臨高(gao)紅心蜜(mi)(mi)(mi)柚(you)主(zhu)產(chan)于臨城(cheng)鎮美臺村,由于臨高(gao)的氣候環境優越,光照充足致使蜜(mi)(mi)(mi)柚(you)糖(tang)分(fen)(fen)累積(ji)而分(fen)(fen)外香(xiang)甜(tian),且成熟比內(nei)地提前,國內(nei)市場反響良好(hao),已逐漸成為(wei)臨高(gao)農(nong)業產(chan)業又一充滿活力的新品牌。臨高(gao)縣引進的蜜(mi)(mi)(mi)柚(you)品種(zhong)主(zhu)要有(you)品種(zhong)以紅心蜜(mi)(mi)(mi)柚(you)為(wei)主(zhu),其(qi)皮色與(yu)普通蜜(mi)(mi)(mi)柚(you)無異,果(guo)(guo)肉為(wei)紅色,系福建省農(nong)業科學院(yuan)果(guo)(guo)樹(shu)研(yan)究(jiu)所于1998年在平和縣小溪鎮厝丘村林金山琯溪蜜(mi)(mi)(mi)柚(you)園中發現的優良變異品種(zhong)。
臨高(gao)紅心蜜(mi)柚除了具備蜜(mi)柚特征特性外,果(guo)(guo)外皮(pi)在相應遮葉下呈(cheng)淡(dan)粉(fen)紅色(se)和果(guo)(guo)皮(pi)下的海綿層是粉(fen)紅色(se)的,果(guo)(guo)肉呈(cheng)玫瑰紅色(se),營(ying)養元素(su)高(gao)于其(qi)他品(pin)(pin)種的紅肉蜜(mi)柚,最新品(pin)(pin)種果(guo)(guo)大皮(pi)薄、瓤肉無(wu)籽,色(se)澤鮮(xian)艷、汁多(duo)柔軟,清甜微酸。
臨(lin)高(gao)縣(xian)大規模(mo)紅(hong)心蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)柚(you)(you)(you)(you)子種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)植(zhi)(zhi)的歷(li)史其實并不長,最早(zao)連片種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)植(zhi)(zhi)始于(yu)2012年(nian)。當年(nian),海南天(tian)地人農(nong)業有限公司引進福建(jian)紅(hong)心蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong),在(zai)臨(lin)高(gao)縣(xian)臨(lin)城鎮美臺村種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)植(zhi)(zhi)柚(you)(you)(you)(you)子260畝。此后,波蓮、東英等(deng)鎮陸續(xu)開(kai)始種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)植(zhi)(zhi)紅(hong)心蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)、黃金柚(you)(you)(you)(you)等(deng)蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)品(pin)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)。近年(nian)來,隨(sui)著早(zao)期(qi)種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)植(zhi)(zhi)的蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)開(kai)始掛果,臨(lin)高(gao)紅(hong)心蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)才(cai)開(kai)始在(zai)蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)市場(chang)亮(liang)相(xiang),目前紅(hong)心蜜柚(you)(you)(you)(you)連片種(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)植(zhi)(zhi)面積已達1.186萬畝,規模(mo)僅次于(yu)香蕉(jiao)產(chan)業。
其他地(di)區的紅心柚一般是(shi)在9月份的時(shi)候成熟(shu),而由于(yu)海南島地(di)處(chu)熱帶,蜜柚成熟(shu)期早(zao),上市時(shi)間比內地(di)早(zao)40天左右(you),一般在7月中旬(xun)即(ji)可(ke)采摘上市。
