雞公欖曾(ceng)在(zai)二十世紀三四十年代的西關(guan)流行(xing)。
雞(ji)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)欖(lan)的(de)名字(zi)源于賣(mai)欖(lan)人(ren)為(wei)了吸引顧客注意,把一只色彩繽紛的(de)紙扎大公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)雞(ji)模型套在自己身上(shang),吹(chui)著嗩(suo)吶叫(jiao)賣(mai),穿街過巷賣(mai)橄(gan)欖(lan),而且賣(mai)欖(lan)人(ren)能用(yong)嗩(suo)吶摹擬公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)雞(ji)的(de)叫(jiao)聲,‘嘀(di)嘀(di)嗒(da)、嘀(di)嘀(di)嗒(da)、嘀(di)嘀(di)嗒(da)、嘀(di)嘀(di)嗒(da)’,用(yong)廣州(zhou)話來(lai)說就(jiu)是“雞(ji)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)欖(lan)、雞(ji)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)欖(lan)、雞(ji)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)欖(lan),雞(ji)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)欖(lan)”,因此,廣州(zhou)市民稱之為(wei)“雞(ji)公(gong)(gong)(gong)(gong)欖(lan)”。
雞公(gong)欖(lan)(lan)還有(you)一個(ge)別名叫(jiao)“飛機欖(lan)(lan)”,賣欖(lan)(lan)人要(yao)把(ba)欖(lan)(lan)拋(pao)上(shang)(shang)三四層樓高給(gei)顧客。要(yao)是(shi)從樓上(shang)(shang)拋(pao)下(xia)錢(qian),可(ke)以把(ba)用小塑料袋裝好(hao)的(de)(de)(de)雞公(gong)欖(lan)(lan)準確無誤的(de)(de)(de)拋(pao)入窗戶里!這個(ge)橄欖(lan)(lan)就象是(shi)坐飛機上(shang)(shang)去的(de)(de)(de),所以又叫(jiao)飛機欖(lan)(lan)。
雞(ji)公欖初吃時味(wei)澀,久嚼后,香甜可口,余味(wei)無(wu)窮(qiong)。
雞公欖營養豐富,果肉(rou)內含蛋白(bai)質、碳水(shui)化合物、脂肪、維生素C以及(ji)鈣(gai)、磷、鐵等礦物質。
中醫(yi)認為,橄欖(lan)性(xing)味甘、酸(suan)、平(ping),入脾(pi)、胃、肺(fei)經,有清熱解毒,利咽化痰,生津止(zhi)渴,除煩醒酒(jiu),化刺除鯁之功,冬春季節,每日嚼食2~3枚鮮(xian)橄欖(lan),可防(fang)止(zhi)上呼吸(xi)道感染。
