福(fu)州市(shi)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)靈巖(yan)禪寺位于福(fu)州市(shi)晉安區新店(dian)鎮(zhen)赤星村境(jing)內升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)上(shang),據(ju)《三山(shan)志(zhi)》、《閩都記(ji)》等古志(zhi)史的記(ji)載(zai):“世(shi)(shi)傳越王勾踐時,此山(shan)自會稽(ji)飛(fei)來”,故名(ming)飛(fei)來峰。晉太康年間(jian),任敦(dun)在這里修道(dao)(dao)白日羽化升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)天(tian),即(ji)“一(yi)人得道(dao)(dao),雞犬(quan)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)天(tian)”。唐天(tian)寶六年(747年),唐玄宗“以仙(xian)公之上(shang)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),詔(zhao)改升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)”,御封飛(fei)來峰為升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan),現存“任公臺”、“仙(xian)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)巖(yan)”等古跡,民間(jian)有(you)任敦(dun)“種杏立果”、“食枳葉染飯成仙(xian)”的傳說。唐宋(song)八(ba)大家(jia)之一(yi)的曾(ceng)鞏《游升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)》詩曰:“修竹長松十里陰,任敦(dun)燒藥洞門深(shen)。獨窺全版(ban)驚人語,能到清霞出世(shi)(shi)心。雞犬(quan)亦隨(sui)云外去(qu),蓬瀛何必海(hai)中尋。丹樓碧閣(ge)唐朝寺,錫(xi)吹香花滿(man)歸林(lin)。”《三山(shan)志(zhi)》載(zai):“以其(qi)西巖(yan)石(shi)間(jian)時聞鼓磬聲(sheng),故稱靈巖(yan)”,故又名(ming)升(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)山(shan)靈巖(yan)寺。
升山(shan)(shan)(shan)靈(ling)巖寺(si)始建于南(nan)北朝陳天(tian)(tian)嘉三年(562年),為(wei)(wei)(wei)福州市較(jiao)早(zao)的寺(si)院之(zhi)一(yi)。《三山(shan)(shan)(shan)志》載(zai):“升山(shan)(shan)(shan)有(you)(you)(you)元沙(sha)寺(si)(又稱(cheng)玄(xuan)(xuan)(xuan)沙(sha)寺(si)),本(ben)安國禪師(shi)塔院也。”《閩(min)都記》載(zai):“升山(shan)(shan)(shan)靈(ling)巖寺(si) 升山(shan)(shan)(shan),去郡十里而遙。陳天(tian)(tian)嘉三年創寺(si),舊號飛山(shan)(shan)(shan)。元沙(sha)寺(si)即(ji)其址也。”唐、宋兩代(dai)極盛(sheng)時有(you)(you)(you)僧尼千(qian)人,其中有(you)(you)(you)一(yi)部份還(huan)是(shi)日本(ben)、高麗等國趕到“玄(xuan)(xuan)(xuan)沙(sha)寺(si)”朝圣的僧侶,出國師(shi)“宗(zong)(zong)一(yi)安國”禪師(shi)(即(ji)玄(xuan)(xuan)(xuan)沙(sha)師(shi)備(bei)(835~908年),俗姓謝,閩(min)王(wang)王(wang)審(shen)知曾(ceng)拜師(shi)備(bei)為(wei)(wei)(wei)師(shi),晚年回福州,結屋在(zai)北門(men)外玄(xuan)(xuan)(xuan)沙(sha)山(shan)(shan)(shan)(今福州郊區(qu)新(xin)店鎮(zhen)升山(shan)(shan)(shan)),稱(cheng)“玄(xuan)(xuan)(xuan)沙(sha)寺(si)”,成(cheng)(cheng)為(wei)(wei)(wei)“法(fa)(fa)眼(yan)宗(zong)(zong)”的發(fa)源(yuan)地。師(shi)備(bei)有(you)(you)(you)《大小語錄》傳世,閩(min)王(wang)王(wang)審(shen)知為(wei)(wei)(wei)師(shi)備(bei)逝世尤其悼(dao)惜(xi),賜號宗(zong)(zong)一(yi)大師(shi),立塔紀念。后(hou)唐長興元年(930年),新(xin)閩(min)王(wang)王(wang)延鈞也為(wei)(wei)(wei)師(shi)備(bei)樹碑紀念。玄(xuan)(xuan)(xuan)沙(sha)從《楞嚴(yan)經》入道,識見尤屬特別,化行尤廣。繼有(you)(you)(you)羅漢桂琛(867—928),門(men)眾推為(wei)(wei)(wei)上座(zuo),大弘玄(xuan)(xuan)(xuan)沙(sha)之(zhi)教(jiao),從桂琛得法(fa)(fa)的有(you)(you)(you)文益(885—958),后(hou)為(wei)(wei)(wei)南(nan)唐元宗(zong)(zong)迎住于金陵報恩禪院,死后(hou)謚法(fa)(fa)眼(yan),衍成(cheng)(cheng)法(fa)(fa)眼(yan)宗(zong)(zong))。歷代(dai)名(ming)僧倍出,被冠以(yi)“靈(ling)巖顯(xian)圣兮(xi)閩(min)中寶剎第一(yi)”的尊稱(cheng),有(you)(you)(you)“未有(you)(you)(you)涌泉(quan),先(xian)有(you)(you)(you)靈(ling)巖”的說法(fa)(fa)。
唐朝周(zhou)樸(pu),宋代曾鞏、陳(chen)襄(xiang)、李綱,明代陳(chen)亮,清代林(lin)則(ze)(ze)徐等(deng)都游(you)(you)過升(sheng)山(shan)(shan)靈巖(yan)寺。唐周(zhou)樸(pu)有《升(sheng)山(shan)(shan)》詩寫(xie):“升(sheng)山(shan)(shan)自(zi)古道飛(fei)來,此是(shi)神功莫浪(lang)猜(cai)。氣色雖然離禹穴,峰巒(luan)猶自(zi)接蓬萊。巖(yan)邊古樹泉沖(chong)落,頂(ding)上浮云照日開。南望閩(min)城塵世界,千秋(qiu)萬(wan)古卷浮埃。”現寺后巖(yan)壁上保留宋代張去惑、程師孟、周(zhou)君信,元代也先不花大年和清代林(lin)則(ze)(ze)徐等(deng)名(ming)人的(de)摩崖題刻。如(ru):“道光庚戍夏,邑人林(lin)則(ze)(ze)徐、郭柏蒼同蜀李惺游(you)(you)升(sheng)山(shan)(shan)寺。”當時林(lin)則(ze)(ze)徐已66歲,在家養病期間同四(si)川進士(shi)李惺一(yi)起游(you)(you)升(sheng)山(shan)(shan)寺。“獨有昔賢遺刻在,年年秋(qiu)雨長青苔”,成(cheng)了一(yi)道獨特的(de)風景線,讓人懷古憑吊。
升(sheng)山(shan)靈(ling)巖寺(si)(si)為(wei)(wei)市、區文物保護單(dan)位(wei),明(ming)嘉靖時(shi)曾重(zhong)(zhong)修過,后又毀,清光緒三十(shi)三年(1907年)重(zhong)(zhong)建,寺(si)(si)內(nei)(nei)現存宋(song)代(dai)古石槽和古僧塔垅等(deng)。現在的升(sheng)山(shan)寺(si)(si)有天王殿(dian)、大(da)(da)(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)、大(da)(da)(da)悲(bei)樓、西歸祠、彌陀(tuo)殿(dian)、僧舍(she)等(deng)。大(da)(da)(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)為(wei)(wei)清朝木椽結構建筑,有聯曰:“圣(sheng)地(di)千(qian)秋秀,佛天萬(wan)古春”、“天上樓臺山(shan)中寺(si)(si),云中鐘鼓月中僧。”等(deng)。在大(da)(da)(da)雄寶(bao)殿(dian)后面(mian)的大(da)(da)(da)悲(bei)樓,由大(da)(da)(da)護法普音居(ju)士捐資重(zhong)(zhong)建,大(da)(da)(da)悲(bei)樓高聳雄偉,氣概萬(wan)千(qian),宛若天上瓊樓玉宇(yu),身歷其境,猶如進(jin)入(ru)仙鄉(xiang),內(nei)(nei)供千(qian)手觀音菩(pu)薩巨像,彩繪描金粉飾,高二十(shi)多米,為(wei)(wei)福州(zhou)地(di)區所絕無僅有。
從偏東30度(du)遠處眺望升山(shan)(shan),其山(shan)(shan)勢(shi)有如一座巨大的彌勒佛(fo)(fo),而升山(shan)(shan)靈巖寺則(ze)修建在這尊彌勒佛(fo)(fo)的肚臍上,這不可不謂古人(ren)建寺時選址的良苦用心(xin),站在升山(shan)(shan)瀏覽四周,遠處左有鼓(gu)(gu)山(shan)(shan),右有旗山(shan)(shan),前有五鳳(feng)山(shan)(shan)。近處東有獅山(shan)(shan),西有象山(shan)(shan),后(hou)(hou)有葫蘆(lu)山(shan)(shan)。故有“左鼓(gu)(gu)右旗前五鳳(feng)”,“東獅西象后(hou)(hou)葫蘆(lu)”“飛峰毓秀也(ye)天下(xia)形勝無雙”之說,細(xi)細(xi)端祥(xiang),越發耐(nai)人(ren)尋味,實為風(feng)水寶地,與屏山(shan)(shan)鎮海樓(lou)南北相映(ying)。
在(zai)升山(shan)靈巖寺觀景(jing),可謂人(ren)生一(yi)大享受(shou),在(zai)鼓嶺觀景(jing),因遠(yuan)而糊,升山(shan)近而清。白天(tian)可見櫛比(bi)鱗次的(de)(de)高樓大廈林立(li),晚上可瞻萬(wan)千燈光閃(shan)爍(shuo)絢麗的(de)(de)夜景(jing),尤其(qi)(qi)是在(zai)雨過天(tian)晴、秋(qiu)高氣爽(shuang)、風和日麗之(zhi)時(shi),其(qi)(qi)視角之(zhi)廣、視線之(zhi)遠(yuan),無(wu)處可比(bi),為天(tian)然的(de)(de)福州城觀景(jing)臺,是福州罕有的(de)(de)寶地。身處寧靜,眼觀喧囂(xiao),在(zai)佛、道之(zhi)境,看塵世(shi)之(zhi)煩亂(luan),自感超脫,強烈的(de)(de)對比(bi),使人(ren)心境無(wu)比(bi)輕松,流(liu)連忘返。
升(sheng)山靈(ling)巖(yan)寺福州(zhou)(zhou)北郊的(de)這一文(wen)(wen)化(hua)(hua)瑰(gui)寶(bao)(bao),有(you)悠久的(de)文(wen)(wen)明(ming),厚重的(de)文(wen)(wen)化(hua)(hua)沉積,多彩(cai)的(de)神話傳說,豐富的(de)文(wen)(wen)物(wu)瑰(gui)寶(bao)(bao),更(geng)有(you)不(bu)可多得(de)的(de)地理條件,是社(she)(she)會(hui)不(bu)可多得(de)的(de)財富,社(she)(she)會(hui)有(you)責任組(zu)織力量來(lai)保護這一見(jian)證福州(zhou)(zhou)古代發展史的(de)難得(de)實(shi)物(wu),有(you)責任研究、開發這一獨(du)特的(de)歷史、文(wen)(wen)化(hua)(hua)、旅游、觀(guan)光資(zi)源,以(yi)提升(sheng)福州(zhou)(zhou)城(cheng)悠久的(de)人文(wen)(wen)品位,使之更(geng)好地造福于社(she)(she)會(hui)。
