tan)究完成諸菩(pu)薩(sa)該修的(de)覺悟,而(er)永遠處于不生不滅的(de)涅盤正定的(de)狀態(tai),在一(yi)切道(dao)場(chang)中(zhong)遍修所有(you)功行,遠遠超(chao)離聲聞、緣覺二(er)乘的(de)境界。阿難!我(wo)現在只是略略提一(yi)下,那極(ji)樂世界中(zhong)菩(pu)薩(sa)們(men)(men)的(de)真實功德,大體上(shang)如我(wo)以上(shang)所說(shuo),但若要廣泛(fan)和詳(xiang)細地介紹,即使說(shuo)上(shang)百千萬個(ge)時(shi)劫也難以說(shuo)完呢!”

壽樂無極第三十二

【原文】佛(fo)告彌(mi)勒菩薩、諸天人等:無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量(liang)壽(shou)國(guo),聲聞(wen)菩薩,功德智(zhi)慧,不(bu)可(ke)稱說。又其國(guo)土微妙安(an)樂(le),清凈若此。何不(bu)力為善,念道之自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)。出(chu)入供(gong)養(yang),觀(guan)經(jing)行道。喜樂(le)久習,才猛(meng)智(zhi)慧。心不(bu)中回,意無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)懈時。外(wai)若遲緩,內獨(du)駛急。容容虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)(kong),適得(de)(de)其中。中表相(xiang)應,自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)嚴整。檢(jian)斂端直,身心潔(jie)凈。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)愛貪,志(zhi)愿(yuan)安(an)定。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)增(zeng)缺減,求(qiu)道和正。不(bu)誤傾邪,隨經(jing)約令(ling)。不(bu)敢蹉跌,若于繩墨。咸為道慕,曠無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)他念。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)憂思,自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)為。虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)(kong)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)立,淡安(an)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)欲。作得(de)(de)善愿(yuan),盡心求(qiu)索(suo)。含(han)哀慈愍,禮義(yi)都合。苞羅表里,過(guo)度解脫。自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)保守(shou),真真潔(jie)白(bai)。志(zhi)愿(yuan)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)上,凈定安(an)樂(le)。一(yi)旦開達明徹(che),自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)中自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)相(xiang),自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)之有(you)(you)根本,自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)光色參(can)回,轉變最(zui)勝(sheng)。郁單成七寶,橫攬成萬物。光精明俱出(chu),善好(hao)殊無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)比。著于無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)上下,洞達無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)邊際。宜各勤(qin)精進,努(nu)力自(zi)(zi)(zi)求(qiu)之。必得(de)(de)超(chao)絕去,往生無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)量(liang)清凈阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)國(guo)。橫截(jie)于五(wu)趣(qu),惡道自(zi)(zi)(zi)閉塞(sai)。無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)極(ji)之勝(sheng)道,易往而無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)人。其國(guo)不(bu)逆違(wei),自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)所牽隨。捐志(zhi)若虛(xu)(xu)空(kong)(kong),勤(qin)行求(qiu)道德。可(ke)得(de)(de)極(ji)長生,壽(shou)樂(le)無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)極(ji)。何為著世事,譊譊憂無(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)常。

【譯文】釋加牟尼佛又轉而對(dui)彌(mi)勒菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)和諸在座的(de)天人等說道:“無量壽佛國(guo)中的(de)聲聞、菩(pu)(pu)薩(sa)功德智慧(hui)無量,是沒有辦(ban)法表述得清(qing)的(de)。還有,其(qi)國(guo)土(tu)如(ru)此微妙,安樂和清(qing)凈,你們為什么不勉力行善(shan),又以所積累的(de)善(shan)功德回向凈土(tu),自(zi)然生發往(wang)生凈土(tu)之念(nian),由念(nian)引(yin)導而往(wang)生極樂世界(jie)呢?

“極樂(le)(le)世界(jie)的(de)(de)菩(pu)薩、聲聞(wen)等會眾(zhong),出入于十方世界(jie)供養諸佛(fo),閱(yue)讀藏經(jing),修行佛(fo)事(shi),皆(jie)樂(le)(le)于長久如(ru)此(ci)。他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)才能超世,智(zhi)慧(hui)圓融,心(xin)(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)退轉的(de)(de)念(nian)頭,意志沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)片刻懈怠放逸;外表看去安(an)閑沉穩(wen),內(nei)心(xin)(xin)卻急(ji)速地精進不已(yi)。心(xin)(xin)同(tong)于虛空,沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)一物(wu)而(er)(er)又(you)能容下(xia)萬(wan)物(wu),沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)邊際而(er)(er)又(you)能建立凈土,非(fei)空非(fei)有(you)(you)(you)(you),適(shi)得(de)(de)不落兩邊的(de)(de)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)道。聲聞(wen)、菩(pu)薩們(men)(men)(men)適(shi)得(de)(de)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)道之(zhi)內(nei)心(xin)(xin),顯(xian)示在(zai)表情(qing)上,表里相(xiang)(xiang)映煥然(ran)(ran)成輝,自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)而(er)(er)又(you)嚴整;檢束身體(ti)的(de)(de)姿態表情(qing),收(shou)斂(lian)心(xin)(xin)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)思維意念(nian);外表端莊,內(nei)心(xin)(xin)正直,身心(xin)(xin)潔凈,沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)愛(ai)欲貪染;他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)志向誓愿(yuan),堅(jian)定(ding)不移(yi)而(er)(er)無(wu)(wu)些(xie)微缺減;他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)所追求的(de)(de)大道,平(ping)和中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)正,永不會誤入狹路(lu)以至邪道;他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)隨順(shun)經(jing)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)言和戒律,自(zi)(zi)(zi)覺(jue)接受約(yue)束規定(ding),不敢放逸而(er)(er)失足逾界(jie),有(you)(you)(you)(you)如(ru)木工操(cao)作遵循(xun)墨(mo)線,循(xun)規蹈(dao)矩;他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)心(xin)(xin)所企慕,皆(jie)是(shi)正真至道,沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)其他(ta)(ta)(ta)妄(wang)念(nian)雜念(nian)拂亂,沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)什么憂慮(lv)之(zhi)思干擾(rao);他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)安(an)住于無(wu)(wu)為法中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),心(xin)(xin)志有(you)(you)(you)(you)如(ru)虛空無(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)一物(wu),淡泊安(an)寧不染物(wu)欲;以此(ci)結(jie)成大愿(yuan),盡(jin)心(xin)(xin)盡(jin)力地前去求索。再者(zhe),這(zhe)些(xie)極樂(le)(le)世界(jie)的(de)(de)會眾(zhong)心(xin)(xin)懷慈悲(bei)哀憫(min),契合(he)世間道德,融洽現象(xiang)本(ben)質,自(zi)(zi)(zi)度度他(ta)(ta)(ta),均(jun)得(de)(de)解脫生(sheng)死。他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)任(ren)運自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran),保(bao)守本(ben)來善(shan)性潔白無(wu)(wu)染,志向愿(yuan)心(xin)(xin)甚為高(gao)尚(shang),住于寂定(ding)而(er)(er)安(an)然(ran)(ran)自(zi)(zi)(zi)適(shi),日(ri)積月(yue)累,便(bian)能在(zai)一旦之(zhi)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)毫(hao)不勉強地契合(he)自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)實相(xiang)(xiang),把握(wo)根(gen)本(ben)的(de)(de)道理。這(zhe)些(xie)聲聞(wen)、菩(pu)薩之(zhi)心(xin)(xin)如(ru)同(tong)神奇珍(zhen)寶(bao)(bao),自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)之(zhi)光(guang)和自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)之(zhi)色相(xiang)(xiang)互滲入、回轉變化,超過十方的(de)(de)眾(zhong)寶(bao)(bao)。北方大洲(zhou)自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)生(sheng)出七寶(bao)(bao),橫空中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)自(zi)(zi)(zi)然(ran)(ran)涌現出萬(wan)物(wu),光(guang)明、精妙、明凈齊顯(xian)并(bing)現,諸善(shan)眾(zhong)好,無(wu)(wu)與倫(lun)比,皆(jie)由極樂(le)(le)世界(jie)會眾(zhong)的(de)(de)凈心(xin)(xin)生(sheng)出。他(ta)(ta)(ta)們(men)(men)(men)的(de)(de)智(zhi)慧(hui)明證理體(ti)無(wu)(wu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)高(gao)下(xia),洞達事(shi)相(xiang)(xiang)沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)邊際。”

釋迦牟尼佛(fo)介紹極樂世(shi)界人眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)的(de)功德智慧,又為(wei)喚醒法會(hui)大(da)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)說(shuo):“你們應各自精進(jin)勤修,努力自求(qiu)真如(ru)本心,必得(de)超(chao)脫輪回,斷除生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死,往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)到無(wu)量清凈的(de)阿(a)彌陀佛(fo)凈土(tu)。到那時,頓舍娑婆(po)世(shi)界五道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)輪回,諸多惡道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)之(zhi)門自然關(guan)閉;這凈土(tu)法門是最勝之(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao),雖(sui)然易(yi)得(de)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),可穢土(tu)修行(xing)的(de)人卻很少。十(shi)方無(wu)窮極的(de)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)得(de)益于佛(fo)國毫無(wu)逆違往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)的(de)性(xing)質(zhi)(另一(yi)解釋:西方凈土(tu)敞開大(da)門,攝受接(jie)納十(shi)方一(yi)切(qie)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),然而,娑婆(po)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)久在煩惱(nao)纏縛之(zhi)中,貪戀世(shi)樂,不生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)厭離(li),陷于自身結(jie)構(gou)性(xing)的(de)困境,焉得(de)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)?)。大(da)家捐除煩惱(nao),其志(zhi)應如(ru)虛空,凈無(wu)垢染(ran),勤奮(fen)修行(xing),進(jin)道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)增德,便可以在凈土(tu)獲得(de)長生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)不老,和(he)極樂世(shi)界人眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)一(yi)樣長壽安樂,生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)命無(wu)有極限。既如(ru)此,為(wei)什么還要貪著世(shi)間(jian)俗事(shi)俗利,沒(mei)(mei)完沒(mei)(mei)了地憂(you)慮,為(wei)世(shi)間(jian)無(wu)常(chang)所折磨呢?”

勸諭策進第三十三

【原文】世(shi)人共(gong)爭不急之(zhi)務,于(yu)此(ci)劇惡極苦之(zhi)中(zhong),勤身營(ying)務,以自給濟。尊(zun)卑、貧(pin)富、少長、男女,累念積慮(lv),為心走使。無(wu)田憂(you)(you)田,無(wu)宅(zhai)(zhai)憂(you)(you)宅(zhai)(zhai),眷屬財(cai)物,有(you)無(wu)同憂(you)(you)。有(you)一少一,思(si)欲齊等,適小(xiao)具有(you),又憂(you)(you)非常。水火盜(dao)賊,怨(yuan)家債主,焚漂(piao)劫(jie)奪,消散(san)磨滅。心慳意固,無(wu)能縱舍(she)。

命(ming)終棄捐(juan),莫誰隨者。貧富(fu)同然,憂(you)苦(ku)萬端(duan)。

世間(jian)人民,父子兄(xiong)弟夫婦親屬,當相(xiang)敬(jing)愛,無相(xiang)憎嫉。有無相(xiang)通,無得(de)貪惜。言色常和(he),莫相(xiang)違戾。或(huo)時(shi)心諍,有所恚怒(nu)。后世轉劇,至成大(da)怨。世間(jian)之事(shi),更相(xiang)患害(hai),雖(sui)不臨時(shi),應(ying)急想破。

人在愛欲之中,獨(du)生獨(du)死(si),獨(du)去獨(du)來,苦樂自當,無(wu)(wu)有代者。善惡變(bian)化,追逐所生,道(dao)路(lu)不(bu)同,會(hui)見無(wu)(wu)期。何不(bu)于強健(jian)時,努力修善,欲何待(dai)乎?

世人(ren)善(shan)惡自(zi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)見(jian),吉兇禍福,競各作之。身愚神暗,轉受余教。顛倒相續,無常根本(ben)。蒙冥抵突,不(bu)(bu)(bu)信經法(fa)。心無遠慮,各欲(yu)快意(yi)。迷于瞋(chen)恚,貪于財色。終不(bu)(bu)(bu)休止(zhi),哀哉可傷!先人(ren)不(bu)(bu)(bu)善(shan),不(bu)(bu)(bu)識道德(de),無有語者,殊無怪也。

死生之(zhi)趣,善惡(e)之(zhi)道(dao)(dao),都(dou)不之(zhi)信,謂(wei)無有是(shi)。更相(xiang)瞻視,且自見(jian)之(zhi)。或(huo)父哭子,或(huo)子哭父,兄弟夫婦,更相(xiang)哭泣。一(yi)死一(yi)生,迭相(xiang)顧(gu)戀。憂愛結縛(fu),無有解時。思想恩(en)好,不離(li)情(qing)欲。不能深(shen)思熟計,專精行道(dao)(dao)。年(nian)壽(shou)旋盡,無可(ke)奈何。

惑道(dao)者眾,悟道(dao)者少(shao)。各(ge)懷殺毒,惡(e)氣(qi)冥冥。為妄興事,違逆天地。恣意罪極,頓奪其壽。下(xia)入惡(e)道(dao),無(wu)有(you)出期。

若曹當(dang)(dang)熟思計,遠(yuan)離(li)眾(zhong)惡。擇其善者,勤(qin)而行之。愛欲榮華,不(bu)可常(chang)保,皆當(dang)(dang)別離(li),無可樂者。當(dang)(dang)勤(qin)精進(jin),生安樂國。智慧明(ming)達,功(gong)德殊勝。勿得隨心所欲,虧負經戒(jie),在人后也。

【譯文】“世間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)們(men)都(dou)在計較那瑣細無益的(de)(de)(de)(de)世利俗(su)務,在此苦(ku)痛不堪(kan)的(de)(de)(de)(de)五惡世間(jian),辛勤勞(lao)作(zuo),經營(ying)生(sheng)計,以求自給,于苦(ku)中(zhong)求快樂(le);世間(jian)蕓蕓眾(zhong)生(sheng)中(zhong),無論大人(ren)物或小人(ren)物,富人(ren)或窮人(ren),少(shao)(shao)年或老人(ren),男(nan)人(ren)或女(nv)人(ren),種種一切之人(ren),都(dou)因為貪(tan)欲(yu)之念長(chang)期累積,處(chu)心(xin)(xin)(xin)積慮只求一快,其實貪(tan)欲(yu)之心(xin)(xin)(xin)不過導致奔(ben)波勞(lao)碌。沒(mei)(mei)(mei)有(you)田(tian)地的(de)(de)(de)(de)想要得(de)田(tian)地,沒(mei)(mei)(mei)有(you)房(fang)屋(wu)(wu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)想要得(de)房(fang)屋(wu)(wu),沒(mei)(mei)(mei)有(you)家眷(juan)、親(qin)屬、妻(qi)室(shi)兒女(nv)以及沒(mei)(mei)(mei)有(you)財物、產(chan)業(ye)、珍寶、器(qi)物的(de)(de)(de)(de),也(ye)都(dou)處(chu)心(xin)(xin)(xin)積慮,盤算鉆營(ying),必欲(yu)據有(you)而后心(xin)(xin)(xin)安。沒(mei)(mei)(mei)有(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)有(you)所憂苦(ku),已(yi)有(you)的(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)也(ye)不得(de)安逸。有(you)一些財物反(fan)而欲(yu)海難填(tian),希望再多得(de)一星半(ban)點。有(you)了(le)一件的(de)(de)(de)(de)覺(jue)(jue)得(de)一件太(tai)少(shao)(shao),有(you)了(le)兩(liang)件的(de)(de)(de)(de)又覺(jue)(jue)得(de)兩(liang)件還少(shao)(shao),欲(yu)望和獲取(qu),總是(shi)相逐(zhu)相長(chang),沒(mei)(mei)(mei)有(you)止境(jing)。才達到小有(you)資產(chan),旋即擔心(xin)(xin)(xin)遭遇損失;害(hai)怕火災(zai)(zai)焚燒,害(hai)怕水災(zai)(zai)流(liu)漂,害(hai)怕盜賊偷竊,害(hai)怕土匪劫奪,害(hai)怕冤家仇殺(sha),害(hai)怕債(zhai)主催逼。憂懼之中(zhong),清凈(jing)本心(xin)(xin)(xin)在此消散磨滅(mie)。慳吝之心(xin)(xin)(xin),反(fan)倒越來越頑固,煩惱纏縛(fu),在泥坑中(zhong)越陷越深。

“世間(jian)一切人(ren)命終之時(shi),不管你(ni)(ni)(ni)有(you)多少眷(juan)屬(shu),積(ji)存了多少財寶,全部要舍(she)離拋棄(qi)。你(ni)(ni)(ni)所鐘(zhong)愛(ai)的物也(ye)罷(ba),人(ren)也(ye)罷(ba),都不會(hui)隨(sui)你(ni)(ni)(ni)去那另一世間(jian);即或去到另一世間(jian)也(ye)不能同你(ni)(ni)(ni)在一起。富人(ren)和窮人(ren),在此陰間(jian)地下也(ye)都平等無(wu)差(cha),個中憂(you)苦,萬端(duan)無(wu)盡。

“世間的(de)人民——父子、兄(xiong)弟(di)、夫婦、親屬(shu),應當相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)互尊敬友(you)愛,不要(yao)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)互憎恨與嫉妒(du);應當互相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)幫(bang)助救護,有(you)什么(me)財(cai)物要(yao)互相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)周(zhou)濟,不要(yao)貪(tan)圖吝惜(xi);應當說話和(he)(he)氣,和(he)(he)顏悅(yue)色(se),互尊互敬,不要(yao)背逆斗狠;一時生(sheng)(sheng)起爭訟之心,心里(li)不免嗔恚忿怒,惡意(yi)愈演愈烈(lie),最終結成(cheng)大(da)恨深(shen)仇;世間若(ruo)冤冤相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)報,更會結成(cheng)丈冤大(da)孽,兩家相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)爭,雙(shuang)方(fang)都招(zhao)禍害(hai);即令有(you)時報應沒有(you)立(li)即顯現,還以(yi)為(wei)自己占了(le)上風,但因果(guo)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)生(sheng)(sheng),從來不爽,惡報只是(shi)時間問(wen)題(ti)。眾生(sheng)(sheng)應當想透這個道理而立(li)即破除(chu)恚恨,棄(qi)惡向善。

“人(ren)沉溺(ni)在(zai)情愛貪(tan)欲之中,獨身而(er)來(lai),孤獨而(er)死,生無人(ren)相(xiang)隨,死無人(ren)陪伴,苦樂之果報,都是(shi)自(zi)作(zuo)自(zi)受,沒有誰能(neng)代替,也(ye)無人(ren)可(ke)以除(chu)免。善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)與(yu)惡(e)(e)的循(xun)環果報千(qian)變萬化,追(zhui)從相(xiang)隨,直到(dao)來(lai)生來(lai)世(shi)。雖是(shi)親眷家屬,善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)有善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)報,惡(e)(e)有惡(e)(e)報,善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)生善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)趣,惡(e)(e)降惡(e)(e)道,若積業有差(cha),生處也(ye)就(jiu)不同(tong),到(dao)那時(shi)便無從會見(jian),何不趁此強健在(zai)世(shi)之時(shi),努力修行善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)道,還(huan)將(jiang)等到(dao)什么時(shi)候?

“世(shi)(shi)間之(zhi)人因為不(bu)能夠認識什(shen)么(me)是(shi)(shi)善(shan),什(shen)么(me)是(shi)(shi)惡(e)(e)(e),各以自(zi)己的愚癡(chi)(chi),妄加分別猜測(ce)吉兇禍福,競相(xiang)造作惡(e)(e)(e)業,身作愚行(xing),頭(tou)腦(nao)中(zhong)一(yi)片黑暗,不(bu)信(xin)受(shou)(shou)經(jing)法,反(fan)而接受(shou)(shou)其他(ta)的外道(dao)邪說。如是(shi)(shi)的顛倒之(zhi)見,相(xiang)續不(bu)絕,成為生死無常輪回的根本動力,這就像蒙上眼睛什(shen)么(me)也看不(bu)見,卻一(yi)味胡沖(chong)亂(luan)闖。不(bu)信(xin)受(shou)(shou)佛(fo)教經(jing)法,心便沒有遠(yuan)慮,一(yi)心追(zhui)求于現世(shi)(shi)之(zhi)樂;癡(chi)(chi)迷于瞋恚忿怒而不(bu)自(zi)覺,貪(tan)吝(lin)財物女(nv)色而以為欣然。肆無忌憚,沒有終(zhong)了之(zhi)時,真正悲(bei)哀,實在可憐!上輩愚癡(chi)(chi),不(bu)知佛(fo)道(dao),不(bu)懂道(dao)德,不(bu)對(dui)后輩進行(xing)教導,世(shi)(shi)代惡(e)(e)(e)業相(xiang)襲,癡(chi)(chi)頑無知,世(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi)作惡(e)(e)(e)受(shou)(shou)報,就沒有什(shen)么(me)可奇怪的了。

“世間之人(ren)(ren)(ren),對生(sheng)(sheng)死輪回于六道,前(qian)生(sheng)(sheng)積(ji)善(shan),下(xia)世得善(shan),前(qian)生(sheng)(sheng)積(ji)惡,下(xia)世得惡的(de)規律,不(bu)(bu)能相(xiang)信奉(feng)受,以為并沒有因果報(bao)應(ying)。更有甚者,看到別(bie)人(ren)(ren)(ren)死了袖手旁觀,無動于衷,殊不(bu)(bu)知生(sheng)(sheng)死之事遲早必然要落到自(zi)己頭上。父子、兄弟、夫婦(fu)等(deng)親屬死別(bie)之時,相(xiang)互哭(ku)泣。相(xiang)愛(ai)的(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren)生(sheng)(sheng)離死別(bie),一(yi)次次地戀顧(gu)難分,恩(en)(en)愛(ai)轉(zhuan)化為憂苦,如(ru)結繩(sheng)自(zi)相(xiang)束縛,哪里還有解脫的(de)時候?思想生(sheng)(sheng)前(qian)的(de)恩(en)(en)恩(en)(en)愛(ai)愛(ai),考(kao)慮親善(shan)友誼,無不(bu)(bu)是情(qing)欲所支(zhi)配。不(bu)(bu)能深思熟慮而專心精(jing)勤地修(xiu)行(xing)佛道,人(ren)(ren)(ren)生(sheng)(sheng)苦短,年壽一(yi)期,轉(zhuan)瞬即盡(jin),衰老來(lai)臨,則一(yi)籌莫展(zhan),徒感無可奈何(he)!

“世間對(dui)佛(fo)法不理解(jie)而迷惑的人多,醒悟得道的人少,各(ge)人心懷(huai)殘傷他人的心念,惡氣冥(ming)冥(ming)昏(hun)暗,如是造惡之人由妄心興起各(ge)種事端,違背天命,不顧人意(yi),恣意(yi)作惡,惡貫滿(man)盈,頓時之間便(bian)會奪去陽壽,下墮于地獄、餓鬼、畜生(sheng)惡道,永無出頭之期。

“你們應當(dang)深思熟慮,遠(yuan)遠(yuan)脫離各(ge)種惡業(ye),選擇善事,勤苦(ku)地修行之。富(fu)貴榮華不可(ke)能長久(jiu)保持,到時(shi)候都將離你而去。富(fu)貴榮華其實(shi)也都是‘苦(ku)’,沒有什么可(ke)稱為‘樂’的(de)。你們應當(dang)勤奮精進,求生西(xi)方(fang)極樂世界。得生西(xi)方(fang)極樂世界,則智慧(hui)明了通(tong)達(da),功德最大。千萬不要隨心所欲,虧負于經教戒行,落在他人之后。”

【原文】彌(mi)(mi)勒(le)白言:佛(fo)(fo)語教戒,甚深甚善(shan)。皆蒙慈恩,解脫(tuo)憂苦(ku)(ku)。佛(fo)(fo)為法(fa)王,尊(zun)超群圣,光明(ming)徹照(zhao),洞達無(wu)極,普為一切天人之(zhi)師。今(jin)得(de)值佛(fo)(fo),復聞無(wu)量壽聲,靡不(bu)(bu)歡喜,心得(de)開明(ming)。佛(fo)(fo)告彌(mi)(mi)勒(le):敬于佛(fo)(fo)者(zhe)(zhe),是為大善(shan)。實當念(nian)佛(fo)(fo),截斷狐疑。拔諸愛(ai)欲,杜眾惡源(yuan)。游(you)步三界(jie),無(wu)所罣礙。開示正道(dao),度未度者(zhe)(zhe)。若曹當知十方人民,永(yong)(yong)劫以來,輾(zhan)轉五道(dao),憂苦(ku)(ku)不(bu)(bu)絕。生(sheng)(sheng)時苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong),老亦苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong),病極苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong),死極苦(ku)(ku)痛(tong)。惡臭不(bu)(bu)凈,無(wu)可樂者(zhe)(zhe)。宜自(zi)(zi)決(jue)斷,洗除心垢。言行忠信,表(biao)里相應。人能自(zi)(zi)度,轉相拯濟。至(zhi)心求愿(yuan),積累善(shan)本。雖一世(shi)精進勤苦(ku)(ku),須臾間耳(er)。后生(sheng)(sheng)無(wu)量壽國,快(kuai)樂無(wu)極。永(yong)(yong)拔生(sheng)(sheng)死之(zhi)本,無(wu)復苦(ku)(ku)惱(nao)之(zhi)患。壽千萬劫,自(zi)(zi)在隨意。宜各(ge)精進,求心所愿(yuan)。無(wu)得(de)疑悔,自(zi)(zi)為過咎,生(sheng)(sheng)彼邊地(di)七寶城中,于五百(bai)歲受諸厄也(ye)。彌(mi)(mi)勒(le)白言:受佛(fo)(fo)明(ming)誨,專(zhuan)精修學。如教奉(feng)行,不(bu)(bu)敢(gan)有疑。

【譯文】彌勒菩(pu)薩(sa)于是(shi)說(shuo):“佛(fo)(fo)說(shuo)了教人(ren)修善的法(fa)(fa)義,非常深(shen)刻非常善妙。我等(deng)會眾(zhong)都蒙佛(fo)(fo)慈悲之恩,得(de)聞(wen)(wen)要津,以(yi)解脫于生(sheng)死憂苦。佛(fo)(fo)為(wei)法(fa)(fa)王,超過諸天圣人(ren)而為(wei)至尊,佛(fo)(fo)所說(shuo)之法(fa)(fa)如(ru)同(tong)光明(ming),澈(che)照(zhao)十方,洞達無(wu)窮。佛(fo)(fo)是(shi)所有有緣(yuan)眾(zhong)生(sheng)的導(dao)師。現在(zai)得(de)以(yi)在(zai)這里見到(dao)佛(fo)(fo)并聽聞(wen)(wen)說(shuo)法(fa)(fa),實在(zai)難(nan)(nan)得(de),更難(nan)(nan)得(de)的是(shi)聽聞(wen)(wen)到(dao)有關無(wu)量壽佛(fo)(fo)的聲音,大(da)家沒(mei)有一個不歡欣鼓舞的,我們的心因此得(de)以(yi)澈(che)悟(wu)而明(ming)了真諦(di)。”

釋迦牟(mou)尼佛(fo)(fo)告誨(hui)彌勒:“恭敬于佛(fo)(fo)的(de)人,他(ta)是有大善之(zhi)(zhi)人,應(ying)當實(shi)實(shi)際際地念佛(fo)(fo),截斷(duan)狐疑猜(cai)忌,拔除各(ge)種(zhong)(zhong)愛欲(yu),杜絕各(ge)種(zhong)(zhong)惡(e)意惡(e)念的(de)源(yuan)頭(tou),雖然奔(ben)走于三(san)界世(shi)間穢(hui)土,卻(que)無(wu)所(suo)牽掛,無(wu)所(suo)障礙,向(xiang)眾生開示講(jiang)演佛(fo)(fo)法正道(dao),度(du)化還未得度(du)化的(de)有情(qing)眾生。你們應(ying)當知道(dao),十方世(shi)界的(de)人民,從無(wu)比久遠(yuan)以來,反復(fu)輾轉(zhuan)、輪回于天(tian)、人、畜(chu)生、餓鬼和地獄(yu)五道(dao),沉(chen)淪生死(si),憂苦(ku)不絕。誕生之(zhi)(zhi)時有‘生苦(ku)’之(zhi)(zhi)痛(tong),壽終之(zhi)(zhi)時有‘死(si)苦(ku)’之(zhi)(zhi)痛(tong),身體(ti)臭惡(e)而(er)不清凈,沒(mei)有什(shen)么可(ke)稱為‘快樂’的(de)。應(ying)自下決心,斷(duan)絕惡(e)因,洗濯(zhuo)心中(zhong)的(de)污(wu)垢,如(ru)言(yan)而(er)行(xing),如(ru)行(xing)而(er)言(yan),表里如(ru)一,誠實(shi)無(wu)欺。

“洗(xi)除了(le)污垢而(er)表里如一的(de)人,能夠自(zi)行(xing)度脫,由(you)自(zi)度轉而(er)拯救濟度他人。一心(xin)(xin)求取往生(sheng)(sheng)西方極樂(le)凈土的(de)大愿,稱名念佛,積(ji)累善本。雖一生(sheng)(sheng)一世精(jing)進(jin)修行(xing)十分勤(qin)苦,但這一生(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)苦,較之(zhi)(zhi)一個人的(de)生(sheng)(sheng)生(sheng)(sheng)世世,只猶如片刻之(zhi)(zhi)間。此生(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)勤(qin)苦,使后世得以(yi)往生(sheng)(sheng)無(wu)量壽國(guo),享(xiang)受無(wu)窮(qiong)無(wu)盡的(de)快樂(le),拔除生(sheng)(sheng)死(si)根本惡(e)因,遠(yuan)離苦病(bing)煩惱之(zhi)(zhi)患(huan),壽命長達(da)千萬時劫,自(zi)在神通而(er)諸事隨心(xin)(xin)所欲。”

釋迦(jia)牟尼佛(fo)復喻眾(zhong)生:“你們應各自精進(jin)專修,把往生凈(jing)土的愿望切(qie)實地(di)變為行(xing)動。不(bu)(bu)要(yao)疑(yi)惑,不(bu)(bu)要(yao)中途反悔,以免錯過時機,造成錯誤罪行(xing),以至往生時到了西方極樂凈(jing)土的邊地(di)之國,在懷疑(yi)佛(fo)智的眾(zhong)生聚集的七寶獄中,于五(wu)百年的時間內,不(bu)(bu)得見佛(fo)、法(fa)、僧三寶,不(bu)(bu)得聞諸(zhu)經佛(fo)法(fa),受(shou)諸(zhu)不(bu)(bu)幸處罰。”

彌勒菩(pu)薩(sa)領(ling)受佛(fo)(fo)(fo)旨(zhi),乃向(xiang)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)言(yan):“今天我們承受了佛(fo)(fo)(fo)明(ming)白完備的(de)教誨(hui),我等當專一修(xiu)行,精(jing)進學習,按(an)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)教導(dao)誠心(xin)奉行,不敢(gan)生出半點疑惑(huo)。”

濁世惡苦第三十五(wu)

【原文】佛告彌勒(le):汝等(deng)能于(yu)此世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),端心(xin)(xin)正(zheng)意(yi),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),甚為(wei)大(da)德(de)(de)。所(suo)(suo)以(yi)者(zhe)何(he)?十方世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)界,善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)多(duo)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)少,易可(ke)(ke)(ke)開化(hua)(hua)。唯此五(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian),最為(wei)劇苦(ku)。我(wo)今(jin)于(yu)此作(zuo)(zuo)佛,教(jiao)化(hua)(hua)群生,令舍(she)五(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),去五(wu)(wu)痛,離(li)五(wu)(wu)燒(shao),降(jiang)化(hua)(hua)其(qi)意(yi),令持五(wu)(wu)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),獲其(qi)福德(de)(de)。何(he)等(deng)為(wei)五(wu)(wu)?其(qi)一(yi)者(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)諸眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)生類,欲(yu)為(wei)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)。強者(zhe)伏(fu)弱,轉(zhuan)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)克賊,殘害(hai)殺(sha)傷,迭相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)吞(tun)啖(dan),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),后(hou)受(shou)殃罰。故(gu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)窮乞、孤獨、聾(long)盲、喑啞、癡(chi)(chi)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)、尪狂,皆(jie)因(yin)前(qian)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)(xin)道(dao)(dao)(dao)德(de)(de),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)為(wei)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。其(qi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)尊(zun)貴、豪富、賢明(ming)、長(chang)者(zhe)、智勇、才達,皆(jie)由宿(su)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)慈(ci)(ci)孝(xiao),修善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)積德(de)(de)所(suo)(suo)致。世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)此目前(qian)現事,壽(shou)終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)之(zhi)(zhi)后(hou),入其(qi)幽(you)冥。轉(zhuan)生受(shou)身(shen)(shen)(shen),改形(xing)易道(dao)(dao)(dao)。故(gu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)泥(ni)犁、禽獸、蜎飛蠕動之(zhi)(zhi)屬。譬如(ru)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)法(fa)牢(lao)獄,劇苦(ku)極(ji)刑,魂神(shen)命(ming)精,隨罪趣向(xiang)。所(suo)(suo)受(shou)壽(shou)命(ming),或長(chang)或短,相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)從(cong)共生,更(geng)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)報償。殃惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)未盡,終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得離(li)。輾(zhan)轉(zhuan)其(qi)中,累(lei)劫難(nan)出(chu)。難(nan)得解(jie)(jie)脫,痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)言。天(tian)地(di)之(zhi)(zhi)間(jian),自(zi)(zi)(zi)然有(you)(you)(you)(you)是。雖不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)即(ji)時(shi)暴應,善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)會當(dang)歸之(zhi)(zhi)。其(qi)二者(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)順法(fa)度(du)。奢淫(yin)驕縱,任心(xin)(xin)自(zi)(zi)(zi)恣。居上不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明(ming),在位不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)正(zheng)。陷人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)冤枉(wang),損(sun)害(hai)忠良。心(xin)(xin)口各異,機偽多(duo)端。尊(zun)卑中外,更(geng)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)欺誑。瞋恚愚(yu)癡(chi)(chi),欲(yu)自(zi)(zi)(zi)厚(hou)己(ji),欲(yu)貪(tan)多(duo)有(you)(you)(you)(you)。利(li)害(hai)勝(sheng)負,結忿成(cheng)仇(chou)。破家亡身(shen)(shen)(shen),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)顧前(qian)后(hou)。富有(you)(you)(you)(you)慳惜,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)施與。愛(ai)保貪(tan)重,心(xin)(xin)勞身(shen)(shen)(shen)苦(ku)。如(ru)是至竟,無(wu)一(yi)隨者(zhe)。善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)禍福,追命(ming)所(suo)(suo)生。或在樂處,或入苦(ku)毒。又或見善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)憎(zeng)謗,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思慕及(ji)。常(chang)懷(huai)盜(dao)心(xin)(xin),悕(xi)望他利(li)。用自(zi)(zi)(zi)供給,消散復(fu)取。神(shen)明(ming)克識,終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)入惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)道(dao)(dao)(dao)。自(zi)(zi)(zi)有(you)(you)(you)(you)三(san)(san)途(tu)無(wu)量(liang)苦(ku)惱(nao),輾(zhan)轉(zhuan)其(qi)中,累(lei)劫難(nan)出(chu),痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)言。其(qi)三(san)(san)者(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)因(yin)寄生,壽(shou)命(ming)幾(ji)何(he)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)良之(zhi)(zhi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),身(shen)(shen)(shen)心(xin)(xin)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)正(zheng)。常(chang)懷(huai)邪惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),常(chang)念(nian)淫(yin)欲(yu)。煩滿胸中,邪態(tai)外逸。費損(sun)家財,事為(wei)非法(fa)。所(suo)(suo)當(dang)求(qiu)者(zhe),而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)為(wei)。又或交結聚(ju)會,興兵相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)伐(fa)。攻劫殺(sha)戮,強奪迫脅(xie)。歸給妻子,極(ji)身(shen)(shen)(shen)作(zuo)(zuo)樂。眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)共憎(zeng)厭,患而苦(ku)之(zhi)(zhi)。如(ru)是之(zhi)(zhi)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),著于(yu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)鬼(gui)。神(shen)明(ming)記識,自(zi)(zi)(zi)入三(san)(san)途(tu)。無(wu)量(liang)苦(ku)惱(nao),輾(zhan)轉(zhuan)其(qi)中。累(lei)劫難(nan)出(chu),痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)言。其(qi)四者(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)念(nian)修善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。兩舌、惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)口、妄言、綺語。憎(zeng)嫉(ji)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),敗壞賢明(ming)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)孝(xiao)父(fu)母,輕慢(man)師長(chang)。朋友無(wu)信(xin)(xin),難(nan)得誠實。尊(zun)貴自(zi)(zi)(zi)大(da),謂己(ji)有(you)(you)(you)(you)道(dao)(dao)(dao)。橫行(xing)威勢,侵(qin)易于(yu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。欲(yu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)畏(wei)敬(jing),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)自(zi)(zi)(zi)慚懼。難(nan)可(ke)(ke)(ke)降(jiang)化(hua)(hua),常(chang)懷(huai)驕慢(man)。賴其(qi)前(qian)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi),福德(de)(de)營護。今(jin)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)為(wei)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),福德(de)(de)盡滅。壽(shou)命(ming)終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)盡,諸惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)繞歸。又其(qi)名籍(ji),記在神(shen)明(ming)。殃咎牽引,無(wu)從(cong)舍(she)離(li)。但(dan)得前(qian)行(xing),入于(yu)火(huo)鑊(huo)。身(shen)(shen)(shen)心(xin)(xin)摧碎(sui),神(shen)形(xing)苦(ku)極(ji)。當(dang)斯之(zhi)(zhi)時(shi),悔(hui)復(fu)何(he)及(ji)。其(qi)五(wu)(wu)者(zhe),世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)間(jian)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民徙倚懈怠。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)作(zuo)(zuo)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),治(zhi)身(shen)(shen)(shen)修業。父(fu)母教(jiao)誨,違戾反逆。譬如(ru)怨家,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)如(ru)無(wu)子。負恩違義(yi),無(wu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)報償。放恣游(you)散,耽酒(jiu)嗜美。魯(lu)扈抵(di)突,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)識人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)情(qing)。無(wu)義(yi)無(wu)禮,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)諫曉。六親眷屬,資用有(you)(you)(you)(you)無(wu),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能憂念(nian)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)惟父(fu)母之(zhi)(zhi)恩,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)存師友之(zhi)(zhi)義(yi)。意(yi)念(nian)身(shen)(shen)(shen)口,曾無(wu)一(yi)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)(xin)諸佛經法(fa),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)(xin)生死(si)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)。欲(yu)害(hai)真人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),斗亂僧眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。愚(yu)癡(chi)(chi)蒙昧(mei),自(zi)(zi)(zi)為(wei)智慧。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)生所(suo)(suo)從(cong)來,死(si)所(suo)(suo)趣向(xiang)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)仁不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)順,希(xi)望長(chang)生。慈(ci)(ci)心(xin)(xin)教(jiao)誨,而不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯(ken)信(xin)(xin)。苦(ku)口與語,無(wu)益其(qi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)。心(xin)(xin)中閉塞,意(yi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)開解(jie)(jie)。大(da)命(ming)將(jiang)終(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),悔(hui)懼交至。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)預修善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),臨時(shi)乃悔(hui)。悔(hui)之(zhi)(zhi)于(yu)后(hou),將(jiang)何(he)及(ji)乎(hu)!天(tian)地(di)之(zhi)(zhi)間(jian),五(wu)(wu)道(dao)(dao)(dao)分明(ming)。善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)報應,禍福相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)承。身(shen)(shen)(shen)自(zi)(zi)(zi)當(dang)之(zhi)(zhi),無(wu)誰(shui)代者(zhe)。善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)行(xing)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),從(cong)樂入樂,從(cong)明(ming)入明(ming)。惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)行(xing)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e),從(cong)苦(ku)入苦(ku),從(cong)冥入冥。誰(shui)能知(zhi)者(zhe),獨佛知(zhi)耳(er)。教(jiao)語開示,信(xin)(xin)行(xing)者(zhe)少。生死(si)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)休,惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)道(dao)(dao)(dao)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕(jue)。如(ru)是世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),難(nan)可(ke)(ke)(ke)具盡。故(gu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)自(zi)(zi)(zi)然三(san)(san)途(tu),無(wu)量(liang)苦(ku)惱(nao),輾(zhan)轉(zhuan)其(qi)中。世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)累(lei)劫,無(wu)有(you)(you)(you)(you)出(chu)期。難(nan)得解(jie)(jie)脫,痛不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)(ke)(ke)言。如(ru)是五(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)、五(wu)(wu)痛、五(wu)(wu)燒(shao),譬如(ru)大(da)火(huo),焚燒(shao)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)身(shen)(shen)(shen)。若能自(zi)(zi)(zi)于(yu)其(qi)中一(yi)心(xin)(xin)制意(yi),端身(shen)(shen)(shen)正(zheng)念(nian),言行(xing)相(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)副(fu),所(suo)(suo)作(zuo)(zuo)至誠,獨作(zuo)(zuo)諸善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)為(wei)眾(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)惡(e)(e)(e)(e)(e)。身(shen)(shen)(shen)獨度(du)脫,獲其(qi)福德(de)(de),可(ke)(ke)(ke)得長(chang)壽(shou)泥(ni)洹之(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)。是為(wei)五(wu)(wu)大(da)善(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)(shan)也。

【譯文】釋迦牟尼佛告訴彌勒說:“你等能于(yu)此(ci)(ci)(ci)濁(zhuo)世(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong)正心(xin)誠(cheng)意,不(bu)為(wei)(wei)種種惡(e)業,堪(kan)可稱為(wei)(wei)‘大(da)德(de)’。為(wei)(wei)什么這樣說呢(ni)?十(shi)方諸(zhu)佛世(shi)界(jie)(jie)(jie)善多惡(e)少,容易(yi)接受開(kai)導教化(hua),唯有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)此(ci)(ci)(ci)五(wu)(wu)惡(e)世(shi)間(jian),‘苦’最大(da)最多。我現今在(zai)此(ci)(ci)(ci)作佛,教化(hua)群生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),欲使他(ta)(ta)們舍掉(diao)‘五(wu)(wu)惡(e)’,去脫‘五(wu)(wu)痛’,離開(kai)‘五(wu)(wu)燒’,降伏化(hua)除他(ta)(ta)們的(de)(de)(de)癡(chi)迷之(zhi)(zhi)心(xin),讓他(ta)(ta)們守持‘五(wu)(wu)善’,使他(ta)(ta)們獲得(de)(de)(de)福德(de)。這‘五(wu)(wu)’是(shi)什么呢(ni)?其(qi)(qi)一者,世(shi)間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)諸(zhu)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)類(lei),想作種種惡(e)事,強者降伏弱者,強者身(shen)(shen)后又有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)更強者降伏他(ta)(ta),輾轉(zhuan)相制,殘(can)害傷殺,大(da)的(de)(de)(de)吞(tun)食小的(de)(de)(de),吞(tun)食者又被更大(da)的(de)(de)(de)所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)吞(tun)。以(yi)暴凌善,以(yi)強欺弱,完全(quan)不(bu)懂(dong)得(de)(de)(de)相互(hu)為(wei)(wei)善。因(yin)(yin)為(wei)(wei)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)如(ru)(ru)此(ci)(ci)(ci)作惡(e)而其(qi)(qi)來生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)受到(dao)(dao)的(de)(de)(de)果(guo)報(bao)和懲罰。所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)以(yi),這世(shi)間(jian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)貧窮(qiong)、有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)乞丐,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)無父母,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)無兒女(nv),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)聾,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)瞎,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)啞,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)癡(chi)呆(dai),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)惡(e)毒,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)殘(can)廢,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)瘋狂,這都是(shi)因(yin)(yin)為(wei)(wei)前世(shi)不(bu)信道(dao),不(bu)積(ji)(ji)德(de),不(bu)為(wei)(wei)善,所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)受的(de)(de)(de)‘殃罰’。世(shi)間(jian)也(ye)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人尊(zun)貴,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人豪富,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人賢明,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人受眾(zhong)尊(zun)敬,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人智勇(yong)雙全(quan),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)人才能精深博大(da)。這都是(shi)由于(yu)前世(shi)慈悲孝(xiao)順(shun)等等修善積(ji)(ji)德(de)所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)得(de)(de)(de)的(de)(de)(de)善報(bao)。現實世(shi)間(jian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)此(ci)(ci)(ci)可見(jian)的(de)(de)(de)果(guo)報(bao)之(zhi)(zhi)事,更有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)壽終(zhong)之(zhi)(zhi)后下到(dao)(dao)冥界(jie)(jie)(jie)后不(bu)可見(jian)的(de)(de)(de)果(guo)報(bao)之(zhi)(zhi)事,在(zai)冥界(jie)(jie)(jie)轉(zhuan)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)投胎又受色身(shen)(shen),改變(bian)了原來的(de)(de)(de)形象(xiang),變(bian)豬變(bian)狗,在(zai)五(wu)(wu)道(dao)中(zhong)淪陷于(yu)更低(di)的(de)(de)(de)位置。因(yin)(yin)此(ci)(ci)(ci),便(bian)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)地獄(yu)、禽(qin)獸、飛蠅、爬蟲(chong)之(zhi)(zhi)類(lei)。這就(jiu)猶如(ru)(ru)以(yi)世(shi)間(jian)法律治(zhi)罪(zui)犯,有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)關在(zai)牢獄(yu)之(zhi)(zhi)中(zhong),有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)的(de)(de)(de)受到(dao)(dao)極刑痛苦。精靈魂(hun)魄與其(qi)(qi)人前生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)罪(zui)報(bao)相隨相從,不(bu)管所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)得(de)(de)(de)到(dao)(dao)的(de)(de)(de)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)命或長或短(duan),冤家債(zhai)主相追(zhui)隨共生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)一處(chu),一定要將前世(shi)怨仇一一清(qing)算,以(yi)期(qi)報(bao)償。所(suo)(suo)(suo)(suo)犯罪(zui)行(xing)若沒(mei)有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)結清(qing),便(bian)不(bu)能夠分開(kai),如(ru)(ru)此(ci)(ci)(ci)輾轉(zhuan)往復于(yu)其(qi)(qi)惡(e)道(dao)中(zhong),很(hen)多時(shi)(shi)(shi)劫也(ye)難(nan)得(de)(de)(de)出離,絕(jue)少有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)機會獲得(de)(de)(de)解(jie)脫,其(qi)(qi)痛苦難(nan)以(yi)言說。天地之(zhi)(zhi)間(jian),因(yin)(yin)果(guo)相因(yin)(yin),報(bao)應不(bu)爽,必應有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)如(ru)(ru)此(ci)(ci)(ci)狀(zhuang)。有(you)(you)(you)(you)(you)時(shi)(shi)(shi)雖不(bu)即時(shi)(shi)(shi)報(bao)應,但善因(yin)(yin)善果(guo),惡(e)因(yin)(yin)惡(e)果(guo),時(shi)(shi)(shi)候(hou)一至,無不(bu)兌(dui)現。

“其二者(zhe)(zhe),世間人(ren)(ren)(ren)民不(bu)(bu)(bu)依法規(gui)軌(gui)則,奢侈淫樂,驕橫放縱,放情縱欲。居上位(wei)(wei)的(de)(de)(de)官員貪(tan)贓枉法,誤國殃民,在位(wei)(wei)而不(bu)(bu)(bu)能正已之身,誣陷(xian)使人(ren)(ren)(ren)冤枉,更陷(xian)害忠良,阿諛誹謗(bang),心(xin)口(kou)不(bu)(bu)(bu)一(yi),投機取巧,詭詐虛偽。還不(bu)(bu)(bu)只是(shi)居上位(wei)(wei)的(de)(de)(de)官員如此,這(zhe)世間無論尊貴的(de)(de)(de)王公貴族,卑(bei)殘的(de)(de)(de)奴仆馬弁,族中的(de)(de)(de)親(qin)眷家屬,外界(jie)的(de)(de)(de)平(ping)民百姓,都是(shi)互(hu)相欺誑,瞋恚(hui)愚癡。人(ren)(ren)(ren)們都想自己占便宜,損他人(ren)(ren)(ren)而利己。為(wei)了(le)貪(tan)婪攫(jue)取,占有(you)(you)更多的(de)(de)(de)利益,不(bu)(bu)(bu)惜以利相侵(qin),互(hu)相算計謀(mou)害,由此結(jie)下忿惱,由結(jie)忿惱又(you)升格為(wei)仇恨,甚至家破人(ren)(ren)(ren)亡,不(bu)(bu)(bu)顧前因后果的(de)(de)(de)報應法則。富有(you)(you)者(zhe)(zhe),慳(qian)吝貪(tan)惜,不(bu)(bu)(bu)肯施舍與(yu)人(ren)(ren)(ren)。愛欲頑固,貪(tan)心(xin)深重,終生(sheng)身心(xin)勞苦,就這(zhe)樣(yang)一(yi)直到死。到了(le)死時(shi),財(cai)物(wu)又(you)帶不(bu)(bu)(bu)走(zou),沒有(you)(you)一(yi)樣(yang)能拿(na)到陰間。善惡(e)禍福平(ping)生(sheng)之業,卻追隨(sui)其人(ren)(ren)(ren)靈魂(hun)而到往生(sheng)處(chu),或(huo)者(zhe)(zhe)三(san)善道(dao)(dao),或(huo)者(zhe)(zhe)三(san)惡(e)道(dao)(dao),總之,決不(bu)(bu)(bu)會放棄此人(ren)(ren)(ren)。

“再有(you),或有(you)見人(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)善,不是(shi)想(xiang)著(zhu)如(ru)何去學(xue)習他,敬(jing)慕他,而是(shi)憎惡誹謗他,胸中常懷侵奪之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)心(xin),希(xi)望損人(ren)(ren)利己,將(jiang)他人(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)財物(wu)供自(zi)己取用,揮霍完了,又重去盜取。當(dang)然(ran)逃不出神明的(de)眼界,終(zhong)將(jiang)其人(ren)(ren)打(da)入惡道(dao),自(zi)然(ran)有(you)三途惡道(dao)的(de)無量苦(ku)惱等著(zhu)他,其人(ren)(ren)輾轉于三惡道(dao)中,曠(kuang)劫(jie)長時也難以(yi)得出,其痛苦(ku)不堪言說。

“其三者(zhe),世(shi)間(jian)人(ren)眾,由于相(xiang)互之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)間(jian)的業因(yin)導果而出生于世(shi),壽命能(neng)有(you)多長?不(bu)良之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)人(ren),身心(xin)不(bu)正,常懷邪(xie)惡(e)(e)狠毒之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)心(xin),常沉溺于淫欲放(fang)蕩,煩(fan)懣填(tian)塞胸中,淫邪(xie)放(fang)蕩流(liu)露于外表(biao),所作(zuo)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)事(shi)不(bu)但耗費損失家中產業,更因(yin)這(zhe)(zhe)些(xie)事(shi)情不(bu)合法(fa)度甚而至于違犯法(fa)律招來惡(e)(e)報。應當為之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)追求、為之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)奮斗的,他們不(bu)愿(yuan)去(qu)追求去(qu)奮斗。又有(you)的人(ren)拉幫結伙(huo),興起爭戰,互相(xiang)攻伐,侵掠殺戮,武力脅迫,公然(ran)搶奪。將以(yi)此種種獸行搶奪來的財(cai)物拿去(qu)取悅于妻妾強人(ren),縱情于聲色,不(bu)知疲倦地尋歡作(zuo)樂(le)。世(shi)間(jian)人(ren)眾對此憎(zeng)惡(e)(e)討厭,為此使(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)遭(zao)受災禍和無邊(bian)(bian)痛苦。這(zhe)(zhe)些(xie)作(zuo)惡(e)(e)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)人(ren),雖現人(ren)形,卻顯鬼魅的惡(e)(e)毒。那明察人(ren)世(shi)的神明白會給他們記(ji)上這(zhe)(zhe)筆帳,以(yi)他們自己此生作(zuo)惡(e)(e)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)因(yin),將其在來世(shi)轉(zhuan)(zhuan)生之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)時變為餓鬼畜生,墮(duo)入三惡(e)(e)道,受到那無邊(bian)(bian)無量無窮無盡的苦痛折磨,其人(ren)輾轉(zhuan)(zhuan)于三惡(e)(e)道之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)中,很(hen)多時劫(jie)也不(bu)能(neng)出來,其痛苦難以(yi)言(yan)說。

“其(qi)四(si)者,世(shi)間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)民不(bu)掛念(nian)著(zhu)修善的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)事,卻(que)撥弄(nong)是(shi)非,言(yan)辭粗(cu)鄙,假話大(da)(da)話,阿諛逢(feng)迎,憎(zeng)恨嫉妒善人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)才德(de),敗壞賢(xian)明(ming)之(zhi)(zhi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)名聲;不(bu)孝敬順遂父(fu)母,不(bu)尊重(zhong)而(er)慢待老師(shi),朋友間(jian)不(bu)守信譽,難(nan)得(de)以誠相待;驕傲自(zi)大(da)(da),炫耀(yao)自(zi)己有(you)(you)道行,橫行霸道,仗勢欺人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),想讓(rang)大(da)(da)眾對己產生敬畏;不(bu)知羞慚,不(bu)自(zi)戒慎,不(bu)聽勸慰,不(bu)服教化,其(qi)心(xin)常懷(huai)自(zi)大(da)(da)傲慢,僅依靠其(qi)前(qian)(qian)生前(qian)(qian)世(shi)所(suo)(suo)積累的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)那點(dian)福德(de)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)佑護,才未馬上受難(nan);于今(jin)生今(jin)世(shi)作惡多端,前(qian)(qian)世(shi)辛勤(qin)修得(de)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)福德(de)終歸(gui)消耗殆(dai)盡。其(qi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)終了(le)(le)之(zhi)(zhi)時,他(ta)所(suo)(suo)作的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)各種(zhong)惡業(ye)擁著(zhu)他(ta)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)魂魄去到(dao)冥世(shi),他(ta)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡名和(he)所(suo)(suo)作的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)惡業(ye),都登(deng)記在神明(ming)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)檔案里,其(qi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)被自(zi)身(shen)生前(qian)(qian)所(suo)(suo)作之(zhi)(zhi)災惡罪(zui)過(guo)所(suo)(suo)牽引,沒(mei)有(you)(you)辦(ban)法得(de)以脫身(shen),只好跟(gen)著(zhu)前(qian)(qian)去,進入到(dao)獄(yu)火湯鑊之(zhi)(zhi)中,身(shen)心(xin)被摧(cui)毀破碎(sui),精神肉(rou)體痛苦不(bu)堪。到(dao)了(le)(le)這個(ge)時候,后悔(hui)也來不(bu)及了(le)(le)。

“其五者,世間的(de)(de)人(ren)民(min)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思努力,留連于(yu)松懈(xie)懶惰,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯作善(shan)舉好(hao)事,也(ye)(ye)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯修身養(yang)性,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)敬業樂群。父(fu)母(mu)教(jiao)誨兒(er)女,兒(er)女違(wei)背忤(wu)逆,就好(hao)像是冤(yuan)家對(dui)(dui)頭。有(you)(you)這樣的(de)(de)兒(er)女還不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)如沒(mei)有(you)(you)。如此兒(er)女,辜負父(fu)母(mu)養(yang)育之恩,違(wei)背孝敬長輩的(de)(de)世間禮(li)儀,對(dui)(dui)父(fu)母(mu)的(de)(de)恩德全無(wu)(wu)(wu)一點報答之情。有(you)(you)的(de)(de)人(ren)放蕩自(zi)縱,游(you)樂散漫(man),好(hao)酒貪(tan)杯,嗜愛美味,無(wu)(wu)(wu)知無(wu)(wu)(wu)識,專(zhuan)橫跋扈,心(xin)(xin)無(wu)(wu)(wu)遠見,冥行妄作,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)懂(dong)得人(ren)情世故,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)懂(dong)得仁義(yi)禮(li)貌.對(dui)(dui)其規勸(quan)告誡也(ye)(ye)沒(mei)有(you)(you)用。有(you)(you)的(de)(de)人(ren)對(dui)(dui)父(fu)母(mu)姊妹(mei);親戚眷屬的(de)(de)生(sheng)活困難(nan)全然(ran)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)顧,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)考(kao)慮父(fu)母(mu)之恩,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)考(kao)慮老(lao)(lao)師(shi)朋友(you)情義(yi),心(xin)(xin)常念惡(e),口常言(yan)惡(e),身常行惡(e),三業之中一無(wu)(wu)(wu)是處(chu),無(wu)(wu)(wu)善(shan)可言(yan)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信仰諸佛的(de)(de)經(jing)言(yan)法教(jiao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)相信生(sheng)死(si)(si)因(yin)果,善(shan)惡(e)有(you)(you)報。欲想(xiang)殺害阿羅漢(han),離間僧(seng)眾(zhong)使之爭斗,蒙昧無(wu)(wu)(wu)知,反而(er)自(zi)以為(wei)聰(cong)明(ming)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知道(dao)生(sheng)從(cong)何(he)處(chu)而(er)來(lai)(lai),死(si)(si)后(hou)(hou)又去(qu)到(dao)何(he)方,待人(ren)接物,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知仁愛和(he)順,癡心(xin)(xin)妄想(xiang)于(yu)長生(sheng)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)老(lao)(lao)。對(dui)(dui)慈悲之心(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)教(jiao)誨不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)肯相信;對(dui)(dui)苦口婆心(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)勸(quan)勉之話;無(wu)(wu)(wu)動于(yu)衷。上(shang)述(shu)人(ren)等(deng)心(xin)(xin)中因(yin)癡愚而(er)黑暗(an)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明(ming),對(dui)(dui)善(shan)意良言(yan)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)開悟理解。生(sheng)命將(jiang)要(yao)終了之時,后(hou)(hou)悔(hui)(hui)恐(kong)懼(ju)交相產(chan)生(sheng)。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)預(yu)先修善(shan),死(si)(si)到(dao)臨(lin)頭方生(sheng)后(hou)(hou)悔(hui)(hui),可為(wei)時已晚,再(zai)后(hou)(hou)悔(hui)(hui)也(ye)(ye)來(lai)(lai)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)及了。

“在天地中(zhong)間,天、人(ren)(ren)、餓鬼(gui)、畜生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)、地獄五道(dao)(dao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死(si)流轉,其(qi)善惡(e)(e)(e)因果報(bao)應不爽是明擺(bai)著的(de)(de)事(shi)。行善作惡(e)(e)(e)各有報(bao)應相隨,禍(huo)受之于惡(e)(e)(e),福受之于善,是禍(huo)是福,均由其(qi)本人(ren)(ren)自己來承(cheng)當,他(ta)人(ren)(ren)無(wu)可替代(dai),善人(ren)(ren)行善事(shi),今(jin)世(shi)(shi)樂施好(hao)善,來生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)得(de)入富(fu)樂人(ren)(ren)家(jia)(jia);今(jin)世(shi)(shi)勤修福慧,來生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)得(de)入賢達(da)人(ren)(ren)家(jia)(jia);惡(e)(e)(e)人(ren)(ren)作惡(e)(e)(e)事(shi),今(jin)世(shi)(shi)使人(ren)(ren)痛苦(ku),來生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)得(de)入窮苦(ku)人(ren)(ren)家(jia)(jia);今(jin)世(shi)(shi)癡(chi)愚,來生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)還(huan)入癡(chi)愚人(ren)(ren)家(jia)(jia)。這其(qi)中(zhong)的(de)(de)道(dao)(dao)理(li)有誰能知?唯獨只有佛能知能曉。佛說(shuo)的(de)(de)教導人(ren)(ren)眾(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)方法,所開示的(de)(de)真實(shi)之相,信受不移而依此(ci)篤行的(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)極少極少。所以(yi)世(shi)(shi)間生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死(si)輪回永不停(ting)止,墮于三惡(e)(e)(e)道(dao)(dao)之路的(de)(de)人(ren)(ren)眾(zhong)(zhong)不能斷絕。像這樣的(de)(de)世(shi)(shi)間凡夫俗子,難以(yi)全部都度(du)脫(tuo)完畢,所以(yi)才有三惡(e)(e)(e)道(dao)(dao)無(wu)量苦(ku)惱,讓這樣的(de)(de)凡夫俗子輾轉于其(qi)中(zhong),生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)世(shi)(shi)世(shi)(shi),曠(kuang)劫而不能得(de)出,解脫(tuo)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)死(si)的(de)(de)希望無(wu)從感受,痛苦(ku)難以(yi)言說(shuo)。

“像這樣的(de)(de)五(wu)(wu)惡(e)、五(wu)(wu)痛、五(wu)(wu)燒,猶如大(da)火焚燒人(ren)身,若有(you)人(ren)能在(zai)火燒之中,專一其(qi)心,制止意業發生(sheng),端正其(qi)行(xing)為思(si)想,言行(xing)一致,誠(cheng)心誠(cheng)意,不管(guan)世間(jian)濁(zhuo)穢如何,獨(du)作(zuo)(zuo)善事,不作(zuo)(zuo)各種惡(e)事,其(qi)人(ren)之身便(bian)獨(du)得度脫,獲得他行(xing)善報應的(de)(de)福(fu)德,可得以(yi)在(zai)無(wu)生(sheng)無(wu)滅的(de)(de)涅盤境(jing)界中長(chang)生(sheng)。這就是(shi)五(wu)(wu)大(da)善。”

重重誨勉(mian)第三十(shi)六

【原文】佛告彌勒:吾(wu)語汝等,如是五惡、五痛、五燒(shao),輾轉(zhuan)相(xiang)(xiang)生(sheng)。敢(gan)有犯此,當(dang)(dang)(dang)歷惡趣。或其(qi)今(jin)(jin)世(shi),先被病殃,死生(sheng)不得,示(shi)眾見(jian)之(zhi)(zhi)。或于(yu)壽(shou)終,入三惡道(dao)。愁(chou)痛酷毒(du),自(zi)(zi)相(xiang)(xiang)燋(jiao)然。共其(qi)怨家(jia),更相(xiang)(xiang)殺傷。從小(xiao)微(wei)起,成大(da)困劇。皆由貪著財色(se),不肯施(shi)惠(hui)。各欲自(zi)(zi)快,無(wu)復曲(qu)直。癡欲所迫,厚(hou)己爭利。富(fu)貴榮華,當(dang)(dang)(dang)時快意。不能忍(ren)辱,不務修善(shan)。威(wei)勢無(wu)幾,隨以磨(mo)滅。天(tian)道(dao)施(shi)張(zhang),自(zi)(zi)然糾舉,煢煢忪(zhong)忪(zhong),當(dang)(dang)(dang)入其(qi)中(zhong)。古今(jin)(jin)有是,痛哉可傷!汝等得佛經語,熟(shu)思(si)惟之(zhi)(zhi)。各自(zi)(zi)端(duan)守,終身不怠。尊圣敬善(shan),仁(ren)慈博愛。當(dang)(dang)(dang)求度世(shi),拔斷生(sheng)死眾惡之(zhi)(zhi)本。當(dang)(dang)(dang)離(li)三途,憂怖苦痛之(zhi)(zhi)道(dao)。若(ruo)曹作善(shan),云何第一(yi)?當(dang)(dang)(dang)自(zi)(zi)端(duan)心,當(dang)(dang)(dang)自(zi)(zi)端(duan)身。耳目口鼻(bi),皆當(dang)(dang)(dang)自(zi)(zi)端(duan)。身心凈潔,與(yu)善(shan)相(xiang)(xiang)應。勿隨嗜欲,不犯諸惡。言色(se)當(dang)(dang)(dang)和,身行(xing)當(dang)(dang)(dang)專(zhuan)。動作瞻視(shi),安(an)定徐為。作事倉卒,敗悔在(zai)后。為之(zhi)(zhi)不諦,亡其(qi)功夫。

【譯文】釋迦牟尼(ni)佛(fo)對彌勒說:“我告訴了你們這(zhe)個五(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e)、五(wu)(wu)痛(tong)(tong)、五(wu)(wu)燒輾(zhan)轉(zhuan)相生因果輪回的(de)道理。若還有(you)人敢于犯此(ci)五(wu)(wu)惡(e)(e),必當遭到惡(e)(e)果所報(bao),或(huo)者(zhe)其人今世就得(de)現(xian)報(bao),先(xian)被病惡(e)(e)禍及,痛(tong)(tong)苦不(bu)堪,求(qiu)(qiu)生不(bu)得(de),求(qiu)(qiu)死不(bu)能,讓大眾都得(de)見這(zhe)惡(e)(e)行(xing)惡(e)(e)報(bao)的(de)下場。或(huo)者(zhe)其人在壽終之(zhi)后,墮入(ru)三惡(e)(e)趣中,憂愁痛(tong)(tong)苦,酷刑荼毒,自(zi)業(ye)之(zhi)火,炙灼自(zi)身;與他在生之(zhi)世結的(de)冤(yuan)家對頭共處一地,互相傷害殘殺,從很小的(de)摩擦開(kai)始(shi),愈演愈烈,最終釀成重災大禍。

“上述兩種惡報都是(shi)由于生之(zhi)世貪(tan)得無(wu)厭,積斂錢財(cai)(cai),無(wu)羞無(wu)恥,沉(chen)溺(ni)色(se)情,不肯以(yi)財(cai)(cai)物布施窮(qiong)人,只(zhi)求自己快樂和欲(yu)望得到滿(man)足,不管(guan)所(suo)行(xing)之(zhi)事的(de)(de)(de)是(shi)非曲(qu)直(zhi)。由癡欲(yu)貪(tan)婪之(zhi)心所(suo)迫使,損人利己,不擇手段與人爭(zheng)利,爭(zheng)得的(de)(de)(de)富貴(gui)榮華,只(zhi)是(shi)一時的(de)(de)(de)快意,不愿忍辱修(xiu)習,不能修(xiu)善積德(de),威風權勢沒有(you)幾天長久,隨即便(bian)磨滅殆(dai)盡。天理(li)昭然,自會觀察審視到其人所(suo)為。其人自感罪(zui)行(xing)敗露,驚惶(huang)失(shi)措,將(jiang)孤(gu)獨地墮(duo)入(ru)惡道之(zhi)中。從古到今有(you)不少這(zhe)方面的(de)(de)(de)例子(zi)。痛(tong)(tong)心啊,真(zhen)使人痛(tong)(tong)心!

“你(ni)(ni)們聽我說了這(zhe)些法教(jiao)(jiao),應(ying)(ying)(ying)對這(zhe)其(qi)中道理深(shen)思(si)熟慮,各自端(duan)(duan)守奉行(xing)教(jiao)(jiao)法,終(zhong)身(shen)不(bu)要(yao)(yao)有片刻懈怠。尊重阿羅漢等修行(xing)人,敬愛(ai)行(xing)善好施的(de)(de)大居士,仁義慈悲,博愛(ai)眾生(sheng),當(dang)求濟度世(shi)間有情之道,拔除斷滅生(sheng)死(si)和(he)各種(zhong)惡的(de)(de)根源。如這(zhe)樣作(zuo)(zuo),則(ze)必(bi)將脫離三(san)惡道的(de)(de)憂愁、恐怖、苦痛(tong)。你(ni)(ni)們作(zuo)(zuo)善事,首先(xian)得作(zuo)(zuo)什(shen)么?首先(xian)應(ying)(ying)(ying)當(dang)自行(xing)端(duan)(duan)正(zheng)身(shen)心,端(duan)(duan)正(zheng)耳、目、口、鼻(bi)。身(shen)心潔凈,與善便(bian)可(ke)相照應(ying)(ying)(ying)。不(bu)要(yao)(yao)順逐嗜(shi)好欲望,不(bu)要(yao)(yao)造下(xia)諸(zhu)種(zhong)惡業,語言(yan)面容(rong)應(ying)(ying)(ying)當(dang)溫柔和(he)藹,自身(shen)及行(xing)為(wei)應(ying)(ying)(ying)當(dang)專誠瑞正(zheng)。一(yi)(yi)舉(ju)一(yi)(yi)動,一(yi)(yi)言(yan)一(yi)(yi)行(xing),都應(ying)(ying)(ying)當(dang)安祥沉靜,從容(rong)不(bu)迫。作(zuo)(zuo)事倉卒慌(huang)忙,必(bi)將失敗(bai)與后悔,一(yi)(yi)招(zhao)不(bu)慎,便(bian)會喪失其(qi)修習了許久的(de)(de)功夫德(de)行(xing)。”

如貧得寶(bao)第三十七

【原文】汝等(deng)廣植德(de)(de)本,勿犯道(dao)(dao)禁。忍(ren)辱精進,慈(ci)心(xin)專一(yi)。齋戒清(qing)凈(jing),一(yi)日(ri)一(yi)夜(ye),勝(sheng)在無(wu)(wu)量壽國(guo)(guo)為(wei)(wei)善(shan)百歲。所(suo)(suo)以(yi)者(zhe)何?彼(bi)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo)土(tu),皆積(ji)德(de)(de)眾(zhong)善(shan),無(wu)(wu)毫發之(zhi)(zhi)惡(e)(e)。于此(ci)(ci)修(xiu)善(shan),十日(ri)十夜(ye),勝(sheng)于他(ta)方(fang)諸佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo)中,為(wei)(wei)善(shan)千歲。所(suo)(suo)以(yi)者(zhe)何?他(ta)方(fang)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)國(guo)(guo),福德(de)(de)自然(ran),無(wu)(wu)造惡(e)(e)之(zhi)(zhi)地。唯此(ci)(ci)世(shi)(shi)間,善(shan)少惡(e)(e)多(duo),飲苦(ku)食毒,未嘗寧息。吾哀汝等(deng),苦(ku)心(xin)誨(hui)喻(yu),授與經(jing)法。悉(xi)持思之(zhi)(zhi),悉(xi)奉(feng)行(xing)之(zhi)(zhi)。尊(zun)卑(bei)、男女、眷屬、朋友,轉(zhuan)相(xiang)(xiang)教語,自相(xiang)(xiang)約檢(jian)。和順義理,歡樂(le)慈(ci)孝。所(suo)(suo)作如(ru)犯,則自悔過。去惡(e)(e)就善(shan),朝聞(wen)夕改。奉(feng)持經(jing)戒,如(ru)貧得(de)(de)寶(bao)。改往修(xiu)來,洗心(xin)易行(xing)。自然(ran)感降,所(suo)(suo)愿輒得(de)(de)。佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)所(suo)(suo)行(xing)處,國(guo)(guo)邑丘(qiu)聚,靡不(bu)蒙化(hua)。天下和順,日(ri)月清(qing)明(ming)。風雨以(yi)時,災厲不(bu)起。國(guo)(guo)豐(feng)民安,兵戈無(wu)(wu)用(yong)。崇德(de)(de)興仁,務修(xiu)禮讓。國(guo)(guo)無(wu)(wu)盜賊,無(wu)(wu)有怨枉(wang)。強(qiang)不(bu)凌(ling)弱(ruo),各得(de)(de)其所(suo)(suo)。我(wo)哀汝等(deng),甚(shen)于父母念子(zi)。我(wo)于此(ci)(ci)世(shi)(shi)作佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),以(yi)善(shan)攻惡(e)(e),拔生死(si)之(zhi)(zhi)苦(ku)。令獲五德(de)(de),升無(wu)(wu)為(wei)(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)安。吾般泥(ni)洹,經(jing)道(dao)(dao)漸滅。人民諂(chan)偽(wei),復為(wei)(wei)眾(zhong)惡(e)(e)。五燒(shao)五痛,久(jiu)后(hou)轉(zhuan)劇。汝等(deng)轉(zhuan)相(xiang)(xiang)教誡(jie),如(ru)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)經(jing)法,無(wu)(wu)得(de)(de)犯也(ye)。彌(mi)勒(le)菩薩,合掌白(bai)言:世(shi)(shi)人惡(e)(e)苦(ku),如(ru)是如(ru)是。佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)皆慈(ci)哀,悉(xi)度(du)脫(tuo)之(zhi)(zhi)。受佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)重誨(hui),不(bu)敢違失(shi)。

【譯文】你(ni)們(men)(men)應(ying)當廣修六度,培植(zhi)功德(de)之(zhi)本,不要違犯了(le)戒(jie)禁(jin)紀律。一定(ding)要忍辱精進(jin),用(yong)心專(zhuan)一。守齋持(chi)戒(jie),務使(shi)身心清凈。若(ruo)能在此穢土(tu)守齋持(chi)戒(jie)一天(tian)一夜,所獲的(de)(de)(de)功德(de)勝過在無量(liang)壽國里(li)作一百(bai)年的(de)(de)(de)善(shan)(shan)行義舉。為(wei)什么呢?那西方(fang)極樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)都是(shi)各種福德(de)善(shan)(shan)事積累而成,沒有哪怕是(shi)如毫毛(mao)頭發的(de)(de)(de)一絲(si)惡念(nian)。在我(wo)們(men)(men)這娑(suo)婆世(shi)界(jie)修善(shan)(shan)十天(tian)十夜,勝過在其他諸(zhu)佛國中(zhong)修善(shan)(shan)千年。為(wei)什么呢?其他的(de)(de)(de)佛國天(tian)然有佛德(de),沒有造(zao)成惡業(ye)的(de)(de)(de)余地。不像(xiang)我(wo)們(men)(men)這世(shi)間(jian),善(shan)(shan)少惡多,飲苦水,吃毒食,終無休止之(zhi)期。

我(wo)為(wei)你(ni)(ni)們(men)眾生悲哀,所以(yi)才苦口婆心地加以(yi)教(jiao)導,翻來復去的(de)(de)給(gei)(gei)出譬喻,一(yi)心要教(jiao)給(gei)(gei)你(ni)(ni)們(men)經(jing)法,令你(ni)(ni)們(men)受持思考,如(ru)教(jiao)奉行(xing)(xing)。對(dui)達(da)官顯(xian)貴和奴(nu)仆(pu)百(bai)姓,對(dui)男人和女人,對(dui)親戚眷(juan)屬,對(dui)朋友同事,轉述我(wo)教(jiao)導的(de)(de)這些(xie)話,務必要自(zi)行(xing)(xing)檢查(cha)約(yue)束,使言行(xing)(xing)舉止合順于理義,歡(huan)喜安樂于慈愛兒女、孝敬父母。所作所為(wei)如(ru)有違(wei)犯經(jing)戒的(de)(de)地方,則(ze)自(zi)行(xing)(xing)改過。離去惡而(er)靠近善,早上知(zhi)道(dao)了(le)正確(que)的(de)(de)道(dao)理,下午就改正過來。奉持經(jing)戒,如(ru)同窮(qiong)人得到(dao)珍寶,改正以(yi)往(wang)的(de)(de)惡,修行(xing)(xing)未來的(de)(de)善,洗(xi)除(chu)心中(zhong)的(de)(de)污(wu)垢,變易自(zi)己的(de)(de)行(xing)(xing)為(wei),自(zi)然(ran)感應到(dao)佛力加持,凡所求愿,都能圓滿。

佛所到(dao)之處,大到(dao)國家,小到(dao)鄉邑,凡(fan)眾生聚居(ju)之處,沒(mei)有一(yi)地不(bu)蒙受教化,也沒(mei)有一(yi)處不(bu)呈現祥和(he)太平。萬邦(bang)和(he)睦(mu),日月清明,風(feng)調雨順,災害不(bu)起,瘟(wen)疫不(bu)行;國家豐足,人民安樂;刀(dao)槍(qiang)入(ru)庫,尊崇道德;興施仁(ren)政,宣傳禮讓;國無(wu)盜賊(zei),世無(wu)怨枉;強(qiang)者不(bu)欺凌弱(ruo)者,人人都(dou)各得(de)其所。

我(wo)(wo)憐憫你(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)罪苦眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng),勝過(guo)父母(mu)慈愛(ai)兒女(nv)。我(wo)(wo)在此五(wu)濁惡世上(shang)作佛;用善德來(lai)攻破(po)惡行。拔除有情生(sheng)(sheng)死之(zhi)苦,使(shi)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)獲(huo)得“五(wu)德”,升(sheng)至無為無礙(ai)的常樂心境。我(wo)(wo)圓(yuan)寂后,經(jing)法(fa)佛道(dao)將逐漸泯(min)滅,那(nei)時候,人(ren)心諂邪狡(jiao)詐,重新作惡,五(wu)燒五(wu)痛,越(yue)來(lai)越(yue)劇,你(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)應(ying)當由我(wo)(wo)佛法(fa)的弟(di)子轉為教導世人(ren)的老師,不倦地教誡眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng),引導眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)。你(ni)(ni)們(men)(men)記住(zhu),對于佛所(suo)留下的經(jing)法(fa),一定(ding)不要違(wei)犯(fan)。

彌勒(le)菩薩合掌致謝禮,贊嘆道:世間人類的惡與苦,如(ru)佛所說(shuo)這(zhe)樣(yang)大、這(zhe)樣(yang)深,佛皆(jie)慈哀世間惡人,不計其(qi)惡而全部(bu)度脫。我等(deng)受佛深刻(ke)的教(jiao)誨,不敢違犯(fan)忘失。

禮佛現光第(di)三十八

【原文】佛(fo)(fo)告阿難:若曹欲(yu)見(jian)無(wu)(wu)量(liang)(liang)清(qing)凈(jing)平(ping)等(deng)覺(jue),及(ji)(ji)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)菩(pu)薩、阿羅(luo)漢等(deng)所(suo)居(ju)國土(tu),應起(qi)西向(xiang),當(dang)(dang)日沒處(chu)(chu),恭(gong)(gong)敬頂禮(li),稱念南無(wu)(wu)阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)。阿難即從座(zuo)起(qi),面(mian)(mian)西合掌,頂禮(li)白言(yan)(yan):我今愿(yuan)見(jian)極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie)阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo),供養(yang)奉事(shi),種諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)善根。頂禮(li)之(zhi)間,忽(hu)見(jian)阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo),容顏廣大,色(se)相端嚴(yan)。如(ru)(ru)(ru)黃金山,高出一切(qie)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)世(shi)界(jie)(jie)上。又聞(wen)十方世(shi)界(jie)(jie),諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)如(ru)(ru)(ru)來,稱揚贊嘆(tan)阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)種種功德,無(wu)(wu)礙(ai)無(wu)(wu)斷。阿難白言(yan)(yan):彼佛(fo)(fo)凈(jing)剎得未曾有(you),我亦愿(yuan)樂(le)生于(yu)彼土(tu)。世(shi)尊告言(yan)(yan):其中生者(zhe),已(yi)曾親近無(wu)(wu)量(liang)(liang)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo),植眾(zhong)德本。汝欲(yu)生彼,應當(dang)(dang)一心歸依瞻仰。作(zuo)(zuo)是語(yu)時(shi),阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)即于(yu)掌中放無(wu)(wu)量(liang)(liang)光(guang)(guang)(guang),普照(zhao)(zhao)一切(qie)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)世(shi)界(jie)(jie)。時(shi)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)國,皆(jie)悉(xi)(xi)(xi)明(ming)(ming)現(xian)(xian),如(ru)(ru)(ru)處(chu)(chu)一尋。以(yi)阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)殊(shu)勝光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming),極(ji)清(qing)凈(jing)故,于(yu)此世(shi)界(jie)(jie)所(suo)有(you)黑(hei)山、雪山、金剛、鐵圍(wei)大小諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)山,江河叢(cong)林,天(tian)人(ren)宮殿,一切(qie)境界(jie)(jie),無(wu)(wu)不(bu)照(zhao)(zhao)見(jian)。譬如(ru)(ru)(ru)日出,明(ming)(ming)照(zhao)(zhao)世(shi)間。乃至泥犁、溪(xi)谷,幽冥之(zhi)處(chu)(chu),悉(xi)(xi)(xi)大開辟,皆(jie)同一色(se)。猶如(ru)(ru)(ru)劫水(shui)彌(mi)滿世(shi)界(jie)(jie),其中萬物,沉沒不(bu)現(xian)(xian),滉漾(yang)浩汗,唯見(jian)大水(shui)。彼佛(fo)(fo)光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming),亦復如(ru)(ru)(ru)是。聲聞(wen)、菩(pu)薩一切(qie)光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming),悉(xi)(xi)(xi)皆(jie)隱(yin)蔽,唯見(jian)佛(fo)(fo)光(guang)(guang)(guang),明(ming)(ming)耀顯(xian)赫。此會四眾(zhong)、天(tian)龍八部(bu)、人(ren)非人(ren)等(deng),皆(jie)見(jian)極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie),種種莊(zhuang)(zhuang)嚴(yan)。阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo),于(yu)彼高座(zuo),威(wei)德巍巍,相好光(guang)(guang)(guang)明(ming)(ming),聲聞(wen)、菩(pu)薩,圍(wei)繞恭(gong)(gong)敬。譬如(ru)(ru)(ru)須(xu)彌(mi)山王(wang),出于(yu)海面(mian)(mian)。明(ming)(ming)現(xian)(xian)照(zhao)(zhao)耀,清(qing)凈(jing)平(ping)正。無(wu)(wu)有(you)雜穢,及(ji)(ji)異形類。唯是眾(zhong)寶(bao)莊(zhuang)(zhuang)嚴(yan),圣賢共住(zhu)。阿難及(ji)(ji)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)菩(pu)薩眾(zhong)等(deng),皆(jie)大歡喜,踴躍作(zuo)(zuo)禮(li),以(yi)頭著地(di),稱念南無(wu)(wu)阿彌(mi)陀三藐三佛(fo)(fo)陀。諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)天(tian)人(ren)民,以(yi)至蜎飛蠕(ru)動,睹斯光(guang)(guang)(guang)者(zhe),所(suo)有(you)疾苦,莫不(bu)休止,一切(qie)憂惱,莫不(bu)解脫。悉(xi)(xi)(xi)皆(jie)慈(ci)心作(zuo)(zuo)善,歡喜快樂(le)。鐘(zhong)磬(qing)、琴瑟(se)、箜篌(hou)樂(le)器,不(bu)鼓自(zi)然(ran)皆(jie)作(zuo)(zuo)五音。諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)國中,諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)天(tian)人(ren)民,各持花香,來于(yu)虛空,散作(zuo)(zuo)供養(yang)。爾時(shi)極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)(jie),過于(yu)西方百千(qian)俱胝(zhi)那(nei)由(you)他國,以(yi)佛(fo)(fo)威(wei)力,如(ru)(ru)(ru)對目前,如(ru)(ru)(ru)凈(jing)天(tian)眼,觀(guan)一尋地(di)。彼見(jian)此土(tu),亦復如(ru)(ru)(ru)是。悉(xi)(xi)(xi)睹娑婆世(shi)界(jie)(jie),釋迦如(ru)(ru)(ru)來,及(ji)(ji)比丘眾(zhong),圍(wei)繞說法。

【譯文】釋(shi)加牟(mou)尼佛告誡(jie)阿難說:“你們(men)如果想(xiang)見無量壽佛以及西(xi)方(fang)極(ji)樂世(shi)界諸(zhu)菩(pu)薩、阿羅漢等所居住的(de)凈(jing)土,應起立(li)面(mian)向(xiang)西(xi)方(fang),即對日落之(zhi)處,恭敬地行(xing)禮,稱(cheng)念(nian)南無阿彌陀佛。”

阿(a)(a)難即刻從座(zuo)位上站起來,面向西方(fang);合掌行禮而(er)發愿道:我現在愿見極樂世界(jie)的阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo),供養伺奉阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo),并以(yi)此(ci)積累福德。正行禮之(zhi)間,忽見阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)。阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)臉面極其廣(guang)大,面容相貌端莊威嚴,如黃金(jin)的山,高高地出現在一切諸(zhu)世界(jie)上空(kong),又聽聞到(dao)十方(fang)世界(jie)的諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)如來,都在稱揚贊嘆阿(a)(a)彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)(fo)的種(zhong)種(zhong)功德,天地之(zhi)間無處不(bu)(bu)回響著這美(mei)好的聲音,久久不(bu)(bu)斷。”

阿難稟白說:“今見西(xi)方極樂世界,得見所(suo)未見,聞所(suo)未聞的(de)(de)奇跡,我也愿意高興地往(wang)生于那(nei)里。”世尊告(gao)訴他說:“西(xi)方極樂世界的(de)(de)往(wang)生者,過(guo)去曾供養(yang)伺奉無(wu)量諸佛,積累了各種福德(de)善(shan)根(gen),你想(xiang)往(wang)生那(nei)里,就應當一(yi)(yi)心一(yi)(yi)意地歸(gui)依和(he)瞻(zhan)仰阿彌(mi)陀佛。”

說這(zhe)話的(de)(de)(de)時候(hou)(hou),阿(a)(a)彌陀佛(fo)(fo)即在(zai)手掌中放(fang)出無(wu)量(liang)的(de)(de)(de)光(guang)(guang),普照(zhao)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)世(shi)(shi)界。這(zhe)時候(hou)(hou),諸(zhu)佛(fo)(fo)國皆(jie)全(quan)部顯(xian)現(xian)出來,只在(zai)咫尺之(zhi)(zhi)間。因為(wei)阿(a)(a)彌陀佛(fo)(fo)無(wu)比的(de)(de)(de)光(guang)(guang)明極(ji)其清(qing)凈(jing)的(de)(de)(de)緣(yuan)故,把(ba)這(zhe)世(shi)(shi)界所有(you)的(de)(de)(de)黑山、雪山、金剛山、鐵圍山等大(da)大(da)小(xiao)小(xiao)的(de)(de)(de)山,把(ba)這(zhe)世(shi)(shi)界所有(you)的(de)(de)(de)江河、叢林、天人(ren)宮殿等等一(yi)切(qie)(qie)境界,全(quan)都照(zhao)現(xian)出來。譬如(ru)(ru)太(tai)陽升起(qi)在(zai)空中,光(guang)(guang)明普照(zhao)世(shi)(shi)間,乃至照(zhao)遍地(di)獄(yu)、溪谷等幽暗之(zhi)(zhi)處(chu)。這(zhe)些幽暗之(zhi)(zhi)處(chu)全(quan)都開明盡現(xian),世(shi)(shi)上一(yi)切(qie)(qie)事(shi)物(wu)無(wu)不(bu)顯(xian)出金色光(guang)(guang)芒。猶如(ru)(ru)劫水彌漫于世(shi)(shi)界,其中的(de)(de)(de)萬物(wu)沉沒不(bu)現(xian),無(wu)邊無(wu)際唯見(jian)大(da)水。阿(a)(a)彌陀佛(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)光(guang)(guang)明亦是這(zhe)樣。聲聞、菩薩的(de)(de)(de)一(yi)切(qie)(qie)光(guang)(guang)明,全(quan)都隱蔽不(bu)現(xian),惟見(jian)佛(fo)(fo)光(guang)(guang)明耀顯(xian)赫(he)。

在(zai)此聚會的(de)四眾弟(di)子,天(tian)龍八部、人(ren)非(fei)人(ren)等,都(dou)親眼(yan)看(kan)見(jian)了極樂世界的(de)種(zhong)種(zhong)莊嚴(yan)(yan)之象。阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo)坐在(zai)他的(de)高座上,威(wei)嚴(yan)(yan)肅(su)穆(mu),功德巍(wei)(wei)巍(wei)(wei),瑞(rui)相(xiang)光(guang)明,與(yu)天(tian)地(di)齊(qi)。聲聞、菩薩弟(di)子恭恭敬敬地(di)圍繞在(zai)他身邊(bian)。譬如須彌山王升起于海面,光(guang)明照耀,清凈安穩,沒有雜染污穢,以及異形物類,只有各種(zhong)寶物莊嚴(yan)(yan)修飾(shi),只有圣人(ren)與(yu)賢(xian)者相(xiang)居共住。阿難及諸菩薩眾等皆心(xin)生(sheng)大歡(huan)喜(xi),歡(huan)呼雀躍(yue),五體投地(di)恭行大禮,口(kou)中稱念南無阿彌陀佛(fo)(fo)。

諸(zhu)天(tian)界(jie)人(ren)民,以至飛蠅爬蟲,凡(fan)見(jian)到阿彌陀佛光明(ming)者,所有的(de)(de)疾病痛苦,莫不(bu)消失,一切的(de)(de)憂愁(chou)煩惱(nao),無(wu)不(bu)解脫。人(ren)人(ren)都(dou)生發(fa)出(chu)(chu)慈(ci)善之(zhi)心,人(ren)人(ren)都(dou)感到歡喜快樂(le)(le)。鐘磬琴(qin)瑟(se)、箜篌樂(le)(le)器(qi),不(bu)鼓(gu)不(bu)彈不(bu)吹不(bu)奏便自(zi)然地(di)(di)發(fa)出(chu)(chu)音樂(le)(le)。諸(zhu)佛國中(zhong)諸(zhu)天(tian)人(ren)民各各手持(chi)鮮花、供香,來到虛空(kong)之(zhi)中(zhong)散(san)下(xia),以此(ci)供養佛世(shi)(shi)尊。那時,極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)雖遠(yuan)在(zai)西方百千俱胝(zhi)那由他(ta)國度之(zhi)外,以佛的(de)(de)威力現出(chu)(chu)奇跡(ji),如在(zai)眼(yan)前對面。又如同(tong)以天(tian)眼(yan)觀看咫尺以外的(de)(de)地(di)(di)方,自(zi)然無(wu)不(bu)清晰(xi)(xi)明(ming)見(jian)。極樂(le)(le)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)上的(de)(de)圣眾(zhong)看娑(suo)婆(po)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)也同(tong)娑(suo)婆(po)世(shi)(shi)異眾(zhong)生看他(ta)們一樣清晰(xi)(xi)明(ming)白,他(ta)們又都(dou)能看到娑(suo)婆(po)世(shi)(shi)界(jie)上的(de)(de)釋迦牟尼佛,以及眾(zhong)比(bi)丘。眾(zhong)比(bi)丘圍(wei)繞釋迦如來,正在(zai)演(yan)說此(ci)《大乘無(wu)量(liang)壽莊(zhuang)嚴(yan)清凈平(ping)等覺(jue)經(jing)》。

慈氏(shi)述見第三(san)十九

【原文】爾時佛告阿難,及慈氏(shi)菩薩:汝見(jian)極(ji)樂世(shi)界(jie),宮(gong)殿(dian)樓閣,泉(quan)池林(lin)樹,具足微妙清凈莊(zhuang)嚴(yan)否?汝見(jian)欲(yu)界(jie)諸(zhu)天,上至色究竟天,雨諸(zhu)香華(hua),遍佛剎否?阿難對曰:唯(wei)然已見(jian)。汝聞阿彌(mi)陀佛大音宣布一(yi)切世(shi)界(jie),化(hua)(hua)眾生否?阿難對曰:唯(wei)然已聞。佛言:汝見(jian)彼(bi)國凈行(xing)之眾,游處虛空,宮(gong)殿(dian)隨身(shen),無所障礙,遍至十方供養諸(zhu)佛否?及見(jian)彼(bi)等念佛相(xiang)續否?復有(you)眾鳥住(zhu)虛空界(jie),出種種音,皆(jie)是(shi)化(hua)(hua)作,汝悉(xi)見(jian)否?慈氏(shi)白言:如(ru)佛所說,一(yi)一(yi)皆(jie)見(jian)。佛告彌(mi)勒:彼(bi)國人民有(you)胎(tai)生者,汝復見(jian)否?彌(mi)勒白言:世(shi)尊,我(wo)見(jian)極(ji)樂世(shi)界(jie)人住(zhu)胎(tai)者,如(ru)夜摩天,處于宮(gong)殿(dian)。又見(jian)眾生,于蓮華(hua)內結跏趺坐,自(zi)然化(hua)(hua)生。何因緣故,彼(bi)國人民,有(you)胎(tai)生者,有(you)化(hua)(hua)生者?

【譯文】那(nei)時候,釋迦牟尼問(wen)阿難以及慈氏菩(pu)薩道(dao):“你(ni)們(men)看(kan)(kan)見(jian)極樂世(shi)界(jie)的宮殿、樓閣、泉池、林樹是否十分微妙和(he)清凈(jing)莊嚴?你(ni)們(men)看(kan)(kan)見(jian)欲界(jie)諸天,上至色究竟天,降香花(hua)之雨,那(nei)花(hua)遍(bian)散十方佛國凈(jing)土了(le)嗎(ma)?”

阿難回(hui)答說:“都看(kan)見了。”

釋迦牟尼(ni)佛(fo)又(you)問(wen):“你們(men)聽到阿彌陀(tuo)佛(fo)以他(ta)宏大的聲音宣布(bu),他(ta)將于一切世(shi)界(jie)來化(hua)度眾生了嗎?”

阿(a)難回答說:“都聽到了。”

釋(shi)迦牟(mou)尼佛又說:“你們(men)看見極樂世(shi)界清(qing)凈(jing)修行的(de)圣眾遨游虛空之中(zhong)了(le)嗎(ma)?他們(men)所居(ju)的(de)宮(gong)殿隨在(zai)(zai)身后,他們(men)飛到哪(na)(na)兒宮(gong)殿也跟(gen)到哪(na)(na)兒,竟然沒有任何(he)障礙。你們(men)看見他們(men)如此這般地飛遍十方世(shi)界去(qu)供(gong)養諸佛了(le)嗎(ma)?你們(men)看到他們(men)在(zai)(zai)不斷(duan)念佛嗎(ma)?各種(zhong)鳥在(zai)(zai)虛空中(zhong)啼叫,發(fa)出(chu)種(zhong)種(zhong)聲音(yin),都是(shi)阿彌(mi)陀佛的(de)變化(hua)所為,你們(men)全看出(chu)來了(le)嗎(ma)?”

彌(mi)勒菩薩答道:“如佛所說,我們都一一看見了。”

釋迦牟尼(ni)佛又向彌勒(le)菩薩發問(wen)道:“西方極樂世界的(de)人(ren)民中暫(zan)的(de)是胎生的(de),你看清楚了(le)嗎?”

彌勒(le)菩薩回答(da)說:“世(shi)尊,我看見極樂(le)(le)世(shi)界(jie)有胎生(sheng)的人,猶如(ru)夜摩(mo)天人在宮(gong)殿中(zhong)。又還(huan)看見眾生(sheng)于蓮(lian)花內結(jie)跏跌坐(zuo)而自然化生(sheng)。但這是什么因(yin)緣(yuan)造成西方(fang)極樂(le)(le)世(shi)界(jie)有胎生(sheng)者(zhe)和(he)化生(sheng)者(zhe)兩(liang)種(zhong)眾生(sheng)的呢?”

邊地疑(yi)城第(di)四十(shi)

【原文】佛(fo)(fo)告慈氏:若有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),以疑(yi)惑心修諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)功(gong)德,愿生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)彼國。不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)了佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議(yi)智(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可稱智(zhi)(zhi)、大(da)乘廣智(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)等無(wu)倫最上(shang)勝(sheng)(sheng)智(zhi)(zhi),于(yu)此諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)智(zhi)(zhi),疑(yi)惑不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)信(xin)(xin)。猶(you)信(xin)(xin)罪福,修習(xi)善本,愿生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)其(qi)國。復有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),積(ji)集善根(gen),希求(qiu)佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)、普遍(bian)智(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)等智(zhi)(zhi)、威德廣大(da)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)思議(yi)智(zhi)(zhi)。于(yu)自(zi)善根(gen),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)信(xin)(xin)。故(gu)于(yu)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)清凈佛(fo)(fo)國,意志猶(you)豫,無(wu)所(suo)專據(ju)。然猶(you)續念不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)絕。結其(qi)善愿為本,續得(de)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。是諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)人等,以此因緣,雖生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)彼國,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能前至(zhi)無(wu)量壽所(suo)。道止佛(fo)(fo)國界邊,七(qi)寶(bao)城中。佛(fo)(fo)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)使爾(er),身(shen)行所(suo)作(zuo),心自(zi)趣向(xiang)。亦有(you)寶(bao)池蓮華,自(zi)然受身(shen)。飲食快樂,如忉利(li)天。于(yu)其(qi)城中,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能得(de)出(chu)。所(suo)居舍宅在地,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能隨意高大(da)。于(yu)五(wu)(wu)百歲(sui),常不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)佛(fo)(fo),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)聞經法,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)菩(pu)(pu)薩聲聞圣眾(zhong)。其(qi)人智(zhi)(zhi)慧不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)明(ming),知(zhi)經復少。心不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)開解,意不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)歡樂。是故(gu)于(yu)彼謂之胎(tai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)。若有(you)眾(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),明(ming)信(xin)(xin)佛(fo)(fo)智(zhi)(zhi),乃(nai)至(zhi)勝(sheng)(sheng)智(zhi)(zhi),斷除疑(yi)惑,信(xin)(xin)己善根(gen),作(zuo)諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)功(gong)德,至(zhi)心回向(xiang)。皆于(yu)七(qi)寶(bao)華中,自(zi)然化生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),跏趺而坐。須臾之頃,身(shen)相光(guang)明(ming),智(zhi)(zhi)慧功(gong)德,如諸(zhu)(zhu)(zhu)菩(pu)(pu)薩,具(ju)足成(cheng)就。彌(mi)勒當(dang)知(zhi),彼化生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者,智(zhi)(zhi)慧勝(sheng)(sheng)故(gu)。其(qi)胎(tai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)者,五(wu)(wu)百歲(sui)中,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)見(jian)三寶(bao),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)菩(pu)(pu)薩法式,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得(de)修習(xi)功(gong)德,無(wu)因奉事(shi)無(wu)量壽佛(fo)(fo)。當(dang)知(zhi)此人,宿世之時,無(wu)有(you)智(zhi)(zhi)慧,疑(yi)惑所(suo)致。

【譯文】釋迦牟尼佛(fo)告訴彌勒菩(pu)薩道:“比如有(you)的(de)(de)眾(zhong)生(sheng)用疑(yi)惑的(de)(de)態(tai)度去修(xiu)種種功(gong)德(de),愿往生(sheng)西方極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie),他們不(bu)理解佛(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)思議(yi)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、不(bu)可稱智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、大乘廣(guang)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)等(deng)無(wu)倫最上(shang)勝智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)的(de)(de)奧妙(miao),對(dui)于(yu)(yu)這(zhe)些(xie)佛(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)持懷疑(yi)而不(bu)相信(xin)(xin)的(de)(de)態(tai)度,不(bu)過他們還(huan)相信(xin)(xin)五(wu)逆十(shi)惡等(deng)重罪以及(ji)五(wu)戒十(shi)善(shan)等(deng)福業,能造成(cheng)因果報應,因而修(xiu)習為善(shan)功(gong)德(de),愿往生(sheng)極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie);還(huan)有(you)的(de)(de)眾(zhong)生(sheng),積累功(gong)德(de)善(shan)根,希望(wang)求得(de)佛(fo)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、普遍智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、無(wu)等(deng)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)、威德(de)廣(guang)大不(bu)思議(yi)智(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),但對(dui)自己的(de)(de)善(shan)根卻(que)不(bu)能堅定信(xin)(xin)心(xin),因此,對(dui)于(yu)(yu)是否(fou)能往生(sheng)西方極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie),意(yi)志(zhi)猶豫而不(bu)堅定,對(dui)于(yu)(yu)自修(xiu)善(shan)根,尚不(bu)能一(yi)心(xin)信(xin)(xin)奉,因而對(dui)于(yu)(yu)往生(sheng)佛(fo)國凈土,只是半信(xin)(xin)半疑(yi),不(bu)能一(yi)心(xin)專念(nian)(nian),但他畢竟(jing)能夠繼續念(nian)(nian)佛(fo)不(bu)絕,以念(nian)(nian)佛(fo)力結成(cheng)其往生(sheng)極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)的(de)(de)善(shan)愿,以發愿力為依(yi)據,仍(reng)得(de)以往生(sheng)西方極(ji)樂(le)世(shi)界(jie)。

“上(shang)述二類人,以他(ta)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)因緣雖得(de)(de)(de)以往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)西方極(ji)樂(le)(le)世界(jie)(jie),但不能(neng)(neng)到(dao)達無量壽佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)住(zhu)(zhu)所(suo)。他(ta)們(men)(men)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)路只到(dao)極(ji)樂(le)(le)世界(jie)(jie)邊界(jie)(jie)上(shang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)七寶(bao)(bao)城中,這(zhe)并(bing)不是阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)造成(cheng)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)。能(neng)(neng)否到(dao)達佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)地(di)(di)取(qu)決(jue)于他(ta)們(men)(men)自身的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)行為(wei),取(qu)決(jue)于他(ta)們(men)(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)內心取(qu)向。也有犯有疑惑的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)者從寶(bao)(bao)池蓮(lian)花中自然(ran)受身,這(zhe)些往(wang)生(sheng)(sheng)到(dao)邊界(jie)(jie)疑城中的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)眾(zhong)(zhong)生(sheng)(sheng),飲(yin)食方面的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)快樂(le)(le)有如(ru)忉利天,但其(qi)在(zai)(zai)七寶(bao)(bao)城中不能(neng)(neng)得(de)(de)(de)以外出,只能(neng)(neng)居住(zhu)(zhu)在(zai)(zai)平地(di)(di)住(zhu)(zhu)宅中,不能(neng)(neng)像其(qi)他(ta)極(ji)樂(le)(le)世界(jie)(jie)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)圣眾(zhong)(zhong)那樣(yang)隨意(yi)上(shang)升虛空。在(zai)(zai)五百年之中,不能(neng)(neng)見到(dao)阿彌(mi)陀佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo),不能(neng)(neng)聽聞(wen)佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)說經法,不能(neng)(neng)見到(dao)菩薩、聲聞(wen)圣眾(zhong)(zhong)。這(zhe)些人雖有小(xiao)智而不明達,對(dui)于佛(fo)(fo)(fo)(fo)法經典又知之不多,心靈(ling)不得(de)(de)(de)開解,精神不得(de)(de)(de)歡樂(le)(le),所(suo)以邊地(di)(di)疑城中稱這(zhe)些人為(wei)‘胎生(sheng)(sheng)’。

“也(ye)有(you)眾(zhong)生明確地信(xin)奉佛智、乃至勝智,斷(duan)除對佛的(de)(de)所有(you)疑惑(huo);同時也(ye)堅信(xin)自己的(de)(de)善(shan)根,從而作諸(zhu)功(gong)德善(shan)事(shi),全心全意(yi)地回向凈土,這些(xie)眾(zhong)生便全都得(de)于七(qi)寶(bao)蓮花中自然化生,結跏趺而坐。片(pian)刻之(zhi)間,身相形貌放射(she)光明,其人智慧功(gong)德,具足如同諸(zhu)菩薩。彌(mi)勒你(ni)應當知(zhi)道(dao),這些(xie)化生者之(zhi)所以得(de)化生,是他(ta)們的(de)(de)智慧超過上述胎生者。胎生者,在五百年中不(bu)(bu)得(de)見佛法僧三寶(bao),不(bu)(bu)得(de)見菩薩作法儀(yi)式(shi),不(bu)(bu)得(de)修習(xi)功(gong)德,不(bu)(bu)能得(de)到奉事(shi)無量壽佛的(de)(de)條件。應當知(zhi)道(dao),這是因為這些(xie)人在前世的(de)(de)時候,沒有(you)智慧而心生疑惑(huo)所造成(cheng)。”
