吳門橋歷史
據《吳縣志》記(ji)載(zai):始稱新(xin)橋,又名三(san)條橋,宋元豐(feng)七年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1084年(nian)(nian)(nian))郡人石(shi)氏出資興建,橫絕漫流,往(wang)來(lai)便利(li)。紹定中(zhong)重(zhong)建,改今名。明正(zheng)統間(jian)蘇州知(zhi)府況(kuang)鐘再(zai)建,弘治(zhi)十一年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1498年(nian)(nian)(nian))水(shui)利(li)郎中(zhong)傅潮修(xiu)(xiu),清順(shun)治(zhi)三(san)年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1646年(nian)(nian)(nian))、雍正(zheng)十二年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1734年(nian)(nian)(nian))重(zhong)修(xiu)(xiu),同治(zhi)十一年(nian)(nian)(nian)(1872年(nian)(nian)(nian))江(jiang)(jiang)蘇省水(shui)利(li)工(gong)程總局(ju)重(zhong)建。宋《平江(jiang)(jiang)圖》所(suo)(suo)載(zai)為三(san)橋相接(jie),下設三(san)洞。清乾隆《盛世滋(zi)生圖》所(suo)(suo)載(zai)為三(san)孔石(shi)拱橋。
吳門橋現狀
目(mu)前為蘇州(zhou)留存的最高的單(dan)孔石(shi)(shi)拱古(gu)(gu)橋(qiao)(qiao)。用花崗石(shi)(shi)砌筑,雜有少(shao)量武康石(shi)(shi)。全(quan)長66.3米,中寬(kuan)4.8米,凈(jing)跨16米,矢高9.85米,拱券石(shi)(shi)10排,長系(xi)石(shi)(shi)11根,縱聯并列砌置。1989年,部分(fen)拱券石(shi)(shi)被船只撞落,修補時發現各拱券石(shi)(shi)之間用定勝形榫卯拼(pin)接,以增加牢度,避免移位。條(tiao)石(shi)(shi)橋(qiao)(qiao)欄(lan)鑿(zao)成凹凸狀(zhuang),猶如通(tong)長靠背椅子。橋(qiao)(qiao)額陰刻(ke)楷(kai)書橋(qiao)(qiao)名(ming),間壁明柱(zhu)一(yi)(yi)面(mian)刻(ke)"蘇省水利工程總(zong)局(ju)重修",一(yi)(yi)面(mian)刻(ke)"同治(zhi)十(shi)一(yi)(yi)年壬申夏(xia)四月"。南北兩坡(po)各鋪設條(tiao)石(shi)(shi)踏步50級。北端金剛墻左右兩翼均砌有寬(kuan)約0.6米的纖(xian)道,為纖(xian)夫穿越橋(qiao)(qiao)洞的便民(min)設施。吳門橋(qiao)(qiao)高大壯偉(wei),與鄰近(jin)的瑞(rui)光古(gu)(gu)塔、古(gu)(gu)水陸盤門渾然一(yi)(yi)體,古(gu)(gu)運河滔(tao)滔(tao)東流(liu),舟(zhou)船帆影往返不(bu)絕,是(shi)蘇州(zhou)城西南重要的文物古(gu)(gu)跡游覽區。
