地理位置
位于南(nan)(nan)池子大街東側,普渡寺前巷35號。其址(zhi)原為明代東苑(yuan)(又稱(cheng)南(nan)(nan)城、小南(nan)(nan)城)中(zhong)之重華宮,南(nan)(nan)界在(zai)今緞庫胡同。
歷史文化
明(ming)末被(bei)毀,清順治初(chu)年(nian)改建(jian)為(wei)攝政王多爾(er)袞(gun)(gun)之睿親王府(fu)(fu)。順治七年(nian)(1650年(nian))多爾(er)袞(gun)(gun)死(si)于喀噶城。二月后追奪王爵,王府(fu)(fu)上繳。康熙三十二年(nian)(1694年(nian)),縮(suo)小(xiao)(xiao)規模(mo),將南部改建(jian)為(wei)緞匹庫(ku),北部改建(jian)為(wei)瑪哈噶喇廟(miao),供奉護法(fa)神(shen)大(da)黑天。乾隆四十年(nian)(1755年(nian))賜名(ming)“普度寺(si)(si)”,正(zheng)殿(dian)名(ming)“慈濟殿(dian)”,在正(zheng)殿(dian)、山門(men)兩(liang)側保留(liu)或(huo)興建(jian)了行宮院(yuan)、方丈院(yuan)、小(xiao)(xiao)佛殿(dian)及僧(seng)寮等。據民國時張江裁著《燕京訪古錄》載,寺(si)(si)“為(wei)元代所建(jian),正(zheng)殿(dian)供奉歡喜佛”,但此說明(ming),清文(wen)獻不(bu)(bu)載,恐不(bu)(bu)確切。
普度寺在清(qing)末至民(min)(min)國(guo)(guo)年間已為軍隊或(huo)(huo)其他機構(gou)使(shi)用(yong),只有山門、正(zheng)(zheng)殿、方丈院等(deng)保(bao)(bao)存較好,其余(yu)部(bu)分或(huo)(huo)拆或(huo)(huo)改,失(shi)去原(yuan)狀。建國(guo)(guo)后,中間部(bu)分為小學使(shi)用(yong),周邊進入居(ju)民(min)(min),新建了(le)大(da)量平房(fang)(fang)。2002-2003年,政府投資遷出小學和(he)住在寺界以內(nei)的(de)168戶(hu)居(ju)民(min)(min),全面修復了(le)臺(tai)基(ji)、正(zheng)(zheng)殿、山門和(he)方丈院北房(fang)(fang),其余(yu)房(fang)(fang)屋基(ji)址在取得考(kao)古資料后回(hui)填保(bao)(bao)護(hu),進行綠化(hua),成(cheng)為居(ju)住小區內(nei)的(de)公(gong)共活動場(chang)所。現為北京市文物保(bao)(bao)護(hu)單位(wei)。

2007年5月16日,北(bei)京稅(shui)務博(bo)物館(guan)在此開放(fang),稅(shui)務博(bo)物館(guan)之(zhi)后再一(yi)次遷出普度寺。
北京三品美術館
2011年5月8日,北京(jing)三(san)品(pin)(pin)(pin)美(mei)(mei)(mei)(mei)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)館(guan)(guan)(guan)在(zai)普度寺開(kai)館(guan)(guan)(guan)。三(san)品(pin)(pin)(pin)美(mei)(mei)(mei)(mei)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)館(guan)(guan)(guan)是一家(jia)(jia)充滿獨(du)特魅力的(de)(de)民間非營利(li)性(xing)美(mei)(mei)(mei)(mei)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)館(guan)(guan)(guan)。由深(shen)圳市(shi)千金方(fang)文(wen)化(hua)(hua)發展(zhan)(zhan)有限公(gong)司投(tou)資(zi)(zi)興建,依托中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)書畫博覽的(de)(de)權威傳(chuan)媒資(zi)(zi)質和雄厚報道(dao)資(zi)(zi)源(yuan),以(yi)(yi)獨(du)到的(de)(de)藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)視野、寬廣的(de)(de)文(wen)化(hua)(hua)胸懷、精深(shen)的(de)(de)的(de)(de)學(xue)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)向度、深(shen)切關注當代(dai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)傳(chuan)統文(wen)化(hua)(hua)藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)的(de)(de)發展(zhan)(zhan),努力呈現(xian)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)華民族的(de)(de)優秀文(wen)化(hua)(hua)精神和時代(dai)特征,積極(ji)致力于(yu)為當代(dai)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)書畫藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)發展(zhan)(zhan)提(ti)供廣闊的(de)(de)展(zhan)(zhan)示空間與(yu)實踐可能(neng),開(kai)展(zhan)(zhan)與(yu)國(guo)(guo)(guo)際間的(de)(de)文(wen)化(hua)(hua)藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)交流(liu)(liu),以(yi)(yi)經典藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)、大家(jia)(jia)格調、主流(liu)(liu)聲音為宗旨,通過展(zhan)(zhan)覽、出(chu)版(ban)、學(xue)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)研(yan)究、創(chuang)作(zuo)(zuo)交流(liu)(liu)、收(shou)藏書畫作(zuo)(zuo)品(pin)(pin)(pin)、開(kai)展(zhan)(zhan)公(gong)眾(zhong)藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)教(jiao)育等多種形式,不遺(yi)余力地推(tui)(tui)進海內外藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)家(jia)(jia)、藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)機構(gou)、藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)活動的(de)(de)良性(xing)互動,以(yi)(yi)期在(zai)全球化(hua)(hua)語境(jing)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)謀求中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)傳(chuan)統書畫藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)發展(zhan)(zhan)的(de)(de)最(zui)大可能(neng)性(xing),讓更多的(de)(de)人以(yi)(yi)最(zui)佳的(de)(de)狀態接近藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)作(zuo)(zuo)品(pin)(pin)(pin)和精神產(chan)品(pin)(pin)(pin)。三(san)品(pin)(pin)(pin)美(mei)(mei)(mei)(mei)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)館(guan)(guan)(guan)主要承(cheng)擔(dan)中(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)國(guo)(guo)(guo)書法美(mei)(mei)(mei)(mei)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)作(zuo)(zuo)品(pin)(pin)(pin)的(de)(de)展(zhan)(zhan)覽、收(shou)藏,開(kai)展(zhan)(zhan)學(xue)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)研(yan)究、教(jiao)育推(tui)(tui)廣和公(gong)共文(wen)化(hua)(hua)服(fu)務。為藝(yi)術(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)(shu)家(jia)(jia)提(ti)供創(chuang)作(zuo)(zuo)、展(zhan)(zhan)示、交流(liu)(liu)平臺。
寺院概貌
全寺建于磚砌高(gao)(gao)臺(tai)上,平(ping)均高(gao)(gao)約3米(mi),周(zhou)圍(wei)建宇墻(qiang),此臺(tai)即是明(ming)重華宮(gong)寢(qin)宮(gong)部分(fen)的基座(zuo)。磚臺(tai)正(zheng)中有(you)臺(tai)階,正(zheng)對(dui)山(shan)門。山(shan)門面(mian)闊(kuo)三間(jian)(jian)(jian),進(jin)深七檁,大式(shi)硬山(shan)頂,綠琉璃瓦,調(diao)大脊(ji),安吻獸(shou),墻(qiang)體刷紅。正(zheng)面(mian)明(ming)間(jian)(jian)(jian)辟白(bai)石(shi)拱(gong)門,兩次間(jian)(jian)(jian)為(wei)裝(zhuang)飾性白(bai)石(shi)拱(gong)窗,石(shi)雕仿(fang)木菱(ling)花扇;背(bei)面(mian)出(chu)廊,金(jin)步明(ming)間(jian)(jian)(jian)裝(zhuang)板(ban)門,兩次間(jian)(jian)(jian)白(bai)石(shi)券窗同正(zheng)面(mian)。室內彩(cai)畫保存(cun)良好,為(wei)金(jin)龍和璽式(shi),等級甚高(gao)(gao),應是睿親王府時期遺物。但建筑形(xing)制為(wei)佛寺山(shan)門,屋頂琉璃等級高(gao)(gao)于正(zheng)殿(dian),可(ke)能是王府改(gai)為(wei)佛寺后(hou),對(dui)外觀進(jin)行了改(gai)動。
正殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(慈濟(ji)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian))建(jian)于石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)須彌座上(shang),但殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)身并未占滿全座,座之比(bi)例及雕(diao)(diao)刻均有(you)明代特(te)征,可(ke)(ke)證此(ci)座仍是明重華宮寢殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)原有(you)臺(tai)基,后建(jian)大(da)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)縮(suo)小了規模。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)身面(mian)闊七(qi)間(jian),進深(shen)三(san)間(jian),前出(chu)抱廈面(mian)闊三(san)間(jian),進深(shen)一間(jian),全殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)外加周圍廊(lang)。主殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)單檐歇山(shan)頂,調大(da)脊(ji),安吻獸,削割(ge)瓦(wa)綠琉(liu)(liu)璃剪邊(bian);抱廈卷棚歇山(shan)頂,綠琉(liu)(liu)璃瓦(wa)黃剪邊(bian)。全殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)廊(lang)內(nei)砌磚墻,正面(mian)、山(shan)面(mian)開(kai)大(da)支窗(chuang),下肩飾六(liu)方綠琉(liu)(liu)璃磚。殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)內(nei)東(dong)部(bu)隔出(chu)二間(jian)內(nei)室。外檐出(chu)檐為(wei)三(san)層(ceng)椽,無(wu)斗栱(gong),在柱頭裝飾獸面(mian)木雕(diao)(diao),雀替形式(shi)特(te)殊,室內(nei)彩畫還有(you)不少(shao)博古(gu)題材(cai),整(zheng)個(ge)建(jian)筑具(ju)有(you)明顯的關外滿族宮室特(te)征,可(ke)(ke)斷定此(ci)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)是順治初年新(xin)建(jian)的王府大(da)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian),抱廈用(yong)瓦(wa)等級高于主殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian),可(ke)(ke)能是乾隆時新(xin)加。抱廈內(nei)東(dong)南角有(you)一石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)砌圓坑,直(zhi)徑4.8米,深(shen)1.5米左右(you),北面(mian)有(you)石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)階可(ke)(ke)下至坑底。坑口周邊(bian)有(you)八組石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)雕(diao)(diao)圖(tu)案(an),雕(diao)(diao)刻水波神(shen)仙怪獸,其用(yong)途及雕(diao)(diao)刻題材(cai)尚待考證。但如果抱廈為(wei)后建(jian),則此(ci)石(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)坑原在室外,其用(yong)途可(ke)(ke)能是滿族薩滿祭祀(si)的設施。大(da)殿(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)之西尚存方丈(zhang)院(yuan)北房五間(jian),七(qi)檁(lin)前出(chu)廊(lang),硬山(shan)筒瓦(wa)過壟脊(ji)。
